It has been a few weeks since Emberwing has enrolled in the school, his little harem has helped him out both sexually and socially.

A few other students have started to come around to having a hybrid in the school, the first few that came up to him were Rarity's and Applejack's little sisters, Sweetie Belle and Applebloom along with their friend Scootaloo. A few others included a grey pegasus mare with crossed eyes named Derpy, a muscular white pegasus called Bulk Biceps.

There were a fair few students who were still wary of Emberwing though.

Things have changed for the some of the mares too, with Sunset being reaccepted by Celestia. She has grown a lot not just magically but personally too, Sunset has become kinder and more loving as well.

Trixie has also improved, she still challenges Twilight but now they've become friendly challenges. Instead of trying to one-up her, they now help each other to improve their skills.

They were now all sat in the library, Trixie, Sunset, Starlight and Twilight were all reading various magical spellbooks.

Rainbow was deep into a new Daring Do comic that was just released.

Fluttershy was studying animal biology.

Rarity had a fashion book.

Pinkie was looking through a cake book.

Applejack had a book on apple trees.

Emberwing had just put a book away, he was researching about mythical creatures especially Pheonix. As he put the book away he thought he saw something in one of the empty rows, he walked down the row towards the wall. Emberwing noticed a gem in the wall, it looked like a purple diamond. He reached out with his mechanical arm when something happened, with no word of warning he vanished along with the gem.

Emberwing looked around and found himself in an unknown room, he walked over to the only visible door he could see. As he reached out to open the door with his mechanical arm he noticed something, the gem was now embedded into the knuckle on his first finger. He heard a voice emanating from the gem.

"Here, a free gift to get you started. The element of Generosity".

Emberwing was stunned, to say the least, he never expected the gem to speak.

The Gem continued, "now you can either choose to continue onwards or". At this point another door appeared, "you can leave now through the other door. Nopony will think any bad for you if you take the easy way out, after all, we've seen how hard your life has been".

Emberwing wasn't too sure what was going on, but he was curious to see what was behind the door he was about to open in the first place. Ignoring the new door he opened the first door and walked through.

On the other side of the door.

Emberwing could see various students, however, they all looked angry. One especially was very angry, a very angry Sunset walked up to him.

She slapped him across the cheek, "how dare you, you rapist. This is why we don't like hybrids like you, freaks like you shouldn't even exist".

Emberwing looked at her, "I didn't do that just for my own pleasure you know?, I've had a bit of darkness in my heart since the day I lost my mother and I didn't want you to go down that same route". He looked at the other ponies, "If I was to be totally honest, I hate you all. You lot and your purist behaviour and your mistreating of anything that isn't purely one of the three pony races. I honestly wish you'd all burn in hell". He paused for a bit, "but I can't just fully hate you. My mother died due to the ponies back in my home town, you lot aren't responsible for that. Plus I can't hate all ponies due to the fact that my mother was a pony, I want". At this point tears started to appear in his eyes, "I want to give ponies another chance, for my mother's sake. I want to believe that not all of you are as bad as the ponies I grew up with, but most importantly". He turned to Sunset, "when I'm with you and the other girls I feel this strange sensation right here". He placed his mechanical hand on his heart, "it feels weird, somehow warm and fuzzy. I think I know what it is but I'm too scared to tell you or the other girls, I think I'm in love with you lot but I'm scared that you'll make me choose between one of you. I'm also scared that you'll leave me alone if I don't choose or try to choose you all".

A strange orange glow emanated from Sunset, the other students vanished as the glow took over Sunset. "You've been holding all of those feeling for a long time, your feeling towards other ponies. But now that you've spoken directly from your heart you can feel much better about yourself now your not carrying all that weight on your heart". Sunset changed into an orange apple-shaped gem, "Honesty is its own reward and judging from what we've seen from the girls. They feel the same way about you, they don't want you to choose as it might split them up but they also don't want to lose you either. They'd rather share with each other". The gem then set itself on his mechanical hand behind the knuckle of his middle finger. As this happened two more doors opened, "to your left is the exit and the right carries on down this journey" the gem said.

Emberwing looked at the two doors before taking the right door.

The other side of the door had its own surprise.

As Emberwing looked around he could see multiple Hybrids beating up a young pony.

One of them saw Emberwing and called out to him, "hey come join us in teaching these purists a lesson. This slut has turned eighteen so we're gonna show her where her place is, underneath our cocks". They had ripped off most of her clothes and they were raining down several punches and kicks on her vulnerable body.

Emberwing couldn't take this, true he hated ponies to a degree but this crossed the line. He walked over to them as he turned his wings into fire, a small trick he learned due to his Pheonix DNA. "Back away unless you want second to third-degree burns," he said warning the hybrids, thankfully none of them had fire-based DNA.

"What" one of them exclaimed, "you're gonna help that purist piece of crap?".

The other one smirked, "na bro he's gonna rape her himself and probably burn her from the inside out".

Emberwing ignored them as he turned around to the mare, as he knelt down he expelled a huge flame from his wings towards the hybrids. He made sure the flames were hot enough to do some serious damage, he might as well as he somehow thought they weren't real.

In true fashion, the answer revealed itself once the flames died down, the hybrids weren't there only a pile of blackened stones.

Emberwing removed his Jacket and wrapped it around the mare, "you ok?" he asked before he had to cover his eyes.

It wasn't to prevent him from seeing her naked form, no it was due to the light she was emitting. Once the light disappeared all that was there was a pink butterfly-shaped gem floating in the air. "Thank you," the gem said, "regardless of what you might think. You do possess some kindness towards ponies", the gem set itself on his mechanical hand behind the knuckle of his ring finger. "Don't forget how that kindness feels, both receiving it and in giving it". Two doors appeared again, "if you want to continue the door in front of you is the way to go, but if you want to head back then take the door behind you".

Emberwing didn't need the selection, he wanted to see this through. Even without an idea of what could be ahead of him, he proceeded through the door that was in front of him.

Even Emberwing couldn't have foreseen this room.

It was bright and colourful, decorated from wall to wall. It was clear there was a party going on.

Pinkie walked up to Emberwing, "glad you can make it now let's say happy birthday to the birthday girl". Pinkie took him to the other girls.

Emberwing looked at Pinkie "so who's birthday is it?" he asked.

Pinkie kissed him "mine silly now let's party".

Emberwing wasn't too sure about this, "sorry I've never been to a party before".

Pinkie wasn't fazed as she put a blindfold on Embverwing, "that's ok now take this stick and wack that pinata".

Emberwing gripped the stick tightly, he was unsure of what to make of the situation. He nervously swung the stick as he hit nothing.

"oh so close," Pinkie said.

He swung a few more times, "maybe this isn't so bad" he thought to himself. One more swing, that was all it took before his stick broke the pinata as he heard various things hit the floor.

But before he could remove the blindfold he felt Pinkie replacing his stick with something. "Ready to play my special version of pin the tail on the pony?".

Emberwing felt the object with his hands, his biological hand told him more than his mechanical arm could. "Is this a?" he asked before Pinkie replied.

"Yup a pony tail", she walked over to a wall and lifted her skirt up before pulling her panties down. "Dashie can you prepare the board while AJ spins Ember around?" she said as she bent over against the wall.

At this point, Applejack started spinning Emberwing around on the spot while Rainbow spread Pinkie's ass apart.

Applejack held Emberwing in place as she pointed him to the direction Pinkie was, "go and pin her partner" she said.

"Pin her?" he thought "this is a butt plug", a smile did appear on his face. "Can't disappoint her though now can I?, gotta stuff her cute hole with this toy". He took a few staggered steps forwards, he paused so he wouldn't fall over. Guided only by Pinkie's teasing voice he walked some more as he held the tail out in front of him. A loud.

"Oo".

Indicated he'd hit something.

"Jackpot" told him he'd gotten the right spot too.

Emberwing couldn't help but chuckle as she said that. But as he released the tail the blindfold disappeared.

The room was now empty except for the butt plug, it glowed as it turned into a blue balloon-shaped gem. "See you can have fun too?" the gem said, "remember to enjoy the time you have with the girls. Both the good and the bad that way you can look back on the memories and laugh at them". The gem then placed itself on his mechanical hand behind the knuckle on his little finger. Two more doors appeared, "up and out, down to continue but I'm sure you know that by now," the gem said.

Emberwing jumped down the door that was on the floor, a strange placement but he couldn't question the logic with the way today has been going.

The room was hot and sweaty, no surprises as there was a large pool of lava in the middle of the room. Next to the pool was a group of ponies in full black cloaks that covered their faces, they were holding another pony that looked like Fluttershy all tied up.

Emberwing walked up to them, "what's going on?" he asked.

One of them turned to him, "long ago an ancient artefact was lost to this volcano. Our gods were angry about us losing it, now in order to appease him we must offer a sacrifice".

Emberwing looked at Fluttershy who was terrified, "Sorry but she still has much to live for. Animals to take care of as well as keeping a certain place safe, I'll take her place".

"You certain?" they asked him.

As he walked towards the lava pool they placed Fluttershy on the floor before releasing her from the restraints.

"Please don't do this" Fluttershy said calling out to him.

Emberwing looked at her before giving her a thumbs up, the four gems on his mechanical hand glowing brightly. He dove right into the lava, Emberwing knew his father could survive lava but he was unsure if he could do the same due to his half-pony DNA. But to his surprise, he found out it was like swimming in a very hot bath. His eyes adjusted to the lava, somehow he could see despite the viscosity of the lava. The pool wasn't too deep but it was deep enough to hide something at the bottom, it looked like a small idol statue. Emberwing picked it up before swimming back to the surface.

The other ponies weren't expecting him to resurface, let alone Fluttershy.

Emberwing held the Idol up as he broke the surface, surprisingly the idol was hardly damaged. "Is this the artefact you've lost?" he asked.

The ponies slowly vanished as Fluttershy smiled, she too started fading from sight as the lava turned into water. The idol turned into a red lightning-shaped gem, it slipped between his fingers as it settled on his mechanical hand behind the knuckle of his thumb. "Therein lies the rewards of Loyalty," the gem said, "never forget that your friends will be there for you so make sure you're there for them when they need you too".

The pool turned black as Emberwing started sinking into the depth, for some reason he didn't need to breathe as he sunk lower into the depths. His mechanical arm gave off a spark, "must be damaged somehow" he thought as a few more sparks appeared. But it wasn't damaged as the sparks started to rise to the surface. Looking up he could see a light purple glow in the shape of a star appearing from the sparks, slowly he closed his eyes before he felt his back touch something.

When he reopened his eyes he found himself in a new room, the light purple glow he saw earlier was now in his mechanical hand. He opened his hand to find a light purple star-shaped gem, the gem floated up before placing itself on the back of his mechanical hand.

"Go," the voices said, "the girls need you".

Emberwing was unsure of what they meant, he stood up and walked up the flight of steps before opening the door. The door led back to the library where Princess Celestia was waiting for him.
