In the evening as I get up, put my armor and weapons on me and leave the room to get greeted by Flash Sentry "Good evening Flash."

"Good evening Midnight, I hope you had a good day sleep." Flash says "But we can talk on the way, come I give you a tour through the castle." I nod in agreement and we walk through the castle and Flash shows me the most important rooms.

At the end of the tour, we get to the dining hall where we get in and sit down in front of each other as a mare comes to us with a tray with food and brings us both a meal and places them in front of us. "Here is your meal, I hope it's to your liking." And both of us start to eat the meals.

"Hey, Flash can you tell me more about the rumor, that is told around here about the Pegasus pony which can use magic like a unicorn, who is somewhere around the crystal empire," I say and drink some water.

"Sure, what I know till now is that the pony lives somewhere in the mountains, in the north of the crystal empire. Where this pony is around there is always a sign on which stands "Be quiet, don't run, don't stop just move along or you need to pay" and everyone who doesn't obey by that is robed by that pony. And as the victims and eyewitnesses say, they all get robbed by a pegasus pony in a white armor, is around as big as you are." Flash explains

"And that is about every information we have on that pegasus pony." A voice says, I turn around and see Shining Armor Entering the room, and looks completely tired.

The same mare who brought us food comes in "do you need some milk or diapers for the little one?"

"I need both." Shining Armor says, the mare brings both and leaves the room again while he says "If you want to find that pegasus go north and if you want to take someone with you just ask the pony if it wants to come with you."

"Ok, I will do that then," I say and finish my meal.

"So Flash I will get onto my way. Thank you for the meal and the tour, but I must check something." I stand up and walk towards the door.

"So you want to go alone?" Flash asks.

"Yeah I need to go alone, I will be back in the morning. So if I'm not back by then will you come and search for me, I don't know what ponys will do when I fall asleep in the middle of nowhere and they find me." I ask him with a smile on my face.

"Sure I will move out if you aren't back by 5:30, just be safe. Then see you later and have fun." Flash says and I leave the room go to my room and get ready for a little trip and I leave the castle and walk North.

After a while walking through Snow and over mountains I finally found the sign on which is written "don't stop, don't turn around and don't ask stupid questions. If you do so leave your stuff and run away before I get you." So I want to find the pegasus and I want to find out who that is, well the best way to find that out is to let him come, so I walk a bit forward, stop, turn around and ask out load "am I on a mountain?"

It didn't take long until I heard a voice behind me, "So who is it going to be this time? Who wants to fight me?" I turn around and see a White pegasus stallion holding a long sword with magic.

"Could it be?" I think and say "Hey what are you doing here and who are you?" I hold my blue katana with my magic ready to defend my self.

"Who I am doesn't need to consider you, What I am doing? Well, I am looking how other respond on a sign that has some rules and if they don't obey the sign I let them pay a bit. And now it's your turn." The pegasus says. "So how will you do it, without force or with force?"

"I think I will take option three, beat you and then take you with me," I say with a confident smile on my face, and the white stallion starts laughing.

"You want to defeat me? That is something I don't laugh at, there is only two pony who can defeat me, and only one other who is on the same "level" as me so you will not defeat me." The stallion says with a cocky smile on his face.

I get into fighting position "Then let's find it out if I can beat you." I say and now he is in battle position too.

Not taking to much time we charge towards each other and we started to clash our swords against each other. While we fight slash from the sides and from the up that we block each other and we strike each other again and nearly cutting, each other and the art of battle that this stallion has is for me familiar. We fight a little while until we both lose a bit of endurance, jump on some distance.

"I see," I say. "So this is what you were doing, robbing other ponys?" I ask him with a dark look on my face.

"I do this a little while now, and what do you mean with that saying? It sounds like you know me?" He says with a confused look on his face.

"So you don't remember me?" I ask him "Maybe this helps." and put the blue Katana back to my side and pull the black one out and I still get a confused look from him then I open my wings, and his eyes widen but he still has unknowing look on his face "Oh COME ON! Do you still need more hints, or should I tell you my name right now Midday Sword?"

"Wait a second two katanas, blue and black alicorn, black armor and you know my name." He says and thinks about it very long until I remove my mane from my red dragon eye. "Oh my, I-I-I-I am SO Sorry colonel Midnight Shield, I-I didn't realize that you were alive and around her. Please don't punish me." He says and lies on the ground begging.

"Ok Ok, at least you realized it yourself." I say "And now you will come with me, we will hide that it was you and say that no there will no more problems with this signs and so on." I say destroying the sign completely putting my katana back and say "And from now on its just Midnight or Midnight Shield no more colonel. Oh and no more saluting." I say walking towards the crystal empire.

While we walk towards the palace I talked with Midday Sword about everything that happened till now, what our situation is and saw that he still had his cloaking spell active, "Oh and remove your cloaking spell for now, we don't need to hide that any more." with a nod he removes the cloaking spell and now I see a pure white alicorn with light yellow eyes and a crossed sword cutie mark, also he has a white armor similar to my old armor. We walk through the town and after a short while we arrive at the palace.

As we enter the palace we are greeted by the guard Flash Sentry, "Welcome back Ms. Midnight, I see that you brought someone back with you."

"I am back Flash, and this is an old friend of mine, Flash this is Midday Sword," I say pointing with a wing towards the white alicorn next to me. "And Midday Sword this is Flash Sentry royal guard of the crystal empire and the guard of the royal family which rules the crystal empire." I introduce Midday Sword to Flash.

"Hi, I am Flash Sentry nice to meet you," Flash says and bows slightly towards Midday Sword.

"So you are a royal guard here? Ok, I've decided. Let's have a sparring match." Sword says with an excited look on his face.

"Oh, and before I forget to tell you, he is a crazy pony who loves to fight," I say to Flash

"I see, well maybe we can have a sparring match other time, but for now, come in and have something to eat I will get a room ready for Midday Sword and you two can go ahead to the dining room and get something to eat, I will join you later and then you tell me what is it with this robber," Flash says and leaves while we walk to the dining room.

"So this is the pegasus pony who even fought at a level compared to you?" Sword looks at me.

"Well I didn't use full power and I don't want to kill him, so I couldn't even fight full power without killing him." I explain to Sword, "and now come let's get something to eat." and we walk to the dining room enter it and sit at the table and again the mare comes to us and brings us both our meal. "Thank you for the meal," I say and start to eat.

After a short while Flash enters the room "So Midday your room is ready I will show it to you later, but now I want to know what happened on your little trip."

"Ok ok, I will tell you the short version is I was walking towards the mountains until I found the sign that was talked about after I read the sign I did the exact opposite and then the stallion approached me and challenged me but in the end he lost but didn't want to surrender and fought me to the death, now his body is under the earth in the mountains and on my way back I found my old friend and squad member Midday Sword," I tell him my version of the trip.

"I see, then I will tell Shining Armor about it so he knows that the problem is taken care of. Now I think we should get some rest." Flash says and stands up to walk towards the door.

I look at the clock and see that it is 05:45 "Yeah its already time, so good day to you two." I say walking to the door "Oh and Midday, don't cause any kind of trouble while I sleep, no need to respond I know you will not make any trouble, so have a good day." I say leaving the hallway entering my room. I enter my room put my armor away and katanas away and go to bed.

"Hey Shieldie, I have something for you." Cos suddenly talks to me.

"What is it? I ask him closing my eyes on the bed getting ready to sleep.

"I have a very bad feeling about your little friend, could you do me a favor and put a Katana next to you in the bed?" Cos says.

"Sure I don't know why but if you have a bad feeling then so be it." I say putting the black katana next to my bed "Something else."

"Yeah your approval to defend you if something happens while you sleep." Cos say.

"Ok you have my approval to defend me if some pony or something tries to kill me while I am asleep." I say to Cos.

"So have a good day." I say to Cos.

"Have a good and nice sleep." Cos says and I fall asleep.
