The Lunatic Guardian

After I got the curse and I was awake the whole night, I walk to the dining room, eat something and walk a bit through the castle, looking at the colourful windows seeing everything the friends of Twilight and Twilight did together, what feats they did. "Doesn't this one enemy of equestria look like Luna only more darker and looking more dangerous?" I think in my mind.

"Yeah, It looks like her." Cos says. "And hey doesn't this one recall something in you?" Cos says turning my head to a window.

"Yeah but I don't remember where, when or who it was." I say to Cos, "Lets go find the others."

"Ok, then go" Cos says, and I walk through the Castle untill I reached the Library, in the Library I see Twilight reading some books. "Hey Twilight," I call out. "Can we talk for a moment, I have a problem."

"Oh, hi Midnight," Twilight responds. "Sure just give me a moment." Twilight says and I walk to her, "So what is the problem?"

"Well you fought against the queen in my mind and she casted a spell that did, how it seemed at that moment, nothing, right?" I start.

"Yeah thats right, why do you know what the spell was?" Twilight asks.

"Yeah Cos and I know now what the spell did, the spell was a curse which happens to remove the need of sleep and the ability to go to the dream world. To say it in another way, I can't go to sleep, and I don't have a way to get into the dream world." I explain to Twilight who just sits infront of me with a opend mouth.

It took a moment untill she snaps out of it and says "What she did cast a curse on you, so fast?" Twilight says looking for books about curses.

After a few hours of book reading the door of the library opens again and Celestia walks in, "Oh good day Celestia." I say "how may I help you?"

"Hello Midnight Shield," Celestia says. "I just came to look for something, but you seem troubled is everything alright?" Celestia asks.

"Well the queen cursed me at the end of the fight, and now I can't and don't need to go to sleep, so I will not be able to get into the dream world again, untill this curse is lifted and Twilight is looking if she can find something about the curse." I explain to Celestia.

"Oh that is bad, I hope she can find something, I will try to look into it too when I can." Celstia say, "But don't worry I have faith in my student." Celestia smiles towards me.

"Ok then see you later, Celestia." I say towards Celestia who takes a book and walks out of the library, and I look towards Twilight. "Hey Twilight, I will take a walk and cool down my head, it feels like my head wants to explode right now." I say and get a "a-huh" from Twilight and I leave the library and walk to the castle garden.

On the way I meet Luna who comes out of the dnining room, "Good day, Luna." I say.

"Hi Midnight, how are you?" Luna looks at me with a soft smile.

"I'm fine, but I have a little probelm." and I tell Luna about the curse.

"Oh that is bad, wasn't the dream realm your favorite place because you could be everywhere even a place that is not realy existant?" Luna says

"Yeah that is true." I say with a sad look on my face.

"Don't worry I will think of something, but in that time take a break and go to the garden." Luna says.

"Ok see you later." I say and Luna leaves towards her room and I walk to the garden.

In the garden I see how Twilight's friends are haveing a picnic. I walk towards them, "Hey girls." I say and walk to them.

"Oh hey Midnigh, how are you doing?" Rainbow Dash asks.

"Well I am fine, I just needed to take a brake to much books." I say sitting down to everyone.

"Did something happend?" Rarity asks.

"Well after you all somehow defeated the queen in my mind, she put a curse on me and now Twilight is trying to find anything to get this curse away." I explain the short version.

"You realy have not the best luck." Pinkie Pie says.

"Yeah, not realy." I say and suddenly I hear a familiar voice and how someone appears behind me and I turn around.

"Hey Fluttershy, just wanted to ask you quickly how it looks with the tea party tomorrow evening?" a completly crazy looking figure is standing right behind him.

I know that figure and I still can't belive it. "DISCORD?!" I shout, jump up, get into battle position and grab my black katana with my magic, "What in Lunas name are you doing here?"

"Oh now look who is here, a little unicorn who got some preaty wings and who lives with a dragon inside, who ever it was they did a good job with that." Discord says moving around me.

Fluttershy gets between us: "Stop it Midnight, Discord is a friend of us."

"Wait, Discord, a firend of you? Thats very had to belief." I say relaxing a bit but not letting my guard down.

"yeah he is our friend so you can calm down." Applejack says and gives me an apple, "Here eat something."

"If you say so, then I will belief it for now, but Discord, I keep my eye on you." I say lookin towards Discord.

"I am flattered the old colonel of the old queen is keeping an eye on me." Discord says.

"So what is it between you, and what happend?" Starlight asks

"Well that is a story too long for now." I say and Discord gets very smal stands onto my head and says something very quiet.

"So my little Midnight Shield, I have two pieces of information for you but you must choose between these two. First one is how to despell that curse, the other one is about a old squad member that you could find. So which one is it, the first one then shake your let ear or the secound one then shake your right ear." Discord says and it doesn't take long for me to decide and I shake my right ear.

"So one of you squad members is in the east from here in the city of manehattan the biggest hospital, in there is a pony which is now a very long time in a coma, and that is one of your old squad members." Discord says into my ear.

I quietly say "good I will go their, but is it a big city, are there many ponys?"

"Yes, there are many ponys. Good Luck" Discord says and disapears

"Hey Girls, I got some information about one of my old squad members, but for that I could need your help Rarity, can you make a full body cloack with a hood that could cover my face?" I say and look towards Rarity.

"Sure, but why do you need that?" Rarity looks towards with a asking look.

"Its to cover my look, so no pony gets realy scared by my appearance and if for any reason I use my new form I don't want to scare anypony to tartarus." I say.

"I think I understand." Applejack says and I get a nod from everyother pony.

"I get to it, it will be finished this evening." Rarity says.

"Thank you, I will go to Luna or Celestia and tell them that." I say staing to walk back into the castle.

After a some time I finaly found Luna walking around the castle, "Luna! Do you have a moment?" I call Luna.

Luna turns around and looks towards me, "Sure Midnight, what can I help you with?" Luna looks a confident smile towards me.

"I just got some information about a old squad member from my squad, who is in Manehatten in the biggest hospital that there is." I say.

"Well that only could be "Luna's Sacred Hearts and Hooves Center" hospital it is in the center of manehatten, do you now why your squad member is in the hospital and who it is?" Luna asks me.

"I only now that my squad member is in a coma for a long time now and I don't know which squad member it is." I say to Luna.

"I see and when will you go to manehatten?" Luna asks and we walk down the hallway.

"This evening a cloack that Rarity makes is finished, so I will go after I got the cloack, if that is possible." I say as we pass by the colorful windows, an I don't ask about the windows.

"Want to know more about this windows?" Luna asks me.

"Not now, maybe another time, but it looks interessting." I say and we walk down the hallway again.

"I see." Luna says and we just walk a bit untill we get the garden entrance.

I say to Luna "See you later" and walk into the garden to relax laying under a tree in the shadow and rest a bit, well I can't sleep anymore.

A bit later the day Rainbow Dash comes to me with a blanket and a pilow, "Oh hey Midnight, what are you doing here?"

"Just some resting, I would sleep right now but I can't and you, what are you doing? wanting to take a nap?" I ask Rainbow who puts the pilow on a branch and lays down.

"Yep I take a nap now, I hope it doesn't bother you." Rainbow puts the blanket over her.

"No worrys." I say and Rainbow sleeps and I lay under the tree and rest more untill I see Rarity storm over to me.

As I see Rarity with a cloack runing towards me, I silently get up and walk towards her. "Hey Rarity, this way Rainbow is naping right now." I say and walk with Rarity a bit away from the tree where Rainbow is taking a nap.

"Here try it on", Rarity says giving me the cloack she just made and it fits perfectly.

The Cloack is a black broud color flwoing downwards into a dark blue, then there are stars on the black and a crescent moon, "It looks beautiful, I love it." I say "Thank you Rarity." I say giving Rarity a hug.

"Oh no problem, darling, your welcome." Rarity say.

"Now I need to get ready to go and look for my squad member." I say walking into the castle to my room.

In my room I take my sadle bag, pack my things, put everything on and walk out of the room looking for Luna. It doesn't take long untill I find Luna who is switching out the old lavender with new lavender. "Hey Luna, I will go now."

"Hi Midnight, then I wish you good luck and have fun, we will look into your curse more." Luna says.

"Thank you Luna, then I will go now." I say but get stoped by Luna.

"Wait take this seal with you, if you get any problems show that then everything should be fine." Luna says giving me a seal which looks like a copy of Lunas cutie mark.

"Thank you Luna, untill I am back home next time." I say and leave Luna and go for Manehatten, to the train station, boarding the train and the train goes to manehatten.
