Rarity slowly hummed a happy tune as she and Pinkie finished preparing breakfast for the rest of the Rainbooms, and their unexpected additional guests as well of course.

"Well I dare say Ms. Pie, I do think we may have made the perfect pancakes" Rarity smiled. "Simply Magnifique!" She sang with a kiss.

"Yea, they look super duper yummy yummersons!!" Pinkie agreed with an excited cheer as she licked her lips looking eagerly at the large stack of flapjacks, steam still coming off them as Rarity drizzled the syrup atop of the mountain of deliciousity. "Now, now Pinkie, please show some restraint, these are for all of us. I don't want your gluttonous appetite hoarding them all again like you did with the cupcakes last night!" Rarity scolded looking seriously at the cotton-candy haired girl who just let out a small pout and gave her friend sad longing puppy dog eyes. Before Rarity could comment on Pinkie's childish behavior however she heard footsteps slowly coming down the stairs as Sunset and Wallflower, who had apparently helped themselves to Rarity's pajama's slowly came down both having a blush on their face, uncertain of what to say.

"So, I guess on top of helping yourselves to my bed last night you also decided to help yourselves to my cloths as well "Rarity teased. "Well I hope you also had enough sense to borrow the shower" She finished with a laugh. "Yea, ahh...sorry about that" Sunset awkwardly replied. "I-I ah can help you do your laundry later if you want." She sheepishly offered with.

"Oh no darling it's quite all right, it's not as if I am unfamiliar with getting caught-up in the heat of the moment" Rarity chuckled looking at the two girls, Wallflower now Blushing even moreso then she had been. "Besides Sunday is laundry day around here anyway, so no real harm done." Rarity reassured the two. "Now then" She paused as she cleared her throat. "OK everyone, time for breakfast!" She happily sang as Pinkie's smile returned and the girl grabbed roughly half the stack wit her fork and plopped them down on her plate, the others just chuckling as they approached the square island in the kitchen area.

Later after everyone had finished breakfast and gotten cleaned and dressed the girls decided it was time to head out.

"So, I was going to head to the library, anyone want to tag along?" Twilight asked quite enthusiastically.

"Sorry darling, but as I said earlier i'll be busy here today" Rarity chuckled looking over at Sunset and Wallflower.

"Oh, i'd love to Twilight, but I should probably go to the shelter and check-up on the critters" Fluttershy shyly added "I mean today is supposed to be Zephyr's day to watch them, but, well-you all know how my brother can be." Fluttershy huffed in annoyance thinking back to all the times her younger brother had messed up even the simplest of tasks. The other girls just laughing in agreement.

"And I gotta get home and help Maud polish her rock collection. Oh you should see how shiny and sparkly they get after a good polishing!" Pinkie cheered.

"Yea, and I best be headin home as well" AJ agreed. "Big Mac N Granny smith'll be needin help on the farm and ah also promised ahd help Applebloom fix ah hole in the roof at the Crusader's tree house" The cowgirl explained.

"Oh" Twilight sighed as she looked at her remaining friends. "i'm guessing you have plans too" Twilight sighed.

"Well, not really" Sunset admited. "Though I should probably walk Wallflower home, besides you still need to go by the school and plant that Ghost Lilly or whatever you got yesterday, right?" Sunset asked Wallflower who said nothing but just shook her head yes with a blush.

"Oh, OK I understand" Twilight softly smiled. "What about you two, Rainbow? Trixie?" Twilight asked the remaining two girls.

"Sorry Twi, I mean, I love vegging out with a good book as much as the next girl" Rainbow reluctantly admitted "But I was gonna go to the park today and practice my soccer moves" Rainbow told the girl. "Huh, what a coincidence, Trixie was going to go to the park today as well" The mischievous girl smiled. "Guess we can go together" She boldly stated causing Rainbow Dash to make a face of utter disgust, before gulping to swallow her pride. She knew Trixie was just trying to rile her up again in another attempt to get back at her for last night. "Hehe-sure-why not" Rainbow faux-laughed while doing her best to make a fake smile as she grit her teeth. Twilight meanwhile just sighed once more.

"Hey Twi, don't get all down in the dumpy-dumps!" Pinkie smiled. "I mean it's not like you'll be all alone at that big ol dusty library" Pinkie continued "I mean odds are at the very least Moondacner or Microchip will be there too, maybe you can hang out with them!" Pinkie reassured the girl giving her a sincere smile.

"You're right Pinkie, OK then, i'll see you all at school tomorrow I guess" Twilight sighed as she picked-up her bag and headed out the door, waving goodbye to her friends. Meanwhile Sunset handed Wallflower her plant and smiled. "Guess we should get going too. Wallflower just blushed and stuttered "Y-yea"

Rainbow Dash couldn't hide her annoyance any longer. For some reason unbeknownst to her Trixie Lulamoon the most annoying girl at Canterlot High had decided to tag along with her to the park. True Trixie had behaved on the walk there, that is to say at least the girl had kept her yap shut instead of talking about herself 24/7 like she usually did, but this didn't change the fact the girl still irritated Rainbow by merely existing. Thankfully they soon arrived at the park and this finally gave Rainbow a sense of relief.

"OK, were here!" Rainbow happily exclaimed. "Welp, time to go our separate ways I guess" Dash chuckled as she began to walk away from the girl whom she considered the source of her grumpiness.

"Not quite yet" Trixie mischievously chuckled, giving Rainbow Dash a sly smile.

"W-what!?" Rainbow Dash asked rather shocked "C'mon I let you walk to the park with me and I didn't even say a word!" Rainbow whined. "And neither did you thankfully" She added at the end. "What else could you possibly need me to do for you!?" Rainbow angrily shrieked.

"Talk" Trixie replied. The simple single word said in such a certain manner it took rainbow back a bit.

"Talk?" Rainbow asked rather confused.

"Yes" Trixie confidently replied with a smile.

"OK-But why?" Rainbow Dash curiously asked.

Trixie paused for a bit before she let out a deep sigh. "Because" She nervously gulped before continuing "Because I know you hate me and I want to fix that!" Trixie hastily admitted. Rainbow Dash taken back yet again by the girls blunt words, standing there frozen uncertain of what to say. "Listen, it's not like I like you that much either" Trixie continued "But you're Sunset's friend and this beef you have with me and Wallflower is causing a rift between you two, and-and that's not right!" Trixe bluntly stated once more.

"I-I-Ah" Rainbow Dash stuttered, uncertain of how to reply.

"Sunset is very precious to me" Trixie admitted with a blush "I know you and the other girls have been friends with her a lot longer then Wallflower or I have, but-I-I want her to be happy, and I know the fights she's had with you recently have hurt her, even if she won't admit it!" Trixie exclaimed. "So please, just-just give me a chance, so maybe you won't hate me, and maybe Sunset can be happy around all of her friends again" Trixie pleaded, tears welling up in her eyes.

Once again Rainbow Dash felt lower then low, she hadn't expected Trixie of all people to say something like this, though Sunset had told her that the girl was a bit more self-aware then she let on. Rainbow Dash just let out a heavy sigh before replying. "OK" The girl agreed. "OK, I'll give you a chance, so.....let's get to know each other or whatever....I guess." Rainbow Dash awkwardly agreed, Trixie squeeing as a large smile covered her face.

Sunset looked at the quaint little cottage that Wallflower called home. The house was a small single story building nestled by the woods at the edge of town, built like something you would see in a Thomas Keneigh painting. And as expected the garden was beautiful. "T-thanks for walking me home" Wallflower blushed "And helping be get my new plant put in the garden earlier" She added with a small soft smile.

"Think nothing of it, that's what friends are for" Sunset smiled as he put her hand on Wallflower's shoulder. "Besides I bet your parents are worried about you" She added with a soft chuckle.

"I doubt it" Wallflower sighed. "Mom's off giving one of her botany speeches at Manhatten University and Dad is a curator at the museum so he's pretty busy all the time as well." The girl sorrowfully explained.

"So, you're a latchkey kid" Sunset inquired.

"Yea, more or less. I mean, I love my parents, they're really nice people, and super smart-you and Twilight would like em alot" Wallflower smiled. "It's just...." She paused.

"You wish they were here more often" Sunset empathetically replied staring down at her friend.

"Yea" Wallflower admitted.

Sunset just walked towards the house and looked back at Wallflower "Well it's not like I have much of anything else to do today, so why don't you show me around?" Sunset asked her friend with a smile, Wallflower letting out a happy squee before blushing and covering her mouth, shaking her head yes in agreement.

Rainbow Dash and Trixie set under a large oak tree at the park before Dash broke the awkard silence. "OK, you go first." Rainbow Dash huffed, wanting to get this cheesy attempt at bonding over with. "Very well" Trixie replied with a devious smile. "Let me tell you a story" Rainbow Dash looked over at Trixie curiously as the girl began her tale.

"A long time ago there was a happy couple who lived in Manehattan. They were happy because they were about to give birth to a beautiful baby girl" Trixie began "But little did they know the girl would be the thing that ruined their happiness" Trixie sorrowfully sighed. Rainbow Dash now even more curious. "You see, the girl was born prematurely, she was weak, fragile like glass, but her parents were strong and their love kept her alive." Trixie continued. "As she got older however her weak constitution became even more and more of a burden on her family, bills pilled up and it strained the loving couples relationship. Eventually the girl's mother had had enough, claiming that she had never signed up to have a defective child, so the girl's mother left leaving the father to raise the girl all alone." Trixie explained as she began to sniffle. "But the father was not prepared for this and he hit the bottle hard in his depression." Trixie sniffled even more now. "And the girl who was just six years old didn't understand what was going on or why mommy had left, or why daddy was always mad at her now, why he hit her and screamed at her" Trixie continued on with the sad tale her tears increasing. "But eventually Auntie came and whisked Trixie away to the magical city of Canterlot" Trixie smiled through her tears. "And in her new home the girl knew she had a second chance, she didn't have to be a burden anymore, so the girl was determined to be strong!" Trixie triumphantly cheered, wiping the tears from her eyes. "And with her Auntie's love and her determination she did get stronger, so she would never be a burden again. Sadly the only way she knew how to become stronger was by reinventing herself, so over time she began to overcompensate more and more afraid if she faltered even for a moment she would be that weak little girl mommy and daddy abandoned so long ago" Trixie finished giving Rainbow Dash a soft melancholic smile.

"T-Trixie, oh my God-I-I'm sorry-I-I didn't know" Rainbow Dash gasped as she too wiped the tears that had formed in her eyes.

"Well of course not, it's not like Trixie goes around telling everyone her life story, not even her dear friend Sunset Shimmer knows of her past" Trixie proudly admitted.

Rainbow Dash just looked at the girl confused and laughed "Heh, I guess we really do have a lot in common" Rainbow Dash chuckled.

"Oh, how so?" Trixie curiously inquired.

"Well, you know my little sister Scootalloo....right?" Rainbow asked the girl.

"You mean the purple haired pipsqueak always hanging around with hairbow and squeaky belle, yea I know her" Trixie teased. Rainbow Dash just rolling her eyes. "Well anyway, her story isn't that different from yours" Rainbow Dash sighed. "You see, when scoots was a baby she was left at our doorstep, we don't know how or why, my parents even contacted the police, but the officers said there hadn't been any reports of any stolen or missing babies, so there wasn't much they could do" Rainbow Dash explained.

"OK, so what does that have to do with me?" Trixie curoiusly asked.

"Well, you see" Rainbow Dash gulped. "Scootaloo was born with a rare heart conditoin. I know you probably can't tell given how rambunctious she is, but yea...when she was dropped at my parents doorstep there was a note that said this is broken, we don't want it. Rainbow Dash began to sniffle herself "When my parents took Scoots for her first check-up they found out what the note meant. But unlike whatever monster abandoned her they didn't care, the'yve spent their entire lives loving her just as much as they have me" Rainbow sniffled some more. "But" she began. "But what" Trixie asked.

"Because of Scoots condition she can never play sports like I do." Rainbow sobbed. "I-I mean sure she can play around like any kid does, but every year she asks if this is the year she can be on the soccer team or the baseball team or basketball team and my mom and I have to sit her down and explain to her why she can't. A-and" Rainbow began to sob even more "And I see the hurt in her eyes. She looks up to me so much and wants to be an athlete just like me and my dad before me, and we have to sit there and tell her, sorry kid, you're not strong enough. And I hate it!" Rainbow Dash finished sobbing as much as Trixie was before.

Trixie just looked at Rainbow Dash and let out a soft smile. "Well, maybe next time just say yes" Trixie smiled. Rainbow Dash just looked at Trixie as she wiped away the tears. "Well I mean even if she can't play that doesn't mean she can't be on the team, i'm sure she'd be fine even just being the towl girl as long as she got to spend more time with her awesome sister." Trixie chuckled as she dusted off her skirt and offered to help Rainbow up.

"I guess we do have some things in common, though my problem was my immune system, not my ticker" Trixie chuckled as the rainbow haired girl took her hand. "And you know, if my immune system eventually got stronger as I got older, I bet Scootaloo's heart can as well. Especially with a family as awesome as yours" Trixie reassured the cyan teen. Rainbow Dash just smiled and gave Trixie a thumbs up. "Hell yea, there's nothing my family can't do!" The girl proudly proclaimed as Trixie began to clap.

Sunset took in her surroundings. The house was quaint, it had a nice relaxing and rustic feel to it. The living room looked like something out of the late 19th century with extravagant furniture and walls lined with book shelves full of books. A record player in the corner with a collection of classical music and old pop and rock records in a basket nearby. "No TV?" Sunset curiously asked. "Nope" Wallfower blushed. "We all have our own laptops so my parents never really saw a need for one" Wallflower explained. "Yea, I guess that makes sense" Sunset smiled. "Nice house anyway" She sang. "So where should we go next? The kitchen, the restroom, your room?" Sunset asked with a smirk.

"N-not yet, I-maybe next time" Wallflower blushed. At first Sunset wondered why the girl didn't want her to see her room, but quickly reluctantly accepted. "OK then, i'll see you at school tomorrow." Sunset sighed as she walked up to the shy girl. "Until next time my little sunflower" Sunset teased as she kissed Wallflower on the forehead, the girl just turning blush red as she watched Sunset turn around and wave good bye. Slowly and awkwardly waving back as Sunset headed out the door.
