Sunset blinks a few times, looking left and right, wondering what she’s doing looking at the floor. She looks up at the clock on the wall, and her eyes go wide.
“What? How is it that late already? Oh man, I have to hurry, or I’m going to be so tardy!”
She wipes herself off, throws her clothes on and bolts out the door. Meanwhile, I’m sitting there watching with the biggest grin of my life.
Now then. I know what you’re thinking. Why did I tell you all of that? If you’re just going to forget as soon as I let go of your hand, why would I tell you about eating out Sunset Shimmer?
A few reasons. For one, the looks on your face were worth it. Two, it feels good to actually tell someone about this. I mean, that day? The day that I first ate out Sunset? That was months ago. Yeah. Months. I’ve been a ghost in this school for that long. So these rare little opportunities to communicate with someone? It’s nice.
And… There’s one other reason. But first, I need you to do something for me. Reach into your backpack. Now take out a piece of paper and a pen. Write this down, exactly:
“Your phone is behind the trash can by the cafeteria door. Love, Wallflower Blush.”
“P.S. Stay away from Sunset Shimmer.”
Yeah. You heard me. I’ve seen the way you’ve been looking at my girl. And I don’t like it.
Sunset Shimmer is mine. You hear me? She’s mine.
I can’t be seen, and I can’t be heard. And people forget about me as soon as I stop touching them. You don’t want someone like me to have to get… creative.
