//-------------------------------------------------------// Caribou Raiders: Engla's Task -by BrightDawn- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// A Promised Tribute //-------------------------------------------------------// A Promised Tribute Engla stomped the dreamquencher leaves she had gathered yesterday in the wooden mortar. Khagan Dainn sat besides her, drinking warm milk. She missed the sweet dreams about her parents, but Dainn had ordered her and the rest of the tribe to take the dream suppressing herb and she trusted her little brother more than she trusted herself. She was wearing flowers in her hair as a symbol for her coming mission. Engla would be given as tribute to secure the future of their clan, just like their mother had been given to their father by another clan long ago to get a truce. There was a bit more than that to it this time, but this is what they had told the rest of the clan. Just for a moment she allowed herself to feel a bit of pride. She was taking probably the most dangerous foe this new land had to offer out of the equation. That had to count for something. But she quickly scolded herself for that. Cows weren't supposed to feel pride. She was just three fuckholes like any other female. At the end of the day, her task could be summarized in convincing this Discord to use one of them. Dainn would still be the one doing all the hard work to bring the inhabitants of Equestria to see the light of the Two Faced God. "I can't believe they let her escape. How could these fools have let her untie herself?" the Khagan said in an annoyed tone. Engla paused for a second. It was odd how Daring Do had managed to run from her captors despite Dainn tasking some of his best men to guard her. But she couldn't let little things like that get him down. "She was run down and recaptured, remember? All's end that ends well. Maybe she just has a lot of experience tying and untying ropes. You never know with this crazy world." "We were so close to getting annihilated. If she knew how to ride a warbeast, she would have slipped away and then all the enemies she had described would have descended on us at once." Dainn explained and sighed. They were talking strategy again. Improper for a cow, but she really didn't care this time. "How many times have we faced a close call? How many times has our clan been on the brink of destruction, only for your wit to pull us through? How many times have you made it through one of your wounds getting infected?" Lecturing a male like that was even more improper for a cow, but her brother did tend to get melancholic and Engla was more than willing to break etiquette to cheer him up. She pressed on. "You are beloved the Two Faced God, Dainn. How else would you explain your victories so far? Even this spirit of chaos is nothing before Him!" This stopped Dainn from getting broody, but it didn't quite put a smile on his face. Engla had always been more god fearing than her brother, after all. She decided to stroke his ego instead. "Besides, you've already won if this goes well. Could my clever little brother explain to this dumb cow how he has already planted the seeds for these heathens destruction?" Dainn smiled. Engla knew how much he loved it when he managed to outsmart an enemy and she loved reminding him and giving him an excuse to talk about it. "Well, my dumb big sister..." he said mockingly, making it very clear that he wasn't buying her act "Its quite simple. We've got Celestia on our side now. She too now knows to fear the Great Fire. The snake's head is off." "So the body is useless." Engla replied happily. Dainn hesitated for a moment. "Hopefully. She'll slowly guide them to the righteous path." "Thank you! I'll try to remember this time." Engla replied in the dumbest sounding voice she could put on. The Khagan smirked and sipped his milk. "Enjoying the peace and quiet as a tribute, Engla?" As a tribute, no buck could use Engla's holes. She hated herself for it but there were more than a few cocks she did not miss, usually belonging to those that most brutally manhandled her. Ivangir had tried to still use her while drunk but the other bucks had shooed him away. There were others she did miss though. The gentle touches of Adelgis came to mind. She had wished that he'd ask her brother permission to put a fawn in her belly, but it was now too late for that. Maybe in another life. Not wanting to sadden her brother, Engla simply nodded. "I will miss you, sister." Her eyes teared up. Not this again. This was their third tear faced goodbye in the past two days. The Two Faced God only knew where this Discord would take her to and if she'd ever see him again. But she had to be strong for him. "Yooohoooo!" And suddenly they were interrupted by an ear deafening cacophony of screaming cows, shouting bucks, drums and instruments Engla didn't even know. //-------------------------------------------------------// Introductions //-------------------------------------------------------// Introductions Discord looked over his work. All the strange boar like creatures were standing on their hind legs. Some were dancing, others were giving their owners a concert with drums, trumpets, violins and he had even given one of them a piano. He himself was wearing a fancy purple suit that sparkled in the sunlight. "Heeeelloooo, Equestrian Grasslands, how are you doing today?" Scared and angry. That's how the residents of the Equestrian Grasslands were doing. Some of the cows were screaming their lungs out while the males were drawing their swords and getting ready to fire their bows at him. Discord snapped his fingers and everything went back to normal. "Not that big music fans I see." But the bucks kept their swords pointed at him and their bows drawn. Only when an armored Caribou ran out of one of the tents and shouted something completely unintelligible to Discord did they lower their weapons. And then next to him came out an absolute bombshell. Breasts that defied gravity just like Fluttershy's and were almost as large. Hips that were wider and a face almost just as cute. Besides the flowers in her hair, she wasn't wearing anything. In fact, all of the females here were naked. Right. Discord blushed. While he loved to lose himself in clusterfucks like the one he had just created, they did make little details like that hard to spot. This was awkward. It reminded him of the time he had walked in on Fluttershy showering. He both loved that moment and hated that he loved it. It had made all kinds of feelings come back to him. He had to move on from both that and this. He snapped his fingers again and he was wearing a copy Rarity's white dress and her red glasses, though he had to admit the outfit didn't fit him as well as it did her. "I simply cannot let such a crime against fabulosity go uncorrected!" Discord cried out, in a tone mocking the fashionista's voice. With every snap of Discord's fingers, another dress appeared on another Caribou cow's body. Most of them clumsily started fumbling to try and take it back off. "Enough!" a tinny voice commanded. Discord stopped. Another armored Caribou had appeared next to the first one. He was holding a black cube which was the source of the voice and he was giving Discord the most angry glare he had ever seen. "By The Two Faced God, Ortwin., behave yourself or I will give you a taste of switching." the other armored Caribou scolded. Ortwin tried to conceal his outrage as well as he could. "Brother Discord,..." the first armored Caribou turned to him "while you are our most honored guest, we do not appreciate you mocking our customs like this. Even if they are different than yours, you must respect them." Discord grunted. "I was just having a bit of fun." He snapped his fingers and the white dress was replaced with his customary jester outfit. "Get rid of all of those clothes you conjured." the armored Caribou continued. "Are you sure?" "Yes." With another snap, the dresses the cows were wearing disappeared. "You must be Khagan Dainn. You're the talk of the town in Canterlot." Dainn lifted his eyebrow at the last sentence but quickly hid his curiosity. "Indeed." he confirmed. "Well, what is this "prophesy" you had to tell me about?" "I dreamed of my true love, Discord." the cow said. Even though she was speaking the Caribou's weird language, Discord could hear the passion in her voice. "And who might that be?" "You." Discord started mumbling. This was not at all what he had expected to find here. A thousand little things spun in his head. He did not deserve to be loved. He was a coward. Thousands, millions of ponies had confessed their feelings. Foals had done it in schools on Hearts and Hooves Day. Yet he, the spirit of chaos, day after day had failed to confess his real feelings to Fluttershy. And the clock was ticking. A pony's lifespan is so short when you're immortal. Cowards don't deserve love, especially not from Fluttershy. Yet here was this complete stranger offering it anyway. "But... how can she have had a dream when..." a clearly drunk Caribou stammered. "Why don't you have another cup of airag, Ivangir?" another Caribou interrupted and shoved the cup in his face before said Ivangir could say yes. "I... I don't even know your name." "Engla. Now you do." Discord again lost his tongue. Engla walked closer to him. "i know you're scared, Discord. But Caribou dreams do not lie." Love on first sight. This only belonged in fairy tales. This simply didn't make sense. "Oh, what fun is there in making sense?" a little voice in his head reminded him of his own words. He wanted to believe her. That a coward like him deserved her love. Perhaps she wasn't the pegasus mare he lived with, but someone like him couldn't be picky. Fluttershy was too good for him. "Should... should I take you to dinner?" "Just take me some place far away from here that's truly your own. My dream told me that we'd live there happily ever after." "Won't you miss your friends here, Engla?" She couldn't help but give a sad look to Dainn. He nodded at her. "I will. But love is worth it." "Can't I just come back with you once in a while?" Discord asked, confused. "No... My dream forbade it." Dainn stroked his chin. "Only once. Her dream told her she could come back only once. To do me a great favor." Dainn jumped in. "Yes,.... of course!" Engla confirmed quickly. "You're... not going to like this place that's truly mine." Engla kneeled before him. "I am. I swear I will." And with another snap of Discord's fingers they both disappeared. Author's Note My attempt here was to portray Discord as an incredibly emotionally weak character that tries to cover it up with mischief. Don't know if I really succeeded. //-------------------------------------------------------// A "Lover"'s Trial //-------------------------------------------------------// A "Lover"'s Trial Gone was the green grass of the Equestrian Grasslands. Gone was the blue sky. Gone was the solid ground. Engla and Discord were on a tiny island floating in... nothingness. She looked around. This was one island of many, each one weirder than the last. Odd colored trees, odd colored grass. Islands floating upside down. Birds flying backwards. It all made the cow's head spin. Discord said something in his bizarre language. Engla for the life of her couldn't even guess what it meant. Dainn had commanded everyone in the clan to try and learn Ponish, but they barely had had any opportunity to do so. Even Ortwin and his storyteller memory had managed to pick up just a few words and it was his job to remember things. Engla herself only knew one word. "No.", from Daring Do's rape. She wasn't going to say it anytime soon. Discord laughed, snapped his fingers and disappeared. Engla's heart almost burst for the few moments she was alone in this mad realm. "Two Faced God, give me strength." she whispered to herself. When Discord reappeared he was holding the Black Tongue. "Discord. My love. My brother needs that. Give it back!" "Oh, how would I dare to steal from my "true love's" brother?" The way he said "true love" frightened Engla. While not outright sarcastic, the tone was doubtful. All of the Caribou. All of Equestria hung in the balance. Even Discord would burn if the Great Fire wasn't stopped. Only the Two Faced God could stand against it. "I just made a copy of it for myself. You should have seen the look on your brother's..." A smaller Discord popped out of Discord's ear "By the way, why am I only learning about him being your brother now?" and popped back in. "face." Of course Dainn would be stunned. He had ridden to the four corners of the Caribou steppes to find the black tongue and the portal that let them flee to this land. Three clans declared him a heretic for trying to recover the knowledge and artifacts of the old ones and had tried to kill him and his clan. To see the Black Tongue replicated as if it were some common bauble couldn't have been pleasant for him. "Actually, I think you should!" He snapped his fingers again and changed outfits. Engla had no idea what was going on, why he was holding a piece of wood with colored pastes and why a piece of cloth was held in place by a wooden structure. Discord's hand started moving faster than her eyes could follow and in mere second on the cloth appeared a picture of her brother desperately trying to hide his stunned expression. "See? Absolute gold. So I decided to give him two more copies as well. I also left him a little bell." "Why's that?" "So he can contact me for that one "great favor", of course." What was that favor her brother would ask for? Discord's fingers snapped again. They were in one of those Equestrain wooden yurts and she was strapped to a weird box with glowing lights and a white, solid, flat substance with multiple red lines coming out of it. "Do you really love me?" "Yes." Engla replied firmly. Discord ripped some of the white substance and studied it. "It says here on the polygraph that you started sweating more when you answered that question. It could be because you're lying or it could be because you're exited to be with me." "Or it could be because the furniture here can talk and she's not used to that." a voice beneath her added. "Good point, chair!" Discord's fingers snapped and the box disappeared. This wasn't disturbing anymore. Sure, her environment was foreign to her. She had never been in one of Equestria's stone or wooden structures but she was pretty sure that Equestrian furniture didn't usually talk or stick on the ceiling. Wait. That was the floor. She was the one sticking to ceiling. What had replaced her fear was disdain. Her clan had used every little material possession they had, every one of the few magic tricks they knew and regular tricks they could come up with to eke out an existence on the harsh Caribou Steppes. Always hanging on by just a tread. And here was him, her owner, her "lover" who had the very fabric of the universe at his finger tips and was using it to amuse himself like a toddler who had gotten a hold of his or her father's bow, thinking it a mere toy, not a vital tool his family depended on for safety. It wouldn't have been that bad if she didn't know another fact about him. She knew what had tamed him. Friendship. Discord could have been the greatest Khagan that had ever lived and he had held out for just the thing that happened naturally to you when you weren't as dumb as Ivangir. Only now did it truly hit her how ridiculous that was. This was a fawn in an adult's body. Engla's mind had been racing how he could get him to love her. Now she doubted he even understood what love was. That made things simple. "Take me." "Huh?" Oh, by the Two Faced God! How could anyone be so stupid as to not know what to do when a cow was telling him to take her? She desperately resisted the urge to her eyes at him. "Fuck. Me." Discord blushed. "Here? Now? Really?" he mumbled. Engla wanted to slap him. Whatever Godforsaken void had birthed him had probably dropped him on his head repeatedly. She closed her eyes and asked the Two Faced God for patience. "Whenever you want." she said in the sweetest voice she could fake. "Give me a second." Gladly. Engla closed her eyes. She had been taken many times by Caribou that weren't lookers but Discord outdid all of them. It was as if someone had cut up like 10 different species and haphazardly sewn them back together. Even the warbeasts she blew to get her daily sustenance were prettier than him. Sexy thoughts. She needed sexy thoughts and fast. She was home. She was on the grass. Adelgis was about to take her. She was truly his. Engla licked her lips. "You can open your eyes now." Before her was an Equestrian bed in a weird shape with a red cover. Around it, tiny fires burned in transparent cups which smelled oddly pleasant. "Don't worry. This one can't talk. That would just be silly." Engla climbed onto it and spread her legs. Discord undid his pants and her heart almost burst again. There was no way he was putting the torture instrument he had just taken out inside her. 7 interconnected orbs , each one covered in tiny spikes. She wanted to run. She didn't know where to but she just had to. She closed her eyes again. In her arms was Dainn, shivering, with a festering wound on his chest. Bravely earned leading a charge. As was his duty. If he could do his, she could do hers. "Go ahead. Take me." "In my arms?" "I think you know what take me means by now, Discord." she said, allowing herself to be snarky for once. As Discord started pushing into her, her very being turned into pain. She had been with brutes, she had purposefully been whipped to please the Two Faced God but this was on a whole new level. At least when the spikes would make her bleed, she'd moisten up, she comforted herself sarcastically. A million prayers ran through her head. Virgin bucks didn't last that long. She hoped that that also held true for virgin whatever-the-hell-Discord-was. She gritted her teeth as time slowed down for her and Discord started getting a rhythm. "Do you like that?" he asked. "Do you?" "Yes." "Then I do too." She expected Discord to get up to his antics while fucking her, to get into some crazy costume and do something silly, but he was too concentrated. At least that would have given her something to distract her from the pain. But instead it was monotonous, agonizing torture until finally, Discord's eyes started rolling back. "Yes, oh, by the Two Faced God, yes!" she cried out, faking an orgasm with as much enthusiasm as she could muster. It was finally over. Except it wasn't. One of the orbs started swelling. And swelling. As if this needed to get any more painful. To the point that Discord couldn't move anymore. They were awkwardly stuck together. "Swear to me, Discord. Swear you'll be with me here as long as I live!" she cried out. "I swear!" he cried out and started cumming inside her. And with that, today's trial was over and Engla allowed herself to pass out. Author's Note At this point I can rename this series to "Everybody Hates Ivangir", can't I? *Rant alert* With this reboot, I originally wanted to import as many vanilla Caribou characters as possible. Sad thing is that most of them don't have any personality so there really wouldn't be anything to import. I'd just be bringing in more Ivangirs into my story. And let's be honest, he sticks out like a sore thumb in his clan. They constantly have to babysit him so he doesn't ruin their subtle plans. Don't worry. I already have a fairly fitting end for him in mind. There are however two Caribou in vanilla that do have some degree of personality. First, King Dainn. That is, in "Meet thy Maker" (https://www.fimfiction.net/story/379516/fall-of-equestria-meet-thy-maker) he has personality. In the stories before that, the Looney Tunes theme could be playing in his head on repeat for all we knew. Khagan Dainn however is a completely different beast from King Dainn. He was written before I read "Meet Thy Maker" and I don't regret the completely different spin I gave him. Let's not beat around the bush, King Dainn is a piece of shit through and through. If he were in my story, the mile long list of deep personality flaws would have done him in almost immediately. Khagan Dainn seems almost knightlike by comparison. Change just one detail about him, his ideology, and you've got yourself a hero. Yet all his virtues only serve to bring Equestria suffering. The second one is Gunne from "Bruised Apples" (https://www.fimfiction.net/story/174825/fall-of-equestria-bruised-apples). He would feel right at home in Khagan Dainn's clan. But that's a bad thing. The religion of the Two Faced God is centered about personal acts of piety (though it's gender specific what said acts entail). Even if him and Ginna could have been born cursed, something that completely goes against this, redemption would have been easy. Gunne would have quickly worked to appease the Two Faced God and thus erase his pariah status that in vanilla completely molded him. Heck, his parents could have done it for him. He'd thus be a very different person, named Gunne for no other purpose that hamfisted fan service. //-------------------------------------------------------// Compassion //-------------------------------------------------------// Compassion Engla woke up in a white Equestrian bed. Discord was besides her, wearing a white outfit with a red cross on it. "Are you okay? I'm so sorry." Discord said in a sad tone. "Yes. Yes I am." she said hiding any pain she felt. "I hurt you bad, didn't I?" "It was worth it for you, my love." "I stayed by your side. Just as I promised." Engla hesitated for a moment. "Thank you." The disdain she had for Discord was replaced with something else. Pity. No buck would have ever fallen for a trick as slimy as asking him to make a promise while he was near orgasm. This truly was a fawn in an adult's body. How could Discord have grown up? He didn't have to. The Steppes hardened you. They tested you day after day until nothing but iron remained. Their challenges bound bucks and cows together. And what force could possibly challenge Discord? Friendship would truly be hard for him to get. The powers he held were both a blessing and a curse. Discord blushed again. "You... could have used other things... to pleasure me..." By the Two Faced God. He wanted anal. Engla cringed at the very thought of that. "that wouldn't be as painful for you... like your hands... your mouth... I once saw a...erm... magazine where a mare used her bobbies to pleasure a stallion." Thank the Two Faced God. "Maybe later." It felt strange to simply hand wave away a male's desires like that but also weirdly appropriate. She had more than done her duty to the Two Faced God. She had earned a break. "Why don't you amuse me with your high jinks, Discord?" she commanded. Author's Note Aristagtle's been busy lately and I don't know how long that'll last. While spelling and grammar mistakes aren't pleasant for the reader, it's not them that I fear. A spelling mistake doesn't affect later stories. Logical mistakes do. I'm trying to craft a story as watertight as possible, and that's kind of hard to do without someone playing the role of water. Still, fortune favors the brave. I'll have to be my own water for now.
