Mare Terror of the Wasteland
War - War Never changes.
Since the time when the destructive nature of man could sustain itself no longer, when The world was plunged into an abyss of nuclear fire and radiation, many life forms the old world knew had either lay down to disappear in the sands of time through their own extinction, or had their own evolution hyper accelerated thanks to the hell fire that rained down that fateful day.
But human and pony kind were not done with their destructive ways. For whispers on the wind from ghosts long faded whispered of a second coming war, one that would assure all would be removed from this world for the blight they created on what they called earth.
The day came where human scientists found .... technology that would no longer work, from the old world .... well it would not work without the help from the oh so few unicorns that were left, and their ability to tap into what limited magic was left. The Scientists tricked not only my kind, but their own kind as well, what with promises of rebirth and regrowth.
However, Greed - Greed was something humanity could never shed, it was the source of our very own collective undoing. How could it be known, when there was so much ignorance to the past, or what happens when playing with the power of the gods.
The very name of this ancient sorcery seemed to declare the travesties it held. A Word that sends a shiver up the spine of the most hardened in the wasteland. The Ghouls, well those not turned feral tried to speak up to warn all of the project simply called cloning.
Yet, the project went forward, with the foolish Idea those chosen could be controlled. The idea was to bring the hoofed goddesses back, so they could guide us out of the darkness, for old legends spoke of how grand they were in their time.
Nature - Nature is a force that cannot be shackled, nor bend to moral rule. A Lesson that was not learned, even with the accelerated growth, that for some reason frozen their aging process the moment they reached maturity. Yet they were trained to be the deadliest ever known with presumed primary techniques.
It was awkward at first to see their lack of modesty, how they seemed to prefer being naked where ever they went. That coupled with the silence at which they moved and lack of speaking made their truly terrifying. However, it seemed like they could communicate with themselves on a level none understood.
The very moment they broke out, we knew we had once again wrought our own destruction. For they may have had the same body as those that were to be our salvation, but their souls ..... their souls were twisted, demented .... no one can understand why.
Upon the break out, they had immediately went their separate ways. Leaving us to devise a plan to stop them, as reports of the carnage they left behind poured in.
Even as I stand here, to chronicle what has happened, what is happening in a hopes that fortune finally smiles on us, future generations will not make a third repeat of their past, all I can do is hope the gods will greet us at the gates of Tartarus[, and understand our ignorance.

Time - Time was the one thing, we had no idea we were running out on.
Perhaps it was the fact that we would keep the three reborn in their cages, forced to wear clothes when we had an assignment for them, or the Permanent bomb collars around their neck, more for their protection then ours obviously, just .... you know ... in case they decided to snap.
It would do no one favors to have those trained in the mastery of assassins, which was done under the guise of it was for their own protecting in this hell scared earth we brought them back to, Then again we always told ourselves allowing them to gain freedom of roaming around at their leisure, would be a detriment to their safety how could we know this had greatly displeased them? For they showed no signs of wanting -- or perhaps incapable of interacting with us.
The Routine was the same .... oh how mind numbing the same ... select one or all three for a chosen assignment, then watch as they left silently, only to return when it was done. We should have known something was ..... amiss with how the one who now carried the burden of the name Twilight Sparkle would silently stand, watching the humans work, almost like she .... longed to be interacted with like she was one of them.
This tortured land, no longer had a president, which due to the nature of far to short a lifespan many were now born into, those who seemed to exceed into later years we called Elders. We had suspected Elder Piles, was loosing the use of his reasoning, but nothing was more evident, one day he walked into Twilight's cell, with a heavily armored guard, only to remove her collar .... well not only, as unbeknownst to us, he added a subtle threat (come back later to add this line, so as it makes sense to those who want to just read the script) which it would seem he had done with the two others.
Some tensions seemed to ease, seeing the duplicated mare roam, without the risk of her collar suddenly exploding, taking whomever was around her at the time into Tartarus. While many learned to avert their eyes when the trio was seen roaming the halls silently, which was not as often, as they seemed to scavenge for the odd part, only to return to their room. In hind sight, this should have been a warning, that perhaps we should have checked in on their collective duties, however we were happy to keep our distance from these ..... these .... oddities .....
Fate still would not smile upon us in a favorable light, for she who was named Twilight, one day standing in front of her bed, fully dressed, as if in silent contemplation, while her sisters were out doing their chosen assignments.
As if in a moment of cognitive function, she removed her clothes, folding them neatly, and placing them on the bed, then strapped a odd device to hip none had noticed. She left her room, with a unknown thought, perhaps a mounting desire.
She approached the Elder's office, not being stopped or questioned for those she passed thought it was nothing more then some form of official business.
When she approached the Elder's office, she boldly walked up to the desk, and the two stared at each other, almost like .... they were communicating in a manner no one could hear. After what felt like hours, though it was only mere minutes she proceeded to walk away. What happened next ----- no one can explain why. Perhaps it was a mind that had finally gave way to the rotting, or perhaps she heard the Elder call for her immediate execution, however she returned, stealthy as she was, and none had noticed her.
Well never noticing until it was too late. It was a collective foolishness to think that Magic had all but left this world, as the unicorns who helped run the machines of cloning used up what little precious reserve in this world that was left.
However, Twilight wasunknownto us the very embodiment of magic, and as such had constructedmegaspellgrenades, that would not, not harm her, but those caught in the blast ..... it was like a thousand nuclear bombs going off at it's apex.
She had now seen us .... all living creature's as a threat to not only her own preservation of life, but a threat to her sisters, that had to be eliminated.
It seemed the more she took out with her mega spell grenades, the more satisfied, almost elated she had become. With some bitterness, I can say we had always told brother Gilbert that being so involved with his work would be his end, we had not knowing it would be at the hoof of a pony .... gone mad.
She was methodical, knowing the base so well, she knew where to strike. Even our armed personnel could not take her down, either because she was moving to fast, or some part of them did not want to extinguish her life force. Though she wasted not a moment on doing just that to them. It was not long after she made her way down to Good Springs, where she gleefully used her last two grenades on the unsuspecting populace.
However with the grenades depleted, and a mounting lust for carnage, she turned to her strength to finish the job on both human and animal. One thing was certain, she now had a craving for carnage, that all she met would soon see a instant fitting death. Some reports state she was in possession of a sniper rifle, but none knew where she gained access to it, or if she knew how to use it.
One thing was for certain, we were concentrated on where she had been, and never considered where she might go ....
