Sunset Shimmer sighed, tapping a finger against the tabletop as she looked up at the clock over the door leading outside. Frowning, she pulled out her slim cell phone and pressed a finger into the glass, confirming that she hadn't missed a text before she slid it back into her pocket.
“Hey'a Sunny,” said a mostly cheerful voice. “Flash still a no-show?”
Sunset jumped a little at the nickname, but then smiled at the pretty baker hovering beside her booth in the confectionery-slash-coffee-slash-pastry shop she found herself in. Her long pink braid trailed to her thighs, and a company apron covered her simple pale pink blouse and dark blue jeans.
“Hey, Pinkie. Yeah, he still hasn't even texted. I wonder if he's still practicing, or if he just doesn't want to help me pick out a dress for his sister's wedding.” Leaning in, she stage-whispered conspiratorially, “I'm thinking he's still pretty confused on why she asked me to attend.”
Pinkie rolled her eyes.
“Oh, you know, it's definitely not because you saved her life three years ago during that last big evil thing at graduation.”
Sunset rolled her eyes are hard as she could, scoffing as she leaned back and struck a dismissing pose, before they both cracked up and started giggling at each other.
“He's just still kinda awkward around me. I get it,” Sunset said, waving a hand through the air. “I only went super evil bitch mode on him… a few times.”
“At least twice in the cafeteria,” Pinkie said thoughtfully, nodding to herself. “A few times in the hallways between classes… Oh, and-”

Actually taking the time to unlock her phone, she checked her messages and the time again. Nothing. Even as she was starting to put her phone away though, a chime announced a text.
Reading it quickly, she groaned and slapped her phone down. Her forehead followed soon after. “He talked his sister out of inviting me I guess,” she said, sliding her phone to Pinkie, “because she just sent me a message saying the venue got downsized or something.”
Sighing, she raised her head and rubbed gently at the now sore spot as Pinkie looked over the message, narrowing her eyes and opening her mouth.
“It's fine Pinkie,” she cut off, gently taking her phone back and making sure she hadn't broken it before sliding it back into her pocket. “I didn't really want to go, and besides, I just saved money on buying a dress I'd only wear once.”
“But it's still a party! No one likes being uninvited to a party.”
Pinkie glanced up at the clock, then around the mostly empty shop. “Hold on a sec, Sunny.”
Sunset watched Pinkie leave, shaking her head and smiling at one of her best friends. Probably the group's best friend, collectively. There was no one you could count on more to be there when you needed her, needed anyone. And besides, her hips...

“No tethering a daydreamer,” Sunset quipped, smiling at her friend for a moment before noticing something. “Won't your boss get mad if you're not wearing your apron?”
“Maybe, but I just got their permission to leave early,” Pinkie said. “I kinda thought that if you got uninvited to a wedding party, I could invite you to a Pinkie Party! At least, a Pinkie sleepover, like we used to do.”
Sunset snorted. “Pinkie, all of the girls came to your house a couple weeks ago for a sleepover.”
“Pfft, they all came over all right,” she said, a little sourly. Holding up her hands, she started counting off, “AJ left early to get enough sleep for her chores, Rarity left early to get started on a dress she'd forgotten about that was due the next day, Twilight couldn't even come because she was so busy with that collide-y thing, Rainbow didn't come because her team keeps her busy as well, and Fluttershy was so tired from the kennel that she was asleep by nine-thirty. Me and you just watched movies all night,” she said, finishing by throwing her hands into the air.
“Which was a ton of fun!” Sunset said, a slight laughter in her tone.
“Except we had to be quiet the entire time to let Fluttershy rest,” said Pinkie, crossing her arms and pouting.
Waving her hands, Sunset laughed and nodded. “Alright Pinkie, I give. Another movie night sounds fun, and we can even have it at my apartment so that there's no one to bother.”
“Awesome!” Pinkie yelled as she pumped an arm, then looked apologetically towards the counter. The pudgy woman behind it waved a hand at her, smiling absently as she worked with a customer.
“I'll bring the movies,” Pinkie said, stage whispering. “Yours are all… kind of the same.”
Sunset frowned. “So sue me, I like high fantasy.”
“Yeah, but those Dragonlance movies are awful,” Pinkie said, waving a hand through the air as though chasing away a bad scent.
Sunset raised her hand as though about to make a point, before shrugging and nodding. “As long as you don't only bring over horror movies again. I'm not the best with those, you know.”
Pinkie stared at her, suspiciously poker-faced.
Sunset narrowed her eyes at her friend.
Rolling her eyes, Pinkie whined, “But Sunny, you give the best hugs when you get scared!”
“You just like feeling me up,” Sunset accused, leveling a finger at Pinkie.
Blushing, Pinkie looked away and muttered something to herself before saying, “Fine, I'll bring over some movies that aren't scary. But,” she said, pointing at Sunset, “I'm bringing over at least one. Deal?”
Sunset pretended to think about it, before sticking out her hand. “Deal, I guess. Nothing too gory, though?”
“No promises,” Pinkie said, sliding her hand into Sunset's with a grin.
Both girls shivered as static discharged between their palms, and they quickly let go. After a minute of sitting awkwardly and staring at each other, Pinkie bugged her eyes out and stuck out her tongue, and both girls dissolved into giggles.
“Alright, on that note, I think I'll head home and clean up a bit.” Sunset stood and grabbed her phone off of the table, sliding it into a pocket. “See you there in an hour?”
Pinkie saluted her from the table, before hopping up and giving Sunset a quick hug as she ran into the back of the shop. Before she could walk out the door, Sunset was passed by a Pinkie now wielding a jacket against the cool night air and a large purse. She had enough time to walk to the door before she saw Pinkie's green hatchback, cautiously exiting onto the road.
Sunset almost laughed, remembering the first terrifying moment she'd gotten into a car with Pinkie, only to learn she was nearly as careful a driver as Fluttershy.

Sighing, Sunset turned around and waved her friend in while she marched back to the dryer, grabbing a thinly padded bra and pulling her shirt off. She kept her back to the doorway as she tugged the cloth over her shoulders, then clasped it behind her back.
She slipped the shirt back on to see Pinkie in the kitchen, still blushing, but now putting several bags on the counters.
“Like you've never seen them out in the open, Pinkie,” Sunset snorted, giggling when Pinkie dropped the box of cookies she was unpacking. “Everyone remembers that first sleepover.”
“Including Big Mac,” Pinkie giggled, leaning over and picking up the cookie box off the floor. “Never seen him looking as red as we did then.”
“His fault for running in on a room of shouting women,” she said, smiling grimly at the memory. “Couldn't look any of us in the eyes for the next three weeks, remember?”
“At least you were only topless at the time,” Pinkie pointed out, pulling out and shuffling the rest of their snacks on the counter. “There we go. Can I interest you in,” Pinkie took a breath, “cookies, brownies, cake, bonbons, truffles, cake pops, chocolate cherries, chocolate covered strawberries, chips, cheese-”
Laughing, Sunset snagged a personal-sized bag of chips and a soda. “I think I'll just grab stuff as I want it, Pinks. Thanks though,” she said, lightly hip-checking the other girl. “C'mon though, we're wasting time. Where's the movie bag?”
Pinkie looked around the counter, then frowned as she started lifting boxes.
Sunset tried to hide a slight smile as Pinkie started going through the clothes she'd brought. “Pinkie, did you get so excited about the snacks that you forgot the movies?”

Sighing, Pinkie pulled a small laptop out of the same backpack that currently had clothes spilling out the top of it. “I brought this, at least. Netflix?”
Sunset snorted and raised an eyebrow. “Pinkie Pie, everyone knows Netflix is for 'chilling',” she said, raising a hand to add the quotation marks. “I know you're into girls, but come on now.”
Blushing, Pinkie said, “I'm into guys too! And I've got… Hulu too...” She looked down and away. “Maybe I could go grab something from a rental place...”
Frowning, Sunset put down her snacks and gently pulled Pinkie into a hug. “Whoa there Pinks, I was just teasing. Did I go too far again?”
Sniffling a little, Pinkie wrapped her arms around Sunset and nodded into her shoulder. They hugged for a few moments, before Pinkie pulled away and swatted at Sunset's shoulder.
“Meanie,” she said sulkily, wiping at her face with her hands until Sunset handed her a napkin.
“I know. Sorry,” Sunset said, reaching over and grabbing a box of treats and offering them. “Cheese plate?”
Pinkie gave Sunset a tiny glare, before giggling and shaking her head. “No thanks. Really though, I can go get the movies real quick, if you want?”
“Nah, Netflix works for me.” She wiggled her eyebrows and shook her hips a little. “And hell, maybe some chilling does too,” she teased, laughing as she turned and walked into the living room.
“You're cruel!” Pinkie called from the kitchen.
“Nice enough to not care if you look at my chest!” she called back, giggling when she heard something hard hit the floor with a small curse. “There's more soda cans in the fridge!”

Pinkie came out of the bathroom half a minute later, her face slightly damp and her hair pulled back with a scrunchie. She seemed to have calmed down a bit, and laid casually on the bed. Carefully, she pressed her side against Sunset's, and resumed watching the tiny laptop.
They laid there in silence for the rest of the episode. Unable to hold her question in, Sunset spoke up during the next opening credits.

Sunset frowned, doing her best to put on a 'Thinking' face. “Well, that was a ton of fun,” she said, grin sliding onto her face. “And you are basically my best friend.” She leaned up, catching Pinkie's lips again before falling back onto the couch.
“Wanna go out with me?” Sunset asked, grinning.
“I think I'd love to,” Pinkie said, sniffling as she leaned over and wrapped her arms around Sunset, who returned the gesture eagerly.
Author's Note
Alright, the comment below has bothered me for two years now, and I'm done with just letting a rushed story sit here. When I first tossed this up, I'd had an earworm of sorts for months, and was just satisfied with getting it out. But that comment, saying how it could have been better had I not rushed the end, stuck with me.
So here's the edited version. You'll notice the first thousand and a half or so words roughly the same, with some small differences. After that though, I've completely deleted and reworked the story until it's become what it now is. I hope it can now live and breathe, up to everyone's standards. 
Party for Twenty-Twenty!
Sunset Shimmer sighed, tapping a finger against the tabletop as she looked up at the clock over the door leading outside. Frowning, she pulled out her slim cell phone and tapped a finger on the glass, confirming that she hadn't missed a text before she slid it back into her pocket.
“Hey'a Sunny,” said a cheerful voice, though tones of sadness echoed distantly. “Flash still a no-show?”
Sunset jumped a little at the nickname but then smiled at the pretty baker hovering beside her booth in the confectionery slash coffee slash pastry shop she found herself in. Her long pink braid trailed past her lovely hips to her thighs, and a company apron covered her simple pale pink blouse but not quite the straining bra straps.
“Hey, Pinkie. Yeah, he still hasn't even texted. I'm not sure if he's still practicing, or if he just doesn't want to help me pick out a dress for his sister's wedding.” Leaning in, she stage whispered conspiratorially, “I'm thinking he's still pretty confused as to why she asked me to attend.”
Pinkie rolled her eyes.
“Oh, you know, it's definitely not because you saved her life three years ago during that last big evil thing at graduation.”
Sunset rolled her eyes are hard as she could, scoffing as she leaned back and struck a dismissing pose before they both cracked up and started giggling at each other.
“Oh, he's just still kinda awkward around me. I get it,” Sunset said, waving a hand through the air. “I only went super evil bitch mode on him. A few times.”
“At least twice in the cafeteria,” Pinkie said thoughtfully, nodding to herself. “A few times in the hallways between classes… Oh, and-”
“Y-yeah, those times,” Sunset muttered, blushing and ducking her head into her phone to hide her expression. Even with how much she adored all the girls, Pinkie could still get on her nerves like no other could. The only redeeming factor in it was that there was no possible way she could mean it.
Actually taking the time to unlock her phone, she checked her messages, then the time again. Nothing. Even as she was starting to put her phone away though, a chime announced a text.
Reading quickly over it, she groaned and slapped her phone down, following it with her forehead. “He talked his sister out of inviting me I guess,” she said, sliding her phone to Pinkie, “because she just sent me a message saying the venue got downsized or something.”
Sighing, she raised her head and rubbed gently at the now sore spot as Pinkie looked over the message, narrowing her eyes.
“It's fine Pinkie,” she said, gently taking her phone back and making sure she hadn't broken the screen before sliding it back into her pocket. “I didn't especially want to go, and besides, I just saved money on buying a dress I'd wear once before shoving in my closet.”
“But it's still a party! No one likes being uninvited to a party.”
Pinkie glanced up at the clock, then around the mostly empty shop. “Hold on a sec, Sunny.”
Sunset watched Pinkie leave, shaking her head and smiling at one of her best friends. Probably the group's best friend, collectively. There was no one you could count on more to be there when you needed her, needed anyone. And besides, her hips...
“Sunset? Helloooooo?”
Sunset jumped a little, shaking her head and blushing. “Sorry Pinks, I got a little lost in my own mind.”
Pinkie slid into the booth opposite of Sunset, chuckling and nodding. “I still do that, too. You'd think a couple of years out of high school would fix that, but…” She shrugged, trailing off.
“No tethering a daydreamer,” Sunset quipped, smiling at her friend for a moment before noticing something. “Won't your boss get mad if you're not wearing your apron?”
“Maybe when I'm on shift, but I just got their permission to leave early,” Pinkie said. “I kinda thought that if you got uninvited to a wedding party, I could invite you to a Pinkie Party! At least, a Pinkie sleepover, like we used to do.”
Sunset snorted. “Pinkie, all of the girls came to your house a couple of weeks ago for a sleepover.”
“Pfft, they all came over all right,” she said, a little sourly. Holding up her hands, she started counting off, “AJ left early to get enough sleep for her chores, Rarity left early to get started on a dress she'd forgotten about that was due the next day, Twilight couldn't even come because she was so busy with that collide-y thing, Rainbow didn't come because her team keeps her busy as well, and Fluttershy was so tired from the kennel that she was asleep by nine-thirty.
"Me and you just watched movies all night,” she said, finishing by throwing her hand into the air.
“Which was a ton of fun!” Sunset said, a slight laugh to her tone.
“Except we had to be quiet the entire time to let Fluttershy rest,” said Pinkie, crossing her arms and pouting.
Waving her hands, Sunset laughed and nodded. “Alright Pinkie, I give. Another movie night sounds fun, and we can even have it at my apartment so that there's no one to bother.”
“Awesome!” Pinkie yelled as she pumped an arm, then looked apologetically towards the counter. The pudgy woman behind it waved a hand at her, smiling absently as she worked with a customer.
“I'll bring the movies,” Pinkie said, stage whispering. “Yours are all… kind of the same.”
Sunset frowned. “So sue me, I like high fantasy.”
“Yeah, but those Dragonlance movies are awful,” Pinkie said, waving a hand through the air as though chasing away a bad scent.
Sunset raised her hand as though about to make a point, before shrugging and nodding. “Yeah, I guess there was a reason they were selling the pack for ten bucks. As long as you don't bring over just horror movies again. I'm not the best with those, you know.”
Pinkie stared at her, suspiciously poker-faced.
Sunset narrowed her eyes at her friend.
Rolling her eyes, Pinkie whined, “But Sunny, you give the best hugs when you get scared!”
“You just like feeling me up,” Sunset accused, leveling a finger at Pinkie.
Blushing, Pinkie looked away and muttered something to herself before saying, “Fine, I'll bring over some movies that aren't scary. But,” she said, pointing at Sunset, “I'm bringing over at least one. Deal?”
Sunset pretended to think about it, before sticking out her hand. “Deal, I guess. Nothing too gory, though?”
“No promises,” Pinkie said, sliding her hand into Sunset's with a grin.
Both girls shivered as static discharged between their palms, and they quickly let go. After a minute of sitting awkwardly and staring at each other, Pinkie bugged her eyes out and stuck out her tongue, and both girls dissolved into giggles.
“Alright, on that note, I think I'll head home and clean up a bit.” Sunset stood and grabbed her phone off of the table, sliding it into a pocket. “See you there in an hour?”
Pinkie saluted her from the table, before hopping up and giving Sunset a quick hug as she ran into the back of the shop. Before she could walk out the door, Sunset was passed by a Pinkie now wielding a jacket against the cool night air and a large purse. She had enough time to walk to the door before she saw Pinkie's green hatchback, cautiously exiting onto the road.
Sunset almost laughed, remembering the first terrifying moment she'd gotten into a car with Pinkie, only to learn she was nearly as careful a driver as Fluttershy.
Looking at her sleek black bike, Sunset grinned as she thought, Much more my speed.

Fluffing her wet hair, Sunset tossed her towel over the curtain rod and wiped the fog from the mirror, snagging a nearby toothbrush out of a cup and looking at it for a moment.
There's no way she's not bringing snacks, Sunset thought as she replaced it and walked out of the bathroom, stark naked, and headed down the hallway into her laundry room. A set of rapid-fire knocks on the door made her jump, and her eyes scrambled to the clock on the mantle.
“One second Pinkie!” she called as she tore through her kitchen and into the little laundry nook, pulling a set of clean, pinkish pajama pants from the drier and pulling them on without looking at them. Grabbing the silky shirt, she pulled it on and buttoned it up while she jogged to the door. Leaving only the top button undone, she pulled the door wide and grinned at her friend.
“I see we meet again, Sunset's nipples,” Pinkie said, her face reddening but keeping a wide grin. She was already wearing a set of her own pajamas, a green t-shirt with white and green spotted pants that maybe hugged her hips too well.
Sighing, Sunset turned around and waved her friend in while she marched back to the dryer, grabbing a sports bra and pulling her shirt off. She kept her back to the doorway as she tugged the cloth over first her head, then her chest.
She slipped the shirt back on to see Pinkie in the kitchen, still blushing, but now putting several bags on the counters.
“Like you've never seen them out in the open, Pinkie,” Sunset snorted, giggling when Pinkie dropped the box of cookies she was unpacking. “Everyone remembers that first sleep-over.”
“Including Big Mac,” Pinkie giggled, leaning over and picking up the cookie box off the floor. “Never seen him looking as red as we did then.”
“His fault for running in on a room of shouting women,” she said, smiling grimly at the memory. “Couldn't look any of us in the eyes for the next three weeks, remember?”
“At least you were only topless at the time,” Pinkie pointed out, pulling out and shuffling the rest of their snacks on the counter. “There we go. Can I interest you in,” Pinkie took a breath, “cookies, brownies, cake, bonbons, truffles, cake pops, chocolate cherries, chocolate-covered strawberries, chips, cheese-”
Laughing, Sunset snagged a personal-sized bag of chips and a soda. “I think I'll just grab stuff as I want it, Pinks. Thanks though,” she said, lightly hip-checking the other girl. “C'mon, we're wasting time. Where's the movie bag?”
Pinkie looked around the counter, then frowned as she started lifting boxes and sifting through sacks.
Sunset tried to hide a slight smile as Pinkie started going through the clothes she'd brought. “Pinkie, did you get so excited about the snacks that you forgot the movies?”
“…Maaaaaaaaybeeeeeee...”
Sighing, Pinkie pulled a small laptop out of the same backpack that currently had clothes spilling out the top of it. “I brought this, at least. Netflix?”
Sunset snorted and raised an eyebrow. “Pinkie Pie, everyone knows Netflix is for 'chilling',” she said, raising a hand to add the quotation marks.
Blushing, Pinkie said, “I've got… Hulu... too...” She looked down and away, pulling the laptop to her chest. “I could go grab something from a rental place...”
Frowning, Sunset put down her snacks and gently pulled Pinkie into a hug. “Whoa there Pinks, I was just teasing. Did I go too far again?”
Sniffling a little, Pinkie wrapped her arms around Sunset and shook her head into her shoulder. They hugged for a few moments before Pinkie pulled away and swatted at Sunset's shoulder.
“No, I guess I got too into my own head,” she said sulkily, wiping at her face with her hands until Sunset handed her a napkin.
“Sorry?” Sunset said, reaching over and grabbing a box of treats and offering them. “Cheese plate?”
Pinkie gave Sunset a tiny glare, before giggling and shaking her head. “No thanks. Really though, I can go get the movies real quick, if you want?”
“Nah, Netflix works for me.” She wiggled her eyebrows and shook her hips a little. “And hell, maybe some chilling does too,” she teased, laughing as she turned and walked into the living room.
“You're being mean!” Pinkie called from the kitchen.
“I'm nice enough to not care if you stare at my ass!” she called back, giggling when she heard something hard hit the floor with a small curse. “There's more soda in the fridge!”

Sunset pulled out the bed in the sofa and pulled her little coffee table in front of it, setting up an area for the girls to lay on and stare at the laptop screen. She even threw some clean sheets onto the bed, to add to the coziness of the room.
Tossing her empty chips bag aside, Sunset flopped down and snagged a pillow to press under her chin as she lay flat on the bed. Frowning, she pressed in closer to Pinkie as she tried to get a better view of the show. “So, this guy has superpowers because some dude stuck him in a tank and electrocuted him?”
"Well, kinda," Pinkie said, dangling an arm over the top of the bed to grab a couple of pieces of the minty chocolate candies she'd brought in the bag. "The tank was full of Uberflownium, right, and the electricity attached it to his bones, right? And when it connects to his brain it lets him turn it off and on, right, so he can fly and shoot lasers and swords from his fingers and stuff. Cool, right?"
Sunset watched for another couple of moments, taking in the astonishing colors and noises coming from the little device.
"Yeah," she said, nodding as she reached for the candy box and stealing a drop from it.
Pinkie made a noise in her throat, letting Sunset know that she knew about the theft. Pinkie snorted when Sunset took that as an invitation to snag another, before dragging the box away from Sunny's searching fingers. Sunset let out a quiet whine before scooting closer to the other side and thus closer to the box.
Pinkie made a quiet psst-ing noise and shoo-d her hand at Sunset, exactly like a cat owner to their pet.
Sunset, of course, took offense and rolled away to gaze unbelievingly at the girl, who was trying not to giggle as she stared determinedly at the screen.
"Oh yeah?" she said.
Pinkie made the noise again and waved her left hand at Sunset, the right sneaking down to snag a chocolate and toss it into her mouth.
"Ah, I see," Sunset said, faking placidity and lowering herself a bit on her hands.
Pinkie gave her a worried look, like she was afraid she'd gone too far, but that quickly morphed into panic when Sunset shoved down against the thin mattress and pounced, launching herself into the air and coming down flat on top of Pinkie, whose scared Eeeee- transformed into a muted umpfh as Sunset landed on her back, pressing down on top of her friend as she shot her arm down Pinkie's and grabbed a piece of the candy and tossed it into her mouth.
"Ya like that?" Sunset asked, chewing on the candy as she (carefully, this was for fun and not, not a power play) pressed her triceps into the top of Pinkie's head.
"'S not too bad," came Pinkie's muffled reply, as Sunset let her lift her head out of the sheets. "Though your big, fat chest is big and fat."
Sunset cackled for a moment before leaning down and breathily whispering into Pinkie's ear, "You like it."
She felt Pinkie freeze up, and had just a moment to withdraw her head from beside Pinkie's before the girl on bottom shoved her hands into the mattress beneath herself and performed one of the best push-ups Sunset had the opportunity to be present for, launching the giggling girl into the air for two beats before Sunset found herself face-down on the bed, alone.
"GettingAnotherSnackOneSecond!" she heard trailing from the kitchen, over her own giggling.
"Get me something good!" she called imperiously, putting a bit of that special dark smolder into her tone that she'd spent so long practicing in her mirror.
A quiet squeaking let her know that her voice had carried, and she giggled again before reaching out to the laptop and rewinding the last three minutes of the show. It might have been hot garbage, but it was fun garbage, and she didn't want to be completely lost.
A few minutes later she finally heard Pinkie returning, and she glanced over to see her loaded down with what looked to be half of her spread. She snorted and paused the show before helping Pinkie move the table away to make space for the assorted bags and boxes. Lifting her arms up, she helped Pinkie with the least stable of the snacks, before checking their spacing as Pinkie set out the rest of them.
"D'ya want to go get the rest of them?" she joked, before laughing as Pinkie pranced back into the kitchen and did just that.
Sitting up, she helped Pinkie with laying out the rest of the snacks, before making room on the floor for the coffee table's legs. Scooting further over to the side she'd suddenly claimed, she snorted as she bounced a bit when Pinkie flopped back onto the bed, her hand flicking out and unpausing the show.
"Sweet or savory?" Pinkie asked, rustling through the bags on the floor.
"I find I'm usually pretty savory," Sunset said thoughtfully, giggling as Pinkie groaned and planted her face into the sheets.
The laughter trailed off though when Pinkie raised her face to give Sunset a tired look.
"Sorry."
Pinkie raised an eyebrow, and Sunset raised her palms in surrender.
"No really, I'll quit," she said, a finger crisscrossing over her chest a bit below her left collarbone. "Besides, a joke told and retold loses some of it's polish, right?"
They both smiled at one of Pinkie's first lessons for Sunset, before they gently relaxed back in front of the show, Sunset once again rewinding the last few action-packed minutes as their shoulders pressed against each other. She got it to a comfortable point and pressed play, her arm slowly falling to pull some caramel popcorn out of a crinkly bag.
Her hair stood up a bit when she felt a soft warmth against the back of her hand, but released the tension with a breath when the warmth withdrew and she heard a crunching beside her.
Taking her own kernel, she let the sugar dissolve off of the outside before gently crunching away the fluffy corn.

Sunset awoke with a groan, rolling over off her stomach and arching her back to a symphony of crackling pops. Raising her hand, she tried to shove some of her bangs out of the way. She couldn't quite suppress the second groan when her hand connected to her forehead and immediately deposited a sugary streak across it.
Glancing down, she squinted against the light trailing into her living room and found her fingers coated with some awful, congealed mass of sour gummies and broken potato chips.
She crawled out of the bed living room bed with only the thought of a shower in her mind.
After about five minutes of almost-too-hot water, she felt nearly human again (though the thought made her chuckle), and was awake enough to hear someone else enter the steamy room.
Oh right, Pinkie Pie's here.
There was a pause in thoughts.
I hope she doesn't flush while I'm in here.
Instead of the kinda gross sounds she expected to hear, she instead got the sound of some shuffling and a muted, "Ouch," and then the curtain was pulled aside by a fully nude Pinkie Pie, yawning widely.
Pinkie dropped her hand from her mouth and looked slightly up at Sunset, who was growing a slight but exceedingly wicked smile.
"Come here often?" she asked, turning to fully face her nude friend and cocking a hip to place a hand upon. She kept the smile for a moment, before dropping it as her friend's eyes just blinked vacantly. She pursed her lips and waited for another few moments, pushing the hip out a smidgen more.
Eventually, she sighed and dropped the pose, snapping a couple of times in front of Pinkie's face as she said, "Either hop in or close the curtain, you're letting the nice air out."
Blinking heavier, Pinkie shook her head a bit before her jaw dropped, letting out the most adorable little squeak, before she hid her face behind her hands and started chanting a very quiet but very empathetic apology.
Snorting, Sunset reached out and mussed her hair with a wet hand, getting the nude girl to at least stop the series of sorries.
"Pinkie Pie, ya gotta remember, I don't give a damn like other girls might," she said gently. "I did mean what I said though. You either have to hop in and join me, or close the curtain and wait your turn."
To her surprise, her friend lowered her hands and looked into the stream of hot water, biting her bottom lip.
Waiting another half a minute, Sunset laughed before reaching out and pulling her into the low tub, setting the plastic curtain back where it was before turning around and lifting the head of the shower so that it would, if not allow them both to soak completely, at least have enough area to get them both a little at the same time.
Spinning her friend so that her back was towards the head of the shower, Sunset pulled her a bit closer and started getting her hair wet, running her fingers slowly through the mat of pink to work out some of the tangles.
Pinkie let out a small noise when the water hit her, but otherwise was merely standing there stiffly while Sunset gently played with her hair in the water. Once Sunset started gently running her fingertips over her scalp, she let out a gentle sigh and relaxed a bit before tilting her head back to get more of the water over her scalp, lifting her hands to start stroking down through the mass of long ringlets.
"You know," she said, softly, "just because you're used to nudity and being naked doesn't mean everyone else has to be."
Sunset paused, her heart plummeting into her guts, before Pinkie sighed and reached over her head to gently grasp Sunset's wrists and brought them up to her shoulders while she straightened her back.
"Us humans, the born ones, give a lot more weight to ideas of sexuality and nudity than you ponies do, according to you," she said, moving her hands to hold onto Sunset's. "While nudity used to be just a fact of your life, it's not one of ours, Sunnybuns. I know it can be weird and easy to forget when all your friends try their best to play along and just tease right back, but being naked with another person usually means steamy thoughts for us."
She tilted her head back again and peeked over her shoulder, giving a small smile through her blush.
"It's supposed to be special, the first time you're naked with another person," she said firmly, before glancing away and leaning over to grab a bottle of shampoo.
Sunset was quiet for a while, just gripping onto Pinkie's shoulders. "Should I leave?" she eventually asked softly.
Pinkie snorted before holding the bottle over her shoulder.
"No, Sunset," she said, a bit of her old laughter ringing through her tone. "You should start getting this stuff in my hair, before the water gets cold."
Quietly she took the bottle, pouring a bit of it into her palm before snapping the pop-top lid closed on her hip and setting it back down. Grabbing the hair into a ponytail, she slid her hand over the length before using both hands to work the shampoo now applied into a lather.
Running her hands back over her friend's scalp, she gently worked the soap into the top of her head before running her fingers through the rest of it again, making sure to get everywhere within the curly confines of Pinkie's mane.
"So," she said, conversationally faking indifference, "on a scale of one to ten, how much did I screw up?"
Pinkie sighed, before she took a step back to start rinsing her head off, both hands coming up to run through the hair on her scalp while Sunset lowered hers to work through the hair at her shoulder-blades.
"Honestly Sunny, for anyone else? Like, a seven, up to a nine."
Sunset winced, pulling Pinkie's hair away from her back to get the shampoo hiding there.
"For me?" she continued, thoughtfully. "Like, initially an eight, but right now you're down to like a two."
Sunset sighed, relaxing a bit. She could recover from a two.
"My head massaging skill just that good, huh?" she said, reaching down to snag the conditioner and putting her shoulder against the small of Pinkie's back in the process.
She shivered a bit, but otherwise just reached down for a body-wash and cracked its top.
"No, Sunset," she said, with a small smile still playing around on her lips. "But it's not bad either, I guess, so keep going. The reason you've dropped down to a two," she said, looking over her shoulder again and giving her a relieved grin, "is because you've yet to say or do anything I wouldn't like you to. You haven't touched my butt or anything, and we all know you're a flanks kind of girl."
Sunset quickly said, "Hey!" but when she went to continue, found she didn't have anything to say. Floundering for a moment, she said, "Yeah alright," with a smug smile. After a moment, she adopted a severe frown.
"Hey though, actually, I would never touch you while you're feeling this vulnerable, not without your permission. I may joke around and make a ton of tit jokes, but I'm not gonna just go and grab you when you've just told me that I've forced you to do something you're not good with. I'm not that shitty about boundaries," she said, giving a couple of moments pause before quietly asking, "Am I?"
Pinkie gave a small giggle before asking, "Remember that last time we were in the locker room after the band practice where Twilight decided to prank us by setting up a trap to drop balloons of chocolate pudding on us when we opened up our lockers, and when we had to get into the showers you honked Rarity's boob and asked how much it cost her in material to cover them?"
Sunset snorted, holding one of her wrists up to her lips to hold the sound in before getting back to working conditioner into Pinkie's hair. "Alright, but that was on purpose, and it was also the only thing I did to make her uncomfortable. I didn't honk the other one after, remember? I went back to my stall and washed down like I was supposed to, no more honks or slaps or anything."
Running her hands over her shoulders to lather them, Pinkie glanced at Sunset with an 'are-you-serious' look.
"Sunset, that's the same set where you pinched my butt and asked if I could share 'some of what you got bakin' back there,'."
Sunset stopped massaging Pinkie's hair, her head dipping as she pressed a hand to her forehead and frowned at the floor of the tub. After a few moments, she sighed and got back to cleaning Pinkie's head.
"Buck, you guys must hate hanging out with me," she muttered.
Pinkie immediately spun around, a perfect half-circle, her eyes narrowing and her mouth dipping into a frown.
Sunset instinctively glanced down, taking in half a second of Pinkie's generously soaped generosities, before her soapy hands reached out and took Sunset's jaw and made sure that they were gazing into each other's eyes.
"Sunset Shimmer," she said, deadly serious and looking ready to be deadly, "you could almost certainly never, ever make any of your friends so uncomfortable that we would leave your side without saying anything to you." Her eyes softened as she gave her friend a gentle, near angelic smile. "That's what I did, Sunset, is say something. We won't walk away from you."
Sunset's eyes widened as she listened to Pinkie, slowly getting wider and wider, before at the end she started blinking heavily and sniffled once before reaching out and grabbing Pinkie around the small of her back and pulling her into a fierce hug, sniffling again and pressing her face into the sweet-smelling hair that still had soap in it.
Pinkie slowly melted into the hug, wrapping her own arms around her friend's shoulders and patting her back gently. "Sunset?" she said softly.
"Hmm?"
"Your boobs are, like, all over mine."
"Hmm." She sniffled, before leaning back. "Oh. Sex thing?"
Pinkie snorted and rolled her way up to a giggling fit. "It's a sexy thing, yeah," she said through the giggles, patting Sunset's hip before glancing down for a half-second, blushing, and turning around. "C'mon though, this stuff's been in my hair for a while now."
Sniffling and smiling, Sunset got on with helping Pinkie with her hair, before rubbing her back down with the soap that Pinkie had already rinsed off of her front. She paused when her hands trailed into the gentle curve at the bottom end of Pinkie's back, before running back up to her shoulders and rubbing down her sides, much to the giggling of her friend.
"Thanks for not touching my butt, but you're tickling me," Pinkie said while slapping lightly at Sunset's hands. "Turn around and start on yourself, while I finish up over here," she said while handing her own soap.
Sunset nodded, turning around and squeezing a handful out of the bottle before setting it back down on the shelf the tub had for such things before getting started on rubbing the cleaner into her collar, then down her arms, then over her chest and stomach.
"So, was this a normal thing for you?"
Sunset hummed, jumping a bit when a soapy hand started lathering her damp hair. "Normal for given groups of ponies," she said, using her soapy hands to reach around and start cleaning her haunches.
"Having a family tub was a normal thing in earth pony groups since it's pretty hard to reach certain places with your own hooves. Pegasi have ways to heat the water in clouds, so they mainly take showers. The unicorns who didn't care much or felt they didn't have the time to bathe have a couple of spells for cleaning and deodorizing, but I always liked taking baths.
"Hot springs are fairly prevalent throughout the region as well, so we've got a few places where communal bathing is the norm. Like those animatic things that Rarity likes so much."
"Anime," Pinkie said with a giggle.
"Yeah," Sunset said with a nod, giving a slight shiver when Pinkie ran her hand up her spine just a touch too softly. "Those cartoons actually had me looking in Japanese culture a bit. We don't have a lot of other parallels, but the bathing is really familiar."
They moved in silence for a moment, the conversation gone to its natural conclusion, and their showering not quite finished. Pinkie quickly broke it though.
"Hey, how low are you washing up there!?"
Sunset moved her hands with a small jump. "What, do you not-?"
"Yes!" Pinkie interrupted, Sunset glancing back to find her blushing scarlet. "But that's why I asked you to turn around! I didn't want you watching while..."
Sunset let her stand in silence for a moment, before raising her hands.
"Sex thing?"
Pinkie flushed and clapped her hands over her face, but Sunset could hear the giggles leaking from between her palms.
"Sunny, have you... Have you not...?"
Sunset turned around to face the girl stuttering behind her, taking the opportunity to reach back and rinse her hair.
"What, had sex?" She asked. "Not here."
Pinkie coughed a little at her abruptness. "You haven't done, like, anything?" Pinkie asked.
"Well, I don't have a horn anymore, so I can't really do anything with just myself," she said, running her fingers through her hair to make sure all the soap was out. "Haven't really had any interest in getting one of those rubber schlongs, seems kind of weird to me."
Pinkie lowered her hands enough to peer over them at Sunset.
"You haven't tried your hands?"
Sunset snorted. "You know how hard hooves are? You don't want one of those anywhere... near..."
She stopped talking, bringing a hand up to hover right in front of her chest, staring at it.
Pinkie reached out and softly ran her fingertips over Sunset's, giggling. "Seems pretty soft, Sunnybuns," she said, raising an eyebrow at the woman standing under the stream of hot water.
After another minute of silence, Sunset sighed and said, "Well Celestia damn it."
Pinkie burst into her trademark full-lunged laughter before reaching forward and patting Sunset's shoulder. "No wonder all of the teasing you do is flirty," she giggled. "You haven't had any for, what, six years?"
Pinkie kept giggling as Sunset groaned loudly and clapped her hands over her face, dragging them down and making a face at Pinkie.
"It never even occurred to me," she moaned, before sighing and grabbing the bottle of conditioner. "So, how-" she started to ask, popping the top of the bottle before freezing and glancing at Pinkie Pie. "I'm guessing asking how you do it is a bit too far?"
Pinkie choked half-way through a giggle, and Sunset sighed while nodding.
"Yeah, looks like that's right." She frowned, looking down at her little tuft of fuzz right between her hips. "Ugh, but I don't want to watch some other lady I don't know teach me," she said, reaching down and scratching the top of her patch lightly. "Bad enough I had to watch that lady teach me how to groom and stay clean, you know?"
She sighed and looked up into Pinkie's blush, her eyes following Sunset's hand.
"Oh, sorry," Sunset said, dropping her hands to her side and standing upright, before scratching awkwardly at the back of her head. "Uhm, that wasn't teasing, just social blindness?"
Pinkie's blush got a bit darker, and she bit her bottom lip gently.
"No, it's alright, I know," she said, before sighing and whispering something under her breath. "Hey, I need to get to work soon, probably, but last night was a ton of fun. Do you," she hesitated, glancing at the bottom of the tub, "do you wanna do it again tonight?"
"Oh, uhm, sure?" Sunset said, a little off-balance from the non-sequitur. "Uh, movie night again?"
Pinkie smiled and nodded, before reaching out and gently switching places with Sunset to rinse off under the shower-head before squeezing her hair gently and moving the curtain aside.
"Uh, towels are in the little closet," Sunset said, reaching a hand out of the back side of the shower and tapping the small door.
She heard the door open and clatter closed, and she had just enough time to rinse off the rest of herself before the bathroom door opened and gently closed. Whisking the curtain aside, she gave the door a weird look, wondering what had gotten into Pinkie while she fetched her own clean towel.
She was about halfway through drying herself down before Pinkie poked her head through the door, blushing a bit as Sunset kept drying the leg she had propped on the sink.
"Hey, I'm taking off," she said with a small smile. "See you after my shift?"
"Oh, yeah," Sunset said, dropping her foot to the floor and covering her front for Pinkie's sake. "I have a shift at the garage too, so you should use your key if you get here first. What should I grab from the rental place?"
Pinkie's face went conspicuously masked, and she used a very even and flippant tone when she said, "Oh, I'll leave you a list. Since we were talking anime, you wanna give some of that a try?"
Sunset's eyes narrowed at her, and she dropped her towel to place a hand on her hip, cocked it, then raised an eyebrow.
"You know how I feel about scary stuff," she said, raising the other hand with a single finger pointing at Pinkie's nose. "I'll get one of your suggestions, you terrible thing, and if we get to it, it will be the last one. Deal?"
Pinkie's eyes dipped with the towel, but the blush was less pronounced this time, and she only smiled. "Deal," she said, before waggling the fingers of her left hand through the door and closing it.
Sunset snorted, picking up the towel and finishing drying herself off before she walked out of the bathroom and into her bedroom, grabbing a set of pastel shorts and sliding them on before sliding a pair of heavily grease and oil-stained jeans on over them, noting with a sigh that the hips and ass pockets were wearing thin. A sports bra was quickly followed by a simple white work-shirt. On the way out the door she stopped by the coat hooks drilled into the wall and grabbed her leather jacket and her motorcycle keys, glancing at the paper listing ten names Pinkie had hooked onto the main loop before snorting and shoving it into a breast pocket and zipping it closed.
Two sets of stairs later, she unlocked her seat and slipped on the helmet inside, tightening it down and zipping up her jacket after she hopped onto her bike, and zoomed off down the street.

Sunset sighed as she parked her bike for the second time today, rolling her shoulders to relax some of the tension out of them. They'd been training a new guy today, one of those young teen wanna-be 'Alpha' males who thought he knew everything without ever actually holding a socket wrench.
She'd spent most of today tearing him down, and if he showed up tomorrow, she could work on helping him to be an actual adult.
For now though, she locked her helmet below her seat and walked into the small video rental store.
Looking around at the white cases holding stacks of shiny plastic cases, she quickly discovered that she was the only one in the store beside the attendant, who barely glanced up from her book before dropping her eyes back down.
Sunset glanced around again, looking at the signs they had over their sections, before pulling Pinkie's list out of her pocket and glancing down at it. She frowned down at the foreign names.
"Help you?"
She jumped a bit and glanced at the attendant, who was eyeing the crumpled paper and putting her book face-down on the counter.
"You got one of those lost looks," the girl said, reaching up and tucking a lost lock of long braids behind an ear. "Your boyfriend send you after some smut or something?"
Sunset immediately scoffed out loud, before covering her mouth with a hand.
"Uh, sorry, no. One of my friends and I are having a movie night and she gave me a list to grab, but they're foreign flicks and I'm not sure where to look."
The attendant straightened a book with a curious twinkle in her eyes, cocking an eyebrow and holding out a hand.
With a shrug, Sunset moved closer and held out the list to the sitting girl.
As soon as she glanced at the first few titles, the lady looked up and grinned at Sunset. "Ah, so she's one of those friends," she said, before getting off her stool and stretching her back. "You want all of these? A couple of them are pretty bloody."
Sunset flinched.
"Knew it," Sunset whispered before saying, "Maybe, like, one of them?"
The attendant snorted and laughed, before looking at the list again.
"Tell you what," she said, smiling at Sunset. "Because I like these movies, and you're a cutie, I'll give you my employee discount and grab you Uzumaki, Perfect Blue, and Parasite Eve. You'll have a great time, they're not too bloody," she said, before sailing away between the aisles before Sunset could do more than blush.
The attendant returned from the far side of the store with three slim cases and quickly scanned them, along with the back of her name-tag, before placing them in a paper bag while Sunset slipped a paper bill from her wallet. She made the change in her register and slipped the money into the bag, before holding it out to Sunset with a wink.
Blushing, Sunset thanked her with a small stutter and slipped out of the store, placing the bag under her seat as she slipped her helmet on quickly and started up the bike.
It was a quick four minutes to her apartment complex, and she took a moment to glance at the cases for the movies she'd rented. She made a confused face at the green and spiral-covered first case, glancing at the case that just sort of had three faces on the front with the movie's name, then at the last movie with a half-dressed cartoon girl on it.
As she was shuffling the cases a white slip of paper fell out from between them, and Sunset quickly snatched it out of the air. On one side was the rental store's info, but when she flipped it over she found ten digits with two dashes on the back.
Staring at it, her brain hiccuped before telling her it was probably a phone number. She silently said 'Oh,' before she felt her face flush again. She quickly shoved the card in her jacket pocket and grumbled her way up the stairs, unlocking the door and throwing her jacket on the hooks next to it along with her keys.
"Pinkie Pie?" she called out to the apartment.
She heard a small squeak from her living room before a small voice called, "In here Sunny!"
Cocking her head to the side, her eyebrows furrowed as she walked down the tiny hallway and glanced into the room, staring at the couch across the room from her TV set beside the door.
Sitting in the middle of a perfectly cleaned living room, in the middle of a cleaned couch, Pinkie Pie sat in a fluffy blue bathrobe, her bare feet bouncing up and down on the carpet while her hands loosely clenched the robe over her knees. Her face was a bright pink, enough to almost match her hair.
Sunset tilted her head again, before leaning against the doorway and crossed one foot over the other, right eyebrow lifting.
"You look comfy," she said, her eyebrows touching over her questioning smile.
"Thank you," Pinkie said with a giggle, before standing up and smoothing the material over her stomach. "Do you, uh, remember this morning? When you were going to ask h-ho-ow I muh-muh-muh-mast-"
She stopped, her torso almost quivering as she shivered and took a deep breath.
"You were going to ask how to masturbate?"
Confused and blushing a bit, Sunset slowly nodded.
"Well," Pinkie said, before untying the belt and reaching up to grab the shoulders of the robe, pinching them and pulling the fabric back and down so that it flowed over her own shoulders and down to her elbows, parting from over her body.
Sunset nearly choked on her own air as she took in Pinkie's clothes, two skimpy tubes of cloth barely covering her breasts and waist. What was there was thin and black, with curling and curving lace roses covering her nipples and little else, while a small skirt thing hugged around her hips, showing the sides while masking what she could have seen from the front.
Her tummy was cute and soft with a tiny bit of pudge threatening to spill over the top of the lingerie, while her breasts threatened to spill over the top. While the bottoms hugged her hips pleasantly (very pleasantly, Sunset noted), the top looked to be at least half a size too small.
"Well, I thought that, if you wanted," Pinkie said, before swinging out her left hip that reminded Sunset of herself, "I coul-could show you?"
Sunset had about half a minute of blank staring (hard staring) before she raised her arm to say something.
Unfortunately, the arm she raised was leaning against the wall, dangling after Pinkie's reveal, and when she raised it she rotated her shoulder behind the door-frame. Slipping, she smashed the side of her head against the frame before falling the rest of the way to the floor.
"Sunset!" she heard Pinkie squeak through the haze a moment before her swimming vision blurred, and she was looking up at Pinkie's concerned face.
"Tha' was so smooth," she tried to say, wincing at the end and touching the side of her face.
Pinkie looked down at her another moment, concern mixing with humor, before she giggled and gently touched her face as well, moving Sunset's hand away to see beneath it. "Ouchy," she said lightly, before straightening up and walking away.
Sunset stayed where she was, blinking a bit up at the ceiling light, before Pinkie returned and gently pressed a very cold bag onto her face.
"I found some peas in your freezer, they should help the swelling. You're lucky there's no cuts or anything," Pinkie said gently, her hand lingering on the bag as Sunset raised hers and laid her fingers over the top of Pinkie's. "You big doofus, what were you even saying?" she asked.
"I don' remember," Sunset muttered, wincing at the cold. "Somethin' about you bein' drop-dead gorgeous, though. And sexy, for sure."
Pinkie started laughing, her signature deep belly laugh, and Sunset grinned up at her until it hurt too much.
"You're so silly," Pinkie said, wiping away the tears and trying to contain her laughter. "I know you're still more into ponies than humans, so you don't have to-"
Sunset grunted and raised a finger to Pinkie's lips, shushing her the entire time. "Pinkie, Pinkie Pie," she said, opening her eyes (one of which was starting to swell, that wouldn't be fun). "You are top tier, and that's according to Rarity, Rainbow, and AJ, so please believe me when I say that not only do I know you're bucking beautiful, so do so many other people. Bucking, Pinkie Promise," she said, going through the motions until she got to the part where she would stick her fist into her eye. "Uh, maybe I'll skip that part this time," she muttered, before she looked back up at Pinkie.
Sunset blinked as the first swelling drop fell from Pinkie's eyes, and her eyebrows screwed themselves up as she looked up into Pinkie's grinning, teary face.
"You girls are all so sweet," she said, her voice not trembling for the first time since Sunset got home. "And I love you all so, so much," she said, dropping her gaze to one of Sunset's baseboards. "But, uhm, I have been maybe waiting a little for someone to make a move, and you got close enough this morning. So I hope...?" She trailed off, looking bashfully away.
"Oh, you could've jumped me any time," Sunset said, surprised at how true the words slipping out of her mouth were. A thought occurred to her, and she asked, "Are you wanting to work your way through us then?"
"No!" Pinkie yelped, flinching a bit and looking down at Sunset, her eyes wide and her pupils tiny. "No, no," she said, shaking her head and swiping at her eyes with the back of a hand. "While, uhm, I wouldn't mind, necessarily, I don't have any plans for anything," she said, glancing down from Sunset's face to her collarbones.
"Oh," Sunset said, before wincing and slowly levering herself up with an arm and finding the half-naked girl sitting in her lap. Smiling a bit, she grabbed Pinkie by the hip and pulled her along as Sunset spun to place her own back to the wall. "Can I ask who you were most hoping for?"
Pinkie giggled a little as Sunset pulled her along, settling a bit more onto her seat of Sunset's thighs, before she bit her lip. "Uhm, well... Honestly?" Pinkie giggled nervously when Sunset nodded. "Well, probably you, honestly. AJ fell off the radar as soon as I found out she's probably my cousin, Flutters and Rarity have their own thing and I didn't want to mess with their dynamic, Rainbow's straight, and Twilight's ace.
"You were definitely the easiest mark," she giggled, gently pressing her finger against the tip of Sunset's nose. She bit her lip gently before asking, "What about you?"
"Oh, well, I haven't given it a lot of thought," she said, blinking up at the ceiling. "I was bi back in Equestria, so I guess that translates. Uhm, I'd probably go AJ, you, Flutters, Rarity, Dash, Twi?" she said, squinting her eyes. "But that's off the top of my head." She glanced down into Pinkie's eyes. "Uh, sorry, the whole cowgirl thing. Y'know?"
Pinkie giggled and nodded. "Yeah, I get it."
"Oh, but speaking of cute girls," Sunset said, looking up at her jacket and reaching a hand to claw inside the pocket. "Damn," she said grunted quietly before switching pockets, reaching inside and finding the crumpled number. "Don't think I need this now," she said, presenting the card to Pinkie.
Pinkie took it, looking curiously over the name of the store, before flipping it over, her eyes widening as she giggled.
"Oh wow, was my taste in movies that good?" she said, before handing the card back towards Sunset.
Sunset snorted as she took the piece of paper and tossed it into the kitchen, towards her trash can. "Don't need it," she said, before setting her hand heavily on Pinkie's hip.
After a moment, she gave the other girl a sharp smile and gently squeezed the flesh there before playing absently with the cloth under her fingers.
"So, I heard there might be a show tonight?" she murmured, before giggling at Pinkie's renewed blush.
The giggles lasted all of a couple of moments before she let out a sharp, quiet hiss and pressed the peas a little more firmly to her face with a pout.
"Do you want to wait for tomorrow night?" Pinkie asked, her hands slowly coming to settle on Sunset's mostly flat stomach. "I was thinking that the show was going to, uhm, have audience participation?" she said with a flickering smile that ultimately stuck into a grin. "But I don't want to hurt you-"
Pinkie squeaked when, with a quick straightening of her arm, Sunset flung the bag of frozen veggies into the kitchen.
"I'm good," Sunset said, trying for a wide grin before settling for a smaller one after a wince. "No need to worry about me, I'll be a-okay and am ready for, uh, a show?" she rambled, her own blush starting to grow near the end when her mind realized what exactly her mouth was asking for.
Pinkie stared down at Sunset for a moment, her eyes only slightly wider with her lips barely parted, before she let her head roll back and laughed again, leaning back far enough that Sunset panicked and grabbed her sides to steady her, the digits sinking a bit into the soft love-handles.
Sunset bit her lip a bit as she waited for Pinkie to calm down enough to share what she was so tickled by.
"Well, luckily for you that's only the third most awkward way I've ever been asked to get naked for somebody," she said eventually, wiping at her eyes as the laughter subsided.
"Third?" Sunset asked, cocking her head.
"I used to hang around certain online sites," Pinkie said, flicking away the tears on her hand before reaching out and wrapping her arms slowly around Sunset's neck and pulling her in close. "But we're not here to talk about twelve-year-olds on the internet screaming at me to take my shirt off."
Somewhere else in time and space, Spike sneezed and looking vacantly around the computer desk he was sitting at.
"We're here to talk about you wanting to take your own shirt off, I think?" Pinkie said, squeezing Sunset close enough to nestle her chin among barely clothed breasts.
"I was promised a show," Sunset murmured, wrapping her arms around the other girl's waist and pulling her closer, holding her tightly. "We can go through my own clothes after I think. Besides, you still need to teach me how to, uhm, do anything with my hands?" she said, letting said hands spread and press against Pinkie's lower back.
Pinkie giggled. "Excuses, excuses," she said in a sing-song, before pulling away a bit.
Sunset pouted until Pinkie's hands slid up, over her shoulders, and onto both sides of her jaw. She bit her lip for a moment when Pinkie lifted her face, but released it when Pinkie slowly leaned forward, her tresses starting to tickle Sunset's.
Their first kiss was a warm, exploratory experience, lips caressing as their short breaths mingled under their noses.
Pinkie leaned back for half an instant, licking her lips, before throwing herself back into a new kiss, now more daring, with a touch of tongue-tip along Sunset's lower lip. Sunset quickly responded, her own tongue peeking shyly from between her lips and pressing into Pinkie's, tracing a circle and pressing directly against the foreign tip.
Pinkie broke away, taking a quick gasp of air before letting a giggle loose and leaning her forehead against Sunset's.
"Sorry," Sunset said as she recovered her breath. "Was that weird? Your tongues aren't as flat as I'm used to," she said with a small smile and a wrinkle between her eyebrows.
Pinkie leaned back and giggled as she pushed her fingertip onto Sunset's nose. "Everyone kisses differently, silly," she said with a happy sigh. "You did just fine, for me. But we're not supposed to be making out on the entryway floor, now are we?"
"I'm not complaining," Sunset grumbled, gazing up as Pinkie pushed herself onto her feet before offering a slender hand out. She took the offered hand, getting to her feet and reaching out to touch Pinkie's sides.
Laughing, Pinkie danced away and took Sunset's outstretched hands, pulling her into the living room and towards the couch before gently pushing her down onto the middle cushion.
"Comfy?" She asked, spreading her feet so that she could stand with her shins to the couch, her knees on either side of Sunset's.
"Getting comfier," Sunset said, leaning forward and gently running her hands up Pinkie's legs, to her hips.
Pinkie hummed, placing her hands on Sunset's shoulders for balance as the other girl ran her fingers up from her calves again before reaching a finger into the waistband of the skirt and letting it snap back into place. Pinkie giggled and leaned over to lay a kiss on Sunset's upturned face before taking a couple of swaying steps back, Sunset's hands lingering on her hips before falling to her knees.
"Now, how interactive exactly would you like this to be?" Pinkie asked, her hips swaying back and forth like a pendulum as she trailed her fingertips up from her hips, along her sides, and across the tube of her bra.
Sunset glanced up at the smiling, teasing, blushing face of Pinkie Pie, swaying back and forth slowly as she trailed her fingers along her skin, putting herself fully out for Sunset, trusting in her.
So Sunset decided to return the trust, the vulnerability.
"I, uhm, don't think I ever want to stop touching you," she said, holding her hands out horizontally, inviting the girl before her with empty palms.
Pinkie's slow swaying paused, and her blush grew as her hands stopped stroking her sides and joined together just over her belly button, fingers entwining as her gaze dropped to the floor before tracing over to the blank television.
"Oh," she said softly, before smiling and looking bashfully over at Sunset. "Yeah?" she asked, breathing a bit quicker than before.
Sunset didn't respond verbally, just curled her fingers towards her a couple of times.
Pinkie grinned and took a couple of more large, swaying steps, once again ending with her legs straddling across Sunset's. This time, though, Sunset gently pulled at the backs of her knees until Pinkie let herself be pulled onto the couch, her soft thighs resting on Sunset's firmer ones.
"You know, I'm supposed to be the sweet one," Pinkie huffed with a pout that quickly broke when Sunset ran her palms over Pinkie's sides before sliding up behind her to pull Pinkie closer and into Sunset's waiting lips.
They settled there, quickly creating a rhythm between deep lip-locks and smaller nips along the other's neck and jaw, their hands traveling over the safer areas they could reach before Sunset took a chance and ran her thumb underneath the fringe of Pinkie's lacy skirt while kissing along her collar.
Panting, they both paused, Pinkie running her hands through the long back of Sunset's hair to keep her face on Pinkie's flesh, before Sunset murmured something into her neck and slowly ran the skirt higher and higher up the girl's thigh, Pinkie letting out her first muffled moan before leaning forward to kiss Sunset's neck just below an ear, whispering encouragements as Sunset's other hand rolled the skirt up the left side of Pinkie's hip.

Sunset hesitated, but Pinkie reached down and grabbed something that was between them before pulling it away and tossing it to the side. Sunset recognized the cloth by its shape, and realized Pinkie was literally half-nude now.
Slowly, so slowly, she reached further back from the hips she was handling and cupped two handfuls of the softest substance she'd ever known.
Pinkie let out a noise between a hum and a grunt, before leaning forward and rolling her hips back.

Pinkie snickered before raising her arms, one hand gently coming to press against Sunset's lip to take the cloth up and tossing it away, following the trajectory of the panties earlier.
