Chaos: An old force, primal and eldritch; chaos is by it's nature uncontrollable, if you try to subdue it, it only takes new forms.
Discord is... tired. Equestria has gotten boring and having been turned to stone for the second time, he decides to leave it behind. Of course, he'll need a successor, a creature to which chaos comes naturally.
