You can teleport to multiple places extremely quickly using very little magic. That is what this spell does. Find an area, and teleport to random spots around it, and leave a flag at each spot you end up in. wonderful. Ok, now teleport to each flag and count how long you can keep on doing this until you get tired, we can’t go and have you drop dead from exhaustion. I learnt that mistake. When you’re all rested, start doing it again, and do this for at least 9 months. at the ninth month, take away the flags and do it. you should be able to go to the spots automatically with barely much power.

Why? Well, you’ve left an ‘imprint’ with your magic. A footstep in the snow if you will. You can now go to those spots with little effort. You can do this in your home town/city/whatever and may never need to walk around again. with more and more practice you can teleport from Yakyakistan to Canterlot with some effort, but not as much as normal. You should be able to detect your magical signature whenever you get close to a teleport hot spot of yours, so you’ll be able to know how to fast travel through them, like portals!
