Yes, ponies do use this spell, but, not to this advanced level. Most unicorns know some basic illusory spells, such as image projection for entertaining or soft-step spells for quieting one’s hoofsteps… but did you know there is so much more you can do with it? yes, my dear reader, there is SO much more to this little spell than I think you realise.

I ask you to caste a perfect illusion of yourself, a very well-practised illusion. take a mental image of your surroundings, trust me, it’s important. Now, wear the illusion. Have it surround you like a second skin, and then change it to look like the surroundings. You are no invisible. Oh Sombra, it can’t be that simple, but I’m afraid it sort of is. For beginners, there will be a sort of very faint wave around you. you know, like when you see heat rise from tarmac, and it is very faulty when you move or if you do it to more than one person.

But once you master it? there is much more you can do my little readers. It’s an invisibility spell at this point, and with enough power and precision, you could possibly hide an entire city from view. Then you could even duplicate yourself in order to confuse an enemy. As you’re very precise, it would look like you’ve cloned yourself! I did this to the Princess once, and it was a blast.

That’s not all though. The spell is very closely related to the invasive telepathy, causing your targets to experience uncontrollable anger or paralysing fear with a rather simple spell. It is very potent, especially since the master of this spell is Discord. In fact, he’s the creator of this next spell that I’ve improved upon… a spell which makes the Princess’ tremble.
