Principal Celestia let out a frustrated groan as she stared at the two files before her. Two photographs stared back at her with equally cocky grins. They belonged to the current sources of her growing headache. Namely Rainbow Dash and Lightning Dust. These two were driving Celestia up the wall. Both girls were incredibly competitive and driven to be the schools number one athlete.
Normally Celestia would encourage their drive to excel. But these two had developed a rivalry that quickly escalated into a full blown feud. It had started small, with them trying to one-up the other. Then the first pranks happened. It started out harmless enough, but soon it had devolved into outright sabotage, and more recently into full physical brawls. The latest of which had laid waste to the cafeteria when the rest of the student body got pulled into the conflict, and it turned into a giant food fight.
This led to Celestia’s current dilemma. She had no idea what to do with those two. Detention meant little to them. Even temporary suspension had done little to temper their… well.. tempers. Frankly she was at the end of her rope. Another frustrated groan escaped her lips as she massaged her temples in a futile attempt to ward off the encroaching headache. Just then her office door opened with a quiet click.
“You will be glad to know that the cafeteria has been cleaned up and is back in business. Granny Smith was none to pleased with the whole situation I might add.” Said Vice Principal Luna.
“Thank you, Luna.” Celestia replied with a sigh.
“Have you decided what to do with our two instigators yet?” she said as she closed the office door and stepped up to the desk.
Celestia shook her head. “No. Frankly I’m at a loss, sister. These two seem determined to tear strips out of each other, and I’m running out of options, short of expelling one or both of them.”
Luna leaned against the desk, silently staring at the two images in the files as she mulled over the problem.
“Let me handle this, sister.” she said finally, stepping back from the desk.
“What?” was Celestia’s distracted reply. Her face a pained grimace.
“Give me carte blanche on how to deal with them, and I promise you I will handle it.”
“Luna, what are you scheming?” she said, giving her a suspicious glance.
“The less you know the better. That way nobody can blame you if there is any fallout. However, given the nature of these two, I don’t think there will be any.”
“I don’t know.” Celestia said uncertainly.
“Have a little faith, sister. If anyone knows how to deal with problematic students it’s me. I speak from experience after all.” she said with a shrug of her shoulders.
“That’s what worries me.”
Luna just stared pointedly at her until Celestia finally relented.
“Fine, you can deal with them. I’m going home early and take some aspirin. My head is killing me.”
...
Luna’s office was a modest, dimly lit space, dominated by the large desk she sat behind. There wasn’t much else in the room besides a file cabinet, two chairs, and a potted plant in the corner. Perhaps the oddest item in the room was a stuffed animal that resembled an opossum, sitting atop the file cabinet. Nobody dared ask Luna where she got it or why it was there, and she didn’t forward the information. A knock on her door made her look up from her paperwork.
“Enter.” she called out.
The door swung open to admit the school secretary, followed by Rainbow Dash and Lightning Dust. The two girls were shooting each other poorly concealed death glares.
“Your four o’clock appointment, miss Luna.” the secretary said.
“Thank you, Typeset. You can go home. And if you see the janitor, tell him I’ll be locking up today. I expect to be here a while.”
“Alright, have a good evening ma’am.” Typeset replied.
“See you tomorrow.”
As soon as the door closed, Luna motioned the two girls to stand in front of her desk. She made them wait there while she finished the paperwork she had been in the middle of. After another twenty minutes she finally put it aside and fixed the two of them with her sternest glare.
“Since you two seem adamant to pummel each other at every opportunity, and neither detention nor suspension seems to work, I am left with only two options. Option one, I sign these papers and expel the both of you.” She said as she put down a small stack of papers on the left side of her desk.
That got their attention. Both girls finally stopped shooting each other glares as the gravity of the situation finally registered.
“Or, option two,” said Luna as she reached into the desk drawer and slammed something big and heavy down onto the right side of her desk with a wooden thunk, “We can settle this, here and now.”
Both of them involuntarily clenched their cheeks as they stared at the object on the desk. A heavy wooden school paddle. Sixteen inches long, excluding the handle. Five inches wide, and about half an inch thick.
“Y-you can’t be serious.” Rainbow Dash balked, “You can’t paddle us.”
“I assure you, Miss Dash, I most certainly can. It’s in the school policy. Though we rarely make use of the option.” Luna said as she looked her in the eye. “If you doubt me, just ask your friend, Sunset Shimmer. After the fall formal she became well acquainted with my ‘board of correction’.”
Rainbow swallowed nervously while Lightning Dust wrung her hands, shifting from foot to foot.
“This is the choice before you. I suggest you make it fast. I do not intend to waste a minute more than I have to on this matter.”
She stoically watched the pair as their eyes darted repeatedly between the paddle and the papers.
“Well? Have you come to a decision?” She asked after a good two minutes had passed.
Rainbow Dash felt her stomach do flip flops as she opened her mouth to answer. “I’ll take the paddling ma’am.”
“Me too.” said Lightning Dust.
“Very well. Since I do not wish to waste any energy on this matter, here’s how this is going to go,” Luna said as she stood up, “Each of you will receive no less than forty strokes of this paddle.”
Both girls paled at the number. Forty smacks with that heavy thing was going to break their asses for sure.
“However, since the two of you seem determined to turn everything into a competition, you get to give them to each other. The both of you will drop your skirts and panties, then one of you will bend over the desk, grab the far side and hold on.
After you receive your stroke, you will change positions. Don’t worry, I will keep count. Should you let go of the desk to rub your bottom, the stroke doesn’t count. And If one of you does not complete a round without rubbing her bottom, the other will be pardoned from her remaining strokes. Now, get ready.”
Both girls hesitated.
“Is there a problem?” Luna asked impatiently as she crossed her arms.
“I can't strip down in front of her.” Lightning Dust said bashfully.
“What she said.” Dash replied.
Luna snorted, “You both share the same locker room and showers. I’m fairly sure that neither of you have anything left to hide from one-another.”
Both girls felt their face heat up even more. It was true though, they had pretty much seen it all. With no valid excuses left they reluctantly dropped their skirts, and slowly peeled off their panties, doing their best to cover themselves with their free hands.
Luna briefly glanced at their pale buttcheeks as both girls placed their skirt and panties on one of the vacant chairs. They wouldn’t remain that color for long.
“Lightning Dust, you bend over the desk first.” Luna said as she handed Rainbow Dash the paddle. Taking a step back, she leaned against her file cabinet and observed. From there she had a front row seat.
Slowly, Lightning Dust bend over the desk. Awkwardly wiggling her hips to get into position. With shaking hands she grabbed the end of the desk. She felt completely exposed, and more than a little bit humiliated, and the spanking hadn’t even started yet. She risked a glance over her shoulder, watching as Rainbow Dash slowly took up position on her left.
Dash swallowed nervously, keenly aware of the weight of the implement in her hands. She couldn’t help but stare at Lightning’s plump, totally exposed bottom. Part of her wanted to just bolt from the office, and yet another part of her relished the idea of giving Lightning Dust exactly what she deserved.
“You may begin.” Said Luna.
Dash gripped the paddle tightly as she measured the distance before pulling the paddle all the way back, before delivering a full force whack to Lightnings vulnerable backside. The wood struck flesh with a resounding crack that was audible all the way in the hallway, causing the janitor, Mister Discord, to briefly look up from where he was mopping the floors.
Lightning let out a strangled yelp. Her hands briefly let go of the desk as tears sprung up in her eyes. But she immediately grabbed the edge again. Her feet drummed into the floor as she desperately tried to shake the pain away, causing her cheeks to jiggle obscenely. Her breath came out in quick, short pants as she tried to get back some semblance of control.
From her spot by the file cabinet, Luna observed the damage. Admiring the large, angry red mark left behind by the paddle.
Rainbow for her part felt a sense of satisfaction as she observed the fiery mark bloom forth on her rivals pale rear. The feeling was short lived however. The moment Luna announced it was time to switch places, any remaining sense of satisfaction vanished, to be replaced with utter dread.
Lightning glared at Dash as she lifted herself up off the desk. Her eyes stung with tears, but she wasn’t about to break down and cry. She wouldn’t give her the satisfaction.
As Rainbow gripped the edge of the desk she felt sorry for hitting Lightning so hard. Knowing that she would receive no mercy from her. Not daring to look back she stared at the wall, wishing this was over already.
Lightning picked up the paddle from the desk. It felt heavy in her hands. Good. She would make Dash regret her actions. The fiery burn in her bottom spurred her on to deliver a swat that would surely make her reach back to rub. She took her time to measure the distance. Aiming nice and low to make sure she hit Rainbow's sit spots. In one swift motion she drew the paddle back, then delivered a devastating whack that pushed Rainbows pelvis into the desk. Another loud crack filled the office and the hallway beyond.
Rainbow, for her part, let out an uncharacteristically high squeal. She gripped the edge of the desk so hard she was sure she heard it creak. A sob escaped her throat as the pain blasted through her backside. Her ass felt like it was on fire.
“Bravo, you completed the first round.” Luna announced as she observed Dash’s cheeks change color. Two tiny bruises were already starting to form in the middle of each cheek. “Alright, time to switch positions again.”
Lightning hesitated to get back over the desk. The glare Rainbow was shooting her promised horrible retribution.
Dash felt pissed off. The horrid burn in her butt burned as hot as her hate for Lightning Dust in that moment. She angrily swiped up the paddle. Tapping it against her palm impatiently.
“Get over the desk Miss Dust.” Luna said sternly.
With shaky hands, Lightning complied, gripping the far side of the desk in a death grip. She mumbled a quick hail mary as she felt Dash press the paddle against her ass, before pulling back. The smack that followed felt like someone held a hot iron pressed to her flesh. This time she didn’t even bother to stifle the scream that escaped her throat. Her feet hammered into the carpet in a desperate dance that did little to nothing to alleviate the horrible pain in her bottom. Yet somehow she managed to keep her grip on the desk.
“Switch.” Luna announced.
Lightning struggled to obey. Her legs trembled like a newborn fawn, but she somehow managed to get up. As she took hold of the paddle she gave Rainbow a look that promised retribution would be served in full.
Her revenge was as swift as it was painful. Laying a blazing stroke across Rainbow’s bare rump that deepened the redness appreciatively and brought fresh tears to her eyes.
Not giving them time to recover, Luna announced it was once again time to switch positions, and the cycle repeated. To the credit of their stamina, tolerance and willpower, the two girls kept it up for another ten rounds. Each trying to break the other, spurred on by the flames of their rivalry, as well as the flames in their bottoms. By the thirteenth stroke their butts were beyond red. Both girls backsides were angry swollen collections of bruises.
Luna knew full well the damage that paddle could do. She had gone through a rather, troubled period as a teenager, and had spent several years in a very strict reform school where her own bottom had become intimately familiar with one just like it. She knew from experience the girls couldn’t possibly take all forty strokes like that. But she was curious to see just how far they were willing to go.
“Switch places.” She announced.
Lightning shakily lay down across the desk. She was feeling absolutely miserable. Her ass hurt so much she doubted she would be sitting down for the next week or two. And they weren’t even halfway. She was so lost in her thoughts that the next blow took her completely by surprise. With a shriek of agony she let go of the desk. Her hands flying back to protect her poor battered bottom. Tears streamed from her eyes as she grabbed her aching cheeks and tried to rub the pain away.
“Yes.” Dash cried triumphantly.
“Don’t celebrate too soon miss Dash, you still have to finish your turn before you can claim your pardon.
“Aww man.”
Lightning grit her teeth as she got up from the desk. There was no way, no way in hell she was going to give Rainbow the satisfaction.”
Rainbow lay down across the desk and grabbed the edge firmly. She was determined not to let go. Victory was within her grasp.
Lightning Dust angrilly rubbed her eyes with the sleeve of her shirt. She had to make sure to get Dash to rub her butt this time, or she would be pardoned. And that meant she would have to take the remaining swats alone. An idea came to her and she pulled back the paddle, then smacked it down across the back of Dash’s legs, just below her butt.
Rainbow screamed as she let go of the desk. She slid to the ground and grabbed her legs, furiously rubbing to try and lessen the pain. Her breath came out in ragged sobs.
“Well done miss dust. Better luck next round miss Dash.” Luna said.
“N-no fair.” Dash said between sobs “She hit my legs.”
“Was that on purpose miss Dust?”
“N-no ma’am. I was aiming for her butt.” Lightning replied.
Luna knew she was lying, she was observing every move these two made carefully. But she decided to let it slide. Neither of them were showing the right attitude yet.
“Well since it was an accident I say it counts. Switch places for round thirteen.”
“But we’re on round fourteen ma’am.” Lightning protested.
“No we aren’t. Both of you rubbed your bottoms. So this round doesn’t count. Now get over the desk miss Dust.”
With a miserable groan, Rainbow Dash picked herself up off the floor. Swiping the paddle off the desk she got ready to give Lightning a taste of her own medicine. But just as she was about to lay a vicious smack across the back of Lightning’s legs she began to have second thoughts.
‘Man, I don’t know about her but I can’t possibly take another twenty-seven of these. Heck I don’t want even one more of these. My ass feels like I’ve been sitting in broken glass and molten steel.’
Meanwhile, Lightning was waiting for the blow to land. She was so tense she was trembling from head to toe as she anticipated the strike across her legs that was no doubt coming. But nothing happened. Reluctantly she looked back at Rainbow, who seemed to be frozen with indecision.
“Something the matter Miss Dash?” Luna asked. “Perhaps you wish for me to take over?”
“N-no ma’am, just needed to… to catch my breath ma’am.” she said hastily.
“Very well, carry on.”
Rainbow turned her attention back to Lightning Dust, who quickly looked away. She stared at her battered and bruised ass. It was not looking pretty, and her own butt wasn’t in much better shape. How were they possibly going to take another twentyseven licks? Then suddenly an idea occurred to her. It was a gamble. Either Lightning wouldn’t go for it, or Luna would veto it, but she had to try. She took a steadying breath, drew back the paddle, and slapped it lightly against Lightnings bare bottom.
Lightning Dust felt confused. She had expected another blazing strike of pain. Had Dash somehow fumbled her stroke? She looked back at the rainbow haired girl. Dash gave her a pleading look before putting the paddle on the desk.
Luna kept her expression stoic, but inside she was grinning. It seemed Rainbow Dash was the first to figure out the sheer futility of this little exercise. Now if only Lightning Dust would catch on as well.
“Switch places.” she said.
Lightning still felt confused as she picked up the paddle. What was Dash playing at? She drew back the paddle, ready to deliver another stinger when things suddenly clicked. Dash had figured it out, and now, so had she. Part of her felt ticked that Dash figured it out first, but she squashed that part and brought the paddle down, lightly tapping Dash on the ass with it.
Luna’s inner grin burst into a full fledged smile. ‘It seems they can be taught after all.’ she thought to herself.
“Switch places ladies.” She told the two.
And so they did, tapping each other lightly on the butt, round after round, until at last they reached forty strokes.
As the paddle landed on rainbows naked backside for the last time, Luna pushed herself away from the cabinet she had been leaning against.
“I do hope you two learned something from this experience.” She said, her tone not unkindly.
“Yeah, getting paddled hurts like hell.” Dash muttered.
At Luna’s disapproving stare she quickly added: “A-and that, trying to constantly outdo each other is pointless, and can get someone hurt.”
“And that we can accomplish more if we work together rather than against each other.” Lightning cut in.
Luna gave them a pleased smile. “Then it would seem this wasn't all for nothing. I suggest you two get dressed and hurry home to put some cooling lotion on your behinds. It will help with the swelling.”
Both girls blushed, having completely forgotten about their state of undress. They both quickly snatched up their underwear and gingerly slid it across their bottoms. Even the smooth silky fabric felt like coarse sandpaper to their abused bottoms. They quickly threw their skirts back on before beating a hasty retreat from the office.
Luna stretched her back before letting out a sigh. That took longer than planned, but it was worth it.
“I take it they learned their lesson?”
She looked back to find Mister Discord entering the office.
“Naturally. It’s a tried and true method after all.”
“You would know wouldn’t you?” the older man replied with a knowing grin. “I remember the trouble you got into back when you were in my care.”
Luna said nothing, but a light blush filled her cheeks.
“Stil, you went a bit beyond what the rules technically allow.”
“I suppose I did. But I think it worked out for the best. They won’t be fighting again anytime soon.”
“Be that as it may, you know what happens to rulebreakers.”
Luna felt her cheeks heat up further as Discord reached for the paddle. Even so she couldn’t hide her smirk as she slid down her pants and assumed the position across her desk.
She had no regrets.
