Perplexed at the unique markings within the ruin, Twilight makes it a mission to discover the identities of the ancient symbols. Meanwhile a mysterious stallion appears in Ponyville as a darkness begins to turn the otherwise peaceful residents into a chaotic rabble. Can Twilight and company unravel the secrets of the runes before all of Equestria descends into eternal darkness and chaos?
