What started as a conspiracy among the Elements of Harmony to teach Rainbow Dash a lesson, has been turned into a symbol of hope and justice for the city of Manehattan. Years after losing her daughter in a mugging, Belle Hearts has taken it upon herself to assume the mantle of the Mysterious Mare Do Well and wage a crusade against the Manehattan Mafia, led by the ruthless kingpin, Al Gazillion.

A task easier said than done.

The police seek to bring her down for vigilantism, an up and coming photographer begins snooping around, and villains are on the rise. Above all, Belle must overcome the specters of her past, in order to become the beacon of hope that will deliver Manehattan from its darkest hours.
