Lunar Rebellions: The Sirroco slaughter

by Perpetually Confused
A insurgent legion of rebel pegasi face a single stallion in a city by the sea

Few hold a candle to the deeds of Shadow of the Kickers and Sunbeam Sparkle during the rebellion. Few acts or valor can match facing an alicorn or killing a foal to save thousands. To one who bore a shell as hard as steel and had a heart as soft as any, to the other the deed that began the rebellion in the first place. Many say Shadow, few speak so highly of Sunbeam. Both loyal to Equestria, ones who sacrificed much for all, but history shows them not equal.

Artic Sirroco is regarded as a monster... and a hero. A tribalist in many ways, a stallion whose presence left a chill in even a summer day in his passing, one cities most loathed figure who they still built a monument of valour for, a beast who slinked in a storm, and in its cover, slayed whole battalions. Pegasus even now speak of that week, the seven rises, and what befell the war band there. Hunted down, chased, pinned down in Siroccos gale, their wings could not avail them then.

One mare told of it... their Captain. Their commander. A fearless she wolf of Clan Striker... who learned to fear one stallion. And how horrible her fellows screams were as he ended them one by one.
