Opening the door to a stern faced Swift is something I never want to happen in my life again. Felt like a kid about to be scolded for eating a Fancy Lad Snack cake before dinner. Luna looks at me than back to Swift.

Luna gives me a big smile. "Well I'll be in the office while you talk out your lover's quarrel." She says giggling as she enters the office, Closing the door behind her.

Swift quickly blushes and looks at the door. "Wait what?" She asks.

I enter the house and close the door. "Just ignore her for now. It seems like you want to talk." I say as I start to head up the stairs.

Swift quickly shakes her head and follows after me. "Yes we need to talk about Misty." Swift says.

We both walk into the master bedroom where I close the doors. "What about Misty?" I ask coldly as I sit on the bed.

Swift walks up to me. "Well like it or not your her adopted father now. Your going to have to start making calls for her." She says as she sits next to me on the bed. She looks at me with those big brown eyes.

I look back at her. "I know but I have no idea what the hell to do. I'm the loner, the outcast, I've never had to be the father or care for some one that much." I sigh. "I'm a soldier. Even in a new world." I'm now just blankly starring at Swift.

Swift shuffles nervously under my helmets stare. "Well you have me here to help." I go to retort but she stops me. "I know what your about to say, but I care for her to, even with the little amount of time I spent with her." She looks up at me with a face of determination. "So we'll raise her together." She says proudly than quickly blushes.

I laugh "When than mother of my child what should we do first." I say poking fun at her.

Swift gives me a thoughtful look. "Well get her ready for school and make sure she properly sets her room up." Swift says hopping off the bed and starts to pace whispering to herself.

I shake my head at her than get up to leave. "I have to go talk to Luna. Make a list that we can go over." I open the door than look at her. She stops pacing and looks at me. "This is going to sound horrible and morbid but I have to say it."

Swift walks up to me with a look of worry. "I don't think I'll like hearing this." She says.

I look down at her. "Like I said I'm a soldier. We don't always make it back." I kneel down to her level at put a hand on her shoulder. "It'll be just you and Misty than. She'll be a wreck so you'll have to be the strong one for her." I say as I stand back up.

Swift gives me a determined nod. I nod back and leave to go talk to Luna. The fact I calmly said that is proof enough that I've become a different person. I walk down the stairs to the office. Great I wonder how Misty will turn out than. I enter the office to see Luna over looking a map.

"Ah Wolf. Done with your lover's spat than?" Luna asks with a cheeky smile.

I walk in and close the door. "Yeah and the make up sex was great, you should try it sometimes." I blurt out. Great I'm dead now.

Luna laughs a hearty laugh. "It's good to have a sense of humor before a battle, keeps your mind out of the dark area." Luna says as she goes back to looking over the map.

I look at her. "Can you tell me more about this legion. Its has a lot of similarities to the one I fought." I say. Time to see if this enemy will be like the old one.

Luna hums. "Hmmmm. Well It started off as a Diamond dog clan that was big enough to take over another clan, so they did and than continued to do it." She says as she draws a line on the map. "We can stage here, enough room to get the troops ready." Luna says as she points to a flat field before the forest.

I nod my head. "They grew to fast just like Caesar." I say as I draw a line in the forest. "A path of least Resistance, you could easily move troops there but it'll be guarded."

Luna nods here head "We'll attack from the air with Threstals and Pegasuses. That'll shake them up enough for our troops to go in." Luna says as she starts writing down numbers. "Precisely. They grew to fast and it brought them into contact with our ponies. They just stole supplies at first but they had to many troops and not enough working."

"So they turn to slavery as a way to survive and start taking slaves on raids." I'm going to love killing them than. I point to a pathway into the camp. "They use that pathway to go get supplies from deeper in the forest. I'll take some ponies around and flank them." I say.

Luna nods her head. "And that leads us to here where they are now, amassing for a raid on ponnyville."

"Well we'll wipe them out than." I say as I step over to the window.

Luna walks up to the window and looks out to. "I'd like some alive. But If I've learned anything from being over a thousand years old and fighting countless battles is that enemies like the legion are always cut down by the victim race." Luna says as she looks up into the sky. After a while of silence Luna looks at me. "Ponies like you Wolf are always rare. Hiding your emotions is not something ponies easily do. You are a pony that shows kindness to those who deserve it and no mercy to those who you consider your enemies."

I think about that for a while. "The wasteland is an awful place with nothing but the bad. Guess I try to be the good." I say as I see chariots start flying in.

Luna looks back out the window. "We can talk more about this after we get rid of the legion." Luna says as she heads outside. "For now we meet the troops."

So yeah rusty so here ya go. Where has this story been? Went on vacation in the summer came back got really sick, Still sick but not as bad so thought I come back to writing. But yeah not the best.
