Location Ponyville

Time 10:10 A.M.

So much for working on that plan now that I have gotten myself lost. I don't know how I managed to pull it off since it was a straight shot through the market, then left, left, right, or was it left, right,right. Next time I wont take directions from someone with their mouth full. God, things where a lot easier in the Mojave. Just simple towns or spaced out collapsed buildings. I stop and shake my head. "No the world wasn't messed up when I came here." I said to myself while ponies just stared at me for talking. Good thing my helmet makes it hard to hear me sometimes. The ponies must think I'm crazy. As I turn a corner I end up back at the middle of the town. I stop to take a look around. The fountains in the middle and that tree house is nearby. I sit down on the side of the fountain to try and get my bearings again.

"Hiya!" I jumped a bit when my vision was suddenly filled with a pink face and blue eyes. "I'm Pinkie Pie and I saw you starring earlier this morning and I wanted to say Hi but I had to get more sugar so I could bake and..." I ignore her as she keeps rambling on. Looking at her I can tell she is the pink mare from this morning, Poofy mane and tail, with balloons for her cutie mark.

"Ma'am can you slow down a bit all I really got from you talking was that your Pinkie Pie." She stops and takes a breath.

"Sorry I really like meeting new ponies." She smiles at me. "So whats your name?"

"Ranger Wolf of the New California Republic." She just tilts her head and stares at me.

"So what do I call you New, Republic or...." I cut her rambling off again.

"The name is Wolf, I'm a soldier of the New California republic, and ranger is what branch I serve in." I tell her.

"So Wolfy it is then." She proudly smiles.

"No wait its not...never mind." I thought about bringing up the nickname but decided against it.

*GASP* "I have to plan Your Welcome To Ponyville Party!!!" Pinkie shouted.

"Ma'am with all due respect thank you but I'm to busy right now." I shake my head at her.

She deflates a little. "Okay maybe later in the week than. What are you busy with?"

"I need to buy a house or something so I have a place to keep supplies and such." I tell her.

"Sorry but the town hall is closed for a few days since the roof collapsed." Pinkie informs me.

"How did that happen?" I asked her.

"A mean evil black snooty mare crashed the summer sun celebration and caused some damage when the guards tried to fight her." Pinkie replied back.

"What?" Is all I could say before she continued on.

"Yeah she was all like 'MUHAAAAH I SHALL PLUNGE THE WORLD INTO INTERNAL DARKNESS FOREVER' but then me and my friends friendshiped her and now she lives happily ever after with her sister." Pinkie finished her story. Okay that was a lot to take in if she is telling the truth if she's lying, than high tail it back to the police and get her locked up. And darn what will I do now since I can't get shelter? Maybe Applejack will help out?

"Do you know how to get to Applejack's farm?" I asked Pinkie.

She nods her head yes and says. "Yes she is one of my best friends and she lives right out of town follow me!!." She starts bouncing down the road as I scramble to keep up with her. Okay this lady is so weird. She's defiantly up there with the crazy's I have met in my time as a ranger patrolling the wastes. She's still bellow those damn people who worship a radiation god and try to spread it to others. I don't care, I kill those bastards on site they don't get to live. My eyes widen when I finished thinking. The hell was that!!! I was never violent before or was fine with killing people. I start getting brief flashes of me killing raiders and legion. Then me killing a group of unarmed children of atom in a church. I grunt as I lean against a house's wall for support. Pinkie stops and walks up to me. "Wolf are you okay?"

I shake my head to clear my mind and reply. "Just some old memories coming up all of a sudden." She stares at me worriedly.

"Here there's a bench nearby we could sit at for a while." She starts leading me to bench but I shake my head at her.

"I'm fine just need a second to calm..." I"m cut off as someone shouts.

"PINKIE LOOK OUT!!! I'LL SAVE YOU!!" I look to see where the voice came from to see that it belonged to a teal rainbow maned pegasus diving right for me. My instincts kick in as I prepare to move out of the way. She's just a few feet away.

"NO DASH WAIT!!!" Pinkie tried in vain to warn her as she gets close.

"STAY AWAY FROM HER YOU MONSTER!!!!" Dash yells at me. Time slows down and right when she was about to hit me I sidestepped her at the last second and grabbed her back leg. Her face lit up with surprise as I threw her on her back. Dash grunts as she hits the ground and in a second I'm on top of her with my gun next to her head.

"You move you die." I threaten her. Dash gulps and I feel a wetness start to soak my pants. It all goes silent as ponies stare at us. I cock the hammer back.

"Wait Wolf don't do it she's dumb!" Pinkie yells as she stands right next to us. I stare at Dash and the look of utter fear is on her face. My rage is gone as a stare at her and I get up. I go to say something but Pinkie beats me to it. "Dash you just attacked a soldier!!!" Pinkie yells at her and stands her up.

"I just...just thought he was a monster." Dash reply's shaking. I go to say some thing but just when I was about to speak a lavender unicorn with purple hair and a star cutie mark comes running up.

"O no no no no! Dash what did you do! You could've just started a war!" The mare starts to pace back and forth "We'll have to tell the princess and hide you right away. Just what where you thinking?!" She yells at dash. The crowd that has gathered starts to panic a little and start saying things like. 'We can't handle a war.' Gather the foals and run!' 'Where all doomed!"

"I just wanted to save Pinkie." I heard Dash whimper out. The mare goes to say something but I had enough.

"ENOUGH!!" I yell and stomp my foot down. Every one looks at me. "There isn't going to be a war. Just every one calm down!" The crowd goes silent. I look at Dash. "What the hell is your problem lady attacking someone." I step towards Dash but Pinkie steps in between us.

"Okay okay Dash just say your sorry and we all be happy." Pinkie smiles.

Dash frighteningly looks at me. "Sorry." She says as she flies away.

"Christ that could have gone better." I say to myself as pinkie walks up to the purple mare.

"Where did you come from Twilight?" Pinkie asks her. I look around as the crowd still stares. I can't help but to shake as the adrenaline starts to wear off.

"I saw you walking around with the hero of Appaloosa and wanted to talk to him but I saw him lean against the wall and came to help." Twilight responds. Pinkie goes to talk but this time I'm interrupting her.

"Pinkie can we go now all this excitement is getting to me." They both look at me to see that I'm shaking.

Twilight's eyes widen as she talks. "We can go to my home where it's quite." I just nod at her as she whispers something to Pinkie. Pinkie salutes and takes off. "Come on It's just a short walk this way." I follow Twilight as she walks down the road. I look back to see the crowd clearing and can't help but to shake a little more in knowing that I was about to kill that pony.
