The Attempted Overthrow

Rarity was doing the laundry since she didn't have anything to wear for tomorrow. She hoped that she could get the laundry done soon so that she can return back to her place once Sweetie Belle finished class.

As she waited for her clothes to finish the wash cycle she decided to try and read a magazine to pass the time. She began reading an article in one magazine that was near one of tables where clothes were folded.

As she read one of the magazines the door to the laundry mat open and Twilight walked over to where Rarity was. Rarity looked up from her magazine and saw Twilight walking to here. Rarity was surprised to see Twilight had came there.

"What's the matter?" Rarity asked her as she was so confused as to why Twilight had came to Rarity. If Twilight came to her then it probably had to do with something important which needed Rarity.

"I need your help with something." Twilight said. Rarity looked at her clothes getting washed and sighed while she looked back at Twilight.

"I'm not done yet. What do you want me to do leave just so I can help you with a single problem. Why can't you get Applejack since you seem to like her a bit to much." Rarity said rolling her eyes.

"I don't like her that way Rarity! Besides you have to come to the castle its of major importance." Twilight said. Rarity became confused as she wondered if something had happened while she was out.

"Well I can't leave my clothes behind. Whatever is happening can wait Twilight. If you came to me about this somewhere else then I might have left what I was doing but not here I have to finish up. So go home and I'll meet you there in a while." Rarity said.

"Rarity your not understanding why your needed. You have to come with me." Twilight urged her. Rarity argued with her as she said that she needed to stay there for a bit more. She told Twilight to go home and said that she would go there herself once she was done.

Twilight tried to convince her otherwise but Rarity refused so Twilight gave up and ran back home. Rarity felt a bit bad about not treating an possible important matter as important but she couldn't leave her stuff at the laundry mat. She continued to read her magazine while she waited for her clothes to finish.

Soon her clothes finished and she put them in a dryer. She hoped that she wasn't testing Twilight's impatience as she wish that the dryer would just hurry up. The dryer finished an Rarity took all her clothes our. Soon she folded them and brought them to her place and put them away and then ran to Twilight's palace.

When Rarity got there she saw that nobody was at the bottom floor to greet her when she went inside. She looked upstairs and decided to head on up. While she walked to the upper room she heard her friends voices. When she got to the closed door she opened it and saw that her friends had crowded around a television.

When she questioned what was going on as she had no idea since nobody was telling her anything her friends ushered her to come over she decided to come see what all the fuss was about. When she got there she saw that a news report was reporting that a coup was being perpetrated against Celestia by Equestria's own royal guard.

Celestia had barricaded herself inside the castle and was asking for help all over. Celestia had tried to get troops to come help her but they had been prevented from entering. Twilight sent and emergency letter to Cadence and made a phone call to Shining Armor to order troops to come in and help Celestia prevent the coup.

Cadence responded immediately by sending troops into the area in order to help herself get out of the dangerous situation while she was protected inside by some guards that had been situated inside the castle. The journey took about an hour and when they all got to the palace the troops fought off the coup perpetrators and then they restrained the perpstrators

The perpetrators of the attempted takeover where executed on the spot by Celestia's guards, the move against the perpetrators received backlash Celestia then sent a warning to everybody who was probably planning the same thing. Almost immediately Manehattan planned to secede from Equestria so Celestia cent several hundred troops to dismantle leadership there.

Celestia had never seen anything like this before. She had thought that she was popular but apparently she was wrong. She signed several orders declaring to increase surveillance on individuals that were involved in suspicious activity that hinted at them training themselves to perform possible coupes in the future and she ordered and investigation into trying to find who the perpstrator was. Even if nobody was found yet they were going to be found by Equestria soon and they were going to be punished to the fullest extent of the law.

Celestia also fired and arrested more people who were involved in trying to overthrow her as investigations into the individuals brought evidence that they were involved in a plot to overthrow the monarchy of Equestria as they were displeased by some of Celestia's policies. At least 200 people resigned as the result. Due to this happening Twilight held several meetings with guards on hot to increase security measures in Celestia's castle.

After the meeting they improved security at Celestia's castle and so that if anybody tried an attempt to harm, an attempt to kill or an attempt to overthrow her they would be stopped in an instant as the security Celestia had before was just to weak for the first time ever a security checkpoint for the Royal palace. They were going to make sure that what had happened would never be tried again.
