//-------------------------------------------------------// True Nation -by Paladinhunt- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// A Dream //-------------------------------------------------------// A Dream It all started with a dream really.... Not a nightmare that made you sweat into the night, nor a blissful escape into a paradise. What you saw were what appreared to be flying clouds, not the knightly color of white you knew them to be, yet instead they are menacing shapes that had an apperance of a beetle's carapace. Black with an aura of green and with spiked antennae lining their edges. You seem them fly by you overhead with a bass hum of an eerie silence emitted from fires trailing behind it. You run quickly as they fly farther and farther out of your reach only to yell, "What are you?!" "What are you doing?!?" a piercing yell echoed through the wooden door that was an entrance to your door. "I'm sleeping that's what!" you yell back in an unwilling tone. You had nearly fallen out of bed the second you were yelled at. "Well, no son of mine is going to sleep this late on a perfectly good summer's day." "Sure mom, whatever you say...." You finally decide to get up and start the day, the princess's sun was already well above the horizon and you could see the towns' ponies scurry about their business.  You trot out of your room after you hastily made your bed and set to work getting your wildly thrown black mane back into acceptable apperance as well as keeping your teeth the white they were supposed to be. "I've got breakfast done and made, you can come down anytime...." your mother calls, hoping that your state of hunger will make you hasten your efforts to get ready. "Like I needed to be told twice.." you think to yourself as your stomach grumbles in a rudely loud manner. You join your family eating one of the best wheat and rye breakfasts you've had in quite awhile. As you eat, you try to remember what you were dreaming about.... it's almost there to just grab with your own hoof and it just slips out of your mind..... All you could remember was how black it had been.
