Twilight was sitting in her room drinking some ice tea as she relaxed at home. She was reading a book while she sipped from her drink as the air conditioned castle blew air throughout her room as she read.
While she was relaxing though she head a knock on her door. She wondered if it didn't have be answered if it was a salesman. She waited for a bit to listen if it was one of her friends that was knocking.
"Twilight it's Rarity darling. Are you home?" Rarity called out. Twilight yelled out for Spike as she didn't feel like wheeling herself over to the door. Spike entered her room and she told Spike to go to let Rarity in. Spike let Rarity in and once Rarity got in she greeted Spike and then she went up to see Twilight. She got to Twilight's room and spoke.
"Hi Twilight...I was wondering if you wanted to go to an art exhibition with me. I came here to ask you about it because there is one that's being held for three days in a temporary rented store in Canterlot. It's up to you thought I just thought it would be something for us to do." Rarity said. Twilight spoke,
"Is it handicapped accessible?" Twilight asked. Rarity thought for a moment but she didn't know if it was as she never took a good look at the entrance.
"I would have to take a look at a flyer or see the place up close as I didn't notice if there was one near the entrance as I was only looking at the list of openings near the building." Rarity said.
"Alright I want to go there. I love art. We can spend a few hours there with eachother just looking at creations by talented artists." Twilight said. Rarity smiled a she loved the idea of going there.
"Great. I'll call them up." Rarity said. Rarity called up the museum and asked what times they were open. Rarity listened to them tell her the times and then she asked them if it was accessible to disabled people and she got her answer then she hung up and told Twilight.
"It is wheelchair accessible but it's a short ramp so you might have trouble going up but still you might probably manage." Rarity said. Twilight shrugged.
"Alright let's go besides I need to get out of the castle more." Twilight said. Twilight got dressed and used the elevator to reach the ground. Once they reached the ground they both left the castle.
Twilight and Rarity traveled to the museum. They didn't have to much trouble getting there as there wasn't to much people in there way. When they got inside they saw that their was a line of people who were already handing in their tickets. Twilight and Rarity waited patiently and once they got to the front Rarity spoke up.
"Hello...uh me and Twilight want to see the museum...how much are the tickets to get in? Im afraid that it might be to expensive for us so that's why I'm asking." Rarity asked at the front. The man noticed who they were and shook his head rapidly.
"Twilight's a princess, she's part of the Royal family she can get in for free and you can get in for free as well." The man said. Twilight stared at him in surprise as she had never heard such a thing.
"That's not fair. What about everybody else!? They've been waiting in line for a while and your saying that they have to pay because they aren't princess's!" Twilight exclaimed. The man tried to explain himself.
"Please allow me to explain Princess Twilight. You belong to Equestria's royal family and the Royal family is exempt from paying for things as in the princess exemptions rule-" The man explained before he was cut off by Twilight.
"No that's absolutely pathetic!" Twilight said she turned around to face the crowd of people and she spoke.
"Citizens of Equestria. I have found out about a major injustice. I have just discovered that while Equestria's citizens have to pay for stuff the Royal family is exempt from paying. That stops right now. I declare that the Royal family has to pay for services to. No more will the Royal family use services without paying! We are going to pay the same amount of money for services like you regular people!" Twilight declared.
Twilight turned to the man and opened her wallet and gave the man the acquired amount of money to get in. She turned around.
"Once I finish looking around at the museum I will sign a decree which orders the Royal family to start paying for services that they use. It might take them a long timeto pay for stuff they have taken out of stores and pay for services that they have used and pay for services for museums that they have went to but it's the right thing to do!" Twilight declared. Everybody clapped for her intensely.
The doors opened and one by one more people paid to get in and they were allowed to get in. Rarity pushed Twilight along inside the museum as they started looking at artifacts from ancient Equestria history and Rarity spoke.
"Celestia isn't going to be happy with you once you pass this law." Rarity told a her. Twilight chuckled as she perfectly knew that she was going to get an earful once she passes it.
"I know. I can't wait." Twilight joked. Twilight and Rarity looked at stuff that was inside the museum. They had a really fun time inside. Twilight was so glad that Rarity had taken her to the museum. It was tough at first but Twilight managed to navigate as Rarity helped her.
Twilight was able to see everything inside the museum. Once their trip through the museum was done they left to hours later as Rarity and Twilight went back to the castle Once Twilight got back Twilight issued a decree which declared a that the members of the Royal family had start paying for services from then on.
It was a major shock to everybody around Equestria as news about it spread throughout Equestria. Celestia immediately took a stand against it declaring it as unfair and said that she would refuse to pay since Twilight hadn't signed it into law. Once Twilight heard what Celestia had said from one of her advisors Twilight smirked as she signed the decree into law.
The law took affect immediately. Once it took affect bills upon bills were delivered to Celestia's castle and that angered Celestia. Celestia went to Twilight's palace and confronted Twilight about it.
"I'm in debt because of you! I'm about to get several lawsuits from companies and business i have used as they want money from me! This isn't fair Twilight! I'm a member of the Royal family." Celestia yelled.
"It doesn't matter if you are. You've been abusing the little royalty gets stuff for free loophole far to long. It ends today Celestia! Pay the bills!" Twilight yelled.
"That's going to take forever Twilight! I can't sit at home all day and pay for shit I've done for the past several years!" Celestia said. Twilight smirked.
"Celestia you have a long time to live I think you can manage to pay every company you have bought from and every place you have ate at." Twilight said as she laughed.
"You've screwed me over Twilight! Paying for all of the services i have used will take years." Celestia shouted as she got up to walk away.
"Well then I guess you better get started then." Twilight said with a grin on her face.
Over the next few years Celestia and the rest of the Royal family spent an extreme amount of time paying for every single place she had ate at and she paid for every salon that she had went to. Twilight also spent years paying for stuff but she knew that it would be worth it in the end.
After several years of paying for these services Celestia had no money left while Twilight had some money gone as well but still had left over. Celestia she had to borrow some from her sister while her sister paid for stuff she had used to. The rest of the Royal family also paid for the services they used as well.
Celestia was so angry at Twilight it wasn't even funny. The rest of the Royal family filed for bankruptcy to they had no money in the treasury. Celestia stayed angry at Twilight for a year because of this. The treasury started getting money again but didn't have the required amount to work until a few years later.
Soon Twilight got more money over several years and so did the treasury until they had the required amount again. Celestia apologized to Twilight for yelling at her a a few days after being angry at her and Twilight accepted her apology. Celestia and they royal family soon came to realize how much good the law would do them as they were now held to the same standards as everybody else. Celestia finally admitted to Twilight that this law was a good law.
