Venus Spring goes through a lot. She's gone through several horrific events and her life as a sex worker does not lend itself to any sort of rewarding day's work. Coming home can be both a blessing and a curse.

One element that makes this so is her roommate, Mars Miner. The two have lived together for years now, but Mars doesn't fully understand the weight of her job. Thus, each night when Venus returns, she does so unaware, and unapologetic to him.

Tonight, she just can't take it.
