It's a sunny day outside as Octavia walks to the train station to greet her sister. "I'm so glad we're getting along now," sighs Octavia. "I actually enjoy her visits now." A few minutes later, she arrives at the train station and is greeted in a great big hug by her older sister.
"Hey Tivy," says Victoria with a smile.
"It's good to see you, too," responds Octavia, "but you know I hate that nickname."
"Sorry, I forgot," responds Victoria with a laugh. "You still playing cello???"
"Yes, and I've also taken up violin recently as well," responds Octavia. She then helps her sister with her stuff and they head back to Octavia's house.
Once they are back at the house, the two sisters drop the bags and Octavia gets water going for tea. "So, when are you going to let Vinyl put a ring on it?" asks Victoria.
"Who knows?" responds Octavia with a smile. "That's for her to decide. Nonetheless, I do hope she'll do it soon. How about your romantic life, sis?"
"Engaged," responds Victoria, "to a doctor named Steth Scope. He's so handsome, sweet, and nice. Our wedding is next year, in the spring."
"Cool," responds Octavia. "What do you want to do while you're here over these three weeks?"
"Anything, as long as it is with you. I do miss our quality sister times when we're apart from each other," responds Victoria.
A few minutes later, the teapot begins to whistle and Octavia goes and grabs it off the stove. She then pours the water over two mugs with teabags inside. She then puts sugar in her sister's and honey in her own. She then takes the tea over to her sister, hands it to her, then sits down across from her. After the two finish their tea, the two go out on a walk throughout Ponyville.
"This is nice," says Victoria with a smile and a sigh, "just taking a nice walk through town together."
"Yeah, I agree," responds Octavia with a smile.
After the two finish their walk, they stop into Sugar Cube Corner and sit down. A few minutes later, the two are greeted by Pinkie Pie.
"Hello Octavia, hello Victoria, what can I get for y'all today?"
"Chocolate milkshake for me," says Octavia.
"I'll take a vanilla one," adds Victoria, "and a blueberry muffin too if you don't mind."
"Ok! Coming right up!" responds Pinkie as she bounces off to fetch their orders.
A few minutes later, Pinkie brings over the orders and places them in front of the two sisters. "Here you go," says Pinkie with a smile as she places the chocolate one in front of Octavia and the vanilla one and the muffin in front of Victoria.
"Thank you," responds Octavia with a smile. She hands Pinkie a tip. Pinkie then takes it with her mane and bounces off. The two then happily chat as they sip on their milkshakes and as Victoria enjoys her muffin.
"So," says Victoria as she finishes up the muffin, "will you be my mare of honor in the wedding next year?"
"Of coarse, I wouldn't miss it," responds Octavia, "you're my sister."
After the two finish up at Sugar Cube Corner, Octavia pays for the both of them and they leave. They then go home and get dressed up for the Lunar Eclipse Gala. Around three hours later, the two arrive at the gala and get their eclipse glasses. There, they witness the lunar eclipse with the other ponies. Once the eclipse is done, they go on to the dance floor and have a blast alongside every pony else.
"This is so much fun," says Octavia with a laugh.
"Yeah, I figured you would like this," responds Victoria. She lets out a little giggle.
Octavia just smiles at her sister and lets out a little giggle, squeal, and even a bit of a snort back. "This is the best time I've had in a long time, thanks for that, sis."
"No problem," responds Victoria, "I'm so glad we're actually getting close again after so long of not getting along or being close at all."
"Me too," sighs Octavia.
A year later spring is in the air, it’s finally the day of Victoria’s wedding and Octavia is right there at her sister’s side as her main bridesmare. “I’m so proud of you, sis,” Octavia whispers in her sister’s ear.
“Thank you,” whispers Victoria back. The two then walk down the aisle together and Octavia hands her sister off to the groom. Soon Steth Scope and Victoria are wed.
After the wedding, Octavia walks up to her sister and gives her a great big hug. “I’m so so proud of you and so so happy for you!” Victoria laughs. She giggles.
“Thanks, sis,” says Victoria. “And another surprise, we’re going to move to Ponyville. He got a job at the foal’s hospital there.”
“Great!” Exclaims Octavia. “I’m glad you’ll be close!”
A few days later, Victoria and Steth head out on their honeymoon to the Marean Islands on a cruise. All the while, Octavia stays behind and she and Vinyl unpack her sister’s house as a surprise for her for when she returns. It’s the least she can do as her sister is now back in her life permanently and it’s not all bad as she initially thought. She’s actually glad to have her sister around for once in her life.
Around midnight, the two sisters return back to Octavia's house. Octavia goes up to her room and changes out of her dress before passing out on the bed while Victoria does the same downstairs in the guest bedroom. For the sisters, that gala was the most fun they've had together in a very long time.
The next morning, the two are up with the sun and go over to Rarity's. There, Octavia helps her sister pick out a wedding gown and brides mare dresses and the mare of honor's dress. For the wedding dress, Victoria settles on a lace dress with silk shell cup sleeves. For the brides mare dresses she chooses blush pink lace dresses and then for Octavia's mare of honor dress, Victoria chooses a blush pink silk and lace dress.
"Great choices, Victoria," says Rarity with a smile. "They'll be ready by spring of next year, don't you worry."
"Oh, I'm not worried. They're in the best and most capable hooves after all," responds Victoria with a smile.
"And may I recommend you ask the Cakes for your wedding cake," adds Rarity. "Have a good day!"
Victoria thanks Rarity and the two sisters then head to Sugar Cube Corner. There, the two are greeted by Mrs. Cake. "Hello girls, what can I do for you?"
"Well, I'm getting married in the spring of next year, and I was wondering if you could do the cake," responds Victoria with a smile. "My fiancé and I are hoping for a rich chocolate cake decorated with white frosting and wild flowers."
"Sure thing, dear," responds Mrs. Cake, "I'd be glad to do that for you."
"Oh joy! Thank you!" squeals Victoria.
"You're welcome," responds Mrs. Cake. "It's my pleasure."
The two thank Mrs. Cake one more time before they head out.
A few minutes later, the two walk into the spa and order the entire pleasure spa treatment. The two are glad they finally get some time to relax. The two spend several hours at the spa before returning back to the house, where Octavia fixes tea for the both of them.
A few minutes later as the two enjoy their tea, their conversation is erupted by a loud thud. It's a door slamming. "Don't mind that," groans Octavia, "that's just Vinyl being Vinyl."
"I kind of figured," Victoria whispers back, "because I know you're not one to slam doors unless you're really uber super mad."
"Yeah," laughs Octavia, "isn't that the truth!" She then lets out a little snort. A few moments later, she gathers herself and the two go on enjoying their tea. A little while later, the two sit down and play a game of Cards Against Equestria. All the while the two talk, laugh, and have an all around blast. The two are so glad to have these sister get togethers every so often and they would not give them up for anything else in the world.
