Finally old enough to join!
The morning was beginning to show through the curtains of a rather interesting creature. His tail moving back and forth under the blankets before his arms outstretched on his bed. It was Spike and he had been wearing nothing but emerald green boxers as he moved to the curtain. He flinched as his eyes adjusted to the outside light that shown down in his room. He had out grown the basket Twilight had him sleep in when he was going through puberty.
He then began to take notice of mares features and not only ponies which caused Twilight to decide it was time he had his own room. Thus his room was adorned with the type of furniture you would find in a normal room as emerald green eyes opened all the way; as he opened the window letting the outside air in. His body had grown and gotten rather tough! His purple scales had hardened over the years and the spines along his back got rather sharp leaving him to get specially made clothes from Rarity that wouldn't tear! He had headed to the bathroom, getting ready for the day as he got himself dressed in a more adventurous attire before heading downstairs.
Looking around at the mess left by Twilight he couldn't help but shake his head and sigh with a chuckle. "Twilight what would you do without me?" He spoke in a mumble before he began to clean taking roughly a couple hours. The sun had risen fully into the sky at this point when he put the cleaning supplies away. However, in the midst of his cleaning he found a book in a rather ancient writing that he seemed to recognize, "Twilight mentioned a book she couldn't translate...." He shook his head taking it with him and laying it on the table as he began to make breakfast.
He began making Twilights favorite of pancakes with blueberries mixed in and some cool whip on the top. He never understood why she liked so much in her pancakes the berries tasted bland in his opinion. However, he finished up with hers mixing up ruby and sapphire flakes into his own. He turned around upon hearing a feminine groan from behind as twilight stood there in the doorway.
He had blushed at the sight before his face turned completely red. There she stood leaning on the entryway to the kitchen in only a v-neck shirt top with her areola sticking through the fabric and blue and pink striped panties. She had moved forward and sat down before she looked up at him. "What? Something on my face?" She asked before he swiftly put the pancakes down in front of her. A tent forming at the front of his pants before he swiftly turned around and hit his inner thigh to remove it as this was his sister figure he was reacting to!!! He moved to sit down with a grunt at the other end before digging into his pancakes. She seemed to be eating rather swiftly as if she hadn't eaten in days.
Spike had enough after eating one flapjack and spoke out stuttering a bit. "T-twilight.... Y-you are n-not wearing any pants and y-you forgot your bra!" he burst out. She had looked down and her face mimicked his own. In the blink of an eye she had run up the stairs shouting in embarressment before he had simply sat back down to eat surprised she forgot. She was usually so well put together usually she would wear pajama bottoms. "Was it hot last night or something?" he thought as he continued to finish his pancakes doing so before her arrival.
She had arrived in one of her outfits. It was a sapphire blue button down shirt and a purple skirt. Her tail would stay down to hide her panties beneath and obscure the view. Spike couldn't help the awkward atmosphere and began to wash the dishes. It took a few minutes before Spike broke the silence.
"Hey Twi? Your annual slumber party is coming up right?" He tried to ease his way into this topic while she was still waking up he always felt it was the best time. His heart sunk with her response, "No, Spike you cannot attend!" This drew a sigh from Spikes lips before he turned around steeling his nerves. "Twilight I am 18 now as of today! Your slumber party is on the end of my birthday! Or did you forget again and forget my present?"
Twilights eyes went wide as if she was a dear in headlights. Spike caught her as he gave a smug grin. She was not one to give in so easily as she spoke out, "N-no I did not forget your present in fact I was going to surprise you with it tonight!" She retorted with a defiant look.
This surprised Spike however, he felt she was lying. So he laughed and looked her in the eyes only inches from her. "Then I will be back at 5pm tonight after some documents with Mayor Mare. I look forward to it!" with a large smile he headed out of the kitchen as Twilight had a triumphant grin. However, as the front door closed her grin turned to a look of horror as she placed her hands in front of her face before letting her head hit the table. "What am I going to tell the girls....."
Spike wasn't sure if she was serious but that could wait until later as he headed down the main street. The locals would wave to Spike all wishing him a happy birthday. He was ecstatic, he had slowly built a name for himself here. Helping everyone at one point or another when they were in a jam most found him dependable. The Mayors office came into view and he started off in a sprint with a large smile on his face before the door flew open. Inside he saw Mayor Mare.... As well as Ember and the Princesses. All looking to him with grave concern. Spike gulped as sweat moved across his brow before he spoke. "Uhhhh
... Heh why the grim atmosphere and.... Why are the Princesses and Ember here... Ooh boy.." The door was closed behind him by a golden glow as he jumped forward with a yelp.

When the door had slammed behind him, he was prepared for a scolding of sorts, however something else was being prepared. The princesses at once both ushered him over, "Come here, Spike we have something to talk to you about. Your future is very important to us as is the rest of Equestria, however it would seem that there are some.... Mild interference's that seem to play a part in your path." With that Ember then spoke up, "The situation will be explained by Mayor Mare, as we have already explained the situation to her. We must all leave to attend to our duties, as you know being the new ruler of the dragon empire has given me little chances for casual visits!"
The blue dragoness sighed as she left the confines of the Mayors office. When she had exited she let her wingspan spread out and sighed speaking out under her breathe, "Ah thats much better, I hate being inside it is just so confined and eh...." She flew off into the sky heading back to the dragon empire all by herself without any form of transport. Leaving Spike with the Princesses and Mayor Mare, as he scratched the back of his head confused. "So uh, what exactly is going on? Why is it you 4 have been so cryptic? What do you mean there are things standing in my way? What in the hay is going on that even Ember couldn't stick around?" He had been on alert and a bit frustrated.
The first to speak up was Princess Luna, "Young spike, thy should know of the the portals within the realm of disguise, When you were younger, you were born from the egg through the power of the young Twilight Sparkle. However, with that magic was not only your birth but the creation of a specific individual named, Stain Contract. He was a crystal dragon the last of his kind that was fighting for so many eons with your family. Or at least.... Thats what Twilight had told us about when she had researched in Embers Library.... We just thought it was superstition a point of fiction. However, when he was sealed away he had put a curse upon your family.... It is what had caused your family to die so quickly and from that with your mothers last breathe she had used her green flame with which you had as your first flame to send you to us.... So many blanks that were left until you finally turned 18... Your journey is now beginning anew and you will now have a chance to get the strength and power to save your families name.... Ember is the only reason that you have earned respect over in the dragon empire. That combined with the Competition you and her were in... I know this is a lot to take in Spike... However, that is the truth from historical books and facts help to support this.... Embers father kept the library locked and never let anyone in, but when she became ruler she opened it for Twilight to have access.
When you were resting, she had borrowed some books that caught her attention... This was the history of your family and almost the end...." When she had finished both Mayor Mare and the Princesses were crying, Spike looked down back and forth surprised, shocked, a mixture of emotions and this rival to his family.... There were so many things getting to him at once, only when he saw something hit the wooden floorboard did he realize that he was crying himself. The tears were flowing and he didn't know what to do. This was too much, but in the midst of his thoughts, Princess Celestia had stepped forward and wrapped her arms around him, nestling his head between her rather large breasts. From what Spike could tell, they were at least an H-cup, the blush crept upon his face as he nestled his head into her with which he began to bawl his eyes out.
Princess Luna, had sent out for the carriage, as Princess Celestia removed him from her chest to lower herself so her head was level to his own. Wiping his tears she spoke out, "I am sorry, but we must go Spike. I hope that you can talk with Mayor Mare, and no matter what, know that we are all here for you as much as we can be. Your journey will first take you to the Dragon empire that much Information I can give you. Happy Birthday Spike, I have already talked with Mayor Mare, she will let you have a week to recover from this news. Spend it wisely, and decide if you want to bring anypony with you. Otherwise, be ready for Stain Contract for he will try to kill you no matter where you go." She kissed his forehead and headed over to the carriage, as the door was opened up for her by a royal guard. They both waved to Spike before they were off and the door closed as Mayor Mare sighed, "Shall we begin our discussion and your official Membership into Ponyville?"
Spike had walked over to the chair in front of Mayor Mare who had never left her chair. She had a serene look to her, but most would consider her to be the second oldest resident in ponyville. However, her body showed otherwise, she had been keeping it maintained with something the Spa twins were working on according to rumors allowing her to keep her young look as if she is like any other mare. If he had to guess she looked in her early thirties, however all knew she was well into her eighties. Spike looked her dead in the eyes as he nodded ready to listen. This gave Mayor Mare a chance to stand up and begin walking around the desk to wander her office in contemplation. "There is a lot to be said, and not much time to share it. So then you are of age now Spike, let me address this and say Happy Birthday!" She brought out a small gift box and handed it to him with a cheery smile. "Open it when you feel you are able. So then, Stain Contract from what I was told, is capable of bringing others in from alternate dimensions or other worlds itself. This means that beings known to be myths will pop up now and then across Equestria."
"You are from a Royal dragon bloodline Spike as you already know, you are the last of what the dragons would call the ancients. This means that you are more resilient to toxins and chemicals, and magic won't penetrate your dragon scales so well. You already know that your underbelly must be protected at all costs to keep you alive. So there are 3 reports already as of this morning, since you will have a week to recover that means I will give you time to think on each of these targets. What you are to do whenever one of these beings from another world which I think we will call, Outworlders. Is to determine if they are full of light, or darkness, beings of hope, or darkness. Once you have decided do not take immediate action unless your life is on the line. We must take action according to what you give us, if they are of light and hope then we will extend a hand to give them a place to stay. However, you must help them to understand where they are and work with them to be in negotiable conditions." She had continued walking until she had returned to the other side of her desk, she ushered her hand over for him to open up the box.
Taking the hint, he slowly undid the party wrap and removed the lid of the box as there was a glint in his eyes from what was within. Reaching his clawed hand in, he had drawn out an obsidian black pendant with a blue glow within it before looking to Mayor Mare. "W-what is this?" Mayor Mare smiled, then spoke out, "Well, that pendant was with you when you were found. It was wrapped around your egg, and with extensive research from the Princesses they had found that it has properties that could help you on your mission. What it seems to do is allow you to draw upon your inner flame, and use it to open up a Portal of light, to send those of Darkness and Evil back through to their own domains. You have the chance to save this world from destruction, with that in mind, I will personally be working with the Princesses to determine rewards based on the targets and the information we can receive. You must tell us everything no matter how small, for some beings might be able to fool you in so many ways.... So be careful out there.... Spike, you have the chance to be a Hero.... Or the bringer of destruction to our world. WE will be monitoring you to determine if your actions have gone awry, so make your decisions with caution."
Spike looked down at the pendant as he was left with so much to think about. He slowly put the pendant on, and the Mayor spoke out once more, "Last order of business!" She stood up and opened the top drawer of her desk taking something out. She threw a set of keys over to him and smirks, "You have your own house, Applejack and Big Macintosh helped to make you a house nearby the Everfree forest, I hope you don't mind when you are relaxing perhaps you can help keep any stragglers from there out of Ponyville." She giggled softly as Spike could only give a nod and with the final piece of information, he had left the office. "This is too much..... How do I tell everypony?" as if like a light bulb when the sound of the door slamming behind him it made him jump, "Twilight might be able to help!" Dashing from the porch he headed to the library.
He had been running along since he came out of the mayors office, leaving the nearby ponies in a daze when he ran by. Giving the occasional wave and nod of his head as he pushed his way through the streets, "Come on twilight, maybe you can give me some more answers." He had seen the rather large magical castle coming into view, and when he got to the door it flung open in his face, his snout pushed back in agony before he tumbled down the stairs from the impact. Upon hitting the bottom, he had landed on his but, seeing as this happened a lot he had grown more of an immunity to it, but... "Ow... That hurt.." He said as he looked up only to have his eyes turn to pinpricks for a moment and looking away with a soft blush on his features.
Twilight had come out of the castle holding a few boxes of books in her hands when she heard the thud at the bottom of the stares, with each thud she knew who it was and grit her teeth with each impact. "Are you alright Spike?" What he had seen was up her skirt, from this angle he could see up her lavender skirt to show the blue panties beneath with a cute little bow. However, Twilights words snapped him out of it as he had looked away catching up to the moment. "Need some help Twilight? You know you don't have to do everything by yourself right?" He stood up dusting himself off as he headed up the stairs to aid the princess of friendship. "Of course Spike, but I need to get these books to the school, I promised to donate books I know through to the end so that way I can expand the youngs knowledge. I especially love the history texts and scrolls in here, but its time I let them go to those who could better use them don't you think spike?" She stated before relenting and letting him take the boxes, their walk beginning as he moved alongside her.
"So, Twilight do you know what I can do to start my journey?" These words caused Twilight to tense up and thoughts pushed to the front of her head as she knew what she had to say. "Spike, I cannot tell you where to go, you will know when the time comes, there will be moments when rifts appear throughout equestrian, hay maybe not even here perhaps in the griffin empire and such. You are in charge of making these decisions by yourself, and I know for a fact that since you are 18 now, you will have a lot on your mind. As an adult, you need to make your own decisions, but also know when to rely on those around you for help. So no I do not know sadly, however I will say that for now I believe you have a week here. Use it to the fullest, and then see if a rift will appear for you." She smiled towards him, as he set the boxes down, they had gotten to the school house but it was vacant since it was Sunday.
Spike was left in a stunned silence, the one pony he wanted to get help from couldn't help him? "What am I going to do? Don't I need to be better prepared for this? Shouldn't I train up on physical skills, maybe mag-" The sound of a pony in the distance snapped him from his thoughts, as Sweetie belle ran up to both Twilight and Spike, "Hey there Twilight, Spike! What are you doing here today? I thought you had some more important business like the pa-" Twilight had swiftly used magic to cover her lips, as Spike scratched his head then looked over to her. "Heh heh, yes sweetie belle, we do have more important business right now, like Planning out how his next week will go staying here in ponyville!" She said the last portion with gritted teeth causing sweetie belle to catch on, and the magic being release. "Alright, well Spike I have a surprise for you tonight, please come by Sugarcube corner at 7 okay?"
She twirled around in a happy giggle, as spike had been looking her up and down. Sweetie belle had grown rather well, her mane similar to that of Rarity's and her figure having expanded out, to a rather large bust perhaps a Double D? While her waist had slimmed and when she turned to run off he got a good view of her full rear. Looking back to Twilight she gave him a coy smile. "Already looking at Mares huh Spike? Just barely 18 and My wonderful assistant is finally showing interest in mares!" this caused spike to instantly blush and shake his clawed digits in front of his face, "N-No Twilight you got it wrong I just can't help it. I mean, she grew up so well! I just...." His words dying down to a mumble Twilight simply lead the way, "Well Spike lets go get some lunch its noon and I am sure you haven't eaten in all your excitement yet huh?"
Spike had taken a moment to think about it and Twilight was right, he hadn't really eaten anything and as if on cue his stomache made a rather large noise expressing his interest. Twilight smirked, "Alright lets head back home and get something to eat huh?" With a jump to his step and a salivating maw he nodded, "Yea! Lets have some pancakes, I will make them and if possible I should have some Ruby and Sapphire flakes since its my birthday?" He looked eagerly to Twilight, causing her to sigh and giggle a bit, "Alright Spike, but don't get used to it, its only because it is your birthday." With a fist pump they had arrived home, but once there everything was dark. He looked around inside the castle, "Hey uh twilight, did you forget to open the curtains or something?"
He felt around for the light switch but instead he grabbed onto something causing a feminine moan to sound in front of him. A blush spreading across his face and his heart beginning to race, he began to clutch a bit and move this weird feeling around in his hand eliciting more moans in response. He quickly moved back then squeaked out, "S-sorry I don't know what came over me I was just looking for the light switch!" He moved along and with a few more feet he laughed, "Got it!" The light switched turned on and when he turned around there was all of ponyville gathered into one spot. "Surprise!" Confetti blowing everywhere with party confections, and poppers even food all along the tables. He had happily, laughed before he thought for a second then looked over towards where he had felt that feeling, his eyes jolted open in another form of surprise. The mare standing there, was none other then Fluttershy! She was hiding behind her mane and he could see some small bit of blush crossing her face. Putting two and two together, he blushed hard and moved to the refreshment table. Everypony beginning to enjoy the party, with all sorts of ponies dancing on the dance floor, some off to the side, even some just eating and playing adult games.
He headed to the refreshment table and then looking around carefully, grabbed a cup of punch for himself and Fluttershy. Wanting to nip this in the bud as soon as he could, he turned around to see a few stallions surrounding her. He looked around to see that Twilight and Pinkie Pie were too busy dancing to notice, Rainbow Dash and Applejack were having an arm wrestling competition, with which there seemed to be no clear victor and Rarity who was talking with Sweetie belle about something in the back that was causing her to blush. With a sigh, he headed over to fluttershy and the large stallions.
"Hey there, beautiful why don't we all ditch this party and go out to have a little fun of our own?~ Perhaps we could even swing by your place and spend the night together?" The other 2 stallions were laughing as the large one in front was pressuring Fluttershy, " N-no thank you, I am here for Spike and I don't think I- um, like the way that you all are moving so close?" She squeaked a bit, as the stallions moved their heads a bit closer, "We all heard you moan, we don't know what caused it but we aim to find out.~" As they moved in, Spike moved up and using his tail flung it around the large front stallions legs, and leg swept him as he did so he kicked him in the throat causing him to have troubles breathing. Spikes pupils were dilated and red, he seemed angry and Fluttershy could tell he had heard what they were wanting. Moving back a bit scared, she saw how spike moved. The two stallions that were beside him simply blinked at how quickly their boss was taken out and freaked running out the front door.
The music had stopped abruptly, and everyone was staring at Fluttershy and Spike, Twilight rushing over with the others of the mane 6 spoke out. "What happened here?"
"These Stallions were not taking no for an answer when Fluttershy wanted to enjoy the party. They wanted to pressure her and bring her out to leave the party with them..." This caused Twilight and the others to gasp slightly before she got slightly angry and with spikes help brought the large thug into guard custody. It had been a few hours now and the sun had just finished setting as everypony now was Standing outside, the others finally went in leaving Twilight, Fluttershy and Spike, "Will you be alright? This is your party after all..." Spike simply nodded to Twilight as she gave a smile and headed in. Fluttershy however did not and moved forward tapping his shoulder. "U-um.... Spike?"
"Yes Fluttershy?" He didn't seem to turn around obviously affected by what happened a bit. "T-thank you Spike... For helping me out in there..." She stated before moving forward as Spike looked up into the night sky. "Its alright Fluttershy, I am sure you would have done the same for me, if I was getting unwanted advances. Did you see the sky out tonight? The stars are even more vibrant then usual and I can tell Princess Luna put a lot of thought into the sky tonight. Perhaps, one day I can see myself up there.... Its always been a dream of mine, to be one with the night sky and its beauty... Ever since I got to really enjoy it that night when you and everypony left me alone during the Grand Galloping Gala and I had been left at Donut Joes." Tears began to stream down his face, as Fluttershy put a hand to her mouth and slowly moved to wrap her arms around him pulling his head down to hold in her loving embrace. However, Spike felt something as the tears fell, his face was on something soft like a pillow. Opening his eyes, he went beat red, as Fluttershy was holding his head to her breasts. Jumping back in surprise and a yelp he chuckled a bit to Fluttershy who simply tilted her head in confusion. "Sorry about that Fluttershy, j-just....." He sighed softly as he looked her in the eyes, "As you know coming of age Twilight has noticed I have started expressing interest in ponies..." He had an embarrassed look as he scratch the spines on the back of his head in a nervous habit.
A soft whisper spoke out, "I don't mind..." Spike looked around thinking somepony else was watching them but all he saw was Owlicious, and then his head looked over to Fluttershy, "D-did you say something Fluttershy?" With a nervous twitch of her arms against each other, she had a blush on her cheeks once more, speaking loud enough for him to hear. "I said that I won't mind!" Spikes jaw had dropped but before he could register anything that just happened, Fluttershy had lunged forward in a leap as her lips now placed upon his own. Causing Spike to fall backwards from it all, Spike was taken aback by the sudden approach of Fluttershy, as he tongue had pressed against his scaly lips, he didn't want to deny her he felt that he couldn't... Something inside of him was boiling up inside and he began to kiss back parting his lips to coil his tongue around her own as he closed his eyes enjoying the moment of their tender moment. The night sky illuminated above, there was a set of eyes staring down at them before jumping off along the trees.

Sorry for the delays between chapters I have to really think about how I am going to do them since I am not too inventive on things all the time. Next chapter, perhaps we will see some clop of Fluttershy and Spike? Or will it be a date and some highjinks occur, anyways see ya next time guys! I hope you all enjoy!
