Twilight was pacing in the main meeting room of her crystal castle. She was a little nervous. Ember was coming over for a diplomatic meeting, and Twilight needed to make sure that this went well. She didn't want a repeat of last time, when Ember started eating the walls of the crystal castle. It had been expensive to replace the chunks.

Twilight had also gotten a few messages from Rainbow Dash, saying that they needed to meet. Twilight had scheduled them to meet after the meeting with Ember. Speaking of Ember, she was just landing on the porch of the meeting room that Twilight was in. Ember's scales gleamed under the sunlight, not that she was showing off much skin. Her black shirt and shorts clung to her, showing off her curves without showing everything off.

"Hello, Ember!" Twilight said.

"Hello!" Ember said, her grin wide and a little creepy looking. Twilight knew Ember was still a little embarrassed about eating part of the castle, despite Twilight insisting that it was ok. As Ember and Twilight sat down, Ember started talking.

"So, I've recently started hearing about a fusion spell that you've been working on," she said. "I don't know the rules about it, or how it works, but I've been thinking that this might be an effective way to connect dragons and ponies more effectively. Plus, it'll probably give me some more insight on the things you ponies do." Twilight nodded.

"That could work out pretty well," she said. "I'm not entirely sure if I'm able to fuse you with another pony, but I'm deffinetly up for trying. Sunburst, one of the scientists in the Crystal Empire, is actually doing some experiments on that now." Ember nodded.

"Cool," she said. "Now, how do we choose a fusion partner?" Twilight shrugged.

"Who are you interested in fusing with?" she asked. Ember thought, tapping her chin, thinking about Twilight's other friends. After a few moments, Ember grinned and snapped her fingers.

"What about that Rarity girl?" she asked.

"Rarity?" Twilight asked. "You want to fuse with Rarity? I thought you would've chosen Rainbow Dash or Applejack."

"I actually saw Rainbow Dash outside, talking to a griffin outside," Ember said. Twilight looked confused.

"A griffin?" she asked. "That must be why she wanted to talk with me. Anyway, I'll take you over to Rarity's later, if you're sure that you want to fuse with her."

"Yeah, I'm sure," Ember said. "It should be fun." Ember grinned. "I want to see how ponies have fun."

Several minutes later, Rainbow Dash and Gilda were talking to Twilight. Rather conveniently, and interestingly, it was also about the fusion spell. Rainbow Dash was trying to convince Twilight to fuse herself and Gilda together, not that Twilight really needed much convincing.

"And it would be pretty cool, right?" Rainbow Dash was saying. "Besides, isn't Thorax doing a bunch of fusion experiments?" Twilight nodded.

"Yes, and I'm going to do it!" Twilight said. Rainbow Dash looked slightly disappointed.

"I really thought that you would disagree more," she said. "Not that I'm complaining, though."

"So, we're getting fuse?" Gilda asked.

"Yes," Twilight said. "Not right now, but I will fuse you two."

"Nice," Gilda said, her beak somehow forming a grin. Gilda and Rainbow Dash had started getting closer ever since the Cutie Map had sent Rainbow Dash and Pinkie to Griffinstone.

"So, when are you going to do it?" Rainbow Dash asked. Twilight smiled.

"Rather conveniently, I'm fusing Ember and Rarity in about half an hour," she said. "So if you two can be at the Carousel Boutique by then, that would be great."

"I don't know where that is, actually," Gilda said.

"Don't worry, I'll take you there," Rainbow Dash said.

Half an hour later, and everyone was waiting for Twilight. Rarity had let everyone inside, though she was a little skeptical about Gilda. While Pinkie and Rainbow Dash trusted her (for the most part, anyway) Rarity still was a bit suspicious. Twilight had sent Rarity a note saying that Ember was interested in fusing with her, and asking if Rarity wanted to fuse again. Rarity had said yes. Rarity felt honored that the Dragon Lord wanted to fuse with her, especially since Ember was a few sizes larger than Rarity, not that Rarity would ever admit she thought that. As everyone waited for Twilight to arrive, Rarity talked to Ember about how the spell worked. Rarity wasn't able to explain much about it, but she did warn Ember that they were going to have to get naked. But after a few minutes, Twilight arrived.

"Sorry I kept you all waiting," she said as she set down some of her papers and bags. Rarity wasn't sure if she liked all the stuff that Twilight had brought, but knowing Twilight, it was probably related to science. As Twilight finished setting down all of her stuff, she turned aroun and spoke again, her cheeks reddening slightly. "So, Gilda, Ember, Rainbow Dash, in order for the fusion spell to actually work, and fuse you together, you'll all need to get naked." Ember nodded, having been told this, but Rainbow Dash and Gilda looked nervous.

"Really?" Gilda asked. "Like, how necessary is getting naked?"

"Absolutely," Twilight said. "Otherwise, there would be some problems with the fusion, and I don't want to hurt either of you." Gilda nodded in partial understanding, but still looked nervous.

"I'm not going to get recorded or anything, am I?" Gilda asked. Twilight shook her head.

"Of course not," she said. "I'm going to be taking notes on the fusion, but I'm not going to get a camera or anything." Gilda nodded.

"Good," she said. "Do you need us to get naked now?" Twilight nodded. As the four girls in front of Twilight started taking their clothes off, Twilight started mentally preparing the fusion spell, and decided to fuse Gilda and Rainbow Dash first. Rainbow Dash was trying not to feel jealous about the drastic size change between her own small chest and Gilda's much larger chest. Soon enough, it was going to be the same.

"Ok, you two ready?" Twilight asked, looking at Rainbow Dash and Gilda. Both nodded. Twilight smiled as her horn started to glow. "Good." As the spell reached its climax, Twilight released the spell, bringing Rainbow Dash and Gilda together in a bright flash of light. As Twilight's vision returned, she gasped as she saw the new form that the two of them had made, while also charging up the spell for Rarity and Ember.

"Oh, I'm going to need a lot of cloth," Rarity said.

"Are we going to end up looking like that?" Ember asked.

"I hope not," Rarity said. Twilight was finishing up with the spell, and she asked if the two if they were ready. They said yes, and Twilight released the spell, bringing them both together in a bright flash of light. As Twilight's vision cleared (again), she realized that Rarity really was going to need a lot of cloth.
