She closes her eyes and begins to hear voices that makes her stand up, she rises up on her feets and begins to walk back inside. As she walks through the corridors people is ignoring her after what happened at the fall formal. She continues walking to she get to music room, she meets up with Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rarity and Fluttershy. Sunset sighs and sits on a chair, “are you okay Sunny” Rainbow asks. “Nothing, only that i can’t stop thinking about what happened at the fall formal” Sunset says, “well no one is going to forget what happened” Fluttershy says. “I know” Sunset says as she looks down at her feets. Sunset rises up from her seat telling her friends “i need to go, i volunteered to show a new student around the school”, it was a smart idea anyway since the new one could get to know the new Sunset Shimmer. The girls greeted Sunset good luck and she walked out of the door, at the main hallway there was a boy with black hair with a hood jacked and looked up to the glass ceiling of the school. The hallway were empty since everyone went to the cafeteria eating, Sunset walks up to him and asks “hi are you the new kid i am supposed show around?” the boy turns his head from the glass ceiling and looks at sunset replying “yes, i am Hal Malcolm”. “Canterlot High is a great school so i am sure you’re gonna like it here” Sunset says “oh i will, more then my old school” Hal says. Both are walking down the hallway where Sunset is telling Hal all the classrooms “That’s the science lab, and there is the computer” the red haired girls says. Hal turns his head to all the places where Sunset is pointing her fingers at, “do you know where the library is?” Hal asks Sunset. “Yes it’s down the hall to the left” Sunset replies, “thanks” Hal says to the red haired girls. “I am Sunset by the way” Sunset tells Hal “nice meeting you Sunset, ” Hal replies as both shook their hands. “And the cafeteria is down the corridors by the way” Sunset tells Hal “thanks i begun to get a little hungry” Hal tells Sunset. “I am just going to the library” Hal says, “okay cool” Sunset says as Hal walks down the corridors to find the library. He turns around at gets eye contact with Sunset, he smiles which makes Sunset blush and gives him a smile back. At the cafeteria, Sunset sits down with Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie pie. Applejack asks Sunset “so did it go?” “i don’t know, but he was pretty nice to me” Sunset says. “How was this dude” Rainbow asks “well he asked me where the library is” Sunset tells her friends. “Maybe he is into reading and studying” Rarity says, “maybe, i just hope no one has told him about what i did before he gets to know the new me” Sunset says as she lies down her head on the table. “Relax darling, he maybe won’t believe what people tells him” Rarity tells Sunset. “Maybe” Sunset says as he turn her head up to look at her friends. “I just hope no one has told him yet” Sunset says, she rises up from her chair and walks out of the door out of the cafeteria. Sunset walks down the corridors and finds the library, she walks into the library and sees Hal on a table on his computer. She walks to him so she can know him better. She sits down and Hal looks away from his computer to look at Sunset Shimmer “hi remember me, i was the one who showed you around the school?” Sunset says. “I remember you, i memorize everyone i meet” Hal said “it’s weird but that’s how i know people better”. Hal begins to feel a little embarrassed telling her this, he holds it inside and looks a little away until. “Sounds like a good way to know people” Sunset says, “well it kinda” Hal says. “So what are you studying?” The red haired girls asks, “nothing much” Hal said. Sunset looks a little bit down, she thought that someone has told him a about what she did at the fall formal. Hal looks at Sunset and asks her “are you okay, you look a little bit down?” Hal said and Sunset replies “i am fine”. “Because i see a girl who want to escape her unforgivable action of the past” Hal said, Sunset looks at Hal with a steer that he might know about what she did. “How did you... “ Sunset asks “i don’t know what you did but i know that you don’t let the past destroy your future” Hal says. Lucky enough no one has told him and Sunset sight in relief, she looks Hal and he begins to gives a little smile. Sunset blushes and smiles to him “that’s good advice Hal” Sunset tells him “i know” Hal replies. Sunset gets a message on her phone from Applejack asking her to meet her after school. Sunset rises up from her seat telling Hal “i gotta go see you next time?” “yes sure, it’s nice to get to know you” Hal tells Sunset. She walks out of the library and when she’s gone, Hal begins to opens up a file that shows him blueprints of an robot arm with weapons. Weapons like the one from the transformers movies and the TV Show. The school was over and it was already weekend so everyone was free. At the parking lot the girls were discussing what they were gonna do this weekend. Sunset didn’t talk much as she was outside the conversation. As the girls talked she turned her head to see Hal coming out of the school and into the parking lot. He walked up to his car which was a Subaru WRX Sti from 2006, Hal took out his keys and opens the car. He turns his head to see Sunset Shimmer, He waves his hand and smiles to her. Sunset smiles back at him a and waves hello. Hal takes his backpack and puts it into the back seat and jumps into the car driving of. Sunset looks at the driving car, Sunset begins to hear Applejack talking to her. She turns her head to look at Applejack “Sunset are you alright?” Applejack ask, “i am fine Applejack” Sunset replies. “Hey should we have party Pinkies house?” Rainbow says, everyone agrees about the party “i just hope…” Rainbow says as she is getting interrupted by Sunset “it’s fine people won’t know i am there”. Sunset folds her hands and breathes heavily, she really don’t want to be there but she have to so she doesn't spoil the fun for everybody. People still remembers what happened at the fall formal so it is possible that people will leave the party when she arrives. Chapter 2 A New FriendshipAt Pinkie Pie party, everyone is having a blast. Vinyl rocks on her DJ board and everyone dancing. Sunset sits outside the house. She felt a little bit cold and lonely, until Hal sits besides her. “Sounds like everyone is having a blast in there” Hal says “yeah it is” Sunset replies as she turns her head to look at Hal. Both of them gets eye contact and Hal begins to ask Sunset “why aren’t you at the party?” as Sunset replies “the music was just to loud”. “I totally get that, but that’s not the reason why you’re out here right?” Hal says as Sunset smile disappears, “but why are you here?” Sunset asks. Hal replies “it got boring at my house so i just came here” Sunset chuckles and looks away to look at the street. Hal does the same, “but really why are you out here in the dark?” Hal asks as Sunset replies “you know what you said at school about i was that kind of person that want to escape her past?”. Hal replies “yes”, “well i am out here cause people still won’t forget what i did, that if a goes inside that room i will spoil the party” Sunset tells Hal “my friends is the only one who forgave me for what i did”. “We don’t get that a lot in other schools” Hal says, Sunset chuckles and asks Hal “how was your old school anyway?”. Hal really don’t want to tell about his old school so he tells her “i will rather not talk about my old school, i kinda hated it every moment of my old school”. “I understand” Sunset says, Hal takes out a liquor bottle which were made of metal. Sunset sees the bottle and gets a little shocked of what she saw and looked at Hal “is that liquor?” she asks, “yeah” Hal says. “Do your parents know about this?” Sunset asks as she didn’t want Hal to get in trouble, “i don’t know how to tell you this, but i live alone, my parents are dead”. Those words made Sunset feel sorry for Hal, “oh my god i am sorry, what happened?” Sunset asks. “My mother died from cancer when i was young and my father died in Iraq during a firefight” Hal told Sunset, that story made Sunset feel sorry for him “Am sorry” she tells him. “After my father's death he wanted the military to give me his dog tag” Hal says as he pulls it out from his jacket. Sunset looked at the dog tag and saw the name (Harold Malcolm). Hal looked at the dog tag and Sunset leaned a bit closer to Hal, Hal took his arms around her shoulders. Rarity walks out of the door and sees Sunset with Hal. Hal removes his arm away from Sunset’s shoulders and both are turning their heads to look at Rarity, “what’s going on Sunset?” Rarity asks “nothing Rarity, we’re fine”. Rarity looks at Sunset and then at Hal, she walks back into the house back to the party. “Who the hell was that?” Hal asks as he looks at Sunset, “it’s just Rarity, and friend of mine” Sunset says as she also looks at Hal “she’s really into fashion if you know what i mean”. Hal and Sunset begins to laugh, when they stop laughing they begin to rise up and walk a little bit away from the house to get more privacy. They walks up to Hal’s car, Hal takes out the liquor bottle from his pocket and takes a drink from it, “i am not sure you should drink that” Sunset tells Hal. “Just try it a little bit, just take a sip it won’t hurt” Hal says and gives Sunset the liquor bottle. The Red haired girl told Hal "i properly shouldn't drink, i mean i barely know you" "Properly a good idea i mean i don't expect you to accept liquor from an high schooler" Hal said in a british accent. Sunset just grabbed the bottle and removes the top, she takes a drink from the bottle. “You live a really rogue life Hal, and were you talking in a british accent” Sunset says after drinking from the bottle. “Yeah but sometimes you gotta live dangerous, that’s how you live an interesting life. And i have a british ancestry” Hal tells the red haired girl while he walks in front of Sunset, “you got it Hal” Sunset says. “Yeah, i have traveling the world often” Hal says, it surprised Sunset and she looked up from the bottle. “Really?” Sunset says “yeah I've been to japan and Africa so I've learned a lot of things traveling” Hal tells Sunset. “That’s awesome Hal” Sunset tells the boy “yeah, i have a lot of friends in these countries” Hal says “maybe you can get to meet them”. Those words have Sunset a smile but she remembered about her past and hoped that Hal doesn't know about what she did at the fall formal. If he did then i would ignore her like any other. Sunset didn’t think about it much at took the top and slammed it together and gave it back to Hal, Hal grabbed the bottle and put it into his pocket. Hal leaned back to the fence behind him. Rainbow walks out of the door of the house and turned her head to see Sunset on the street. “Hi Sunset, what are you doing?” Rainbow asks, Hal and Sunset looks at Rainbow as she walks up to Sunset. “Rainbow Dash i want you to meet Hal Malcolm” Sunset tells Rainbow Dash, Hal reaches his hand to shake Rainbow Dashes hand. Rainbow reaches her hand out to give Hal a handshake, both shook their hands as Hal tells Rainbow Dash “nice meeting you Rainbow Dash”. They stopped shaking hands as Rainbow asked Sunset “are you coming into the party?, we’re kinds worried about you”. “I am fine Rainbow” Sunset said, “okay Sunset, just come if you want” Rainbow said and walked back into the house. “She was nice” Hal said to Sunset, “she is, she’s pretty loyal to everyone so you would have her on your side” Sunset says “sounds like a great friend” Hal tells Sunset. Sunset smiles as Rainbow is a really loyal friend. Hal begins to look up at the stars of the night skies, Sunset looks at Hal when he looks up to the night skies. “What are you looking at?” Sunset asks Hal, Hal replies “up to the night skies” as he point his finger up. Sunset looks up to the skies as Hal tells her “there are billions and trillions of star systems in the universe, that one of them there is a planet that is inhabiting life on it’s own”. “That’s interesting” Sunset says as she up to Hal and stands besides him. Hal begins to hold Sunsets hand, Sunset blushes and looks at Hal. Hal looks at Sunset, they’re looks up to the skies again and the stars. Chapter 3 Never Lose Faith In Your SelfA week after the party, Sunset and her friends are at sweet shoppe drinking frappuccinos. Pinkie begins to get a brain freeze, the girls laugh and Sunset looked out of the window and saw Hal walking down the street with a black hoodie and headphones covering his ears. She waved her hand but Hal had headphones on so he didn’t noticed her. At Canterlot high Sunset was walking down the Hallway still being ignored by everyone, some of them gives sideways glances of her and whispers to each other. Sunset begun to walk a little faster down the corridors until she sees Hal talking to Trixie. Sunset hid behind a wall and overheard what they were talking about. "I am telling you Sunset Shimmer turned into a demon and nearly turned everyone her into mindless zombies to take control of an another world" Trixie told Hal. Sunset was scared, her heart pumped faster then normal as now Hal knows about her past. A few tears begun to fall down her eyes, she removed her tears when she heard Hal laughing. She looked and saw Hal hitting he knee and fell to the ground laughing even more. Sunset got confused, why was Hal laughing. Hal got back on his telling Trixie "oh my god Trixie that's hilarious" "it's true you gotta believe me". Hal's laugh disappeared and clenched his hand into a fist hitting the locker beside him "that's the most ridicules thing I've ever heard!!!, whatever she did it must be harsh to make people make up stories" Hal said and locked his locker and walked away from Trixie. Sunset smiled in relief, Rarity was right. He wouldn't believe it if someone told him. Sunset begun walking to Trixie saying "well he didn't believe that story" "he i will find a way to convince him Sunset Shimmer" Trixie said and tossed a smoke bomb on the floor. She began to cough and Trixie was gone. Out on the soccer field, Hal was watching the Wonderbolt soccer practice. Sports didn't interest Hal but he liked to watch people training. Sunset walked up to the benches and sat next to Hal. “One of the student told me this craziest stories, she told he that you turned into a she-demon and turned to every student at canterlot high to mindless zombies in a success to rule a pony world, i mean how stupid is that” Hal told Sunset “ i mean whatever you did really made people to come up with stories to embarrass you in front of new people”. Sunset looks at Hal with a little fear in her eyes Hal turns his head to look at Sunset, “what?” he asks “that is what i want to talk to you about that” Sunset told Hal. “Wait don’t tell me that… you seriously turned into a devil?” Hal said. “Yes i really don’t wanted to tell you but since you know... “ Sunset said when she got interrupted by Hal “look that’s in your past, sometimes you gotta let go of the bad and try to predict the future by creating it” Hal told Sunset. “That last one was quote from Abraham Lincoln” Sunset told Hal as she giggled a little bit “i know but these people might lose faith in you, remember to never lose faith in yourself”. Those words made smile and both began walking away from the soccer field. The soccer team was done practicing and packed up and ready to leave, Spitfire saw Hal walking with Sunset. Spitfire was really confused is that why would anyone walk with Sunset Shimmer. But Spitfire didn’t care about it and walked away from the field. Hal and Sunset walked to the fence opening, Hal opens the fence and let’s Sunset goes first. Hal does this like a gentleman, like ladies first. Chapter 6 Part 1 Road To FloridaAuthor's Note There is a part 2 to this story Chapter 6 Part 1 Road To Florida The School was already ending and it was going to become to summer, every student is at the gym and principal Celestia is on the stage telling the students to have a good summer. "I would wish everyone here at CHS a good summer" Celestia said, every student in the gym applauded and cheered. Students begun to walk out of the school, the mane 6 was standing in front of the statue talking about their road trip to florida. "So Sunset are you sure that you wanna come, since we have Spitfire, Soarin, Thunderlane, Fleetfoot, Silver Zoom and High Winds are going to be a part of this trip?" Applejack asked Sunset. "Of course i want to come to Florida" Sunset said. "Okay y'all i will get the bus and we'll start the trip" The farm girl said. "And i hope it's cool that i brought with me a friend on the trip" Sunset said. The girls looked at Sunset Shimmer, they were surprised but a bit shocked. "Yeah i wished i told you but i have been keeping it to myself" Sunset said. "Who is he?" Fluttershy asked. "You'll meet him when we begin to hit the road" Sunset said. "That would be awesome" Rarity said. Sunset Shimmer ran down the street to Hal's house, when she's there she sees Hal's car parked in the driveway with the trunk open. The new diffrience with his car is that it has a push bar. Hal walked down to the car with his luggage packet. Sunset walked to Hal telling him "are you ready?" and Hal replied "totally ready Shimmy". People were waiting on Sunset Shimmer to arrive, while they were waiting Spitfire walked up to Rainbow Dash asking her "Rainbow Dash can i talk to your for a second?". "What is it Spitfire?" Rainbow asked "Well, don't take this personally but it's about..." Spitfire was interrupted by Rainbow Dash "If this is about Sunset Shimmer then i don't know why you are on this road trip" Rainbow Dash said a little quite so she didn't attract any attention from the other girls. "I really want to go on this field trip, but what happened at the fall formal..." Spitfired said and stopped talking a little bit for a moment. "That's all in the past " Rainbow tells Spitfire. Spitfire sighed and begun to think a little bit about "you're right, i am sorry for bringing it up" she told Rainbow Dash. Rainbow smiled and patted Spitfire on the shoulder. Sunset was walking up to the parking lot, and walked back to Applejack. "Where is your friend Sunset?" Rainbow asked, "he needed to do something first but he told me that we will catch up with us on the trip" Sunset told the girls. "But anyways should we go now?" Sunset said, everyone cheered and walked into the mini bus and drove off. Everyone was sitting on their seats ready to go to Florida, enjoying the warm beaches and a lot of fun. Sunset sat with Applejack who was driving, Applejack begun to be curious and asked Sunset "when is this friend of yours gonna catch up us?". Sunset replied saying "he will catch up, he has a car of his own so he will catch up", "well i'll say you made a quite a friend" Applejack said. "Thank you Applejack" Sunset said, a blue subaru Impreza 2006 model drove on the road and got in front of the bus. Sunset knew it was Hal driving the car, Sunset phone started to ring. Sunset picked it up and saw Hal's number, she answered "Hal?" is the first thing she says. "Seems like i catched up to you guys after all" Hal said, Sunset smiled. "How did you know it was us on the bus?" Sunset asked, "i know a lot of things, just don't question it" Hal said. "I need to hang up i need to focus my eyes on the road" Hal told Sunset and hanged up the phone. "Who was it?" Applejack asked, "it was Hal, my friend i was talking" Sunset replied to the farm girl. After a long drive, they stopped at a gas station to full up. Hal walked out of the store with food in his arms. He walked to the car and puts the snacks in the car. "So you're Sunset's friend huh?" Rainbow said when she walked up to Hal. "And you are the famous Rainbow Dash" Hal replied, because he knew who she was and that her Rainbow hair gave her name away. "Wait haven't i meet you somewhere before?" Rainbow asked, she begun to remember meeting him outside Pinkie Pie's house. "Yeah we meet at your friends party a few months ago" Hal told Rainbow Dash. "Oh yeah, it's nice to meet you, Hal a friend of Sunset is a friend of mine" Rainbow Says and both gave each other high fives. Everyone was ready to drive, Rainbow Dash walked back on the bus. Rarity begun to walk back to the bus when she saw Hal, "aren't you that waiter at that restaurant?" Rarity asked "yes that's me" Hal said. Rarity didn't give a second thought and walked back to the bus, Spitfire walked up to Hal asking him "you're a friend of Sunset right?". "Yeah why" Hal asked, "well i thought Silver Zoom, Soarin and Thunderlane could sit with you and the ride to florida?". Hal thought about it and said "sure" without seconds thoughts. Soarin and the Wonderbolt boys walked to Hal's car, Soarin and Hal shook hands. "Nice meeting you Hal" Soarin said, "nice meeting you to bro" Hal said. The boys sat inside the car and everyone drove off. As they hit the roads Thunderlane asked that Hal has any music they can put on. Back in the bus Rainbow Dash asked Spitfire, "why did you ask Hal that the boys could sit with Hal on the trip?" Spitfire replied "cause i thought they could might interact with Hal a little bit". "That makes sense" Rainbow Dash said. The tire on the bus exploded and they stopped and parked to the side of the road, also lucky for them they were driving in the dessert. Hal locked at his mirror and saw the bus stopping at the side of the road. He turned the car around like he was drifting. He drove back to bus and stopped the car to the side of the road. He walked out of the car with the other wonderbolt boys, they walked to the bus. Every girl walked out of the bus. Hal looked at the flat tire and told the other's "do you guys have a spare tire?". "Yeah in the back, let me just go grab it" Applejack said, Hal looked at the sun going down. "it's beginning to become night maybe we should put a campfire for the night" Hal said to the others. Hal rubbed his eyes, he walked of the hood and saw Sunset sleeping on the hood. Hal just let her sleep and walked to the bus to wake up the others, he knocked on the window and a few people begun to wake up. Spitfire rose up from her seat and saw Hal outside the window, she waved her hand to him and he waved back. Everyone in the bus woke up and the doors to the bus opens, the other students walks out of the bus to stretch a little bit. Applejack looks at Sunset sleeping on the top of the Subaru's hood, she turns to Hal asking him "why is Sunset on the top of your car?" and Hal replied "she fell asleep on the car last night". "Looks like she slept well" Applejack said, "yeah she did" Hal said. Everyone begun to hit the road, Sunset sitting inside the bus with the other girls and Hal with the other boys in the subaru. The boys listened to a lot of music. She remember exactly what happened, they were sitting on the top of Hal's car under the stars. Sunset leaned down on her seat, she didn't know how the feeling was but that she liked the kiss. It was pretty intense, but they have known each other for months. They meet each other in secret and Hal has been giving life advice to Sunset. The boys had a big blast, they sang along with the song listened to until the next song. Soarin took out his phone to take pictures. He took a picture of Hal holding his fingers up showing the peace sign, everyone begun to cheer, Hal took up his phone, he was still keeping his eyes on the road so he would crash. Applejack said, Pinkie Pie burst to the front of the bus to see. They finally arrvied at Florida, they parked in a nearby beach. A lot of college teens and high school students were having a lot of fun there Everyone walked out of the their vehicles and was heading to the beach. Hal stod a little behind to just watch, "aren't you gonna go swim in the ocean?" said a red haired girl behind Hal. "I am just watching, back at my old school i was the kid that would stand in the background watching kids play alll day" Hal told Sunset. "Really, didn't anyone ask you that you wanted to play with them?" Sunset asked, "no, i had a few friends but it's a long time since i saw them" Hal told Sunset. "What's their names?" Sunset asked, "their names are Wasp, Radcliff, Bayblade, Leo Paint, Daniellla Parker, Volt and Mixmaster" Hal told Sunset. "If i was anyone, i wouldn't be on Wasp's bad side but he is a nice person " Hal told Sunset as advice to not mess with Wasp. "Volt is an expert in electricity and Bayblade is a master sword fighter and is a total party ape" Hal told Sunset. "Wow, then Bayblade is your version of Pinkie Pie" Sunset said. "Yeah but he can be a little violent sometimes, so don't challenge him to a sword fight to the death" Hal told Sunset. "Understod" Sunset said. "And when you mean don't get on Wasp's bad side, what did you mean by that?" Sunset asked Hal, "i mean that he dosen't like to be called a little bug, and if you're trying to punch him first" Hal said "he will dodge it and punch back". "Seems like you got your own version of Fluttershy, only that Wasp is really tougher" Sunset said, but she wasn't saying that Fluttershy wasn't tough it's just that Wasp has the guts to fight back. Sunset walked away from Hal to join her friends, Hal was just observing his new pals having fun. After the others had a lot of fun at the beach, they went to an ice cream to get some icecream. They walked down togheter talking until there was a man on the top of a building on the edge of a ledge. "Holy Shit, what is he doing?" Spitfire said. People begun looking up on the man, people begun to shout (don't do it) but that wouldn't stop the man. "Has someone called the police?" Hal asked qa random person. "Yeah but he would be death by the time they arrives" the other person says. He ran back out to the man and begun to sing while playing the guitar. "Yeah you got a whole croud to sing along" Fleetfoot said. Hal smiled and feelt greatfull for helping someone. The whole gang were at an hotel sleeping after a really fun day. Hal was sitting at his bed room with night clothes and with his laptop on his lap. He was about to go to sleep when he heard a knock on his door, He walked to the door to see who it was, it was Sunset Shimmer. He opened to door and the first thing he asked is "hey Sunset what do you want?" he said calmly. "I just wanted to say that what you did today was heroic" Sunset said, "thank you" Hal said "I didn't know you were such a good singer" Sunset told Hal, "well i usually sing during my spare time". "Wait you have a swimming pool?" Sunset says surprised, "you gotta have something to do in your free time" Hal said. "You can come if you want" Hal said, "thank''s Hal" Sunset told Hal. "No problem Shimmy" Hal said, "Shimmy?" Sunset said as she got confused about the name. "Can i call you Shimmy, cause it's a cute nickname and fits really well" Hal told Sunset. "Sure you can call Shimmy" Sunset told Hal and blushed by the nick name. Sunset was at Hal's house, she walked up the door way and knocked on the door. No one came to open so she texted Hal. Hal told her to walk to the backyard, Sunset walked into the backyard and saw the swimming pool with and garden shelter at the corner. Hal was sitting at the shelter drinking tea, Hal saw Sunset and waved at her. Sunset walked to the garden shelter and begun to sit down. "You're really living the life Hal" Sunset said "yeah i live my life one quarter mile at the time" Hal said and put his tea cup on the table. He looked at Sunset "get it, Dominic Toretto from the fast and the furious" he said "i get it, i love those movies, not as an action film but an movie about family". Hal smiled and took an another tea cup and filled it up for Sunset. Sunset begun to drink from the tea and put it back on the table, Sunset breathes in the air and looked around the garden. "What is your favorite Fast and Furious movie?" Sunset asked, "the seventh movie of course" Hal said. "Cause to movie told about how long their friendship has came and they have became a bigger family together, that their bond has became stronger and it will never be broken no matter what" Hal said. Sunset looked at Hal with a bigger smile and moved a little bit closer to him. Sunset got a text from Rainbow Dash asking were she was, Sunset didn't know what she was going to answer. She answered that she was busy and couldn't talk. She put her phone in her pocket and moved close to Hal and leaned her head on is shoulders, Hal looked at Sunset and put his arm around her shoulders. Hal and Sunset both got a warm smile at their face and felt happy. Rainbow Dash and Rarity are at Sweet Shoppe street corner, Rainbow Dash looks at her phone and was thinking about Sunset's reply. Rainbow Dash begins to groan about Sunset's reply, "what is it Rainbow?" Rarity Gently asked. "I wonder how Sunset's is going, i kinda feel worried of what has happened to her" Rainbow says "perhaps she needs time for herself, that's all she needs" Rarity says. "Yeah but what something bad has happened to her, maybe... maybe" Rainbow says, she was afraid of what might have happened to her. "Just relax darling, maybe she needed more time for herself" Rarity told Rainbow Dash to calm her down "maybe, i just hope she's safe" Rainbow says. Rainbow Dash is an loyal friend and would never let Sunset down. Chapter 5 Hal The WaiterSunset Shimmer was really hungry, Sunset and Rarity was at an fancy restaurant, it was quite silent. The sound of metal filed the restaurant, Sunset looked from corner to corner. "What is it Sunset?" Rarity asked Sunset, "nothing" Sunset said. "Well since we're here maybe we should order something" Rarity said and pulled up the menu, Sunset pulled up the menu to find something to eat. The waiter comes to the table, the girls begins to order "are you guys ready to order?" the waiter said. Sunset looked up and saw Hal in a black waiter suit, she raised her eyebrow and didn't realize that he worked in a fancy restaurant. "Yeah i would have the salad please" Rarity told Hal. "Sounds nice" Hal said as he gave a thumbs up and notated her order, he turned around to look at Sunset "and for you?" Hal said. "Yes i would have the... spaghetti" Sunset said. "What kinda spaghetti?" Hal asked Sunset. "Spaghetti carbonara" Sunset told Hal, Hal notated her order and said "ooh nice, good choice" Hal said and blinked at Sunset "i'll get you guys some water". Hal walked away from the table. "I gotta say, i love his outfit" Rarity says "Yeah i gotta give it to him" Sunset says. "But anyways since it's soon summer and we have vacation, i thought we could take a cross country trip to florida" Rarity says. "Yeah that's sounds nice" Sunset says. Hal returns to the table with glasses of water, he puts the glasses on the table and fills up the glasses. "Thank you" Rarity says, "no problem" Hal said and walked away from the table. "So i thought you would join us on the trip to florida?" Rarity asked Sunset. "Sure" Sunset told Rarity. "And a few members of the wonderbolts are coming so i just hope it's okay with you..." Rarity was interrupted by Sunset "it's okay, i can come". "It's okay if you don't want to come Sunset, we can drop the trip" Rarity told Sunset. Hal goes to the table with plates in his arms, he puts the food on the table and tells them "here is your food, enjoy" and walks away from the table. Sunset begins to smile, and looks at the food she received. She begun eating the spaghetti. Sunset rose up from the chair to go to the bathroom, she walked from the table to find the bathroom but instead she meet up with Hal Malcolm. "I didn't know you worked here" Sunset told Hal, "what do you expect? i need to pay bills somehow" Hal told Sunset. "That makes sense, but have do you get a lot of money. You told me that you've been traveling the world, so i don't except that you get a lot of money traveling just by working as a waiter" Sunset said. "It is but i bet that you didn't walk her to talk about my job and there are just somethings about me that you don't need to know " Hal told Sunset. "Yeah, i thought that you would join us on the trip?" Sunset said pretty shy, "sure" Hal said. Sunset looked at Hal and gave him a smile "wait really?" the red haired girl said. "Yeah, i have vacation from work and would like the beaches of florida" Hal said. "Thank you Hal" Sunset said and hugged Hal really hard, she stopped hugging him and walked back to the table. Hal smiled and walked into the kitchen, he meet with the chef Antonio. "Is that your girlfriend Hal" Antonio said in a french accent, "she's just a friend, that's all" Hal said. The chef turned around to look at Hal, "listen Hal that girl totally has a crush on you and i know that you love her as well" he said. "How do you know, is it because you're french?" Hal said "Yes and i have seen many people on their honeymoon and teenagers falling in love and i know is that you have feelings for each other" Antonio says. "And what should i do?" Hal asked Antonio "Tell her what you feel" Antonio says and Hal begins to smile of the idea. On the field trip to Florida, Hal will tell Sunset what he feels. Chapter 1 The New StudentIt was a normal day at canterlot high, Sunset Shimmer was on the roof lying on her back looking up to the blue skies. She closes her eyes and begins to hear voices that makes her stand up, she rises up on her feets and begins to walk back inside. As she walks through the corridors people is ignoring her after what happened at the fall formal. She continues walking to she get to music room, she meets up with Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rarity and Fluttershy. Sunset sighs and sits on a chair, “are you okay Sunny” Rainbow asks. “Nothing, only that i can’t stop thinking about what happened at the fall formal” Sunset says, “well no one is going to forget what happened” Fluttershy says. “I know” Sunset says as she looks down at her feets. Sunset rises up from her seat telling her friends “i need to go, i volunteered to show a new student around the school”, it was a smart idea anyway since the new one could get to know the new Sunset Shimmer. The girls greeted Sunset good luck and she walked out of the door, at the main hallway there was a boy with black hair with a hood jacked and looked up to the glass ceiling of the school. The hallway were empty since everyone went to the cafeteria eating, Sunset walks up to him and asks “hi are you the new kid i am supposed show around?” the boy turns his head from the glass ceiling and looks at sunset replying “yes, i am Hal Malcolm”. “Canterlot High is a great school so i am sure you’re gonna like it here” Sunset says “oh i will, more then my old school” Hal says. Both are walking down the hallway where Sunset is telling Hal all the classrooms “That’s the science lab, and there is the computer” the red haired girls says. Hal turns his head to all the places where Sunset is pointing her fingers at, “do you know where the library is?” Hal asks Sunset. “Yes it’s down the hall to the left” Sunset replies, “thanks” Hal says to the red haired girls. “I am Sunset by the way” Sunset tells Hal “nice meeting you Sunset, ” Hal replies as both shook their hands. “And the cafeteria is down the corridors by the way” Sunset tells Hal “thanks i begun to get a little hungry” Hal tells Sunset. “I am just going to the library” Hal says, “okay cool” Sunset says as Hal walks down the corridors to find the library. He turns around at gets eye contact with Sunset, he smiles which makes Sunset blush and gives him a smile back. At the cafeteria, Sunset sits down with Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie pie. Applejack asks Sunset “so did it go?” “i don’t know, but he was pretty nice to me” Sunset says. “How was this dude” Rainbow asks “well he asked me where the library is” Sunset tells her friends. “Maybe he is into reading and studying” Rarity says, “maybe, i just hope no one has told him about what i did before he gets to know the new me” Sunset says as she lies down her head on the table. “Relax darling, he maybe won’t believe what people tells him” Rarity tells Sunset. “Maybe” Sunset says as he turn her head up to look at her friends. “I just hope no one has told him yet” Sunset says, she rises up from her chair and walks out of the door out of the cafeteria. Sunset walks down the corridors and finds the library, she walks into the library and sees Hal on a table on his computer. She walks to him so she can know him better. She sits down and Hal looks away from his computer to look at Sunset Shimmer “hi remember me, i was the one who showed you around the school?” Sunset says. “I remember you, i memorize everyone i meet” Hal said “it’s weird but that’s how i know people better”. Hal begins to feel a little embarrassed telling her this, he holds it inside and looks a little away until. “Sounds like a good way to know people” Sunset says, “well it kinda” Hal says. “So what are you studying?” The red haired girls asks, “nothing much” Hal said. Sunset looks a little bit down, she thought that someone has told him a about what she did at the fall formal. Hal looks at Sunset and asks her “are you okay, you look a little bit down?” Hal said and Sunset replies “i am fine”. “Because i see a girl who want to escape her unforgivable action of the past” Hal said, Sunset looks at Hal with a steer that he might know about what she did. “How did you... “ Sunset asks “i don’t know what you did but i know that you don’t let the past destroy your future” Hal says. Lucky enough no one has told him and Sunset sight in relief, she looks Hal and he begins to gives a little smile. Sunset blushes and smiles to him “that’s good advice Hal” Sunset tells him “i know” Hal replies. Sunset gets a message on her phone from Applejack asking her to meet her after school. Sunset rises up from her seat telling Hal “i gotta go see you next time?” “yes sure, it’s nice to get to know you” Hal tells Sunset. She walks out of the library and when she’s gone, Hal begins to opens up a file that shows him blueprints of an robot arm with weapons. Weapons like the one from the transformers movies and the TV Show. The school was over and it was already weekend so everyone was free. At the parking lot the girls were discussing what they were gonna do this weekend. Sunset didn’t talk much as she was outside the conversation. As the girls talked she turned her head to see Hal coming out of the school and into the parking lot. He walked up to his car which was a Subaru WRX Sti from 2006, Hal took out his keys and opens the car. He turns his head to see Sunset Shimmer, He waves his hand and smiles to her. Sunset smiles back at him a and waves hello. Hal takes his backpack and puts it into the back seat and jumps into the car driving of. Sunset looks at the driving car, Sunset begins to hear Applejack talking to her. She turns her head to look at Applejack “Sunset are you alright?” Applejack ask, “i am fine Applejack” Sunset replies. “Hey should we have party Pinkies house?” Rainbow says, everyone agrees about the party “i just hope…” Rainbow says as she is getting interrupted by Sunset “it’s fine people won’t know i am there”. Sunset folds her hands and breathes heavily, she really don’t want to be there but she have to so she doesn't spoil the fun for everybody. People still remembers what happened at the fall formal so it is possible that people will leave the party when she arrives.
Chapter 2 A New FriendshipAt Pinkie Pie party, everyone is having a blast. Vinyl rocks on her DJ board and everyone dancing. Sunset sits outside the house. She felt a little bit cold and lonely, until Hal sits besides her. “Sounds like everyone is having a blast in there” Hal says “yeah it is” Sunset replies as she turns her head to look at Hal. Both of them gets eye contact and Hal begins to ask Sunset “why aren’t you at the party?” as Sunset replies “the music was just to loud”. “I totally get that, but that’s not the reason why you’re out here right?” Hal says as Sunset smile disappears, “but why are you here?” Sunset asks. Hal replies “it got boring at my house so i just came here” Sunset chuckles and looks away to look at the street. Hal does the same, “but really why are you out here in the dark?” Hal asks as Sunset replies “you know what you said at school about i was that kind of person that want to escape her past?”. Hal replies “yes”, “well i am out here cause people still won’t forget what i did, that if a goes inside that room i will spoil the party” Sunset tells Hal “my friends is the only one who forgave me for what i did”. “We don’t get that a lot in other schools” Hal says, Sunset chuckles and asks Hal “how was your old school anyway?”. Hal really don’t want to tell about his old school so he tells her “i will rather not talk about my old school, i kinda hated it every moment of my old school”. “I understand” Sunset says, Hal takes out a liquor bottle which were made of metal. Sunset sees the bottle and gets a little shocked of what she saw and looked at Hal “is that liquor?” she asks, “yeah” Hal says. “Do your parents know about this?” Sunset asks as she didn’t want Hal to get in trouble, “i don’t know how to tell you this, but i live alone, my parents are dead”. Those words made Sunset feel sorry for Hal, “oh my god i am sorry, what happened?” Sunset asks. “My mother died from cancer when i was young and my father died in Iraq during a firefight” Hal told Sunset, that story made Sunset feel sorry for him “Am sorry” she tells him. “After my father's death he wanted the military to give me his dog tag” Hal says as he pulls it out from his jacket. Sunset looked at the dog tag and saw the name (Harold Malcolm). Hal looked at the dog tag and Sunset leaned a bit closer to Hal, Hal took his arms around her shoulders. Rarity walks out of the door and sees Sunset with Hal. Hal removes his arm away from Sunset’s shoulders and both are turning their heads to look at Rarity, “what’s going on Sunset?” Rarity asks “nothing Rarity, we’re fine”. Rarity looks at Sunset and then at Hal, she walks back into the house back to the party. “Who the hell was that?” Hal asks as he looks at Sunset, “it’s just Rarity, and friend of mine” Sunset says as she also looks at Hal “she’s really into fashion if you know what i mean”. Hal and Sunset begins to laugh, when they stop laughing they begin to rise up and walk a little bit away from the house to get more privacy. They walks up to Hal’s car, Hal takes out the liquor bottle from his pocket and takes a drink from it, “i am not sure you should drink that” Sunset tells Hal. “Just try it a little bit, just take a sip it won’t hurt” Hal says and gives Sunset the liquor bottle. The Red haired girl told Hal "i properly shouldn't drink, i mean i barely know you" "Properly a good idea i mean i don't expect you to accept liquor from an high schooler" Hal said in a british accent. Sunset just grabbed the bottle and removes the top, she takes a drink from the bottle. “You live a really rogue life Hal, and were you talking in a british accent” Sunset says after drinking from the bottle. “Yeah but sometimes you gotta live dangerous, that’s how you live an interesting life. And i have a british ancestry” Hal tells the red haired girl while he walks in front of Sunset, “you got it Hal” Sunset says. “Yeah, i have traveling the world often” Hal says, it surprised Sunset and she looked up from the bottle. “Really?” Sunset says “yeah I've been to japan and Africa so I've learned a lot of things traveling” Hal tells Sunset. “That’s awesome Hal” Sunset tells the boy “yeah, i have a lot of friends in these countries” Hal says “maybe you can get to meet them”. Those words have Sunset a smile but she remembered about her past and hoped that Hal doesn't know about what she did at the fall formal. If he did then i would ignore her like any other. Sunset didn’t think about it much at took the top and slammed it together and gave it back to Hal, Hal grabbed the bottle and put it into his pocket. Hal leaned back to the fence behind him. Rainbow walks out of the door of the house and turned her head to see Sunset on the street. “Hi Sunset, what are you doing?” Rainbow asks, Hal and Sunset looks at Rainbow as she walks up to Sunset. “Rainbow Dash i want you to meet Hal Malcolm” Sunset tells Rainbow Dash, Hal reaches his hand to shake Rainbow Dashes hand. Rainbow reaches her hand out to give Hal a handshake, both shook their hands as Hal tells Rainbow Dash “nice meeting you Rainbow Dash”. They stopped shaking hands as Rainbow asked Sunset “are you coming into the party?, we’re kinds worried about you”. “I am fine Rainbow” Sunset said, “okay Sunset, just come if you want” Rainbow said and walked back into the house. “She was nice” Hal said to Sunset, “she is, she’s pretty loyal to everyone so you would have her on your side” Sunset says “sounds like a great friend” Hal tells Sunset. Sunset smiles as Rainbow is a really loyal friend. Hal begins to look up at the stars of the night skies, Sunset looks at Hal when he looks up to the night skies. “What are you looking at?” Sunset asks Hal, Hal replies “up to the night skies” as he point his finger up. Sunset looks up to the skies as Hal tells her “there are billions and trillions of star systems in the universe, that one of them there is a planet that is inhabiting life on it’s own”. “That’s interesting” Sunset says as she up to Hal and stands besides him. Hal begins to hold Sunsets hand, Sunset blushes and looks at Hal. Hal looks at Sunset, they’re looks up to the skies again and the stars.
Chapter 3 Never Lose Faith In Your SelfA week after the party, Sunset and her friends are at sweet shoppe drinking frappuccinos. Pinkie begins to get a brain freeze, the girls laugh and Sunset looked out of the window and saw Hal walking down the street with a black hoodie and headphones covering his ears. She waved her hand but Hal had headphones on so he didn’t noticed her. At Canterlot high Sunset was walking down the Hallway still being ignored by everyone, some of them gives sideways glances of her and whispers to each other. Sunset begun to walk a little faster down the corridors until she sees Hal talking to Trixie. Sunset hid behind a wall and overheard what they were talking about. "I am telling you Sunset Shimmer turned into a demon and nearly turned everyone her into mindless zombies to take control of an another world" Trixie told Hal. Sunset was scared, her heart pumped faster then normal as now Hal knows about her past. A few tears begun to fall down her eyes, she removed her tears when she heard Hal laughing. She looked and saw Hal hitting he knee and fell to the ground laughing even more. Sunset got confused, why was Hal laughing. Hal got back on his telling Trixie "oh my god Trixie that's hilarious" "it's true you gotta believe me". Hal's laugh disappeared and clenched his hand into a fist hitting the locker beside him "that's the most ridicules thing I've ever heard!!!, whatever she did it must be harsh to make people make up stories" Hal said and locked his locker and walked away from Trixie. Sunset smiled in relief, Rarity was right. He wouldn't believe it if someone told him. Sunset begun walking to Trixie saying "well he didn't believe that story" "he i will find a way to convince him Sunset Shimmer" Trixie said and tossed a smoke bomb on the floor. She began to cough and Trixie was gone. Out on the soccer field, Hal was watching the Wonderbolt soccer practice. Sports didn't interest Hal but he liked to watch people training. Sunset walked up to the benches and sat next to Hal. “One of the student told me this craziest stories, she told he that you turned into a she-demon and turned to every student at canterlot high to mindless zombies in a success to rule a pony world, i mean how stupid is that” Hal told Sunset “ i mean whatever you did really made people to come up with stories to embarrass you in front of new people”. Sunset looks at Hal with a little fear in her eyes Hal turns his head to look at Sunset, “what?” he asks “that is what i want to talk to you about that” Sunset told Hal. “Wait don’t tell me that… you seriously turned into a devil?” Hal said. “Yes i really don’t wanted to tell you but since you know... “ Sunset said when she got interrupted by Hal “look that’s in your past, sometimes you gotta let go of the bad and try to predict the future by creating it” Hal told Sunset. “That last one was quote from Abraham Lincoln” Sunset told Hal as she giggled a little bit “i know but these people might lose faith in you, remember to never lose faith in yourself”. Those words made smile and both began walking away from the soccer field. The soccer team was done practicing and packed up and ready to leave, Spitfire saw Hal walking with Sunset. Spitfire was really confused is that why would anyone walk with Sunset Shimmer. But Spitfire didn’t care about it and walked away from the field. Hal and Sunset walked to the fence opening, Hal opens the fence and let’s Sunset goes first. Hal does this like a gentleman, like ladies first.

"So Sunset are you sure that you wanna come, since we have Spitfire, Soarin, Thunderlane, Fleetfoot, Silver Zoom and High Winds are going to be a part of this trip?" Applejack asked Sunset. "Of course i want to come to Florida" Sunset said. "Okay y'all i will get the bus and we'll start the trip" The farm girl said. "Yeah i wished i told you but i have been keeping it to myself" Sunset said. "Who is he?" Fluttershy asked. "You'll meet him when we begin to hit the road" Sunset said. "That would be awesome" Rarity said. Sunset Shimmer ran down the street to Hal's house, when she's there she sees Hal's car parked in the driveway with the trunk open. The new diffrience with his car is that it has a push bar. Hal walked down to the car with his luggage packet. Sunset walked to Hal telling him "are you ready?" and Hal replied "totally ready Shimmy". People were waiting on Sunset Shimmer to arrive, while they were waiting Spitfire walked up to Rainbow Dash asking her "Rainbow Dash can i talk to your for a second?". "What is it Spitfire?" Rainbow asked "Well, don't take this personally but it's about..." Spitfire was interrupted by Rainbow Dash "If this is about Sunset Shimmer then i don't know why you are on this road trip" Rainbow Dash said a little quite so she didn't attract any attention from the other girls. "I really want to go on this field trip, but what happened at the fall formal..." Spitfired said and stopped talking a little bit for a moment. "That's all in the past " Rainbow tells Spitfire. Spitfire sighed and begun to think a little bit about "you're right, i am sorry for bringing it up" she told Rainbow Dash. Rainbow smiled and patted Spitfire on the shoulder. Sunset was walking up to the parking lot, and walked back to Applejack. "Where is your friend Sunset?" Rainbow asked, "he needed to do something first but he told me that we will catch up with us on the trip" Sunset told the girls. "But anyways should we go now?" Sunset said, everyone cheered and walked into the mini bus and drove off. Everyone was sitting on their seats ready to go to Florida, enjoying the warm beaches and a lot of fun. Sunset sat with Applejack who was driving, Applejack begun to be curious and asked Sunset "when is this friend of yours gonna catch up us?". Sunset replied saying "he will catch up, he has a car of his own so he will catch up", "well i'll say you made a quite a friend" Applejack said. "Thank you Applejack" Sunset said, a blue subaru Impreza 2006 model drove on the road and got in front of the bus. Sunset knew it was Hal driving the car, Sunset phone started to ring. Sunset picked it up and saw Hal's number, she answered "Hal?" is the first thing she says. "Seems like i catched up to you guys after all" Hal said, Sunset smiled. "How did you know it was us on the bus?" Sunset asked, "i know a lot of things, just don't question it" Hal said. "I need to hang up i need to focus my eyes on the road" Hal told Sunset and hanged up the phone. "Who was it?" Applejack asked, "it was Hal, my friend i was talking" Sunset replied to the farm girl. After a long drive, they stopped at a gas station to full up. Hal walked out of the store with food in his arms. He walked to the car and puts the snacks in the car. "So you're Sunset's friend huh?" Rainbow said when she walked up to Hal. "And you are the famous Rainbow Dash" Hal replied, because he knew who she was and that her Rainbow hair gave her name away. "Wait haven't i meet you somewhere before?" Rainbow asked, she begun to remember meeting him outside Pinkie Pie's house. "Yeah we meet at your friends party a few months ago" Hal told Rainbow Dash. "Oh yeah, it's nice to meet you, Hal a friend of Sunset is a friend of mine" Rainbow Says and both gave each other high fives. Everyone was ready to drive, Rainbow Dash walked back on the bus. Rarity begun to walk back to the bus when she saw Hal, "aren't you that waiter at that restaurant?" Rarity asked "yes that's me" Hal said. Rarity didn't give a second thought and walked back to the bus, Spitfire walked up to Hal asking him "you're a friend of Sunset right?". "Yeah why" Hal asked, "well i thought Silver Zoom, Soarin and Thunderlane could sit with you and the ride to florida?". Hal thought about it and said "sure" without seconds thoughts. Soarin and the Wonderbolt boys walked to Hal's car, Soarin and Hal shook hands. "Nice meeting you Hal" Soarin said, "nice meeting you to bro" Hal said. The boys sat inside the car and everyone drove off. As they hit the roads Thunderlane asked that Hal has any music they can put on. Back in the bus Rainbow Dash asked Spitfire, "why did you ask Hal that the boys could sit with Hal on the trip?" Spitfire replied "cause i thought they could might interact with Hal a little bit". "That makes sense" Rainbow Dash said. The tire on the bus exploded and they stopped and parked to the side of the road, also lucky for them they were driving in the dessert. Hal locked at his mirror and saw the bus stopping at the side of the road. He turned the car around like he was drifting. He drove back to bus and stopped the car to the side of the road. He walked out of the car with the other wonderbolt boys, they walked to the bus. Every girl walked out of the bus. Hal looked at the flat tire and told the other's "do you guys have a spare tire?". "Yeah in the back, let me just go grab it" Applejack said, Hal looked at the sun going down. "it's beginning to become night maybe we should put a campfire for the night" Hal said to the others. They all agreed on the idea and begun to put up a campfire while Hal and Applejack changes the tire. To Be Continued...

Chapter 6 Part 3 Third Eye BlindHal woke up, he was still on the top of the hood of the car. Hal rubbed his eyes, he walked of the hood and saw Sunset sleeping on the hood. Hal just let her sleep and walked to the bus to wake up the others, he knocked on the window and a few people begun to wake up. Spitfire rose up from her seat and saw Hal outside the window, she waved her hand to him and he waved back. Everyone in the bus woke up and the doors to the bus opens, the other students walks out of the bus to stretch a little bit. Applejack looks at Sunset sleeping on the top of the Subaru's hood, she turns to Hal asking him "why is Sunset on the top of your car?" and Hal replied "she fell asleep on the car last night". "Looks like she slept well" Applejack said, "yeah she did" Hal said. Everyone begun to hit the road, Sunset sitting inside the bus with the other girls and Hal with the other boys in the subaru. The boys listened to a lot of music. She remember exactly what happened, they were sitting on the top of Hal's car under the stars. Sunset leaned down on her seat, she didn't know how the feeling was but that she liked the kiss. It was pretty intense, but they have known each other for months. They meet each other in secret and Hal has been giving life advice to Sunset. Hal stod a little behind to just watch, "aren't you gonna go swim in the ocean?" said a red haired girl behind Hal. "I am just watching, back at my old school i was the kid that would stand in the background watching kids play alll day" Hal told Sunset. "Really, didn't anyone ask you that you wanted to play with them?" Sunset asked, "no, i had a few friends but it's a long time since i saw them" Hal told Sunset. "What's their names?" Sunset asked, "their names are Wasp, Radcliff, Bayblade, Leo Paint, Daniellla Parker, Volt and Mixmaster" Hal told Sunset. "If i was anyone, i wouldn't be on Wasp's bad side but he is a nice person " Hal told Sunset as advice to not mess with Wasp. "Volt is an expert in electricity and Bayblade is a master sword fighter and is a total party ape" Hal told Sunset. "Wow, then Bayblade is your version of Pinkie Pie" Sunset said. "Yeah but he can be a little violent sometimes, so don't challenge him to a sword fight to the death" Hal told Sunset. "Understod" Sunset said. "And when you mean don't get on Wasp's bad side, what did you mean by that?" Sunset asked Hal, "i mean that he dosen't like to be called a little bug, and if you're trying to punch him first" Hal said "he will dodge it and punch back". "Wow, now i know that i don't need to mess with him" Sunset said as she holds up both of her hands. "Yeah but he is really nice, he love animals and is really kind to his friends" Hal told. "Seems like you got your own version of Fluttershy, only that Wasp is really tougher" Sunset said, but she wasn't saying that Fluttershy wasn't tough it's just that Wasp has the guts to fight back. Sunset walked away from Hal to join her friends, Hal was just observing his new pals having fun. After the others had a lot of fun at the beach, they went to an ice cream to get some icecream. They walked down togheter talking until there was a man on the top of a building on the edge of a ledge. "Holy Shit, what is he doing?" Spitfire said. People begun looking up on the man, people begun to shout (don't do it) but that wouldn't stop the man. "Has someone called the police?" Hal asked qa random person. "Yeah but he would be death by the time they arrives" the other person says. It gave Hal and idea to stop the man from killing him self, Hal sliced away from the group without no one noticing him leaving the group. Hal walked into the building and up the stairs, he could have used the elevator but it's broken and it would take more time. Hal runned up the stairs really fast, he stopped to take breath and continued running up the stairs. He came to the floor the man was. He ran into his appartment and looked out of the window and down to the croud. Hal's friends begun asking them self why are Hal up there" Hal looked to the side and saw the man still on the endge of the ledge. "Hey buddy" Hal told the man "Who the hell?" the man asked "i've already made up my mind so you can't stop me". "Eh okay um..." Hal said without knowing what he was gonna say next. "What do you mean okay?" the man said "No! i don't mean okay, it's just give me a second" Hal was thinking about what he was going to tell the man "Eh um, i should tell you something here um um..." "Man you're terrible at this are you even a cop!?" the man said. "Just give me a second man" Hal told the man, Hal looked back into the apartment and saw a guitar. He ran and picked it up. He ran back out to the man and begun to sing while playing the guitar. I would understand," "Man what was the next bit" Hal stopped the song cause he couldn't remember, the man on the ledge was singing the second verse of the song. "No problem, there so much to life and you got to put past away" Hal told the man, the man hugged Hal with no warning at all" Hal walked out of the building, his friends walked right up to Hal. "That was AWESOME!" Rainbow yelled, "howdy i didn't know you were a good singer!" Applejack shouted. "Nah it was nothing" Hal said, "are you kidding me, you just saved a man's life by the power of music" Spitfire told Hal. "Without you the man would have been dead by now" Soarin said. "Yeah you got a whole croud to sing along" Fleetfoot said. Hal smiled and feelt greatfull for helping someone. The whole gang were at an hotel sleeping after a really fun day. Hal was sitting at his bed room with night clothes and with his laptop on his lap. He was about to go to sleep when he heard a knock on his door, He walked to the door to see who it was, it was Sunset Shimmer. He opened to door and the first thing he asked is "hey Sunset what do you want?" he said calmly. "I just wanted to say that what you did today was heroic" Sunset said, "thank you" Hal said "I didn't know you were such a good singer" Sunset told Hal, "well i usually sing during my spare time". Sunset chuckled. "I need to go to bed now, but before i go" Sunset said, they're eyes got contact and they kissed once again. Chapter 4 Quarter Mile At The TimeThe school was already over and it was already weekend, the girls was standing in front the statue talking about what they are going to do the following weekend. Sunset walked a little away from the group without them noticing. She walked to the parking lot and meets up with Hal at his car, Hal is sitting with his phone in his hand. Sunset walks up to him asking him “hi Hal i wondered what you’re going to do this weekend?” Hal looked up from his phone and looked at Sunset “nothing much, i am just gonna stay at home and swim in my swimming pool” Hal said. "Wait you have a swimming pool?" Sunset says surprised, "you gotta have something to do in your free time" Hal said. "You can come if you want" Hal said, "thank''s Hal" Sunset told Hal. "No problem Shimmy" Hal said, "Shimmy?" Sunset said as she got confused about the name. "Can i call you Shimmy, cause it's a cute nickname and fits really well" Hal told Sunset. "Sure you can call Shimmy" Sunset told Hal and blushed by the nick name. Sunset was at Hal's house, she walked up the door way and knocked on the door. No one came to open so she texted Hal. Hal told her to walk to the backyard, Sunset walked into the backyard and saw the swimming pool with and garden shelter at the corner. Hal was sitting at the shelter drinking tea, Hal saw Sunset and waved at her. Sunset walked to the garden shelter and begun to sit down. "You're really living the life Hal" Sunset said "yeah i live my life one quarter mile at the time" Hal said and put his tea cup on the table. He looked at Sunset "get it, Dominic Toretto from the fast and the furious" he said "i get it, i love those movies, not as an action film but an movie about family". Hal smiled and took an another tea cup and filled it up for Sunset. Sunset begun to drink from the tea and put it back on the table, Sunset breathes in the air and looked around the garden. "What is your favorite Fast and Furious movie?" Sunset asked, "the seventh movie of course" Hal said. "Cause to movie told about how long their friendship has came and they have became a bigger family together, that their bond has became stronger and it will never be broken no matter what" Hal said. Sunset looked at Hal with a bigger smile and moved a little bit closer to him. Sunset got a text from Rainbow Dash asking were she was, Sunset didn't know what she was going to answer. She answered that she was busy and couldn't talk. She put her phone in her pocket and moved close to Hal and leaned her head on is shoulders, Hal looked at Sunset and put his arm around her shoulders. Hal and Sunset both got a warm smile at their face and felt happy. Rainbow Dash and Rarity are at Sweet Shoppe street corner, Rainbow Dash looks at her phone and was thinking about Sunset's reply. Rainbow Dash begins to groan about Sunset's reply, "what is it Rainbow?" Rarity Gently asked. "I wonder how Sunset's is going, i kinda feel worried of what has happened to her" Rainbow says "perhaps she needs time for herself, that's all she needs" Rarity says. "Yeah but what something bad has happened to her, maybe... maybe" Rainbow says, she was afraid of what might have happened to her. "Just relax darling, maybe she needed more time for herself" Rarity told Rainbow Dash to calm her down "maybe, i just hope she's safe" Rainbow says. Rainbow Dash is an loyal friend and would never let Sunset down.
Chapter 5 Hal The WaiterSunset Shimmer was really hungry, Sunset and Rarity was at an fancy restaurant, it was quite silent. The sound of metal filed the restaurant, Sunset looked from corner to corner. "What is it Sunset?" Rarity asked Sunset, "nothing" Sunset said. "Well since we're here maybe we should order something" Rarity said and pulled up the menu, Sunset pulled up the menu to find something to eat. The waiter comes to the table, the girls begins to order "are you guys ready to order?" the waiter said. Sunset looked up and saw Hal in a black waiter suit, she raised her eyebrow and didn't realize that he worked in a fancy restaurant. "Yeah i would have the salad please" Rarity told Hal. "Sounds nice" Hal said as he gave a thumbs up and notated her order, he turned around to look at Sunset "and for you?" Hal said. "Yes i would have the... spaghetti" Sunset said. "What kinda spaghetti?" Hal asked Sunset. "Spaghetti carbonara" Sunset told Hal, Hal notated her order and said "ooh nice, good choice" Hal said and blinked at Sunset "i'll get you guys some water". Hal walked away from the table. "I gotta say, i love his outfit" Rarity says "Yeah i gotta give it to him" Sunset says. "But anyways since it's soon summer and we have vacation, i thought we could take a cross country trip to florida" Rarity says. "Yeah that's sounds nice" Sunset says. Hal returns to the table with glasses of water, he puts the glasses on the table and fills up the glasses. "Thank you" Rarity says, "no problem" Hal said and walked away from the table. "So i thought you would join us on the trip to florida?" Rarity asked Sunset. "Sure" Sunset told Rarity. "And a few members of the wonderbolts are coming so i just hope it's okay with you..." Rarity was interrupted by Sunset "it's okay, i can come". "It's okay if you don't want to come Sunset, we can drop the trip" Rarity told Sunset. Hal goes to the table with plates in his arms, he puts the food on the table and tells them "here is your food, enjoy" and walks away from the table. Sunset begins to smile, and looks at the food she received. She begun eating the spaghetti. Sunset rose up from the chair to go to the bathroom, she walked from the table to find the bathroom but instead she meet up with Hal Malcolm. "I didn't know you worked here" Sunset told Hal, "what do you expect? i need to pay bills somehow" Hal told Sunset. "That makes sense, but have do you get a lot of money. You told me that you've been traveling the world, so i don't except that you get a lot of money traveling just by working as a waiter" Sunset said. "It is but i bet that you didn't walk her to talk about my job and there are just somethings about me that you don't need to know " Hal told Sunset. "Yeah, i thought that you would join us on the trip?" Sunset said pretty shy, "sure" Hal said. Sunset looked at Hal and gave him a smile "wait really?" the red haired girl said. "Yeah, i have vacation from work and would like the beaches of florida" Hal said. "Thank you Hal" Sunset said and hugged Hal really hard, she stopped hugging him and walked back to the table. Hal smiled and walked into the kitchen, he meet with the chef Antonio. "Is that your girlfriend Hal" Antonio said in a french accent, "she's just a friend, that's all" Hal said. The chef turned around to look at Hal, "listen Hal that girl totally has a crush on you and i know that you love her as well" he said. "How do you know, is it because you're french?" Hal said "Yes and i have seen many people on their honeymoon and teenagers falling in love and i know is that you have feelings for each other" Antonio says. "And what should i do?" Hal asked Antonio "Tell her what you feel" Antonio says and Hal begins to smile of the idea. On the field trip to Florida, Hal will tell Sunset what he feels.
