First off, no, this is not about Rock & Roll Music. Second, this story takes place in an alternate universe/timeline of my own creation, a headcanon world if you will. There are both major and minor differences from the canon, certain aspects like changeling biology work differently than canon, and nopony knows how to perform teleportation magic, as for the timeline, major divergence occurs somewhere in season 7, along with certain key events in past seasons unfolding differently. This particular fanfic takes place after the events of “Rock Solid Friendship.” And it kind of blurs the line between Slice-of-Life, and Adventure. So don’t be surprised if it at doesn’t at first glance seem to fit with the adventure tag from time to time. Rated Teen for depictions/issues with what could be best described as, “war” in later chapters, but the depictions of violence will not ‘strong enough’ to warrant the violence tag.

Okay, onto synopsis,

Maud Pie is brought to the Changeling Kingdom when Discord is unable to accompany Starlight and Trixie. However, nopony has any idea how this simple change in the visiting party will go down in history for both the Changeling Kingdom and Equestria. Starting with the discovery of a strange, never before seen artifact. Such a find is bound to bring about great interest to the Changeling Kingdom, and the return of an old foe.
