Author's Note
Though I have done stories that include diapers before, this will be my first attempt at something with more of an ABDL focus. I hope those of you who like that kind of thing enjoy!
Reluctant Regression
"Ah still refuse to believe this..." Applejack murmured grumpily to herself as she squinted up at the underside of a familiar cloud home that hovered over the northern end of Ponyville.
"*Sigh*, Me either darling, but I suppose we did agree to follow through with our end of the agreement." Rarity said, trotting up next to the irritated farmpony as the two of them shared a look of mutual anxiety.
'How in Equestria did she finally do it?!' Applejack thought, still in disbelief that she somehow lost this bet. 'That little pegasus has never come close to winnin one of these bets before!'
Midnight, Roughly Two Days Prior[/i
Applejack gasped for air as she lowered a mug from her muzzle, having just drained it of cider in one long swig. She glanced down to see how the other two were doing, a cocky smirk spreading across her muzzle. Both Rarity and Rainbow Dash were struggling to down the same round she just finished.
And while they were eventually able to pull it off, with Dash slamming her empty mug down on the table in triumph, Rarity looked like she were on the verge of losing her lunch. Her head was continually wobbling and rolling around atop her shoulders, threatening to topple the mare at any moment if she weren't careful.
"Heh, are ya'll sure ya wanna keep this goin?" Applejack snickered, leaning confidently against the large keg standing next to them.
"H-hell yea! Give me a-another!" Rainbow shouted, cheeks permanently tinted red as she then proceeded to try drinking from the same empty mug again.
"One for -HIC!- me too, d-darling!" Rarity giggled hysterically, propping herself up against their table in an effort to stay on her shaky hooves.
The three of them had initially come out to the barn in order to party and celebrate one of the most successful cider seasons the Apple Family had seen in years. But, at some point during the night, after most of their friends had already gone home, somehow the three of them had gotten into a drinking contest. Granted, this was nothing particularly unusual for Applejack and Rainbow Dash, the abnormal addition of Rarity to the mix had been a pleasant surprise. She usually wanted nothing to do with these little competitions.
Colorful bits of confetti still decorated the floor of the barn and a banner was strung across the open barn door. It was the aftermath of your typical Pinkie party, just with a large amount of alcoholic cider thrown into the mix once both the sun and all the youngins had gone down for the night.
"I really don't think ya'll should be pushin yourselves so hard like this. It ain't like either of ya have ever lasted longer than me!" Applejack boasted, though admittedly, she was starting to feel a bit woozy after that last mug full.
"Oh, -Erup- Y-yea?!" Rainbow blurted, nearly falling over as she pointed an accusatory hoof.
"Heh, try as you might Rainbow, you've never been able to pull it off, ya lightweight. Just give up now and spare yourself an even worse hangover in the mornin." Applejack replied with a chuckle.
But before Rainbow could even deliver a retort, some incoherent mumbling got both of their attention. A rather silly expression was stretched across Rarity's muzzle as she braced herself up against the table. Her tongue lolled out the side of her mouth like a dog, letting out a moan of relief as she spread her hind legs slightly.
Suddenly, a forceful stream of light yellow liquid shot out from underneath the fashionista's tail. Most of the mare's urine stream arced down to the ground, but the rest crashed into the underside of her tail and dribbled down the back of her legs.
As a small puddle began to form in the dirt around her hooves, Applejack couldn't hold back her laughter as she watched the fashionista doing something that she'd probably find incredibly humiliating under less delirious and drunken circumstances. Amidst her hysterical cackling though, she failed to notice that Rainbow wasn't joining in on the hilarity.
Instead, Dash was concentrated quite intensely on the small trails of urine that were running down Rarity's hind legs, dampening the mare's pristine coat as they went. Fueled by the alcohol in her system and a pleasant tingling that rose between her flanks, Rainbow Dash suddenly had an idea.
Once Rarity had finally finished unceremoniously emptying her bladder, she rose an eyebrow and looked at the two of them with a dumbfounded look.
"W-why are my legs feel so w-wet?" She stammered, letting loose a very unladylike burp as soon as the words were out.
As Applejack slowly regained her composure, blinking the tears from her eyes, she opened them to find a surprisingly determined pegasus waiting eagerly.
"Wanna m-make a bet?" Dash suggested, much to Applejack's further amusement.
"A bet? Really now? Well hey, if ya wanna lose another drinkin bet, then by all means!" Applejack chuckled, supremely confident that neither of them would last at most two more mugs before passing out. "So, what exactly're we wagerin, Dash?" She asked curiously.
"Whoever l-lasts longest gets to make the other do whatever they say, no matter how weird or e-embarrassing, for a whole d-day!" Rainbow declared, spitting down into her open hoof and holding it out in a familiar gesture the farmpony knew well.
"Heh, sounds good to me!" Applejack laughed, repeating the gesture as she began to ponder what she was going to have Rainbow do.
As their hooves met, the mixing of their saliva officially sealed the bet. But then, before they could separate, a third hoof suddenly joined in on the action, jumping out from the side.
"M-mee too~!" Rarity drunkenly sang in a silly sing-song voice, snorting as she was overcome with a giggling fit due to her dramatic entrance. It also seemed like she'd stuck her entire hoof into her mouth as it was absolutely slathered with spit.
"Uhh, Rarity, are you sure you wanna-"
"YES!" Rarity boomed, cutting Applejack off as she then turned and used her magic to quickly fill up her mug.
Rainbow grinned as the fashionista tilted the mug back, gulping down about half of it before immediately collapsing. Her mug fell to the ground as she was rendered unconscious, snoring loudly with her face down and flanks up in the air.
"Ha, one d-down already!" Rainbow chuckled, turning back to Applejack who seemed a bit concerned for the mare's health. "Now, it's just you and m-me!"
"Hmph, fine then. Are you ready to lose once again, Rainbow Dash?" Applejack asked with a grin, tipping her hat down, unaware that it had gotten swirled around during her laughter.
"I was b-born ready, Applejack!" Rainbow replied, not quite hearing the farmpony's question correctly.
As the two competitive mares turned to fill up their mugs, not too far away, a large red stallion was keeping an eye on their shenanigans. He shook his head as they downed mug after mug of cider, slowly but surely draining the large keg that they'd been provided for the party.
Eventually, one of them did fall. Though, to be honest, it wasn't who he'd been expecting. However, only a few seconds into her triumphant victory cheer, Rainbow was out as well.
Wandering over so he could take them all back to the house, he blushed upon seeing Rarity's embarrassingly exposed position, her tail flicked up over her back.
"...Yep..."
"I still don't get it, how did she win?!" Applejack growled, stomping her right hoof angrily as she refused to believe what Big Mac told her that following morning. Though at the same time, she knew him well enough to know that he hadn't been lying.
"Well, while I myself cannot really remember much of this 'bet' of ours, nor most of that night as a whole, I suppose I did agree to it according to your brother." Rarity sighed. "Oh, but I'm sure this won't be all that bad. She is one of our friends after all." She assured though Applejack wasn't entirely convinced that this would be so simple. Who knew what that mare would have ready for them after finally winning a drinking bet after all this time...
Up above, the front door of the large cloud home suddenly swung open as a Rainbow haired pegasus stuck her head out over the edge of the floating abode. Grinning as she spotted them waiting for her down below, with a flap of her wings, she glided down.
"Bout time the two of you slowpokes got here! I was beginning to think you might've chickened out!" Rainbow chuckled.
"Yea, yea, whatever. Now would ya kindly tell us what nonsense you want us to do for you?" Applejack grumbled, hoping to get this over with as soon as possible.
"Heh, alright. Here, both of you need to drink these first." Rainbow said, holding out two small vials of shimmering blue liquid.
"And... what are these things for?" Applejack questioned, not trusting the strange concoctions.
"I... I do believe that these are the same potions Twilight makes to let us walk on clouds?" Rarity explained, recognizing the vial's contents as she squinted down at one of them.
"Yep, cus the two of you are coming up to my place for the first part!" Rainbow confirmed.
"First part of what?" Applejack inquired with a risen eyebrow.
"Oh, you'll see, hehe~..."
"You want us t-to do WHAT?!" Rarity exclaimed, eyes wide as saucers as she refused to believe what she just heard.
"That's right! The two of you are gonna be my cute little foals for the rest of today!~" Rainbow repeated with a grin as Rarity struggled to form words.
"What do you mean 'little foals"? Applejack asked, dumbfounded.
"I mean that, well... First of all, the two of you are gonna need these." She explained, darting over to one of her dressers before yanking out two large crinkly objects from the bottom drawer. Two adult diapers to be precise.
One was bright orange in color with red frills while the other was white with a purple trim that ran around the leg holes. More noticeably, however, were the two cutie marks prominently displayed over each of their seats, a large red apple, and a cyan diamond. As the owner of the former sudden realized what Rainbow was implying, she felt her face turn red.
"There is absolutely no way that you're makin me put one of those things on!" Applejack boomed, stomping her hoof silently on the cloudy floor of Rainbow's bedroom.
Rarity, meanwhile, was still staring at the foalish undergarments in a stunned silence, blushing deeply as she eyed the padding that was clearly made with her and Applejack in mind. Despite what she was being told to do, she found herself wondering who exactly Rainbow had gotten them from in the first place.
"No worries AJ, cus neither of you are gonna be the one putting them on you," Rainbow said with an almost evil grin.
She gestured back towards her bathroom, it's a door ajar, revealing what appeared to be some kind of supersized changing station which jutted out from one of the walls. A sense of dread washed over Applejack as she gulped.
"Now come along AJ, it's about time I got you all padded up~"
Applejack glared up at the ceiling, doing her best to not acknowledge her current situation. Unfortunately for her, that didn't stop Rarity's whining from reminding her.
"Ugh, these things are far too tight around my hips! And why in Celestia's name do they have to be so big?!" She complained, having just emerged from the bathroom now wearing a diaper of her own.
"Alright Rares, go play with your little friend in the playpen over there," Rainbow instructed her, talking as if she were actually speaking to a foal. "But don't tire yourself too much, we've got a big day planned..."
With that, Rainbow turned and flew out of the room, leaving Applejack glaring at the doorway she'd disappeared through as a grumbling Rarity waddled her way through the open baby gate of their 'playpen' which Rainbow had apparently built for them ahead of time. Various colorful toys and large-eyed stuffed animals filled the small enclosure.
"I cannot believe this is what she's makin us do." Applejack groaned as Rarity slowly sat down. Their every movement was punctuated with more crinkling from their diapers.
"Me either, though she could have at least gotten a larger size. For Celestia's sake, she could barely fit my tail through the hole!"
Applejack rolled her eyes as she tried not to think about the embarrassing process she'd been forced to undergo herself not long ago. There was something so wrong on so many levels about letting one of her friends, especially somepony like Rainbow Dash, diaper her. She wasn't looking forward to whatever bizzare things Rainbow inevitably had in store for them next.
"Hm? Oh my, I can't believe it!" Rarity suddenly gasped, getting AJ's attention.
She'd floated over a few of the toy blocks that were stacked over in the corner of the pen and was spinning one around in the air in front of her.
"Sweetie Belle used to have a million of these, oh aren't they just adorable!" She gushed, bringing over a few more. "I used to play with these with her all the time when she was little... though back then she was always trying to hog them..."
Applejack rose an eyebrow as Rarity began to stack them, starting to construct something as she floated over the rest of the wooden cubes.
"Are you seriously playing with those things?" Applejack asked incredulously, surprised that the mare had so quickly gotten over the whole diaper thing.
"Shush Applejack! I'm concentrating!" She replied, leaning in as she tried to balance one of the blocks at a particularly precarious angle off another.
"Alright, my two little angels, Mama's got something very special cooked up for you~!" Rainbow announced as she returned, carrying a small tray atop one of her hooves. "Oh? I see somepony is already having fun with their new toys." She chuckled, seeing the tower that Rarity was meticulously crafting.
"Yea, she certainly is." Applejack grumbled, crossing her hooves defiantly as Rainbow touched down inside the pen.
"Aww, is somepony feeling grumpy wumpy?" Rainbow cooed, though she was unable to hide a cocky smirk from showing itself for a moment. She was clearly enjoying this. Applejack just glared back at her, much to the pegasus's amusement. "Well, I've got some fresh refreshments for both of you that I'm sure will make you feel all better."
She lowered the tray to reveal two large baby bottles, filled to the brim with milk. Applejack blushed at the sight of the one with three apples on it.
"Ehm, Rainbow, do we really have to drink out of those?" She asked, looking to the side awkwardly as she eyed the large nipple at the top of the bottle.
"Well duh, now get drinking! Little fillies like you need your energy~," Rainbow said, handing them their bottles before turning and flying out of the room again.
Both Applejack and Rarity took their bottles, though neither were particularly keen to start drinking from them yet. Though, much to her dismay, a rumbling from her stomach caused Applejack to debate just getting it over with it now. At least Rainbow wouldn't be here to see it. It didn't help that she hadn't eaten or drank anything yet today...
"Well, I suppose there isn't any harm in at least trying it?" Rarity sighed. "To be perfectly honest, I've always wondered what it would be like to drink from one of these things again." She admitted, lifting her up bottle between her hooves. "Oh my, it feels rather warm..."
Applejack watched as Rarity tilted the bottle up to her muzzle. Hesitating for a moment, she eventually opened her mouth and inserted the nipple. Applejack could hardly believe what she was seeing. Never before could she have imaged Rarity of all ponies not only wearing an adult diaper but also drinking from a baby bottle.
"Mhmm!" Rarity suddenly moaned through the bottle, apparently surprised by how the milk tasted. Popping it back out again, she smiled. "Oh, my, whatever she has added to this, It tastes absolutely divine!~"
"Be sure to drink it all gone! That means you too Applejack!" Rainbow called from outside the room.
"Ugh, fine!" Applejack groaned, finally giving in as she snatched the other bottle, sticking it into her mouth.
However, she quickly found some difficulty. As she bit down on the end, she'd been expecting the milk to just come pouring out, only for a few small droplets to drip out onto her tongue.
"You really have to suck on it if you want to get anything, darling," Rarity explained, having already drained about half of her own bottle as she immediately dove back in for more.
Applejack stared down at the bottle jutting out of her muzzle. This was so humiliating. With a great amount of hesitation, she eventually gave it a tentative suckle, not expecting for the milk to suddenly squirt out. Almost spitting out the bottle from surprise, she froze as her tongue finally registered the white liquid. It was... delicious."
Crossing her hooves in hopes of maintaining some form of dignity, she began suckling on her bottle, trying to hide how eagerly she was trying to drain its contents.
'Well... at least It can't possibly get much worse than this...' She thought, praying that she was right as she turned to see Rarity once again playing with her new favorite toys.
'Right?'
"Look, ahm tellin you, put that block right there." Applejack tried to point out, gesturing to a part of Rarity's block tower that was on the brink of total collapse. "I've built enough barns to know a structural weak point when I see one."
"I know what I'm doing Applejack, I'm not a toddler you know!" Rarity replied harshly, quickly placing a few more blocks precariously on the top.
"Hmph, ya coulda fooled me." Applejack grumbled, looking down at the fashionista's diaper.
'What's gotten her so bothered?' She wondered, having noticed that the fashionista's attitude had taken a sharp turn during the last few minutes ever since she'd finished her bottle. She seemed determined to keep moving around.
Rainbow Dash had returned and was relaxing in a chair next to their playpen, looking over a series of kids books that she'd brought in from somewhere. No doubt they'd be read to them soon. Somehow since then, Applejack found herself getting dragged into the construction of the impressively tall tower Rarity had been working tirelessly on. The mare had found a bunch more blocks in a plastic tub that was buried under a few stuffed animals and ever since had been determined to break some kind of fillyhood record set by her little sister.
"No fighting you two," Rainbow warned in a surprisingly authoritative tone from her chair.
Suddenly, following a sharp gasp, there was a tremendous crash. Swirling around, Applejack found Rarity standing there with one of her hooves hovering in the air over a messy pile of blocks that had once been her glorious tower. It seemed to have fallen directly on top of her too.
"I told ya you should've put something there." Applejack huffed, turning back around as she looked for some kind of clock that might tell her how much longer she'd be stuck in here like this. She failed to notice the almost silent hissing sound that accompanied Rarity's shocked expression.
Applejack's ears quirked as she eventually picked up the muffled sound of liquid splashing up against fabric, glancing back only to discover that Rarity’s diaper was slowly expanding, turning a pale shade of yellow. Suddenly the sound stopped as Rarity forcefully clenched her hind legs around the now wet padding, her cheeks blushing bright red. There was a long silence as the fashionista slowly turned to look back at Applejack with shame in her eyes.
"Rarity d-did you just... wet yourself?" Applejack asked, hardly able to believe what she just witnessed. Rarity didn't respond, rear legs trembling and making it clear that she very much still needed to go.
"Aww, was somepony having a little accident over there~?" Rainbow cooed, looking up from her chair at Rarity's tinted diaper with a knowing smile.
“I-I, c-couldn’t…” Rarity choked, the tears welling up in the corner of her eyes as she swirled around to face them and to hide her shame.
“Hmm, well, didn't look too bad. I don’t think you need a change just yet from just a little one like that.” Rainbow promptly decided, turning away again.
“N-not too bad?!” Rarity scoffed. “Rainbow Dash, I just u-urinated on myself! I demand that you get this thing soaking thing off of me this instant!” Rarity yelled, blushing as her every movement caused the wet padding to brush up against her delicates.
“Ah, ah, no yelling young lady! I'm not wasting another diaper if you've only used the one you're wearing a tiny bit.”
"Wait a darn second, Rainbow, are you trying to say that you're expecting us to actually use these things?!" Applejack asked.
“B-but, it's so-“ Rarity stammered, only to be quickly interrupted by Rainbow.
“No buts missy! Else you’ll be going straight to time-out!”
To Applejack’s surprise, Rarity went quiet almost immediately, seemingly intimidated by the same threat she’d likely been given when she was actually a little filly. And strangely, as much as she wanted to give Rainbow an earful herself, she was feeling equally submissive under the pegasus's glare.
Looking back at Rarity who shifted uncomfortably, she cringed as she wondered what it must feel like to have the thick padding that was taped around her flanks to be pressing up under her tail while also soaked with warm urine. It was a thought that sent confusing feelings through her mind.
She watched as Rarity wiped away her tears and then turn back to stare at the pile of blocks which had triggered her accident. She didn’t dare to sit down, though she was clearly too jittery from holding whatever she had left in her system to start rebuilding. She glanced back at Rainbow, biting her lip as she seemed to be deciding something.
Then, to Applejack's immense surprise, she spread her rear back legs and let out a sigh of relief. Immediately the sounds of urine flooding her diaper resumed, causing it to expand even more. Rarity glanced up at the slackjawed farmpony, giving her an awkward conflicted smile. It seemed to take forever for the mare's bladder to fully empty, finally going silent as the diaper sagged down between her legs.
"Rainbow Dash, I've had another a-accident." Rarity quickly asked, clearly hoping to avoid being stuck in her current state any longer than necessary. "Could you please c-change me now?"
Rainbow peered back over again, grinning as she saw how much Rarity's diaper had absorbed.
'Just as planned' She thought, pretending to act surprised.
"Alright, it looks like you've soaked your diaper well enough for a change~." She hummed.
With a surprising burst of speed, she swooped over, picking up Rarity who yelped as her hooves left the ground. It was easy to forget how strong the mare really was.
"Now, that wasn't so bad, hmm?" Rainbow consoled, playfully patting the rear of Rarity's diaper, causing her to squirm uncomfortably as the soaked padding squished up against her marehood. The blush in the fashionista's cheeks brightened as she tried to ignore how nice it had actually felt.
Flying into the bathroom and closing the door behind her, Rainbow left a shocked Applejack sitting alone, stunned by what she just witnessed. Never before did she imagine that she'd ever see Rarity actually wetting herself on purpose. Especially not in an adult diaper...
Truth be told, she was feeling a slight need to go herself for a while now. Though she had no such intentions to go in her diaper anytime soon... would it really be so bad?
“Aaaaand, there! Haha, I've done it! Take that Sweetie Belle!” A newly changed Rarity declared proudly, taking a step back from her finished creation.
“I gotta say, that ain’t half bad for being made of toys...” Applejack replied, looking up at the extravagant and now quite tall tower Rarity had just finished rebuilding. She'd done it much faster this time around too.
“Well, to be honest, I was a bit 'desperate' before, which may have hindered my efforts just a little..." Rarity explained, sounding surprisingly despite what she recently went through.
"Nmf..." Applejack quietly grunted, tensing her back legs as she resisted another brief wave of urgency.
Up until this point, she’d been able to keep her own diaper completely dry, something she was originally hoping wthat way until this was all over. Unfortunately, however, the need to empty her own bladder had been growing increasingly urgent and at an unprecedented rate.
She tried to hide her desperation, but it was becoming difficult. Unfortunately, it seemed like Rarity had already recognized what was wrong
"You know, it really wasn't all... that bad." Rarity said passively, looking off to the side as she pretended to idly play with one of the stuffed animals.
"Huh? W-what wasn't?" Applejack asked, wondering what the fashionista was getting at as she repelled yet another wave of urgency.
"W-wetting myself... It wasn't as bad as I was expecting it to be..." Rarity hesitantly admitted.
"Oh, uh, good?"
"You know... you'll probably feel a lot better if you just... let it happen Applejack-"
"Not gonna happen." Applejack quickly interrupted, stubbornly clenching her rear legs together. She was determined to not give in and bring herself down to that level.
Unbenounced to either of them, Rainbow had been watching closely from over the rim of one of their 'bedtime stories'.
'It seems we're gonna have to do this the hard way,' She thought, grinning evilly.
"Alright, you two" she abruptly announced, getting both of their attention. "We're going on a little trip for lunch."
"A t-trip?" Rarity worriedly asked, praying to Celestia that she didn't really mean...
"Yep, we're all going out to eat, while you're wearing your diapers," Rainbow confirmed, much to their horror.
"What?!" Both Applejack and Rarity gasped at the same time, aghast at the very idea of being seen in public in their current state.
"That is... unless one of you need your diaper changed first?" Dash continued, glancing over at Applejack knowingly.
Applejack had never felt more embarrassed in her life than she did at this moment, forced to waddle through the dead center of the Ponyville market, wearing a diaper and ready to burst. Rarity trotted right alongside her and had been staring straight ahead ever since they entered the town, her muzzle growing redder and redder with each confused pony that they passed.
Rainbow Dash led them through the market with a constant cocky grin, parading them behind her. As they got to the more dense parts of town, they were met with mostly confused looks, though there were a few suppressed giggles and even a few blushes here and there. Though none knew what was really going on, most correctly assumed that this had to be the result of some kind of bet being lost. With Dash at the helm, it was a safe assumption to make.
It didn't help that Applejack had been practically stumbling as she constantly fought to keep her rear legs pinned as close together as she possibly could.
"R-rainbow Dash, how much longer are we gonna be out here," Applejack asked, practically shaking as she struggled to keep her almost bursting bladder from making this any more humiliating.
Rainbow didn't respond, merely wandering up to the one stand she'd come all the way out here for. Granted, she'd decided to take the scenic route.
"Hey there Clover" She called out to a mare ducked down behind the stand. A dark green maned mare with a lighter green coat poked her head up over the counter, the corner's over her mouth turning up as she saw the three of them approach.
"Ah, Rainbow Dash, I see you've brought two adorable little foals with you~" She giggled, looking over at AJ and Dash with a knowing smile that caused both of them to blush.
"Yep, told ya I'd happen one of these days." Rainbow laughed.
"Well, they are a pair of cuties~. So, what brings you all the way out here today?"
"Lookin for some 'lunch', if you know what I mean," Rainbow replied ominously.
"Ohh~? Really? Takin it that far, huh? Well, I'm sure they'll love the surprise." Clover giggled.
'Why do I get the feeling I'm not gonna like whatever this is...' Applejack thought, gritting her teeth as the pressure in her bladder was becoming almost unbearable. As much as she hated to admit it, there was no way she'd be able to last until the end of the day like this. But she refused to wet herself out here, while everypony in town was watching.
"Well, that'll be 2 bits then," Clover replied, reaching down and fetching a case of small bottles from behind the stand. Each bottle was filled with some kind of milky white substance. Rainbow gave the mare the bits before stuffing all the bottles down into one of her saddlebags.
"R-rainbow..." She suddenly heard Applejack whisper, voice strained. This drew both her and the shop pony's attention. The padded farmpony was blushing intensely as her whole body looked like it trembling. "I r-really gotta g-go. P-please, can we g-go now?" She begged, her hind legs narrowly touching each other as she was barely holding her bursting bladder at bay.
"Not just yet 'little one', we've got one more stop before we can go back home," Rainbow explained, pretending not to notice how desperate the mare was. "Why don't you just relax?"
