510 horsepower. It's a bit much, but I manage it with coilover springs, racing shocks, an angle kit, shock tower braces, and lower suspension and steering braces. I painted them matte black to look apart of the car, and not raise suspicion to my clients or anyone else. I'm a courier, and a driver for hire. Kinda like the transporter, but legal. I Drive a musician around during the day, and deliver packages, and messages during the night. I had just finished my list for the day on the car. It was still Saturday, and after changing the oil, installing an H.I.D. kit, and installing some black ESR SR01 rims, I was bored. I just sat and stared at my champagne colored car and thought of what the dumb asses at night would do with it, and a small part of me longed to do the same, and I shook my head to clear the thought, before looking at my watch. It was 6:21 p.m., and Luna was raising her moon. I sat in awe as I gazed at the beautiful shades of orange, reds, and pink in the sunset. I lived up in a suburban neighborhood called Velvet hills, in Canterlot. It was a normal grid style neighborhood with houses from the 70s. My mother, Chance Wrenchturn was in the Equestrian military, and helped prevent the balefire bomb crisis, and end the war. She bought this house brand new, and gave it to me when I turned twenty-one. I'm thankful that the Crystal Empire found more fossil fuels, and helped stop the conflict, otherwise it would probably be like that videogame, Fallout Equestria. These thoughts occupied me until my cousin, Speed Cardshuffle, landed on my driveway. "Hey Fluke," she chirped. "Hey Speed," I greeted cheerfully. She hugged me, and I hugged back before we pulled apart, and she asked, "How's it going?" "It's going well, but I still miss my mom," I stated with a sigh. "Want to hang out, and get your mind off of it," she asked. "Sure, let's take a ride."

I got sparco pleather bucket seats for the front to match the interior, and kept the rest of the interior, except for the seats, manual gear lever and clutch pedal for the custom transmission I installed. The shift was smooth, and in the corner of my eye, I saw Speed relax into the seat. The car cornered like a big go cart as I drove out of the neighborhood, and the dual exhaust system made the engine sound good, but quiet. We drove down the straight 22nd street until we reached the curvy uphill road of 24th street, about a quarter of a mile down the street, and stopped at a hayburger, joint that overlooked Canterlot, just as the sun disappeared beyond the horizon, and went inside to eat. I had noticed four bucks crowded around an 180sx, as well as a 1997 Subaru Legacy which sounded turbocharged, and a 1996 Acura Integra LS with what sounded like a K20 under the hood. We sat at a booth, and began going through the menu, before the waitress appeared, and asked us what we wanted to drink. I asked for a Sparkle Cola, and so did Speed.

We watched as the kids shut off their cars and heard their rowdy shouts as they entered. "That Lexus was sick," one shouted. "It was nothing compared to my S13," yelled another. "My Integra could take that thing," the third said. The fourth, a griffin, stayed quiet, and the group looked at him, grinning to their ears, "What do you think Olly," the second asked. "I think I want to take my Subaru, and have my dad help me fix the air conditioning before going back up the mountain and writing," the grey griffin responded in a fairly low voice, as if to avoid disturbing the other dining folk. "Awe come on, you know what I mean," the second shouted. "In that case, no, I couldn't," he said. "why not," the third one asked. "Because that's a proper all motor build he's got, plus those shocks and suspension were stiff enough to tell me that they were for racing," Olly responded calmly.
"Whatever you say dude," the second one said.

I stopped paying attention to them and saw that our drinks had arrived. "Huh, I no longer feel hungry," I put quietly. "Me neither," Speed agreed when- "Look what we have here," the second buck with a Brownie on his flank maliciously spoke. "It's the looser with the-" SLAP! The buck was slapped in the back of the head by Olly, who was passing our booth with a wink. "What the hell," he shouted. "Oops, it appears I hit a dumbass," he chuckled. "Ha ha, real funny," the buck seethed before turning back to us and saying, "I want to race you." "I'm not a child, I don't street race," I quipped. "T-ten thousand bits says you can't beat me," He sputtered. I laughed and took a sip of my Sparkle Cola and laughed some more. "No," I stated firmly. "What are you, a pussy," he shouted. "Oh no, an eight grade comeback, I'm so offended. I put a hoof in the air and said, "Check please," before the check appeared on the table, and I left the bits on the check, before Speed and I left the buck, who glared at us as we left, before yelling to us, "I will beat you in a race pal!"

I had just delivered Speed to her residence on the east side of town, before I drove home, but when I entered the freeway, I saw a familiar white s13 being followed by the red Subaru, and yellow Integra. "Shit," I mouthed before jamming my foot down, before shifting into third. It was a lovely sound, that went fom a low growl to a mournful cry, as I took off on the motorway's on ramp. What I was doing, I didn't think about, I just did it. Fourth, 75 miles per hour, as I entered. I passed a truck on the left, and watched as trees passed. I saw the group's taillights, and shifted into fifth. I caught up, and slowed beside the S13, who waited, flashed his high beams, and took off. I was in the lead. Even more so as the the freeway began it's s curve. We took the overpass to the Celestia Turnpike, before taking that turn at 95. We entered the turnpike, and blasted through the toll gate, but I slowed down, and got behind him as he smashed through, and lost control. I avoided him, and kept driving, eventually arriving at the courier service office. Nopony was there, and the sign on the door said that it had been foreclosed, so I went home. On my way, I flipped on the radio, and heard Sam Cooke's Wonderful World come on. I drove until I reached a stoplight and stopped. A Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VII pulled up next to me, and revved his engine at me, so when the light turned green, we took off with him in front, but I passed him up before heading back home. I had beaten him, and the thrill I was getting was undoubtedly incredible. It was awesome, and I didn't want to go home yet, so I re-entered the freeway, and drove as hard as I could. I was catching up to a yellow GT-R33 and passed it by. We hit the interchange, and took the hard curve at 105 mph, and the R was pulling closer, before I pushed the turn at 110, and left him in the dust when the road straightened out, and I hit 150. I laughed, and left the freeway to top off my fuel tank.

I had been called into work by my employer during the weekend, so I had to cancel my normal hang out with Speed on Sunday. My work car was a Mercedes E430 4 matic, and Viola Rosewood was a very boring and plain mare on the outside, other than her well groomed golden blonde mane, and alabaster coat l, and her beautiful green eyes, but I had a feeling that her dull seeming personality was a mask. She'd have a small grin everytime we went over 70, and would occasionally ask about the car. Her parents were strict, and had done a complete background check on me before I was hired. I felt bad for her, still 17, and the reason why I felt bad was because she would sometimes get in my car, covered in bruises, and occasionally rope burn, from who knows what. This time, was one of those times. I gazed sadly at her in my rear view mirror, and stepped down hard on the gas. I knew I had to do this. I hit 70, then 80, and her small smile turned to shock when I hit 90. "What are you doing Fluke," she said in astonishment. "You like going fast right madam," I asked. She seemed to relax a bit, and her small smile returned. "I guess you figured it out," she said in her Trottingham accent. She giggled and I explained, "Well, you smile when we go over 70 madam." We both chuckled before she asked with a hint of excitement, "Is it alright if we go faster?" I nodded and put my hoof down. I saw a matte black charger fly past going the other way and knew that it was not what it said it was with the way it moved. "Did you see that," she exclaimed. "Yes I did madam," I put in astonishment. I looked and saw I was going 100, and kept going until we arrived at a Prench restaurant.
"We've arrived madam," I stated. "Come with me," she insisted. "But, I'm just your driver madam," I spoke, confused. "I made sure that we are the only ones dining here, besides, I'm sure you'd be bored just waiting for me in the car park." I was still confused when she said this, and it made me feel stupid.
"I couldn't exactly ask you out, so I made something up, so I could get to know you."
She pawed at the carpet, and looked at her hooves, clearly nervous, so I dumped my plans of befriending her my way as I spoke, "Ok, I'll join you madam."
Her face lit up with a smile that could've blinded the universe, and squealed in excitement.
"Thank you thank you thank you!"
She squeezed me tight in a hug, but I was too shocked at this, that I didn't return it.

"So, do you street race."
Her eyes were filled with a mix of excitement and wonder as she asked. I poured myself another glass of water and answered honestly.
"I've taken a liking to it."
"That's incredible."
She seemed to light up as she asked, "Have you ever raced against a Nissan Skyline?"
"Last night I had a run in with one, but I think I got lucky."
"How about anything like the new Civic?"
She knew some stuff, definitely, I determined.
"Nope."
"Really?"
"Yep."
"What got you into cars?"
I winced at the question, and she quickly sputtered, "I'm sorry."
"Don't be, you didn't know.
She looked down and pawed at the ground with a hoof before asking sheepishly, "Does this count as a date?"
"It can be what you want it to be madam," I quipped.
"Please, call me Viola." She kept the sheepish tone, and a bright red blush hung on her alabaster cheeks, as she leaned forward, and kissed me.

She pulled back, with her face, now a shade of pink, but she wore a small smile.
"Then yes, it's a date." She spoke in a near whisper as her smile widened slightly, and tears formed and fell as she drew me into a hug.
"What's wrong?" I asked, thinking back to the clear signs of abuse.
"I've just never liked anypony before, let alone a gentlecolt like yourself."
She started sobbing softly, so I hugged her, and rubbed up and down her back, to try and calm her.
MEANWHILE
The Silverstreak Racing School was closed for the obvious reason of it being a Sunday, but that didn't stop the young black griffin and it's owner, a crazy speed fueled buck by the name of Speedy Silverstreak, from sitting at a few desks in one of the three separate buildings along a long, well groomed courtyard, used as classrooms, to speak to each other.
"A champagne Lexus LS400?" The blue buck stated out of pure enthusiasm for a challenge.
"Yep." The griffin, per the norm, spoke quietly, but firmly.
"How much horsepower does it have?" The buck's tail swayed from side to side in excitement as he looked out of the big double pained window, that covered the westward wall of the classroom, at the monstrous, matte black, 965 horsepower, 68 Charger in the parking lot.
"Around four to five hundred horsepower." Speedy's enthusiasm died where it was, and was further shown when he let out a groan, and said, "Luna damnit, I only have two cars with THAT low of horsepower, but tell me she's a good driver!"
"It's a buck," the griffin responded, confused at his mentors outburst.
The griffin looked out at the courtyard as his older brother figure sighed.
There were display cases of race cars among the flowers. From the Audi group b cars, to F1, and even cars like a rocket bunny NSX, but among them all, the one that caught his eye, was his father's old 71 Hemi Cuda with a twin turbo 426 Hemi that had 752 horsepower. It was white, with the hemi decals had been removed, black Hamann Race Edition rims, and an adjustable rear lip spoiler.
"So you still have it?" The griffin asked in ernest.
"I respect my rivals, and the cars they drive. That's what all those cars are out there. My rivals, a piece of them, all on display for those to look and be inspired, so of course I have the old man's car."
The griffin nodded slowly, as Speed stared at a 66 Nova.
"To think I've raced so much, and I'm only 22," Speedy muttered.
"He's a good driver."
"Good."
MEANWHILE
She kissed me again before we entered the property of the Rosewood manor, and departed. I parked the car, and got into my Lexus before driving through the rose lined path back to the street, and drove home. On my way out though, I noticed a familiar white S13, and took off down the street before he could follow me anymore than he had. I sped down the road, before hopping on the freeway, and taking the interchange, before pulling a U turn through a hole in the barriers, and losing him effectively.

12:30 pm
The clock displayed this fact, and It only made me feel tired. "Fuck my life," I thought, as I went thundering past a speeding Toyota Supra at 140 mph. I was about to take exit 101 to my home, but stayed as headlights grew in my rear view. They belonged to a 71 Nova, so I dropped my hoof once more, and began to pull away, until it too, began to speed up. It caught up, but a turn showed itself, and I pulled ahead. I saw two trucks in both lanes, but one was further behind the other. The distance was closing, so I pulled the e brake, and slid throught the space between them, before it closed, and I sped away, leaving the Nova to be stuck behind the trucks. I laughed triumphantly before seeing the S13. It started to rain as I caught up and began to pass as he too, had floored it. He swerved at me, and I kept on going. One foot, two feet, three, four. BAM! He hit my car, and we both lost control. He carened into a guard rail, while I regained control, and narrowly missed a barrier. My alignment was fucked, to say the least, so it was difficult to drive home, but when I got there, my two story four bedroom, yellow house looked sinister. Out front, was the matte gray Nova, and standing next to it was a blue buck. I parked the car in the driveway and began to put a tarp over the car as he walked up.
"That your car?" He yelled through the downpour that soaked the both of us.
"Yes!" I yelled back after putting the tarp on the car.
"My name's Speedy Silverstreak and I want to race you!"
"I'm Fluke Wrenchturn, and I'm afraid I can't, I only have a Toyota Camry now!" What I said was true. My Lexus had damage down the side, and a snapped control arm
"Not what I mean!" He insisted.
"Then what do you want?"
"A worthy opponent!"
"I can't help you!" I yelled as I trotted away.
"Here's my card in case you change your mind!" He hoofed me a card and trotted back to his car, and drove away.
I was tired, and wet, so I went inside, dried off, took a hot shower, and went to bed.
When I awoke to my five o'clock alarm, I was still tired, so I got into my suit, and combed my mane, got into the Camry, and went to a Sun and Moon convenience store to by a Shooting Star energy drink.

"This place is wonderful!"
We stood on the Equestria Grand Naval Pier off the eastern coast, and overlooked the shining sea, and the ESS Marizona battleship. With four big cannons, and a couple AA cannons, it was designed to fuck shit up. It had been stationed in Horsigan during the war, and was reassigned to the Canterlot port when the war treaties were being signed, and the zebras were disarmed. It became monument on the Royal Navy Pier. It was a beautiful sight, just like the view of the old city and it's waterfalls. This was why I hadn't moved to Horsigan nor Manehattan, the classic spires, and buildings, all at the top of a mountain was better than the mountains of Horsigan and the grey buildings of Manehattan. Viola stood on her hind legs, with her hooves on tue railing, and she wore a white sun dress with sunflowers on it, and a sunflower tucked behind her ear.
"Don't you think?" She turned her head to look at me in ernest.
"It's wonderful mad- I mean Viola." I was slightly embarrassed at my mistake, but she giggled before dropping off the rail, and trotting up to me.
"Is there something wrong?" She gazed into my eyes and I met her gaze, and grinned.
"I'm just distracted is all." She pecked me on the cheek and chirped, "Now, let's get something to eat."

I was stuffed, and she was too. Lucky for us, we still had time to get her to band practice, so we got into the car, as Quasimoto's Low Class Conspiracy began playing on the radio. She fell asleep as we passed under Canterlot's waterfalls on highway 39. We arrived as she awoke, and I opened the car door for her as she winked at me, and went inside.
"Hey, she's pretty cute. She single?" I turned to look at the grinning blue buck.
"I don't know if we're an item, but I am pretty stupid." His grin faltered slightly as he said, "Damn."
"I want you to race for me." He gave me a determined stare as he spoke.
"Ok, I'll, not do it." He looked hopeful with how slow I spoke, then I smashed it, and he glared at me.
"Don't fuck with me man, I'm serious." He seethed.
"I need you to teach my driving school a lesson." He stated.
"Why me?" I asked.
"Because you drive like a dead griffin I knew." He said in a low voice.
"He was a private eye with what everypony nicknamed the Albino Baracuda. He called her Shannon." He looked on with a far away look, and I could only say one thing, "Dude, you gotta get layed."
"No shit!" His shout made passing folk stare at us as if we were crazy, but he ignored them.
"Take a ride with me. I'll make it worth your while." He gestured to a beefy offroad spec Bel Air with big tires, and staggered wheels as he spoke.
"No way dude." I said.
"How does five thousand bits sound?" I considered this, and my busted LS400, and nodded.
"Alright." He grinned and chirped, "Alright, let's go." We got in the car, which had the interior looking as if it was supposed to be in space, and I felt myself sink into the bucket seat. The car's pick up showed me why there were bucket seats.
"You're gonna be racing against the seniors of this school, in the Cuda I told you about." He shouted.
"What!" I was utterly confused.
"I wanna see if it's true!" He had to shout over the engine, as we drove.
We arrived at Luna speedway. It was a big course that started on an uphill straight, that ended with a left hairpin, then a short straight into a ninety degree right turn into a left curve into a hairpin right, followed by three S curves that ended in a circle back to the finish. It was surrounded by trees, and had a vast parking lot of drift missiles and other styles of cars.
"I'll be following the pack in my R34." He said as he killed the engine, and walked me over to a tarp covered car. I yanked the tarp, and saw recaro bucket seats in the front of the white beauty. It had S.E.V. Marchal fog lights beside it's four eyes, and everything was clean and polished. The gauges were stock, other than the speedometer, which was a black screen. The interior was black, and other than the bucket seats, and roll cage, it looked natural.
"You like it?" What he asked was an understatement, this car gave me the nostalgic feeling of seeing an old friend, and when he hoofed me the keys, it felt like they were supposed to be there.
"Yeah, I do." I stated with conviction as I stared.
I unlocked the door, and got inside. I felt as if I was supposed to be there as I gripped the wheel in my hooves. I fired up the 426, and popped the hood to see the polished Hemi orange block with the four barrel carburetor. It had twin turbos, that crazy griffin put twin turbos.

I closed the hood, and stepped into the car. I closed the door, and engaged the stage 3 clutch as I drove forward. The wood on the interior was replaced with polished redwood, and the black ball shifter was comfortable in my right hoof. I drove the rumbling V8 to the track entrance, and at the back of the pack of cars from a Honda NSX, an R33, a Supra MK3, an FD RX-7, and an S15.
Speedy pulled up behind me, and the car moved like a phantom as I drove it to the back of the pack. The lights dropped, as I revved my car into it's peak, at 8000 rpm, before taking off uphill. I passed the NSX and FD before we hit the hairpin, and I took the Supra on the outside. The race had only begun as we hit the second straight, and the Supra began to catch up.

I looked to the Supra, and saw the black griffin in the driver's seat. He passed me, and began to catch the R33. I out braked him, and went outside in on the ninety degree right turn, and passed the R33. We took on the left curve above 100 miles per hour, and I dropped down to 60 mph, and hit the hairpin. On the S curves, the car slid, and I hit 90 to 110 mph on the first and second S curves. The Supra caught up, and passed me on the outside. On the circle, I reached 180 mph, before dropping to 120 at the end. I crossed the line at 200 mph, and passed the Supra at the end of the turn. I dropped to third gear, and slid around the hairpin. The wheels spun as I stomped down on the gas, and began pulling away from the pack with the Supra hot on my bumper. I drifted around the right hairpin, and drove faster and faster as I drove around the left curve. The Supra was beside me, and both of our rear ends began to slide out. I pushed the car harder and harder, but so did he. We finally reached the tight S turns, and I angled the car to drive straight through the center of them, and pulled away from the Supra. I finished at 210 miles per hour, and slammed on the brakes. Silverstreak finished in the back with his stock R34, and the Supra driver walked up to my window. I rolled it down, and he spoke, "You drive like my father, who are you?"
"Fluke Wrenchturn." I said.
"You're Chance Wrenchturn's kid?" He looked astonished.
"You knew my mom?" I asked.
"My dad did some work for her when he was a private eye, and they became drinking buddies."
"I'm Oliver Henry Hellfire the third." He reached in and shook my hoof and grinned with bright ocean blue eyes.
"So, you've met my prodigy." Silverstreak spoke as he trotted up.
"Yes sir." I said.
"He's got a lot to learn. Here's your money." He hoofed me an envelope, and I opened it to find my money. I hoofed Silverstreak the keys, as I stepped out of the car, and he hoofed them back and said, "You still gotta drive us back to the concert hall." So we got in, and I drove it back.

"Hey, have fun, and enjoy free tuition from the racing school." Speedy grinned, and took off, and I went back to the Mercedes. I then drove to the front of the concert hall, got out, and opened the door for Viola, and closed it before getting back into the car, and driving away. When we got around the corner, she climbed up front, and kissed me on the cheek.
"Hey Fluke." she chirped.
"Hello." I said.
"What'd you do while I was playing, you smell like high octane fuel." She said after taking a whiff.
"A buck named Speedy Silverstreak made me a deal to race for him for five thousand bits." I said with a grin at the thought of pushing the Cuda to the edge.
"Which car did you race?" She asked with eyes full of wonder, and anticipation.
"A twin turbo, six speed, 71 Hemi Cuda."
"That's crazy!" She yelped.
"It worked!" I exclaimed as we turned onto the freeway.

That night, Speed(Cardshuffle), and I hung out, and cruised around in her 1987 Toyota Corona MKII with an 18rg engine swap. "Is she cute," she chirped as we left the speed shop with the part for my car. "Yeah," I said with a grin. "That's good you uptight bastard, you need someone who can make you happy," she quipped. "Sorry about Sunday, and thanks again for driving me to the speed shop," I said before we stopped at a stop light, and I gave her a hug. We took off, and drove to my house, and that's when Speed turned to me and asked, "Do you still have your mom's Roadrunner?" "I haven't touched it since her accident," I said, downcast at the thought. "That's good, you're gonna need it some day." Her mood had turned serious quickly, and I stepped out of the car, and grabbed the part for my car, and went to the garage, where I had moved my car, and had stored my mom's '73 Roadrunner. It was under a dusty tarp beside my tool chest.
I finished the job, and decided to run the Plymouth. I pulled what looked like a house key with the Roadrunner carved into it. I yanked the tarp and gazed at it's dusty form. It had the blue sky paint job, and had a 426 six pack hemi from 1971, and coilover springs and racing shocks. It had 4 wheel, slotted rotor, four piston, disc brakes, staggered black Work VSXX rims, and it sat four inches lower than stock. The transmission was a seven speed sequential shift with a limited slip differential. The body was fiberglass, and the adjustable rear lip spoiler was carbon fibre. It had a stunt roll cage, and a custom drop zone for the engine, designed by my mom for safety. She was a famous touring car driver, and an aspiring engineer, and in her later years, this had become her weapon. I would run it occasionally to keep it working, and I would even perform maintenance when it required it. Recaro bucket seats, harnesses, and a sparco steering wheel was apart of the professional interior weight reduction, and the gauges were replaced my a screen from a digital one from Autometer. It had twin turbos and 760 hp. I got inside and fired it up, and it greeted me like an old friend as the engine roared to life. I was sure that Speedy would have a field day with me if he had heard about this car, and what it could do. I let it run for five minutes before cutting it off, and covering it up again. I turned off the lights in the garage, and went inside to get some sleep.

When I got home, I was listening to Sweet Emotion as I put on a white floral shirt, a Stetson fedora and an overcoat. I put on my dad's metal mask, and went to the garage after packing my shit. My suitcase fit right next to the fuel cell in the trunk of the Roadrunner, and I closed and locked the trunk before I grabbed my money and left my house keys on the counter. I got in the car, started it, and left before tossing the garage door opener back into the garage. Silverstreak's sister was an undercover cop that would catch both of us, or one of us, and I wasn't going to prison. I went to the shop, where we tuned the car, and I left for the Rosewood Manor. When I arrived, I was buzzed in, and Mr. Rosewood waited on the lawn for the shotgun. "If you've come here for a fight, then you'll lose. I have my daughter under lock and key, and at the slightest whim, I'll have her killed," he sneered with a cocky grin as I parked. "I want to challenge you to a street race. If I win, then she comes back to me," I shouted. "Fine, but if I win, I kill you after you watch her die, but if you win, I'll give you half a million dollars, and my winter home in Marizona," he said with a devilish, toothy grin. "You're on, tonight," I said. "Oh, and your visit is on her hooves, she will be punished," he sneered with a laugh as I glowered at him and said, "Highway 39, ten o'clock," and I drove away.

That night, he arrived in a red '63 Stingray with a pro touring setup. "Nice toy peasant," he jeered. "Nice penis extension dickless, you sure you're enough of a stallion to drive that piece of machinery," I retorted, causing him to glare at me. The light turned green, and he took the lead, but I didn't mis a shift, and caught him quickly. I passed him as my playlist began playing Hell Ain't A Bad Place To Be by AC/DC. He kept up, and held strong on the hard right uphill. The road was uphill, and curved slightly to the left. It leveled out as we passed under the waterfalls and hit 170 mph. There was a truck on the right lane and we drove side by side. He braked and went behind me, as I avoided an oncoming car and he followed. Another hairpin, this time to the left, and uphill. I was pushing hard, and so waz his LSX as we climbed. It leveled out and split into a six lane freeway as we passed Canterlot at 180. We dodged trucks, and I spotted a Lamborghini Gallardo struggling to keep up as we hit 190. He was slowly inching up before he had to shift gears, and I changed into seventh faster. The road straightened from a right curve, and I put my hoof all the way down, and saw a wall of flashing lights from a police road block. "Shit," I muttered. We were now playing chicken with a road block. I saw a ramp on a car carrier. I turned on the police radio on the car, and heard somepony say, "Targets locked," before noticing a helicopter. I dodged the EMP magic, but he didn't, and I took the unblocked exit before shooting past the Princesses castle and seeing more of the sky guard chasing me. I drifted a right turn and almost hit a truck. I pulled the E brake, and went down an alley to the left, and turned right before entering a tunnel. I stopped and waited before turning and going the other way, and hopping onto Route 19, a service road, to the manor.

When I arrived, I took the shotgun Silverstreak had given me, and a combat knife, before going inside, and seeing a suitcase. Inside was ten thick stacks of 100 bit bills that the band said was 50k I closed it, went outside, and put it in the back of the car before going back inside and taking the long downward stairs to my right. I shot a goon who popped out, and heard sobbing. I galloped, and burst through the door to see a torture room. Viola was standing on the tips of her hind hooves with a noose around her neck, in a straight jacket. She was blindfolded and screamed before grunting as her legs began to give out and she fell, choking. I galloped, and cut the noose before catching her and holding her as she cried. I comforted her, and saw that all but her face was bruised or peppered with welts. I removed the noose, blindfold, and straight jacket and she squeezed me tight as she cried into my shoulder. "It's over, you're free," I whispered.
We left the house, after I comforted her, and cleaned her wounds. She had packed some clothes, and took a bunch of money from the library safe, before we left.
The car screamed down the road as I raced to get across the state line.
We entered I-84 to Hoofington and that's when I saw the matte black charger catching up. I stepped on the gas, and up shifted before I began pulling away. He too sped up, then he began to catch up. Friday I'm In Love by The Cure began to play as we raced. A medium left, and he was drifting while I passed him with my car gripping the road. The road straightened out and we dodged five semi trucks before opening up. A medium right, I caught him again with the same tactic. I cut the hairpin bend by driving through the weighing station, and left him one car length behind before he caught up and we tied as we crossed the state line into Ponyvania, and he broke off. We were home free, and Viola smiled as we raced along at 202 mph.

"I can't believe it," Viola exclaimed with wide eyes and an exited grin.
"We're at an actual open race track!" She had jumped out of the car when we had parked, and was now gushing over the cars and the track itself by the racing school, open to the third building, which was the speed shop. We approached the shop, and saw Silverstreak working on an RB26 in front of the GTR that he had used. He looked up and asked, "Hey, what're you doing here?" "I'm here to take Viola racing," I said nonchalantly. Silverstreak dropped his wrench with a gasp. "You're with a violinist prodigy," he sputtered before firmly saying, "and you didn't tell me." "I don't know you that well and-" my confusion was increased as he hoofed us some keys and shouted, "You kids have fun," before laughing. The key I had been given was for a grey Nissan Skyline C210 with an L28 turbo swap, while Viola got a Datsun 510 with an SR20DET.

We both took off from the line, and she took the lead until the turn, because her line went wide, while I went from the outside into the apex as fast as I could corner, and I took first. She caught up though, and had used the same technique on the next hairpin, and hung on my bumper before passing me on the outside of the slow left curve, and I passed her on the outside of the hairpin. The S curves gave me more space until the circle, when she caught up, and we drove side by side. She slightly turned and grinned at me as we exited the turn, and she winked as she left me behind, and crossed the finish line. I was impressed to say the least, and we pulled into the pits, before moving back to the lot, and parking the cars. "That was incredible," I exclaimed with a grin. "I learn from the best," she said with a grin and a seductive wink. I was blown away as the air caught in my throat. She kissed me on the cheek, and ventured to the racing school's courtyard, where the cherry blossoms by the cars were in bloom. She stopped in front of the case for Oliver Henry Hellfire's Albino Barracuda. "So, this is the car," she asked with a small smile, and a hint of interest. "Yes it is," I said with a grin. "It's wonderful," she said. She turned to me, and flicked her tail at me as she passed, and walked with me following, back to the car.

When we got back to the Manor, there were three suited bucks around a silver coated unicorn stallion that was my boss, Danny Rosewood. I parked, and both Viola and I stepped out of the car, before the goons grabbed me, and Danny yelled, go to your room Viola, as he stroked his mustache. He trotted up to me and chuckled angrily before saying with distaste, "You tainted my daughter." Then he kicked me in the face while the goons held me by my forelegs. I struggled to no avail as he kept kicking me. He then summoned a crowbar and slammed it into my ribs until I was gasping for pain filled breath. He tossed it aside, and nodded at the goon on my left, who then snapped my left hind leg, and bucked me in the face as I fell. I cried out, and Danny crowned me with the crowbar before I was shoved into the back of the Mercedes and was pressed between two goons as I was driven somewhere. My body ached, and I was struggling for air. I wheezed and coughed. Every breath was a battle, and staying concious was a war, and I wasn't winning anymore.

They threw me out of the moving car, and onto the front steps of the racing school. I don't know why I looked, but I looked and saw my watch was broken. I heard squealing tires before the goons approached me again, and stood me up on my haunches. I was held by my forelegs again, as a pistol was raised to my head.
"Say your prayers bitch." I closed my eyes. BOOM! CLICK CLICK BOOM! CLICK CLICK BOOM! "I fell over without the support, and slammed my head as my world drained away.

I awoke in a hospital room with Silverstreak and Speed looking at me. "I shot those goons before they killed ya," Silverstreak chirped. Speed hugged me and began sobbing. I was alive! I grinned as a tear slid down my cheek, and I said, "Thank you Silverstreak." "Not yet, we gotta get the bastard who put these goons up to this," Silverstreak said, determined. "It was Danny Rosewood," I groaned in pain as I felt Speed squeeze me. "I'm so glad you're ok," she cried. "They say that you should be discharged tomorrow," Silverstreak said with a frown. "Where's Viola," he asked. "They're gonna hurt her because of me," I said, downcast. "Those bastards," Silverstreak said with a scowl. "I'm gonna kill 'em," he seethed. "No you aren't," I said.
"But-"
"No buts, I'm gonna race him." I was determined.
"What'll that solve!?" Silverstreak yelled.
"I'm sorry, but child abuse is unacceptable and they tried to execute one of my students on my front steps. I just don't think this is even or just," Silverstreak said with a sigh.
"I've got this," I said with a grin.
"If you say so, but if anything goes wrong, I'm busting in there," he said, as I nodded in agreement. "You can take the Cuda," he exclaimed. I shook my head, "I can't, and besides, it's for the students. I have Oliver's drinking buddy's car. A '73 Roadrunner with 760 horsepower," I said with a cocky grin. "We got this," I said. "You two are crazy. I gotta go to work," Speed sniffed before she left.

One year later...

"The shop's already made 2.5 million bits, and have sponsored us to race as professionals in Gallopan! Isn't that great," Viola chirped.
"That's great," I said as we sat on the back porche of our home on Bonnet Mountain, and ate breakfast. "They're gonna call us the Minute Crew, and we're going to be racing on the mountains. We even got Silverstreak on our team, and his racing school will also sponsor us," she continued with a smile. "We got Silverstreak," I asked out of amazement. "It's not official, but I have a feeling," she said. She pecked me on the cheek, and said, "Have a good day at work sweetheart." I then got in the nicknamed, Sky Blue Plymouth, and drove to work.
