You Woke Up At The Break Of Dawn.
“Don’t leave me please.” Applejack whispered into your ear softly, her emerald green eyes closed tightly while her small slender frame cuddled ever so close against you.
She looked so delicate and petite in your embrace, curled up into a tiny ball under your right arm as it made her look even smaller. You couldn’t help but give her a small squeeze, she would give a small coo aloud as you did a smile forming across her lips.
You could not help but smile as well, her body so warm and welcoming towards you as her coat was as soft as fine silk. Surprising as she was the most hard working pony you knew, her mane soft and wavy with the sweet scent of apples wafting from it.
You would gaze out the window and see the sun coming up, the break of dawn was near and you’d have to make an escape soon. Gulping a slight bit at the thought of Big Mac finding you in bed with his little sister, simply picturing yourself being bucked to the moon and back.
“I’m sorry.”
“Sweet Apple?” You nudge her side as she whimpers in deep slumber, burying her muzzle into your chest tenderly.
“I’m not strong enough.” She winced in her sleep, muzzle scrunching up in pain as she seemed to be fighting back something.
You stare and watch as the mare softly shivers in place, her heart racing wildly in her chest as you can feel it thumping loudly against your side. Her breathing becoming shallow as she softly pushes you away with her hooves, you do your best to hold her close.
“Applejack?” You speak a bit louder into her ear, her body becoming tense as she freezes in place.
“Dad?” She mumbles.
“I…”
“I’ve missed you so much…”
“I’ve missed you too.” You sigh and look down in a growing sense of sorrow.
“Bloom asks about you...I don’t know…”
“Tell her to stay strong. Strength is what keeps us all going.” You whisper a tender reply into her ear.
“I can’t...hold the world….I feel so...broken.”
“Don’t baby girl, just do the best you can.” You let the words escape into her ear, arms giving the shaken mare a firm soft hug.
“I don’t want to fail...Mac needs me.”
“Failure is not to try, as long as you give it an effort that is fine.”
“I can’t lose them...I must be strong...never stop.” She gave a soft groan in her sleep, pushing you hard away her body becoming so tense about to break in half from the pressure.
“Work the land!...shackles...sink the dirt...escape….harvest...the...tears.” Applejack gritted her teeth as you winced in pain, pulling close and taking a bucking to the ribs making sure to use all your strength to grab the mare.
Her body sliding off the bed, ready to fall into the abyss below. Nopony ready to catch her, nopony willing to stop her nightmare. You feel a harsh jab into the side, pulling her closer than ever before.
You embrace her so tight, never wishing to let her go.
Her body shivering in fear, yet feeling a sudden embrace causes the mare to feel some peace.You hold her in a tender hug, hand stroking down her mane as you give it your all to calm her down.
“It’s ok to cry, you are not defined by your past. Forge ahead and create your own future, each of you...walk your own paths.” You place a warm kiss upon her forehead, her body going limp in your embrace.
Heart slowing to a calming beat as you hold your breath in silence, the sun lifting high into the sky above. Showering the world in a promise of a new day, a second chance at finding hope.
“Anon?” Applejack yawns with a small squeak, her voice so tired and worn out from days of hard labor.
“Yes my Apple?”
“I had such a odd…” She catches herself and quickly flashes a smile, doing her best to hide away the pain deep within.
“I mean. It’s getting late, you should go before the sun hits the barn.” Applejack gives you a quick but very soft kiss on the lips, her cheeks blushing a light pink as her hidden feminine nature shines through.
You can feel her jump out of the hay filled bed, her slender body giving a long but well needed stretch. You watch in awe at her down to earth beauty, she canters over to a broken mirror and picks up a mane brush in her hoof.
“You know you can tell me anything.”
“Hmmm?” She replies with a raised brow.
“I wouldn’t judge or run, I love you.” you say with a crack in your voice, the mare freezing in place as she opens her muzzle to speak.
“Anon…”
“WHAT THE BUCK!” You can hear Big Mac scream in horror, both you and AJ turning to the barn door that is swung open.
The stallion snorts aloud as he can see your half nude frame in the bed, the same place his sister sleeps. Eyes burning a bright red color as mighty hooves stamp against the ground, his large red frame towering over you.
“Now Big! I have a real good reason.” You tremble in place, tripping over your words.
“One sentence.” He growls.
“ I’ve been sleeping with your sister but…” You try and make sense of the problem at hand, Applejack blushing a bright red color behind her brother.
“Wrong sentence.” He lunges at you as you roll off nude onto the floor, the cover hiding your weak spongy human body now gone.
The crisp morning air so cold against your frail skin, you hear the bed explode into millions of pieces as the stallion swings back up to his feet.
“ThinkaboutwhatIsaidbye!” You yelp out in horror dashing off into the distance, a large red stallion chasing you at top speeds across the rolling hills.
Applejack sighs left behind in her own daze, a single tear rolling down her cheek.
A first tear to be cried on the outside.
