Prologue Friendship is Magic

Cosmos, the Goddess of Harmony, Chaos, God of Discord.

Reigning from distant realms, the two gods had gathered warriors from all lands to lead them in savage war. Cosmos and Chaos were of equal strength, it was believed the conflict would last forever. Two divine powers locked in an endless struggle, each seeking to reign supreme.

Long has the world played stage to their violent conflict, now teetering on the verge of annihilation, but never for a moment striking a balance between the two. The scars of war run deep across the realms, and still these battles rage on, a tempest the eons can’t quell.

The divine conflict between harmony and discord rages on, the fate of the world its promised prize. Fighting to secure it are brave souls summoned for that solitary purpose, champions, cut from a cloth different from those which form the fabric of our world. These warriors from afar are helpless but to do as bid, waging battle after endless battle for the gods who called them here, granted neither respite nor reprieve. Relying on what fragments of their shattered memories remain, they fight to end their conflict, and for a chance to return home, to the worlds they each once knew.

There is a world beyond the reach of humans, which host harmony in a great abundance. Its purity is the goddess of harmony’s last hope for victory for in the oddest and simplest forms in this world lies a secret that could possibly aid Cosmos in her quest for victory.

Chaos, knowing full well of this, now seeks to corrupt this world and blanket it in his evil powers of discord. He now focuses on this world and sends his warriors, while the goddess of harmony sends her only guard and leader of the warriors of Cosmos to defend this world and to find ways to use its distinct, but grand powers to lead them to their desperate and much welcomed victory. Sadly Chaos has already gotten to this world as one of his warriors have corrupted the jealous sister of the princess of this world.

Luckily six chosen friends used six powers that symbolize what harmony is made of, spared her from the fires of endless war, thus defeated Chaos’s attempt to conquer the world. However this is not the last time when Chaos will stretch his hand to this beautiful world.

At the Edge of Madness Chaos sat on his throne and speaks to his protector Garland, A beastly looking knight covered from head to toe in silver armor, his helmet covering his face in darkness shows only two glowing yellow eyes.

"You are sure of this?" asked Chaos, "Cosmos now seeks to protect this world while her champions go seek their crystals to become stronger?"

"Beyond any doubt, a pawn of Cosmos is already there, since he and I are linked in both mind and soul. There is nothing he does that I will not know about." replied Garland.

"The black mare has failed, and she has escaped my sight. It appears that the inhabitants of this world are not as weak as we first assumed." said Chaos, "what is it that Cosmos is planning? Do you know the name of this world yet?"

"I'm afraid not, but we will obtain that information shortly. Also, there should be more inhabitants that would be more than willing to give their allegiance to you." assured Garland.

"Our forces are more than enough to seal this world away, but if it grants us victory then see to it that we stop Cosmos and hurl that world into darkness. You have my permission to move forward as you see fit." ordered Chaos.

At the Orders Sanctuary, Cosmos sat on her throne alone as she thought about what she has done with her guard.

She started to think to herself. “The world must maintain its stability. I…I just feel that Equestria is needed in order to end this conflict. I just wish I didn’t have to involve that utopian society, and to keep my dear friend out of this.” She looked to the sky, "My Warrior, you must obtain the light. The six friends of Equestria share a bond that is strong, and you need to share the same bond that has been forged amongst these friends. You must get it for yourself, then you will have a more happy and meaningful existence."

"Although I would send more Warriors to help you, but for some odd reason they have been dropping one by one in the past hours, and Lightning, Yuna, Tifa, Laguna, Vaan, and Kain are going to stop the manikins." Cosmos said to herself.

In the streets of Ponyville, Twilight Sparkle the purple unicorn and her friend and partner, the baby dragon Spike, were simply walking down the road with said dragon on her back, after a delightful party thrown by Pinkie Pie. To their surprise, a bright flash occurred in the sky that disappeared as quickly as it appeared. Twilight and Spike saw that something dropped from the sky and immediately ran towards where the flash was. Upon arrival, they ended up in the middle of nowhere, but gasped to see that on the side of the road, there was an odd creature laying unconscious. The buzz of this sudden light show was spreading quickly all over Ponyville.

The creature was in fact a human, but the truth is nopony knows what a human is. He was draped in dark blue armor, bears a strange-pointed stick which resembled a sword, and a large dark gold and blue slab of metal which was really a shield. A dark blue metal bowl with two gold horns on both ends lies next to the human's body, which shows that this was really a piece of headgear.

He had strange red hair that covered most of his head and his eyes were closed.

“What creature is it?” asked Twilight, “I’ve never seen it before.”

“Maybe Fluttershy would know.” Spike answered.

“Help it up on my back,” said Twilight, "It appears to be sleeping." Doing so, she lowered herself, and Spike jumped down, put the human on her back, then hopped back up there with it. Twilight rose up and galloped off back to the city. As she rushed past all the locals, they spotted the human, and this special news has indeed spread like the plague. It didn't take long for this news to reach Canterlot as well.
