In-between the events of the movie and Season 8, the Mane Six all agree- it's time for a vacation. And more than willing to accompany them are Capper, Tempest, and Grubber. The general consensus is Oahoof, Haywaii- the perfect place to vacate, right? White beaches, beautiful weather, tropical vibes and activities- for many, the embodiment of paradise.

While they certainly make a couple of new friends and enjoy some of the festivities there, that isn't easy when, for no apparent reason, ponies across Oahoof beginning succumbing to bad luck, which is spreading like a virus across the island. Not to mention, there's a kooky witch doctor on the loose, who's been attacking the residents with curses.

As instances of bad luck start to prove fatal to a few unfortunate individuals and the witch doctor continues to hurl hexes at Oahoof's residents, the Mane Six become driven to stop both before the island descends into complete anarchy. However, when they finally track down the voodoo sorcerer, they learn that more is going on on the island that it seems...
