//-------------------------------------------------------// A small town -by Artist- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Getting drunk //-------------------------------------------------------// Getting drunk Ponyville was a small town and it consisted of a bar and a small shopping mall which wasn’t a lot though for the residence of Ponyville that was enough. The main six were walking into the bar on a rainy cold Saturday evening, The bar was filled with the use of a crowd and a stallion sat at a piano playing the song the piano man. From the outside of the bar the bar looked normal but from the inside it did not look normal one little bit it had tables and chairs in the middle of the room and on the far left corner there stood a jukebox. When the bartender noticed the girls he looked up from his cleaning of a glass. The bartender was a old and gray stallion with a beard and when he spoke he had a very rough voice like he had been smoking too much or drinking too much beer. “Hey there little ladies,” The bartender greeted as the girls sat down. “Yes we would like two beers and one vodka,” Rainbow said to the bartender. “Sure thing” the bartender answered. The bartender’s name was Bill. “So Bill how is life treatin’ you?” Applejack asked. “It ain’t too bad,” Bill answered while pouring the vodka into a shot glass. “So how is the shy one doin?” Bill asked once he had handed Rainbow Dash her drink. “Well it’s safe to say that she didn’t want to come here because last time it was too loud for her,” Twilight exclaimed slowly sipping her whiskey. Ponies were all here for the same reason they just want to to get away from village life for a while. Every pony in Ponyville was here of coarse except for the kids they were all safely tucked away in the beds. “So how was the friendship school going?” Bill asked Twilight. Twilight looked down cast. “Not very well today, the students did not listen to us that is actually why will in this bar drinking,” Twilight exclaimed. Bill leaned on the edge of the bar. “Well I can’t say I know much about teaching but I don’t know we’ll go over things one is you, never ever yell at your students and the other is teaching is very important, so even if they don’t want to they have to go to school” Bill said to Twilight. Bill looked at the clock on the wall that said 8:30. “It’s closin’ time,” Bill said to the ponies who was sitting at the bar. Everypony quietly shuffled out of the bar, once outside Twilight and her friends walked into town. The night air greeted done with a very cold gust of wind. “So, new what? we can’t go back to bill’s because he kicked us out,” Rainbow complained as they were walking. “We can always try and go to Fluttershy’s house,” Applejack said. “Yeah sure why not we haven’t seen her in a while she never comes out was with us drinking,” Twilight agreed. So, they headed in the direction of Fluttershy’s house, which was a little cottage near the ever free forest. Once they arrived at the house, they knocked on the door but when there came no answer and then Twilight knocked again, then still came no answer she then tried to ppear in to the window and what she saw made her heart stop, Fluttershy lying on the ground covered in what Twilight could only guess was blood. So they proceeded to break down the door when the door was broken into Twilight rushed over to where Fluttershy was lying and checked her Pults. “She is still alive, we can save her,” Twilight exclaimed charging up her horn. Since Ponyville was a really small town they did not have medical care so they needed magic to heal injured ponies. When Twilight was finished casting the healing spell Fluttershy opened her eyes. “Hey welcome to the land of the living,” Rainbow joked. “So, I guess you went to the bar without me this time,“ Fluttershy said. “Yes because we thought you would have a meltdown if it was too loud,” Rainbow said quietly. “Truth be told I haven’t had a meltdown in so long I don’t even think I’m autistic” Fluttershy said. “Let’s find out,” Rainbow joked. But Fluttershy did not get Rainbow’s sense of humor to Fluttershy it was like Rainbow did not have a sense of humor. “Rainbow don’t even think about putting loud music on,” Twilight warned. “Come on, Twilight you know I would never do something like that,” Rainbow lied. “Is she being sarcastic?” Fluttershy asked. “Yes she is,” Applejack answered almost immediately. Because of her autism Fluttershy does not understand sarcasm, she also has to stick to a routine if she does not stick to what she gets mad and has one of her melt downs which are not very pleasant for those around her. Rainbow Dash put on loud music anyway even though she was told not to. Fluttershy put hooves over her ears soon as the music was switched on. “Rainbow Dash what is wrong with you,” Applejack yelled. Rainbow Dash was rolling around the floor laughing. “Rainbow Dash this ain’t funny!” Applejack continue to yell. “Oh come on, old-timer there is nothing like a little bit of music to get you in the zone” Rainbow said once she got off the floor. Fluttershy was lying on the floor crying and rocking back and forth, and she was mumbling something but no pony could understand what she was saying. Eventually Twilight who was standing there listening to all that went over to the music and turned it off. “Rainbow what the hell were you thinking you can’t just do that you know Fluttershy doesn’t like loud music, ” Twilight scolded. “OK, I know I am really sorry Fluttershy,” Rainbow said to her companion who was lying on the ground. “We can listen to country music,” Twilight suggested. “No more music” Fluttershy Who had gotten up from the floor said. “OK, but we have to spend our night somehow we can’t just sit here and listen to silence all night,” Rainbow Dash said to Fluttershy. “No more music,” Fluttershy quickly repeated before Rainbow could say another word. And so the friends spent the entire night talking about things they liked. Author's Note This story was inspired by a conversation I had with my mother about going into a bar and drinking.
