Author's Note

This is basically the alternative version of the graveyard but instead it was very dark and it had the Lanterns from the game D'LIRIUM

Lanterns (Alt Version)

As soon Ada exited the cave she managed to get fresh air but the darkness came and it was very dark in the graveyard. She thought it would be easy but it just got worse.

"This is wrong!" Ada claimed.

"It shouldn't be like this!"

Ada walked towards the gate of the graveyard but it was locked but before leaving she saw a spell which can make her sing to see the lost souls. She could either save them or kill them as she used the spell the souls were here.

"What is this?" Ada was completely puzzled over the ghost souls there was and she touched one which got zapped with a lightning bolt sending it to hell.

"Huh?!"

"What's going on?!"

"I can't touch them?" Ada walked to another one but one disappeared and upon disappearing it made a whisper to Ada.

"Thank you." Said the soul upon being sent to heaven.

"This is weird."

"I don't understand this."

Ada was so confused and then the music ended and the souls were gone and they can come back if she sings the lyrics of the song again.

Ada started to walk towards the church but she saw a black pony with no mane and tail.

"Hey! Who are you?!"

The Black pony turned around and it shined the light from the eyes towards Ada but she managed to escape it.

"Sweet Celestia what are these things?" Ada questioned herself.

She took out the book and realizes that they were called "Lanterns" which resemble being blind ponies which can only track ponies down by hearing and smell. If she was caught in the searchlights of the Lanterns, she would become one of them.

"How can I kill them?" Ada tried shooting it with fireballs but somehow they are immune to fireballs so they heard it and all went for Ada.

"Stay back you freaks!"

Ada ran past them without getting seen by them, she managed to escape to the other side of the graveyard and sneaked her way through without getting seen.

She quickly noticed a statue of a dragon pony hybrid with the corpse of Claudia hanging on it with blood circling the statue around it.

"What?" Ada walked towards to the statue of her dead friend Claudia.

"I can't believe that happened...... To all of you guys."

Ada was shocked and she gotten attention of one Lantern after she stepped on the broken necklace glass shard from Claudia and she ran so fast all the way to the entrance gate of the graveyard.

"Get AWAY you fuckin' maniacs!" Ada yelled towards them.

She managed to get away and she found a mysterious shack/citadel for the dead people that were held inside it.

"What's in here?" Said Ada as she went inside the shack which had a statue of Ada carried on the mouth of a gargoyle sitting on a casket open for Ada's tomb.

"Is this..... Me?" Questioned Ada.

A mysterious manly demon voice responded. "Yes."

"So... It turns out, there's no escape and this nightmare will never end?" Ada Asked.

"Yes, Ada. There is no escaping this nightmare." Said the mysterious voice.

"If you leave now you will receive something you will never forget." The mysterious voice said before Ada left.

"I don't care what you say."

Ada started to leave after picking up a red key, she walked all the way down the path but she bumped into another Lantern. She quickly managed to get away from it and ran straight towards the path and two Lanterns started chasing her including the one she bumped into.

"Don't fuck with me!" Ada talked back towards them and she saw one wandering and telefragged it before entering the Church.

She bolted the door so nobody can kill her.

"Sweet Celestia that was close."
