Hello my name is Adam Princeton,why you may ask? Because my dad is a huge he-man nerd and honestly I'm a bit of a fan myself. Infact I'm such a big fan I decided to cosplay as He-man from the 2000s TV show. The problem is, I got lazy and forgot to buy a replica of his sword. So now I'm going to comicon as a swordless He-man. Anyway, I decided to have a look around and browse the booths hoping to maybe find that sword(unlikely but a guy can dream). It was then that my cat poked his head out from the bag I was hiding him in and meowed at me. I know what your thinking what the hell is your cat doing here? Well he has separation issues. Basically I found him as a kitten ,all alone ,and cowering in a moldy pipe. I then caught him,took him home ,and nursed him back to health. Since then he’s always following me around and mooching off my food. So whenever I leave him for a long time,like a day or two, he rips up my rug and pillows, So this time I decided to bring him with me.

I pushed his head back into the bag and continued on. I scanned the booths and found several sets of ranger morphers,anime looking weapons,and other cosplaying objects, and as I was looking at a replica of the dragon dagger from power rangers, I heard an ominous voice from behind me.

“Excuse me ,young man, but it looks like your missing an item from your outfit.” the voice said.

I turned around to see an old man in a concealing brown cloak.

“Huh? Oh yeah um I forgot to buy a power sword replica.” I said scratching the back of my head in embarrassment.

“I see,but fear not I might have just the thing for you.” He said going into the back of his tent and coming out with a replica of the 2000s Sword of Grayskull.

“Wow thanks um how much is that?” I asked.

“For you and your curious furry friend $150.” He said smiling at my cat Cringer,(what else did you think I was gonna name him) as Cringer tried to get out of the bag again.

“Wow thanks! Cringer gimme my wallet.” I told my cat.

Cringer just stared at me.

“No of course not you're a cat.” I said rolling my eyes and grabbing the wallet from my bag. I then pulled out the money I needed and put my wallet away before sealing the deal by handing the merchant the cash, then taking the sword and strapping it's sheath to my back.

“Have a pleasant journey!” The merchant cackled as I felt myself being ripped from this world.

“What no! Damn it!!!” I said as everything faded to black.

When I woke up I was in appeared to be a forest, with the sounds of birds and other wildlife filling the air. Before getting to my feet I looked myself over. It was then that I discovered I was wearing Prince Adam’s outfit from the 2000’s show. I was intrigued to say the least. I got up and looked around. And the first thing I saw was a green tiger with yellow stripes sleeping near to where I had been laying.

“Holy shit!” I said freaking out at first at the sight of the large predator.

It stirred and stretched out as cats do while letting out a loud yawn. This for some reason seemed to greatly surprise the the big cat because it immediately jumped to it's paws.

“What the hell!” The tiger said,yes you read that right. “Why am I green,why am I so big and where is….oh thank goodness there you are Adam I was freaking out there for second! Um when's lunch I'm kinda hungry.” It ,no wait by it's voice is definitely male,he said looking at me with a relieved look.

“.....Cringer?” I asked.

“Yea? Oh I bet didn't recognize me at first huh pal?” Cringer said with a smile.

“Uh yeah this pretty pretty weird I think you've turned into the Cringer from 2000s show only unlike him you can talk like the og cringer,um so how do I look?” I asked.

“About the same, brown head fur,blue eyes,and a stupid look on your face, only your clothes are different.” Cringer said.

“Hey! okay I guess that's fair,so where do you think we are?” I asked.

“I don't know! all I know is I'm really hungry.” Cringer said as his stomach growled.

“You know you can hunt your own food right?” I deadpanned.

“Hey you're right I'll go do that.” Cringer said hopping up in excitement.

“Just don't pick on something too big we can't have you getting injured,Oh! And bring back some for me if you can.” I hollered after him.

“Yea yea see you later mom.” Cringer sassed.

“Hmph.” I said as I watched him leave. I took this moment to really take in my surroundings. I appeared to be in a very dark forest that seemed almost ….cartoon like. I looked over the area where I woke up and saw the Sword of Grayskull impaled into the ground. I walked over and tried to pull it out so I walk over to pull it out. So turns out Adam wasn't exaggerating when he said it was heavy. It took a bit of effort to pull it out and then put it in the sheath on my back,it's a good thing I used go to the gym back home. Another fortunate thing is that I've actually camped out in the woods on several occasions so I quickly got to business getting a fire pit ready. Soon I had a blazing fire going and after that I just had to wait until Cringer got back. About 10 minutes Cringer finally arrived with two unusually plump rabbits in his maw.

“Where'd you find those?” I asked. “ Their way to well fed to be wild.”

“I caught them near a hutt on the edge of the forest.” He replied dropping them near the fire before beginning to eat one that had a dark black fur coat.

I skinned the other one with a knife I found in my pocket and placed it on a spit and began to roast it.

“You know I'm glad we can talk like this Adam.” Cringer said.

“Me too after all you're my only friend.” I said petting him behind the ears.

“Ahhh dats the spot you always seem to be able to get those spots I can't scratch.” Cringer said smiling as he continued.

“Hehe yeah now about that cottage. Was there anyone living there?” I asked.

“I didn't smell any humans but there were a ton of animals living there I even smelled a bear and I think I smelled a pony.” He said.

“Huh maybe all the different scents covered up the human’s scent?” I asked.

“Maybe.” Cringer shrugged.

“Oh was it dark outside? I can't tell because of this canopy.” I asked.

“Yep and there's something weird with the moon.” Cringer said.

“Weird?” I asked.

“Yea one minute it had a horse shaped crater on it and the next it was just a normal moon!” Cringer said shaking his head in disbelief.

“Hmm well that rules out us being on earth.” I said scratching my chin.

“Do you think we should sleep in the forest?” Cringer.

“No, who knows what's lurking in these woods ,after all their obviously not the ones we're used to.” I said.

Cringer got scared and looked around.” Y-you mean like a dog?” He asked.

“Dude your a tiger what dog is dumb enough to mess with you?” I asked.

“You never know!!!” He said cowering a bit.

“Let's go ya big scaredy cat.” I said as put the fire out and walked down the path Cringer took.

“Fine but if Ninja dogs attack us I'm using you as a shield!” Cringer said.

“Ninja dogs really?” I asked.

“What it could happen I mean I’m a talking green tiger.” He said with a blush.

“Fair enough.” I said as we walked out of the forest and into an open field.

“Hey let's go sleep by that rock.” I said pointing to a giant Boulder in the middle if the plain.

“Hey Adam look a town!” Cringer said pointing to a small medieval looking

“Hmm better wait until morning no sense in spooking the villagers,after all it'd be pretty creepy for a dude with a bug ass sword and a tiger to come to town in the middle of the night.” I said.

“Alright I guess that makes sense.” Cringer said as he laid down next to me by the rock.

Later the next day

“SOMEPONY HELP!!!” A feminine voice screamed out.

Cringer and I woke with a start and quickly got up to see a furry monster man carrying away a pink maned pegasus with a yellow coat.

“It's Beastman!” I said, “What's he doing here!”

“Who cares let's get outta here.” Cringer.

“No way we gotta save her!” I said as me and Cringer hid behind the rock.

“How?!” Cringer asked.

“Umm I got it!” I said drawing my sword from it's sheath.

“What are you gonna do with that?” Cringer with a frown.

I said nothing but instead held aloft my magic sword and said “ By the power Grayskull!” The Sword’s handle guard twisted open before clicking together in a different format on causing a volt of blue lightning to hit me and the sword. In a flash of ligh I became incredibly muscular and I was now clad in barbarian style clothing/armor.

In a deeper voice I then said while twirling about a bit holding the sword in just one hand “I HAVE THE POWER!!!”

“Neat...wait why are you pointing that thing at me!?” Cringer said before my reargend it's cross guard again and the sword hit him with a volt of lightning.
He grew 3 times bigger and donned red mount armor before letting out a ferocious roar.

“Let's go kick some ass!!!” Cringer said now transformed into the mighty Battle Cat.

I then mounted my new steed and charged at Beatman leaping over the rock and bashing him in the face with hilt of my weapon causing him to drop the pony. I then jumped off Battle Cat and stared Beastman down.

“Huh? Who the hell are you and what the hell are you doing here?” He said in rough animal like voice.

“I an He-Man defender of the innocent and I am here to stop you from harming an innocent mare!” I said readying my blade as Battle Cat sneaked up on Beastman from behind.

Beatman laughed a bit. “ You may have your fancy sword and your little kittie cat but you're no match for Skeletor!”

“Right you are Beastman!” A voice said from behind me.

I whirled around to see a tall blue skinned man draped in a dark blue cloak and wearing a harness and speedo underneath standing there with staff that had a ram skull on top. He was now staring at me with sinister smile.I think I mean hard to tell him having a skull for a face and all.

“Skeletor I presume, what do you want with this mare?” I asked turning my blade on him.

“It's quite simple you muscle bound moron! According to my spys this mare is a member of a group called the elements of harmony. And these ‘elements’ hold the power I need to conquer Grayskull!” He cackled.

“It won't work the elements only work when all my friends are together.” The yellow mare said as she hid behind me.

“Oh I do so love when bumbling idiots give such useful pieces of information.” Skeletor cackled. “Beastman dispose of the furball I will deal with 'He-man' myself!”

“Right away Lord Skeletor!” Beastman said before charging Battle Cat.

Skeletor then tried to blast me with a bolt of magic from his staff. But I blocked it with sword. I then charged him and swung my blade at him. Before I could hit him,He stabed his staff into the ground and drew a double edge sword with conflicting sides. Our blades clashed sending sparks flying as I held my ground.

“Miss I need you to run back to town and warn your friends of the danger.” I said to yellow mare.

“Oh yes thank you,thank you!” She said as she flew away quickly towards the town.

“You fur for brains she getting away!” Skeletor yelled at Beastman braking lock and backflipped away.

“Im sorry Lord Skeletor but Im in a bit of a jam.” Beastman said trying to push Battle Cat off himself to no avail.

“Damn it, She'll be back with reinforcements ,we no choice retreat!” Skeletor commanded calling his staff to him and hitting Battle Cat with a blast if magic.

“Battle Cat!” I cried as I rushed over to him.

“That will distract him for now, quick summon your winged beast,Beastman.” Skeletor commanded.

“At once my Lord!” Beastman said using his telepathy to draw a huge eagle to them. They then jumped on it's back and quickly flew away.

“You okay Cringer?” I asked Battle Cat.

“I've been better.” He replied gruffly standing up and shaking.

“He said something about Grayskull.You don't think this world has a Castle Grayskull do you?” I asked Battle Cat.

“Maybe,I guess we should check that out.” Battle Cat said.

“Alright Cat let's go!!” I said.

“Go where we have no idea where too start looking.” Battle Cat said.

“You have a point let's go ask around that town ,but first.” I said raising my sword again. “Let the power RETURN!” .My sword let loose several volts of lightning and me and Battle Cat returned to our original states. I quickly grabbed the sword with both hands to stop it from toppling me and placed it in its sheath on my back.

“I'm glad that's over ,that was terrifying!” Cringer whimpered.

“Oh stop being a baby it wasn't that bad.” I said rolling my eyes.

“Easy for you to say you didn't become a ferocious killing machine.” Cringer whined.

“Whatever let's hurry and get to that town,the sooner we find Grayskull the sooner we can get some answers.” I said.

“What makes you think we'll find answers at Grayskull?” Cringer asked as he began to walk alongside me.

“Well it wouldn't be the first time the sorceress had knowledge of other worlds and dimensions ,after all Castle Grayskull has many secrets.” I said as we approached the town.

The Town seemed strangely abandoned though. The windows were barred and the welcome mats were missing.

“Huh that's weird I thought I smelled I whole bunch of ponies here.” Cringer said.

“Hmm maybe we should look around they might be hiding.” I said as we walked down the main street. As we made our towards a large treehouse in center of town I got the strangest feeling we were being watched. We arrived at the treehouse and I leaned down and knocked on the small door.

“Hello? Is anyone home? Me and my friend were wondering if you could direct us to Castle Grayskull.” I called.

We heard shuffling and whispering from within the house,but I couldn't discern what was being said.

“Maybe we should come back later?” Cringer said.

“Naw if we can't get any information here we're better off moving to the next town or city.” I said.

I looked of in the distance and saw a large city perched on a mountain side.

“Hey let's go there they'll probably have the info we need.” I said pointing at the castle.

“If your sure Adam.” Cringer said cautiously.

“Well the ponies here are either not very friendly or their too spooked by those bozos we scared off.” I said as we walked off.

We kept walking at a steady pace as we made our way to the castle/city. After about three hours of walking with a break or two in between we finally made it to the city.

When we walked in the gate most of the ponies stopped what they were doing and stared at us for second,mostly eyeing Cringer, before going back to their business when they realized we weren't paying them much attention. I approached a blue coated unicorn mare who just resting on a bench.

“Um excuse me Miss do you know of any Libraries in this city?” I asked.

She seemed put off by our appearance at first but then said, “ Um yes ,you could go to the Royal Canterlot Library it's just down the road.” She said pointing to very large white building.

“Oh thank you ma'am!” Cringer said politely.

“YOUR A TALKING TIGER!?” the mare asked surprise.

“And your a talking pony your point?” Cringer said raising an eyebrow.

“Oh right sorry.” She said smiling nervously.

“Alright thank you! let's go Cringer.” I said as we made our to the building.

We then entered the library and went straight to the main desk.

“I'm sorry sir ,but pets are not allowed in the library.” The brown unicorn at the desk said to me.

“I'm not a pet...anymore...right Adam!?” Cringer said getting offended.

“Um right.” I said getting confused.

“My apologies sir.” She said going to back to work unfazed by my the talking tiger freind.

“That's it?” I asked. “You meet a talking tiger and that's your reaction.”

“If I may sir the last person to come through that door was a giant frog on a unicycle.” She deadpanned motion to said frog.

The frog looked up from his female anatomy book and said,"Oh shit wadup!?"

“Okay….um could you direct me to any books you have on Castle Grayskull?” I asked.

“Castle Grayskull? What would you want with that old ruin?” She asked rasing an eyebrow.

“I have an interest in the structure.” I said with a smile.

“Very well, luckily for you I haven't put away the only book we have on the subject.” She said handing me decently sized book.

“Who else checked it out?” I asked.

“A.K. Yearling.” She replied with a monotone.
