The only thing he could muster up was, “Come on Twi, just five more minutes thats all I ask.” he said as he slammed the door shut with his magic. Twilight stood outside the now closed door, shocked and said, “If you don’t wake up right now, you will regret it, so help me Star.”  At this point Twilight was getting frustrated with him. Star got up and combed his new now black and red mane and tail, shaking his head knowing today he started his first day at PonyVille High School. He had been staying with Twilight since he was a little colt, learning about magic and friendship, as his mother requested, he had all the same classes as Sweetie Belle so he was happy. He ran downstairs and ate his breakfast as quickly as he could before he rushed out the door, saying bye to them on the way out, Shadow looked down from his paper and said, “I swear he was like that in our past life, some things never change I guess.” Twilight giggled and said, ”I swear he sleeps too much. But he is in high school now.” ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Star got to the school seeing Scootaloo, AppleBloom, and his beautiful Sweetie Belle waiting for him. “Hey Star we’re over here!” Scootaloo shouted. Star flew over to them and asked, “Hey guys whats up? they smiled and said in unison, “Oh nothing new.” Star rolled his eyes and asked “Hey Scoots, how is Rainbow doing? Is she feeling any better?” Scootaloo smiled and said, “Ya mom is feeling better now, thanks for asking!” They all heard the bell ring and ran to class as fast as they could. When they got there they sat next to each other. Then a deep voice said, “Already late for class on the first day?” They froze almost immediately when Star jumped. “Ya, sorry about that we just got caught up in a conversation.” He said, hoping that they would not get in trouble for it. The older looking stallion looked at them and said out loud, “Well I don’t care if you had to raise the sun and I don’t care if you are Prince, I will NOT stand for you being tardy to my class. Am I understood? While you are in my class you are a nopony.” He added at the end of his little lecture. Star’s mane and tail were flickering, about to catch on fire, he looked at the teacher who had moved on and was scolding Sweetie. Star then stood up from his chair and said, “Well if I am a nopony then why do I have wings a horn and a beautiful marefriend? Unlike you, all you have are the dirty magazines under your bed you worthless, moronic, piece of shit and I am the son of Princess Celestia, so try me. I don’t care to get expelled from this school for shutting you the buck up!” The stallion looked at Star in shock and said, “Well then. I might have to inform Miss.Twilight about this. I’ll be going to the library at my lunch break to get some things so shut up and sit down.” Star sat down, trying to stay calm and not banish this fool to the moon. The older earth pony said, “My name is Professor Zoom, I have been all over the world. Now I will warn you: If I see note passing you fail, if you smart off then you fail, anything I don’t like you fail. So now let’s get to a pop quiz! Who is blue, has a red and black mane and tail, and wings, and a horn, and has now failed this semester? Anypony?” He looked at Star, making his mane and tail flicker even more. Star looked at him with a smug grin and said, “Is it your mother? Well, am I right you sadistic bastard?” Zoom looked at Star and thought it would be a good idea to try something he said, “No it is your mother, I think she is a false princess. Now, back to our lesson.” ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~After School ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sweetie Belle looked at Star in shock and said, “What the hell Star!? Why did you tackle him to the ground like that? We are going to be in so much trouble for that.” Star rolled his eyes and said, “Sweetie don’t worry, he started with me, talking about my mother like that.” Scootaloo was ready to kill Star at the time she added, “Well thanks to you we have extra homework you jackflank.” AppleBloom jumped in before it could escalate anymore, “Now come on Scootaloo, he didn’t mean no harm. Ah swear you two fight too darn much.” everypony looked at AppleBloom and started laughing Sweetie Belle said “Ya, I guess you’re right crusaders for life am I right?” They all were laughing until they saw Dinky walking up to Star pissed and said “Star what the buck? You had to smart off didn’t you? Now I have a lot of homework along with helping my little brother with his!” Star looked at Dinky and asked her Oh how is Summer Rays doing? Dinky just shook her head and walked off leaving Star,Sweetie Belle,Scootaloo and AppleBloom subsequently Diamond Tiara and Rip Orange walked out Diamond walked to Star and said “What the hay! You have to be kidding me! I have more homework now! I knew you were stupid, but really.” Star rolled his eyes and looked at Rip Orange and said “Hey Orange!” After everypony had yelled at Star they went on their way, but Star and Sweetie Belle went back to his house. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Back Home~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When Star and Sweetie Belle walk through the front door they saw Twilight waiting for them and she was not happy. She looked at Star and said “Well Star, I had a nice chat with your teacher what you said was uncalled for and unfair to him and tackling him!? Really now, you're better then that.” Star rolled his eyes and said “Twilight I’m not in the mood for this, I have had a long bucking day so buck off already!” With that Star walked into his room with Sweetie Belle flanking him. They started on their homework which was Equestrian History Sweetie looked at Star and asked him “What has you on edge right now?” Star looked at her and just simply said: “That douche Zoom called my mother a false princess that is what has me on edge!” Star said with hint of annoyance  in his tone, Twilight knocked on the door saying “Star, Sweetie, I brought you a snack if you want it? I have fresh cookies.” With that Star opened the door allowing her to enter with a plate of cookies. She sat the cookies on the table and left. Star just shouted “Twi I’m up, so shut up please! I have a massive han-” he chose not to finish what he was about to say when Twilight started glaring at him and asked “A massive what now?” “Nothing.” Star quickly replied. Twilight looked at him and said “That’s what I thought, now get your flank to school. Sweetie Belle is already there with that Star went out the door leaving a very confused Shadow who just looked at Twilight and said “Did he almost tell you he was hungover? He used to get drunk a lot back home. Having abusive parents will do that to a guy.” Twilight glared bullets at her husband, making him freeze in place. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ At School ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Star rushed into the classroom, knowing he would have to listen to his teacher’s rants and ravings about stuff that clearly wasn’t important. He got into his seat next to Sweetie Belle. When Star sat down the teacher looked at him with a smirk and said “Well well well class, looks like our prince can’t get to class on time now, can he?” Star gave an evil grin and added “Apparently not, but this prince did kick your flank yesterday.” The whole class just sat there silent, all but Scootaloo, who was snoring. Zoom went over and hit her upside the head with a book, causing her to wake up with a jolt. “There is no sleeping in my class.” Scootaloo looked at him and said “There is no hitting me either. Do it again and see what happens. Try me today, come on, jump frog, jump.” He glared at her silently. “That’s what I thought, you jackflank.” At this, Zoom took a cane from his desk and brought it across her foreleg, causing her to wince in pain. Star, who was barely containing his anger, lost it completely, and knocked Zoom on the ground, beating him and screaming “You do not hit my friend, or anypony for that matter! Especially if it is a mare. So help me, I should banish you to the moon right now!” It ended up taking the whole class to pull Star off of the teacher, who by now was unconscious and bleeding heavily. Star kept trying to go back to finish him off, until Scootaloo grabbed his shoulder. “Dude stop. He’s not worth it!” Star looked at Scootaloo and added “You’re right Scoots. But he still should not have hit you. That is not cool, but I think somepony should get the nurse.” Scootaloo nodded. “Now, what do we tell them? Truth, or make something up?” Star looked at Scootaloo and shook his head saying “I will tell them he hit you so I messed him up, that’s all they need to know.” AppleBloom looked admiringly at Star for his boldness and said “If my sister was here she would have done beat yer flank worse then y’all could imagine.” causing everypony in the classroom to laugh. Right after that, the nurse came in looking at Star shaking her head saying “What is wrong with you Star? I took this job at the school to make sure you did not get hurt, not to take care of others hurt by you.” Red Heart stated. Star looked at her and said with no guilt “Well he did not need to hit Scoots, and I would not have beat him like that if he hadn’t. Next time though, I won’t take it so easy on him.” Red Heart shook her head at him stating “You know your mother will be informed about this, don’t you?” This made Star freeze a little, but he quickly regained his composure and smiled.and said to her calmly “No worries. Tell her how I threatened to banish his worthless flank to the moon, and about him calling her a false princess while you’re at it.” Red Heart looked at Zoom’s unconscious form with much less pity upon hearing that. “I see. Alright then everypony, because your teacher is ‘indisposed’, there’s no reason to stay here. I guess you have two free periods today.” With that, everypony in the class ran out Scootaloo, Sweetie Belle ,AppleBloom and Star went outside looking at eachother. Star looked at them and asked “How about we go to Scootaloo’s place? I put a permanent cloud-walking spell on you, so I think you will be fine.” With that they walked there. Upon arrival Star and Scootaloo pushed them up on a cloud. When they walked in the front door they saw something making their jaws hit the floor at the same time they saw Rainbow Dash and SpitFire making out on the couch. Star just tried to break the silence. “Umm, are we interrupting something?” Rainbow Dash just looked at them and asked in her parental tone, “Why are you four not in school right now?” Star said with pride “I beat the crap out of the teacher cause he hit Scoots.” Rainbow rolled her eyes at Star and asked “Wait, I thought Knight would be with you.” Spitfire asked “Who’s Knight?” “Knight’s a friend of ours, he only moved here a couple of years ago, and he said he had something to do, then he went into the Everfree Forest.” Sweetie Belle said. Scootaloo looked at Rainbow Dash and asked “Hey mom, we got any food? I’m dying of hunger here.” Rainbow just snickered and said “No, you ate it all, and I don’t think I am going to buy any more. You’re going to get chubby.” Scootaloo rolled her eyes and said. “Sure I am mom, just like you’re going to fail the Wonderbolts tryouts this time around.” Rainbow chuckled at Scootaloo and said “Well, I don’t care, I got my own Wonderbolt, she quit the team just to be with me.” Everypony noticed Star somehow went missing but smelled something from the bathroom and rushed to the door, kicking it open. Spitfire looked at him in shock and said “What the buck are you doing?” He smiled, saying “Well, I was smoking something to make Dashie’s cooking taste better.” She just ignored him and they all had a nice little talk. Star looked at him and said with sarcasm “Ya, you can really beat my flank. can’t you Ms. Zoom? You hurt me so bad I had to run to my mommy and get her to kiss my boo-boos and make it all better. You don’t scare me, I have fought an ursa major and won, you jackflank.” Zoom glared at Star and said with a nice, and at the same time evil, smile, “Well, I guess it’s time for a quiz isn’t it? Come on, pass the papers around.” He said as he handed the papers to the class about Equestrian History. Rising Knight looked at Star and said with a smirk “Nice job kicking his flank Star. Wish I’d thought of that.” Star smiled and said “He does not scare me, like I said fought an ursa major. Not a minor, but a major, and I won. He is just a filly. Hey how would you like to hang with us at a cafe after school.” Knight smiled sadly. “I can’t. I have to do something in the forest today.” Star just looked at him and said “Come on, you need to hang out with other ponies for a while. Just relax.” Knight shouted a little“I SAID NO! And don’t try to follow me either. It’s a personal and private matter.” As he walked away Star looked at him and whispered to himself “Well, it sounds fishy now, so by law I must follow you, and I know three mares who’d be able to help me do just that.”After they had finished the test Zoom went on and gave Star a F on his paper. Star then jumped, acting like he was going to attack again, only to be knocked out by a globe. Sweetie Belle saw this and she caught on fire looking at him. She just shouted “YOU DID NOT JUST HIT HIM! OH YOU ARE SO DEAD!” This made Zoom chuckle at her and he replied calmly “Well, looks like his mommy will have a booboo to kiss bet-” *THUNK* He was silenced by a rough book that nailed him on his muzzle, and a second book that slammed into the back of his head, hard, rendering him unconscious once again.Red Heart  walked into the classroom to check on Star, not caring about the educator on the floor. She carrIed Star into the infirmary, checking his vitals, making sure he was ok and not harmed. When he woke up, he started rubbing the back of his head, saying “Ok, that hurt my pride more than anything, but otherwise I’m fine.” He walked out of the infirmary to the cafeteria. While he and Sweetie Belle and the rest of them were getting their lunch, they saw Knight sitting alone and decided to join him. When they sat down he just sighed and rolled his eyes, saying “You’re not going to give up are you?” They all looked at him and said “Nope.” at the same time. Knight just gave up and said “Ok you win. You can come with me. But you have to swear that no matter what you’ll never tell anypony about what you see. Ever.” The whole time he was speaking in a tone that could freeze the sun. Zoom was standing there waiting when Star said “You never give up do you? I can’t tell if you are crazy or just stupid.”With that Star charged his horn up and shot a spell at Zoom, throwing him into the sky. When they did that they followed Knight deep into the Everfree. A few times they came close to some of the forest’s more dangerous creatures, but they left the group alone. Star, Sweetie, AppleBloom and Scootaloo were more than a little confused by this, but Knight calmly told them “The Everfree and I have an understanding, let’s leave it at that. By the way, we’re here.” When they took a look around, they saw the charred remains of what used to be a house, as well as a carved block of stone nearby. When questioned, Knight said “That used to be my home, and the stone is a memorial to my parents and younger sister. Today is both her birthday, and the anniversary of hers and my parents deaths.” His eyes were brimming with tears. They all looked at him sadly. Scootaloo worked up the courage and asked “What happened?” Knight took a deep breath and started his tale. “When I was a foal, my parents found me in the woods near that house, their house. They took me in and gave me a home, a family. I was around five, and Cera was two. She was already skilled in the profession my parents were part of.” The four exchanged looks and Sweetie asked, “What profession?” Knight smirked and said “They were assassins.” The group backed away, except for Star, who stood ready to attack if Knight tried anything, but Knight just laughed and said “Don’t worry, if I wanted to hurt you, you’d already be on the ground. Celestial Assassins protect others, they don’t kill for the sake of it. They taught me both the skills and the virtues behind them.” Applebloom asked “But what happened to them?” Knight just sighed and said “They were killed, by a pony with a mask and a cloak. He took me somewhere, and I spent six years there. My sister saved me, but she died doing it. Nowadays I sleep in the forest. Don’t really have any place to call my own.” Knight was letting the tears flow full force. Scoots, Sweetie and Applebloom walked up to him slowly and placed him in a bone-crushing hug, saying “Hey, it’s ok. You don’t have to be alone anymore Knight. You’ve got friends, you just gotta let ‘em in.” Star rolled his eyes, slightly jealous at Sweetie’s display of affection towards Knight, and said “Yeah yeah, great, let’s go before Twilight sends out a search party.” The five left the clearing and went back through the forest, none of them saying a single word throughout the trip... “Hey, is sparknanator cutting in i dont want to write this its way too sad so we are skipping to back at Twilights house ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Back At Twilights~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When Star walked in the front door, he saw something that scared him more then a very angry Twilight. She looked at him and said “Shooting Star what could have possessed you to hit an educator like that?” Star rolled his eyes at his mother and said “Ya mom, I had no right. He hit Scootaloo, then he hit me. That foal is pressing my buttons and he is not smart teacher, if he even has the right to call himself so with all the things he’s done. He assaulted me with a globe for buck’s sake.” Celestia looked at her son in disbelief and said “I got a letter from him telling me about the brutal beating you gave him and how you were insulting his family. Star I raised you better than to do that.” Star stared in shock at his mother and said “MOM you are not going to listen to that lying jackflank, are you? Ya, I did beat him down but he hit me and Scoots, and he called you a false princess.” Celestia rolled her eyes at Star and said “Star, I want you to write a letter apologizing to him.” Star was starting to get angry he said “MOM NURSE RED HEART CAN TELL YOU HE ATTACKED ME WITH A BUCKING GLOBE!” Celestia looked at her son, still not buying it. She had to say one more thing before she left “Star I want to hear no more of this, am I understood? You will apologize to him and that is all I have to say about it.” Star was ready to burst when a voice came from the open doorway. “Star is not lying Princess. That so-called educator is probably a wife-beater. He won’t pick on anyone his own size without dirty tricks.” Everyone turned to the owner of the voice, and Star was the first to speak. “Knight? What are you doing here?” He exclaimed. There were mixed reactions. Twilight was angry at the intrusion, Celestia was looking at the newcomer with raised eyebrows, and Shadowfoot was sitting there just watching the whole thing, when Celestia said “Well, why do you say that, Knight, was it?” Knight smirked and said “I have a bad habit of learning secrets about ponies without meaning to. It’s not a conscious action, sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn’t. I saw his. He was married, but his wife left when he beat her one too many times. And by the way princess,” Knight smirked, “You’re missing a shoe.” Celestia looked and saw that she was indeed missing one of her shoes. She giggled at herself and said “Well, thank you Knight. I will make sure he is punished. Well, I must leave now.” “Wait” Knight said. Celestia turned to him. “Yes?” He shuffled his hooves a bit before asking “Do you know anywhere I could stay for cheap? I’m kinda getting tired of sleeping in the Everfree.” Twilight looked at him and said “You can stay here if you want, free of charge, but why were you sleeping in the Everfree Forest anyway?” Knight just said “I’d rather not say...” With that Celestia leftStar,Shadow,Twilight,and Knight who just looked at Star and said “I thought you were joking when you said you were the son of Celestia.” When all was over, Twilight looked at them and said “Ok now, get your homework done.” Knight smirked and said “Already finished mine, and before you ask Star, no, you can’t copy.” Star looked in shock and asked “How did you know I was going to ask that?” To which Knight replied “Remember, I can learn secrets without meaning to. Reason is somehow I could read minds.” Star just replied with a smirk of his own and said “Well, I did mine at the school an-” Before he could finish Sweetie Belle walked in. They ran to his room and, while Twilight and Shadow were out of earshot, Star said “Knight I need you gone for about thirty minutes.” Knight smirked and said “No worries, you two have fun. But one thing. If you can’t be careful, name the first one after me.” Sweetie Belle then hit Knight with a statue, yet he still grinned knowingly as he walked off rubbing the bump on his head. Please tell me you’re joking!” Sweetie shook her head saying “No Star, I’m not joking. You might be a daddy. I took a pregnacy test, and we should have the results in at any second now.” A few minutes passed and they looked at the test. Seeing it was negative, Star screamed at the top of his lungs “YES! YOU’RE NOT PREGNANT! IT’S A MIRACLE! YES!” Sweetie rolled her eyes and said jokingly “Wow Star, tell me how you really feel.” Star looked at her saying “Sorry about that, but I’m not ready for a foal. Knight and Sweetie already left, now wake up or else!” Star groaned, curled up in the foetal position, saying “Twi I don’t feel so good today.” Twilight walked over to him, and seeing that we was not faking, said to him “Ok you’re staying in bed today, I will bring you a sandwich at lunch, and check on you.” Star then said “Ok, I’m going back to sleep now. Zoom walked in, and, noticing that there was no trace of Star, smirked victoriously. “Well, where’s our little troublemaking prince? Did he get expelled? Or did his false princess of a mother see sense and banish him, like she did her sister, or maybe sh-” *CRACK* Everypony in the classroom watched as Zoom slumped over the desk, trying not to cry out in pain, his jaw was now swollen. When they saw who was responsible, their own jaws dropped. “I’ve had it with your crap Zoom. Star’s my friend, and the things you’ve said about him are an insult to his honour, and I don’t appreciate that.” Knight said. He walked slowly over to Zoom and levitated him so they were face to face and whispered “Here’s how it’s gonna work Zoom. Am I clear?” Zoom nodded frantically despite the pain of moving his jaw. Scootaloo got the nurse, who took one look at Zoom, then at Knight, and smiled lightly. “So, you’re the one who did it this time, eh Rising Knight?” Knight just shrugged and said “Just call me Knight, everypony else does. Plus, this flankhole had it coming, how this school could employ somepony like him is beyond me...” Red Heart chuckled and said “I agree, but unfortunately, with the budget cuts, he’s the only teacher we can afford for your class.” Sweetie Belle said “Nurse Red Heart, maybe you should go and check on Star. He is at the library right now, and well, he never misses school.” Red Heart looked Sweetie in the eyes and said “Alright, but if it turns out he’s faking, or worse...” She trailed off. Everypony knew Red Heart found only one thing worse than faking an illness, and that was when somepony purposefully made themselves or another ill. Everypony in the class prayed that if either was true, that it wasn’t the latter... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~At The Library~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Red Heart walked into the library and saw Twilight making some tea and a sandwich. She then asked her “Twilight, is Star here? The other students, especially Sweetie Belle, are worried about him.” Twilight turned to face her and said “Yes, Nurse Red Heart, he is in his room right now. He does not feel too well, and I was making him some hot tea and a sandwich.” Red Heart walked up to Star’s room and walked in, seeing a bottle of aspirin and a glass of water she then spoke up “Star, are you feeling ok today?” Star looked at her and mustered up “No, not really. I feel like crap today.” She then walked over to him, checking his temperature and vitals making sure he was ok. She looked at him, smiled and said “It’s just a little flu bug, you should be back on your hooves tomorrow. And by the way,” She leaned in close and whispered “Sweetie was asking for you. Knight smiled and said, “No, just relaying her message. She would’ve said so herself, but you were still asleep. She’s downstairs eating breakfast. Anyway, I’ll see you at school dude.” Star looked at Knight and added “Bye bye, I will see you jackflanks later.” After about an hour, Shadow got a bucket of cold water and dumped it on Star, making him wake up. Shadow smirked at him and said “Morning, sunshine. You’d better get going if you wanna beat Sweetie Belle to school.” Star glared at him, but nonetheless got out of bed, grabbed a small breakfast, and ran out the door to the school. He saw Sweetie about to enter the gates and put on an extra burst of speed and entered the school gates seconds before Sweetie, who smirked at him and said “Congratulations Star, ready for your ‘surprise’?” Star nodded slowly. “Then close your eyes.” She said. Star complied, and suddenly, he was doused in cold water. He opened his eyes to see Sweetie rolling on the floor laughing, with a bucket at her side and her horn glowing. “What the buck Sweetie!?” He exclaimed. ‘Sweetie’ just continued laughing and pointed behind them, and Star’s jaw dropped. Sweetie Belle was there, smirking, walking towards them. and Star struggled to figure out how she could be in two places at once. Suddenly, the Sweetie who was laughing suddenly became enveloped in a flash of light, revealing Knight. Star’s eye twitched and he said “Ok, what the BUCK is going on here!?” Knight just smiled and said “There was a message this morning while you were asleep. The school is closed for some Staff Meeting, so Sweetie and I planned this while you slept. We got Shadow in on it too. So, what did ya’ think? Did we get you, or did we get you?” Knight smiled and held his hoof out. When he got to school he walked into the health classroom to see none other then AJ, who simply smiled at him. Star looked at him and said, perplexed, “AJ, I thought you were still working on the farm?” “Nope, I quit working there so I could get a job here and make sure my daughter gets a good education.” He then pointed to Dinky, who was trying to hide behind her. book.Star just looked at AJ as he took his seat. AJ then walked to the front of the room and said “Ok class today we will be learning the biological structure of a pony.” He pointed to a picture that had came up on the projector, it was a picture of Star taking a bath when he was a little foal. Everypony looked at him and laughed. Star then laid his head down on the desk, praying that it would be over soon. AJ flipped to the next slide, and Sweetie Belle started blushing profusely as a picture of her playing dress-up with Rarity’s old clothes appeared on the wall. Next up was applebloom, who tried to hide under her desk when AJ showed a picture of her trying to buck an apple tree for the first time. Turns out, she missed the sweet spot, and somehow ended up covered in tree sap, though how she did so is still a mystery. Finally, Scootaloo’s turn came, and she watched in horror as a picture of her using a scooter for the first time ever came into view. She had crashed right into a lamp post, and the scooter had lodged itself in Pinkie Pie’s mane. Then Sweetie Belle Scootaloo and AppleBloom turned to Star and said “Where the hay did they get all these pictures of us?” Star who was still trying to hide said “You got me, I have no idea.” “I think I have an idea of how, if you’re interested.” They turned to face Knight and said “Ok then, how did they get those pictures?” Knight rolled his eyes and said “Who takes care of photos in Ponyville? Who’s responsible for developing them? Come on, it’s not that hard to figure out. She’s an old friend of AJ’s. And she used to work in Canterlot too.” They all looked at him, still confused. Star just looked at him and said “I was never really allowed to leave the castle, there was always something fun to do, I will say that.” Knight just sighed in frustration and said “It’s Dark Room, the owner of the photo shop. Got it memorized?” He tapped his head with his hoof at the last three words. After the bell rang Star knew he had two gym classes, and first was the class for pegasi. When he walked in, he saw Scootaloo’s jaw on the ground. He turned to where she was looking and saw SpitFire, and he almost did the same, while she just smiled and said “Ok class, so today we will be doing speed training and flight team tryouts are after school for anypony who is interested.” She then looked at Star with a slightly evil grin and said “Well, Prince Shooting Star, I think we should see your copy of Dashie’s sonic-rainboom, that is, if you’re stallion enough to try.” Star just walked outside with the class and took off faster then Rainbow Dash’s sonic-rainboom. He then came flying down with his signature trail of stardust following him. Everypony’s jaw dropped, except for Spitfire, who was just acting unimpressed. When Star landed he said “And that is a sonic-starboom. How do you like them apples?” Spitfire smirked and said “Not bad, but you were pretty shaky there for a while before the landing.” All Star could do was frown at what he just heard he then said “Well, I’d like to see you break the sound barrier and land gracefully. That is, if you’re pony enough.” Spitfire frowned at her own words being turned against her. Star smiled contently. Spitfire had saved Scootaloo for last. Scootaloo said “Oh...I can’t fly, I have a sprained wing, ya that’s it, a sprain wing haha...” Spitfire pulled Scootaloo’s old scooter out in response, finishing the blow. Spitfire said “Well if your wing is sprained, then you can use your old scooter. When she said that scootaloo took off in the sky, but she was not the fastest. She was almost as fast as Rainbow when she took off. When she had landed Spitfire looked at her, saying “Wow is all I can say. You were fast, but not too fast.” Scootaloo looked at the ground. After the speed test they did some races. Star had beat everypony in class even Spitfire. By the time they had finished the bell rang indicating time for the next class. This time it was gym for unicorns. Star got to the unicorn gym panting heavily. “Hello class, my name is Lyra Heartstrings, and I will be your teacher today. Now, I need a volunteer. Anypony?” She asked, looking at Star, who looked like he was about to pass out. “I’ll do it.” Everypony turned to Knight, who was standing there, his face devoid of emotion. Lyra looked at Knight and said “No it’s fine, we are going with Star this is a combat spell so he might take the hit better than anypony.” Star then stepped up and the spell hit him not knocking him down when that was done Lyra looked at the class and said “And that, class, is a simple spell to knock them down.” Everypony waited for a few minutes, but Star didn’t get back up. Knight went to check him and said “Great, you pushed him despite the fact he was already exhausted from the pegasus gym class, and now he’s unconscious. Shoulda let me do it.” He was shaking his head. Lyra turned to him and said “Now Knight, go and get the nurse, please.” Knight nodded and teleported to the nurses office, teleporting back a moment later with Nurse Red Heart in tow. She just looked at Star and asked “What happened to him?” Lyra looked at her and said “Well, Red Heart, I was showing them a combat spell and he passed out.” Red Heart looked at her and said “And why exactly did you choose him as the one to demonstrate it on? You know he takes both gym classes, so he was already exhausted by now.” Lyra looked in disbelief a little and said “I did not know that, I thought he only took this one.” Red Heart shook her head and said “The entire staff were informed that he was obligated to participate in both classes.” Lyra just shrugged and said “Well, I was not informed of this.” After she finished Star shot up saying “I’m ok don’t worry, it did not phase me.” Sweetie rolled her eyes, and Knight said “Sure, just like I wasn’t laughing my flank off yesterday after our prank on you.” Which ended up getting him a smack on the head from Star. Sweetie glared bullets at him. Red Heart left the gym seeing he was fine, and Lyra then said “Ok now class, after that I am going to show you a spell that will allow you to see somepony’s current dream if they want you to it is very simple. Now Star are you alright? If so, can you volunteer?” Star said “Ya I’m fine, so ya sure why not.” With that a hologram of Star’s dream he had last night, of a human being beaten almost to death came into view. Everypony cringed as each blow made contact. Lyra stopped the spell saying “Ok, well class is dismissed for an early lunch or free period, whatever you want it to be.” ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Lyra,Twilight &Shadow~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lyra walked into the library, a little frantic about what she had seen. She looked at Twilight saying “Hey Twilight, listen, in gym I used a spell that shows dreams somepony had the night before and...and...” Lyra was hyperventilating. Twilight just put a hoof on her shoulder, saying “Don’t worry, he has had them since he was a little colt. It’s fine, scary, but fine.”Lyra just shouted “WHAT!? HE HAS HAD THOSE DREAMS SINCE HE WAS A COLT!?” Twilight just said “Ok now, calm down. He is fine, don't worry.” Lyra was still freaking out a little when ShadowFoot came over and put a hoof on her shoulder, calming her down. Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, and Apple Bloom all sat down at their usual table. Suddenly, Sweetie Belle gained courage and asked, “So, Star, was that one of the dreams you had as a colt?” Star silently nodded and kept eating, as if nothing had happened. Knight walked over and sat down next to them, and said sympathetically, “Star, you know you can talk to your friends, right?” Star sighed. “Yeah, I don’t want to talk about it. It’s just too hard to talk about.” Knight’s expression became stern. “So was talking about my family, but I did, do you know why?” Star shook his head. “Because I trust you. You guys are the first friends I ever had. Before you came along, I was a loner. I refused to be close to anypony. You guys are the first ponies I ever felt I could call friends. If I can trust you when I’ve never trusted anypony before, do you think you can trust us enough to talk to us about what’s bothering you?” Star sighed again. “I can't tell you what its about because even I don't understand what’s going on! It's too complicated.” This shocked everypony, but they realized they could ask any more questions. So, with that they all went to math class where Algebraic Equation was waiting with a test. Once he announced the test, Star,Scootaloo,Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom all groaned. With the test complete, the day quickly concluded. Star and the CMC walked out of school only for Star and Scootaloo to bump into Spitfire. Subsequently, Spitfire said, “Well, I think I have two new ponies for the school racing team!” Star froze not wanting to go through that physical torment again, so he responded. “N..no thank you, I’m good.” Spitfire’s gave them an evil smirk. “It’s not optional. You two are doing it, so come on! Let’s go!” With that, she started dragging them to the track, when all of a sudden, Star slammed into Ripe Orange, a dull yellow colt with a slightly messy orange mane and big cerulean eyes. Ripe normally possessed a bright red vintage guitar with him, but he decided to leave it at school today, knowing it would be safe. Once Ripe saw Star, he sighed. “You again? So, you’re going to screw up my academics and bump into me after a tough play practise?” Star rolled his eyes and added, “Well, no need to be a flankhole about it...” As he said this, Diamond Tiara walked up to Star, and shouted, with a glare, “We have every right to be a flankhole, you moron! You must be disabled to get your cutie-mark that late! You’re nothing compared to either of us, so get out of here before things really get nasty.” Subsequently, Ripe added, “Dude, you’re worse than the morons who bullied me when I was in elementary school. Just leave, before both of us feel the urge to really become bullies. Please, I don’t want this to get any worse.” Star’s horn then flared up when he gave a smirk saying Then bring it i am not afraid of you or Diamond over there so wanna fight then lets go Ripe sweatdropped. “Come on, Diamond. Let’s just get out of here and practise for the play. He’s not worth our time.” Diamond sighed, then nodded. “Yeah, he’s nothing compared to us. Let’s just focus on being special.” Then, Star yelled, “Walk away, you little fillies!!! Also, you’re nothing, you earth ponies!!!!” Diamond facehoofed. “Yeah? Well, at least I can control my temper, get noticed in ways that doesn’t destroy my reputation, and I could beat you in anything academic related. Besides, my family has reconciled, unlike yours. The royal line is the biggest cluster-buck I’ve ever seen! Why don’t you go cry to one of your three mommy’s!” Ripe groaned. “Ugh, Diamond...this guy really isn’t worth our time. Let’s just practise for the play, OK?” But, Diamond continued. “And at least my aunt isn’t Nightmare Moon!” Star then flew at his full speed ready to punch her across her muzzle, however Ripe reacted quickly and punched Star in the stomach to stop his assault. Subsequently, Star screamed, “Hey, what the buck was that for, you bully!!! Apologize!!!” Ripe merely shook his head. “Nopony hurts my marefriend, you jerk. I’m not apologizing, because you started the fight, and there’s no reason why I should.” With that, a fight broke out between Scootaloo, Diamond Tiara, Ripe Orange, and Star. After a few hits were thrown, Zoom came by and saw all of them fighting. He laughed and said, mockingly, “Aww, what, you’re not going to fight me you bunch of flankholes?” With that everypony that was in the fight began shifting their focus towards Zoom. Zoom then proceeded to crack Star’s skull with a rock, causing him to fall into a stupor. However, Star shot up a seconds later after imagining he saw Sweetie Belle’s horn dying down. Once he did, he saw Spitfire and chirped, “I’ll join your practise!” She responded with a smile and a nod, as they went to the track. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Race Team Practice~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Star was flying around the track like nothing else. Everypony was shocked at his speed, as he was faster than Rainbow Dash. When he made his five hundredth lap in an astonishingly short amount of time, everypony was speechless. With that, Spitfire walked up and said, “We have a captain of the team now, Shooting Star!” Everypony cheered at this Spitfire said, “I think you might be wonderbolt material. Heck, try out for them when you get out of high school!” Star rolled his eyes and flew out of practise to get home, happy that it was over. When he walked into the library,  a bunch of ponies all shouted, “Surprise!!!” He was flustered, but once saw a banner saying Happy Birthday Shooting Star he smiled and asked, “How’d you know?” He saw all of his friends and family he even saw Trixie she walked up to him and said, “Trixie has seen you grow up from a little colt. Take this.” With that, she handed him a old spellbook. Celestia and Luna came up and gave him a big hug along with a key. They told him that key could open the door at the castle that he was not allowed in as a colt, and Star couldn’t have been happier. After the party was over, Pinkie had fallen asleep which was a shocker to everypony, even though they did notice a few alcoholic beverage there, and Celestia wished to have a word with Star. When mother and son entered Star’s room, she hugged him and said, “Star, you have grown up so much over the years, and I’m so proud of you. Well, you asked about your father as a colt and, I’m afraid you don’t have one. I don’t know why either, but what you do have is a big family and caring friends, so don’t you forget that, OK?” Star nodded with a few tears welling up in his eyes, and after they hugged, everypony went on their way. Finally, Star and Sweetie Belle hopped into bed together and drifted away, ending the day for good. With a yawn, he woke up, and flew off to school, and after his quick arrival, he saw Scootaloo with some strange pegasus that he had never seen before in his life. With a shrug, Star approached Scootaloo and asked, in a teasing tone, “Hey, Scoots! Who is this? With a blush, she said, “Star, meet Shadow Breeze. He’s an old friend of mine.” Star shrugged, and decided to leave it at that. Finally, he walked away to his class for the school day to commence. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ After an uneventful day, Nightmare Night celebrations began. Star was dressed as a evil version of himself named Death Star, Scootaloo was dressed as a Wonderbolt, Sweetie Belle was dressed as a princess, and Apple Bloom was dressed as a construction worker with Applejack’s old hat.  Once they all met, they sat down together. While Scootaloo was waiting for Shadow Breeze, Star looked at Sweetie Belle and asked, “Wanna scare Rainbow Dash? Following a playful nod, Star flew on a cloud higher than Rainbow Dash, and struck her tail with lightning, making her scream louder than an angry dragon, causing both Star and Sweetie Belle to fall to the floor, or cloud, in hysterics. Rainbow Dash glared at Star with daggers in her eyes and shouted, “Star, what the buck is wrong with you! What could make you do something like that?” Still laughing, Star said, “I’m s-sorry, but I couldn’t resist!” With that, he finally calmed himself down. Then, Scootaloo rolled her eyes and said, “Hey, everypony! How about we go to Manehattan to pull some pranks?” They all agreed with a passionate, “Yeah!” while Rainbow Dash looked at her and said, “Fine, you can go, but I want you home before tomorrow afternoon, kay Scoots?” Scootaloo groaned. “OK, mom. Jeez.” Subsequently, Rainbow Dash noticed Shadow Breeze and with a noteworthy grin, she said, “Now, I don’t want you doing anything with my daughter, got it kid?” He just quivered and nodded. With that, Star used a temporary wing spell on Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom. Then, they took the sky heading for Manehattan. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ When they arrived, they all landed and Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom’s wings dispersed. With that, everypony decided to take off their costumes, and Star teleported the costumes to their respective homes. Suddenly, a pony passed by them, and bowed to Star. In response, Star just motioned for the stallion to rise. When he did, he looked at Star and said, “Prince Shooting Star my name is Book Page. I would like you to know if there's any book you need, feel free to stop by my shop. Just look for a sign that says Good Book on it.”  Star looked at him, obviously believing he was weird, and said, “Uh...sure thing.” With that, the stallion walked away. The others were struggling to stifle their laughter, but a quick glare from Star shut them up. This glare also made Shadow jump in the air out of fear. Star looked at him and said, with a chuckle, “Jeez Shadow, you’re about as shy as Fluttershy!” They all laughed at his joke. Afterwards, Scootaloo decided to remind everypony that they came to Manehattan for pranks. They started walking, only to discover there weren’t exactly a good deal of kids who celebrated Nightmare Night here. Star chuckled and said “Well, good thing we took off our costumes!” They continued walking, only to discover they were getting a little hungry. So, they stopped at the Grape Vine the best restaurant in Manehattan. However, when they asked for a table, the greeter asked, “Do you have a reservation?” In response, Star just stared at him and asked with a little annoyance in his voice, “You’re not even busy tonight! Do you have any clue who you are talking to with that tone?!” Star flailed his wings and let his horn glow, in an attempt to show how serious he was. With that, the greeter said, not intimidated in the slightest, “Ah, my sincerest apologies, your highness. I’ll give you a table right here. Waiter, would you mind escorting the prince and his friends to their table?” The waiter did so, and while they were walking, everypony in the restaurant bowed to Star. He just rolled his eyes and motioned for them to stop, which they did. Shadow Breeze was getting nervous being around all of the ponies when they took a seat, but Scootaloo sitting next to him mitigated his tensions. Subsequently, the waiter said, “Hello, my name is Silver Platter and I will be your waiter tonight. May I start you out with a drink?” Star said, “Yes, we will take a bottle of your finest wine.” The waiter was shocked, and asked, “Are you sure?” Star looked at him and kindly said, “Yes, I’m sure.” With that, they had a nice bottle of wine delivered to them quickly. Star poured a glass for himself, and smaller glasses for his group, and all of them were sipping on it, waiting on their food to arrive. Subsequently, Aunt Orange and Uncle Orange, who decided that today would be the best night for a fancy dinner, noticed Star and his group in the restaurant. They knew that they probably didn’t even get a reservation, and Star probably used his status to get a fancy dinner for his friends which they couldn’t even afford. So, after a brief discussion, they decided to write a letter to their son, Ripe Orange, who was at their house with his date, Diamond Tiara. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________(The Orange’s House)__________________________________ Ripe and Diamond were simply relaxing, watching a business TV show and enjoying each other’s company. With a smile, Ripe said, “Wow, some of those stock markets are going up! Thanks for helping me invest!” “Heh, no problem, Ripe. Sometimes it’s good to have someone as special as me on your side, right?” “Exactly. I’m really glad I met you, Diamond. Beautiful and smart, that’s a winning combination right there!” Diamond laughed. “You bet!” “So, what do you think of the house? Not as awesome as your mansion, but two stories and an HDTV isn’t that bad, right?” “Yeah! It’s pretty cozy in here.” With a nod from Ripe, the two continued to snuggle until about two minutes later, they heard a noisy ring from their door. Ripe smiled. “I’ll get it, Diamond.” With that, he got up and turned the door ajar, revealing a happy Ditzy Doo. She chirped, “I brought you a letter!” and hoofed that letter to Ripe. “Thanks, Ditzy. Say, how’s Dinky? Has her magic training gone well?” “Yeah! She’s been doing real well. She’s even mastered some time spells! I’m so proud of my little muffin!” “That’s great. I’ll be sure to tell Diamond. Later, Ditzy.” “Bye, Ripe.” Subsequently, Ditzy shut the door, and Ripe walked back to Diamond with the letter. When Ripe sat down, Diamond said, “A letter, huh? Do you know what it’s about?” “Nope. Let’s find out!” and Ripe proceeded to open the letter and read it. It said: Dear Ripe, We’re having a great time here at the Grape Vine. It’s truly nice to have a fancy dinner together again, but that’s not why we’re writing this. Unfortunately, a certain prince named Shooting Star and his poor friends have decided to infiltrate the place, and get fancy food from Manehattan. I’m well aware Star nor his friends are even from Manehattan, and I’m not even sure if they will even pay for their meal! He proceeded to stomp on the letter, and violently throw it in the trash, yelling, “How dare they!!! Messing with our school work, our play practises, and now my bucking city?! Oooh, I’m mad!” Diamond was enraged as well, and shouted, “Come on, Ripe! It’s still a bucking date, let’s go over right now! Don’t be a bucking pussy, let’s go!” Ripe nodded, and the two headed off to the Grape Vine together. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________(Back To The Grape Vine)___________________________ Star and the rest of the gang were having a good time laughing and eating at the same time. Shadow Breeze was even coming out of his shell a little. However, at one point, Star noticed Ripe and Diamond were at the table right next to them, and decided to say, “Hey, guys! You’re here too, huh?” However, Star was met with a piercing glare from Ripe, who said with malice in his voice, “Don’t play all friendly with me! How dare you waltz into Manehattan and take away the integrity from our finest restaurant! I bet you aren’t even going to pay for your meal!” Star rolled his eyes at the comment and said, “Well I’m here on royal business and it is about your family so how about you shut up, and yes, I do plan on paying.” Ripe shook his head. “I’m not bucking stupid. My family wrote me a letter saying I should intervene with you guys. You probably don’t even have any bits on you! Please, just leave!” Star then rolled his eyes and pulled out a fake pouch of bits. Diamond Tiara laughed and yelled, “Wow, you really think we’re stupid, don’t you? That’s fake, you disabled prick!” Star then looked at them and said, “You know what? I think that I’m just going to ignore you and enjoy my meal along with another royal member at this table.” Star then kissed Sweetie Belle. Ripe and Diamond then sighed and went back to their table, and Diamond muttered, “Bucking morons.” Star and his group proceeded to finish dinner, and unbeknownst to them, Ripe and Diamond had secretly convinced the management to charge Star’s table an “introduction fee” considering that they weren’t Manehattan citizens, and didn’t even use a reservation, something that’s normally required at the Grape Vine. However, considering Star had such a fantastic time, he didn’t even notice that the “introduction fee” covered half the cost of the meal, and simply paid and left. Once Ripe and Diamond saw that Star’s crew had left, they finished their meal and date with satisfaction, and really felt like their relationship had gone forwards that night. However, soon after Star left, he said, “Wait a second...there was this introduction fee on my check! Huh, whatever. No big deal, I have tons of bits.” With that, they all flew back to Ponyville to enjoy the rest of the night. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________(Ponyville)_________________________________ Luna was down enjoying the festivities when she saw a little pegasus colt with Ditzy and AJ. She walked up to him with a smile and said, “Hello, little foal. How are you tonight?” “I’m doing well Princess, thank you for asking!” With that, Star and his group landed next to Luna. Star hugged Luna, and then said, “Hello, Aunt Luna! Didn’t expect you here tonight!” She returned the hug. “Star, I do enjoy the festivities!” Ditzy looked at them and said, “Hey, Star! I took a letter to Ripe recently! He’s a cool colt, but unfortunately, he didn’t have any muffins with him today. Oh, well!” Star rolled his eyes and said, “Yeah, we ran into Diamond Tiara and Ripe Orange but its fine.The night passed rather quickly.” Ditzy became confused. “Ran into them? Isn’t that a good thing? They’re nice ponies deep down!” Star simply shook his head, and with that, Shadow Breeze went back to Doctor Whooves’s house, Star and Sweetie Belle went back to the library, Scootaloo went back home, and Apple Bloom went back to the farm. It was certainly a very fun Nightmare Night! Shooting Star was the first to open his eyes, after Snips and Snails had failed in creating a potion. Once he did, the first thing he saw was a bunch of fillies and colts. Star then stood up on two shaky hooves, and the first ponies he saw were Shadow Breeze and Scootaloo snuggled up. With a snicker, Star went to his almost destroyed saddlebag and grabbed a camera to take a picture. He tried using his magic to pick up the camera, but since it failed, he held it in his hooves instead. With that, he took a picture of the cuddling couple, saying to himself, ‘Well, this is going in the yearbook!’ At that moment, Star sees Shadow yawn and slowly open his eyes. Shadow saw Scootaloo next to him and blushed, but still decided to nuzzle her a little, causing Star to snicker once more. Shadow turned towards the sound to see his friend, the dark blue alicorn colt laughing at him, but didn’t become angry. Instead, he looked next to him and saw his copper fillyfriend sleeping peacefully beside him. Subsequently, Star said, “Morning, Shadow. I think Snails and Snips did something wrong. No surprise there,  but now the whole school has been turned into colts and fillies!” With that, Shadow’s eyes welled up with tears. “Don't worry, it should only last a few days, at most a week, according to my scan.” Afterwards, Star and Shadow heard a high pitched shouting. “What do you mean?!” At the last word, they heard the voice crack, so when they turned around, they were expecting to see and saw Sweetie Belle. Shadow was still convulsing, wanting to cry but held it in while saying, “M...my brother is out of town. I was staying at my house alone...this is bad!” At this, Scootaloo spoke up, “Don’t worry, you can stay with me.” Shadow blushed and turned to Scootaloo. “Are you sure that’ll be OK?” Scootaloo tried flying but only got a few inches of air before she collapsed to the ground. “Yeah, Shadow,  I'm sure my mom would be glad to let you stay with us.” Sweetie Belle, still angry, shouted, “But what about me? Rarity will freak when she sees me! Can’t you make it faster, Star?” Sweetie Belle proceeded to pout and widen her eyes that were welling up with tears, which made Star say, “I’m really sorry, Sweetie Belle, but I can’t do anything!” Then, Spitfire walked in the classroom to remind Scootaloo she had a doctor's appointment...only to see all of the fillies and colts in the room. She was panicked, but she took a deep breath and asked, “What happened here?” Star then explained everything  telling her how long it would take to wear off. Spitfire sighed, then said, “Well, either way, Shadow and Scootaloo both need to go to the doctor. I guess I can take them to Scootaloo’s old pediatrician.” With that, she did so. ______________________________________________________________________________ ______________________________________________________________________________ Spitfire walked into the cloud house with Shadow Breeze and Scootaloo sleeping on her back and Star was breathing heavily from following them by flying. Rainbow Dash was already home when she saw Scootaloo and Shadow Breeze, and once she did, she started laughing and yelled, “What in Celestia’s mane happened to them?!” Shadow Breeze was blushing so badly, he didn’t even hear Spitfire asking Dash if Shadow could stay with them for a week, to which Rainbow Dash said, “Sure! I don't see why not! I think it could be fun!” Afterwards, Scootaloo jumped off Spitfire’s back and said, “What does that mean, mom?” Rainbow Dash burst out into hysterics and said, “Oh nothing, my little filly!” causing the room to erupt with laughter. Well i am going to have to think a little but Snips and Snails where mixing chemicals to make some potion and it went wrong as you can tell sorry if it seems a little rushed This is Shadow Breeze as a colt //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 8: A Foalish Week Part 2 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 8: A Foalish Week Part 2 Hey everypony sorry if it has grammar errors but i had help editing it this is the last of the foalish week next xhapter will be different so i hope you like it :) Rainbow Dash and Spitfire came into Scootaloo’s room seeing her and Shadow Breeze snuggled up sleeping together. Spitfire awwed at the sight and Rainbow Dash got a prank in her head Spitfire looked at her and said “Hey Dashie, I am going to make breakfast don’t do anything to them.” with that Spitfire walked out of the room. Rainbow Dash helped herself to a bowl of warm water and put Shadow Breeze’s hoof inside the bowl. Seeing as the prank was working, shadow and Scootaloo woke up seeing a puddle beneath them, Shadow Breeze blushed then his eyes started to water. Running and crying he locked himself inside the bathroom. Scootaloo looked at her mom and said “what is wrong with you? You know he is shy and doing something like that is not helping.” Rainbow Dash hung her head low in shame as she walked towards the bathroom; she then gently knocked on the door. “Shadow come-on I ‘am sorry it was supposed to be a harmless prank Scootaloo is not mad i promise”. Shadow sniffed and asked “W-Why did you want to prank me in the first place?” Rainbow Dash just said “I simple thought it would be funny and I still think it was in a way. Now come on out”. Shadow then peeked out the door and said “H-How is that funny!? I-I’m so embarrassed and I did it in front of Scootaloo! S-She probably doesn’t want to be w-with me anymore.” Shadow began sniffling with tears in his eyes. Just then a little copper filly hugged him saying “That’s not true. My mom is just a jerk so you don’t need to be sad.” Spitfire had an idea she knew Shadow Breeze might like she then said “OK well, you two need a bath anyway so have fun.” She and Rainbow Dash left the two alone, Shadow still blushing and looked over at Scootaloo who just said “What’s wrong? Why are you blushing?” “W-Well....we’ll be taking a bath...t-together...” Scootaloo giggled at him and said well i think Star is sleeping on the couch if you want he can join us. “I-I think I’ll be OK....because I’ll be with you.” Scootaloo hopped in the tub giggling the whole time. Shadow joined her with a small smile on his face. After they got out of the tub Scootaloo flapped her wings trying to take catch some air thus making water fly everywhere. Shadow carefully shook himself dry to not to get Scootaloo wet. “Scoot, I know you want to fly again, I do too, but we just can’t in our current state.” Scootaloo groaned and said to him “Yea but it’s boring not being able to fly, heck Star can fly! “ Yeah but he’s more used to it then us due to being an alicorn. Besides he was still getting really tired while flying. We’re only going to be like this for a few more days, we might as well make the best of it.” Scootaloo looked at shadow funny and said to him “Oh yea the best of not being able to fly”, Shadow got a bit closer to her and said “Well....at least we don’t have to worry about schoolwork while we’re like this. Besides...” he blushed a little “w-we can spend more time together.” They did not hear Spitfire or Rainbow Dash walking in until they heard a D’aww coming from the doorway. Shadow blush deepened knowing what he just said in front of Scootaloo’s parents. When Spitfire broke the silence saying “Aren’t you two a cute little couple?” Shadow’s blush remained, but he stayed next to Scootaloo and shyly smiled. “I-I consider myself lucky to be with her.” Scootaloo rolled her eyes making yet another attempt to fly, she then said “you you're not the lucky I ‘am.” Shadow smiled and flapped his wings attempting flight himself. Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes at them saying “well this sucks they are two foals that can’t fly.”  The moment she said that, Shadow slowly began to hover off the ground. Star rolled off the couch and with a loud thud he hit the ground “OUCH! I ‘am ok.” While getting back on hiss hooves he laid eyes on shadow and said “Shadow you are hovering!” Scootaloo then gave a little pout where she could only get a few inches off the ground. Shadow frowned at seeing Scootaloo sad he blushes as he came behind her and held onto her as they both began to hover. “I-I can at least help you fly. “ Scootaloo then sighed and said “why do you always feel like helping me? “Cause I...l-love you Scoot.” Shadow said nervously. Spitfire then asked so do you kids want to do something today _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Celestia had received word on the incident and made it to Rainbows home and nuzzled her son awake Star groaned saying “no let me sleep please.” Celestia said to him “wake up my little one” Stars eyes shot awake after he heard his mother's voice while she chuckled at him she then said no need to fret Star i know what happened and it will work out in a week i am just glad to see you so small again she nuzzled him again she then carefully helped him off of the couch Star glared at her saying “you do know that I ‘am still myself mentally right?”  “Why of course I do” she smiled while putting him on her back saying “well let’s get you back to the library” ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Time passed as it tends to do and then the week went by once Friday arrived everypony was back to normal. Star woke up to Sweetie Belle snuggled up to him, he was happy to be back to normal. He then heard a knock on the front door he then went downstairs and when he opened the door he was greeted by the stern face of Filthy Rich. So he regained his composure and said greetings loyal subject how may I be of assistance to you on this fine day? Filthy Rich just snorted and said to him “yes prince i will be seeing you in court soon.” Well i hope you like it so far //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 9: Court Cases And Star's Plan //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 9: Court Cases And Star's Plan Enjoy the chapter “Court is now in session!” The cacophonous voice of Mayor Mare rang out among the gigantic crowd, gathering to view the trial of the century. On the defendant’s side was Star, along with all of his friends, Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, Apple Bloom, and even ShadowBreeze, and on the other side, Diamond Tiara, Ripe Orange, Silver Spoon, and the former lawyer turned prosecutor, Leather Briefcase, who also happened to be Diamond’s cousin. While this is only his fifth case as a prosecutor, he has had a perfect record so far, and feels confident and ready to support his cousin. With that, Mayor Mare called Shooting Star to the stand when he arrived, he sat down. Then, Leather Briefcase asked, “Prince Shooting Star, is it true you were in Manehattan on Nightmare Night?” Star who was still confident said, “Yes, sir!” Subsequently, Leather Briefcase smiled as Star got down from the stand. Once Star left, he said, “I would like to present some evidence.” With that, he held up a tattered piece of clothing and asked, “Prince Shooting Star, do you know what this is?” Star gasped loudly, leading to another smile by Leather. “I thought so. This is from your costume you wore on Nightmare Night.” Star began to panic, and asked, “H...how do you know that?” Concurrently, Diamond gave Ripe a hoof-five, and said, “We’ve got him! I’m so happy!” to which Ripe simply smiled. Leather continued. “How do I know that? It’s very simple. Your, and only your hoofprints were found on it, and it was Nightmare Night. There’s no way you weren’t wearing it. To add, this was found in the Grape Vine, obviously meaning...you went in there. There’s nothing that suggests otherwise. Your Honor, I believe this case is closed.” Star began to stammer, but managed to say, “But...but...how do you know I ate there? Huh?!” “Oh, I don’t know you ate there, but the two ponies beside me do. Your Honor, I would like to call Diamond Tiara and Ripe Orange to the stand.” With that, Mayor Mare said, “The court accepts this request.” Afterwards, Diamond and Ripe both walked to the stand, and Mayor Mare asked for their name and occupation. “My name is Ripe Orange. I am a student, but I am a training guitarist and part-time business associate.” Then, Diamond spoke. “My name is Diamond Tiara Rich. I am also a student, but I am a training business leader, and a part time singer/rapper.” Then, Mayor Mare said, “Would you care to give your testimony? Feel free to alternate.” Ripe asked, “Diamond, should I start?” to which Diamond nodded her head. “Alright. Diamond and I were on a date; simply relaxing and watching TV at my house. Suddenly, the doorbell rang, and Ditzy Doo delivered me a letter. That letter was from my parents, and it said that Shooting Star and his crew were having dinner at Manehattan’s finest restaurant, the Grape Vine. This infuriated me, and both Diamond and I went to the restaurant enraged. We sat at a table right by Star’s group, which included Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, Apple Bloom, and ShadowBreeze. I wanted to ignore them at first, but when Star had the nerve to speak to me after violating the integrity of Manehatan’s restaurant, I exploded, and asked for Star to leave the restaurant several times. He never did.” Afterwards, Diamond added, “I was there through all of this, and got just as angry as Ripe did. He isn’t exactly one to lose his temper, so Star must have really irritated him. Also, I remember Star ordered hay over lettuce.” Finally, Ripe concluded by saying, “That’s all, Your Honor.” “I see. Does the defense have anything to say about this?” Star smirked, and took out his bill for the Grape Vine. “Yes, I do. The reason why I ate dinner at the Grape Vine is because Ripe and Diamond thought it would be funny to bill me extra on a restaurant here in Ponyville, shown in this bill.” Ripe and Diamond started laughing, until Ripe finally said, “Are you serious? Allow me to completely discredit your point. First off, there is a line at the bottom of the bill that I know is not in any Ponyville restaurant. Second, this is from the Grape Vine, because of the special squiggly line at the bottom. Yes, I will admit that I did convince the management to charge Star extra for his meal, but I honestly felt like I had to find some way to get Star to realize he can’t just do anything and expect no negative consequences, and they completely agreed with my logic. Besides, he didn’t even have a reservation, nor was a citizen in Manehattan, both of which are requirements for entering the Grape Vine! Heck, even my parents wanted Star out of there! Third, and most importantly, I never saw that evidence before the case, meaning that the police did not ratify this evidence, meaning that it’s illegal. I mean, not that your points were valid, but even if they were, you can’t use them on that bill because it’s illegal! End of story.” Leather Briefcase added, “And there you have it. I completely agree with all of these points, and the evidence still stands that Star entered the Grape Vine, and two people who were at the Grape Vine on the same night saw Star there. This case has an obvious verdict, and should be closed immediately.” With that, Mayor Mare adjourned the court for the jury to deliberate, and after thirty minutes, court got back in session. She then read all of the votes of the twelve members of the jury. “Not Guilty, Not Guilty, Not Guilty, Not Guilty, Not Guilty, Not Guilty, and Not Guilty. The verdict has been decided. Prince Shooting Star is Not Guilty! Also, for the record, all of the remaining votes were Not Guilty as well.” Ripe and Diamond were absolutely livid, and stormed out of the courtroom, while Leather simply sighed and packed up his briefcase, knowing damn well he won that case inside. He didn’t realize how badly ponies defend royalty, and knows not to take cases like those again. With that, he mumbled, “I’m sorry, Diamond.” ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ After that, Star and the rest of them cheered as they jumped out of the courtroom, while Diamond Tiara and Ripe Orange walked out glaring at Star angrily. “I don’t get it!” Diamond Tiara screamed after she glared at Star. Ripe sighed. “I don’t either. Is it so hard to put limits on royalty?” “It shouldn’t be! Ugh, this is muleshit! Leather performed so well too!” “I know. I wouldn’t worry about him, I’m sure he felt comfortable with his performance. He’s better at being a prosecutor than a defense attorney.” “Yeah, you’re right, but that’s not what’s pissing me off now! Hmm...you know...maybe we should stop harming Star directly. Perhaps indirect means would work best.” “Huh? What are you...oh, I get it! That sounds like a great idea! So...how should we do it? Convince Celestia to put most of her bits into a falling stock market? Or should we use other business means?” “Let’s start with the former, and go with the latter afterwards. It’ll be so satisfying to watch their bits get obliterated. Ah, I’m excited just thinking about it! Let’s go, Ripe!” With that, the two left the courthouse, content with their plan.  After that, Star and his group left the courthouse. Subsequently, Star looked at Sweetie Belle and said, “Hey Sweetie wanna go out and do something later today?” He looked at Scootaloo, Apple Bloom, and ShadowBreeze making sure they knew it was just for them while Sweetie Belle said, “Sure! I needed to go to Canterlot anyway, so can we go there? We can stop and see your mom and Aunt Luna and Cadance!” Star smiled at that, and then thought of looking at a ring for Sweetie Belle so he could propose to her. After a few seconds of thought, he spaced out, but snapped out of it when somepony said, “So do you all want to go and get something to eat?” It was Scootaloo who asked that, and everypony in the group said, “Yes!” in perfect sync. With that, they walked to the cafe they always ate at, and once they arrived,  they sat down. “S-so what all do you plan on doing in Canterlot?” ShadowBreeze asked. Star responded, “Well...I plan on visiting my family. You know, same old stuff.”  “So boring...you should go and see the Wonderbolts!” Scootaloo chimed in. Sweetie Belle added, “Sorry, Scoots, we aren’t you nor Rainbow Dash.” With that, they all laughed, and AppleBloom pulled her hat up and asked, “So, ShadowBreeze. Who are yer parents?” In response, ShadowBreeze gulped and said, nervously, “W-w-well my mom and dad are Fluttershy and Big Macintosh. Y...you should know that by now AppleBloom!” Apple Bloom laughed. “Alright, crazy colt!” DUNDUNDUN what is Star planning only i know sorry it took me a bit to get the chapter up but i have been lazy //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 10: Keeping Secrets //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 10: Keeping Secrets When the train arrived in Canterlot, Star and Sweetie Belle exited quickly. A few ponies bowed to Star but he just signaled for them to rise as he continued walking. Suddenly, Sweetie Belle saw a few shops she wanted to stop in, giving Star an idea. Beginning his plan, Star said, “Hey Sweetie I need to make a stop. Could we can meet back at the castle in about an hour?” Sweetie Belle gave him an adorable smile. “Sure thing Star!” With that, they separated. ______________________________________________________________________________ Star walked into Fine Cut’s jewelers sighing as a few ponies bowed to him. Once more, Star signaled for them to rise, and when he walked up to the counter, he saw a smiling older unicorn stallion. With a smile, Star said, “Fine Cut, I can’t believe it! You got your dream, and you now have businesses almost everywhere.” Fine Cut smiled. “Thank you, Star. What might I help you with? Is it something for that filly you have been dating for years now?” “Yes it is. I was wanting an engagement ring and I came here because you have nothing but the best.” Star said. Fine Cut laughed, and proceeded to show Star a ring with pure diamonds emeralds and rubies embedded in it. “This is my best work yet. I made it a while ago so I want you to give it to that little filly you have been seeing for years now.” Fine Cut said. Astonished, Star merely gazed at the ring with a smile,  knowing what he was going to buy for his true love. With that, Star stated, “Fine Cut, I will take that ring and I will pay in full right now,” and proceeded to levitate a large bag of bits to Fine Cut. His jaw dropped. “Th-thank you. Star, let me get this ready for you to take back to the castle.” Subsequently, he put the ring in a velvet cloth, and then put the ring in a box. Finally, he levitated it to Star who teleported it back to his room in Ponyville. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The hour had passed rather fast, and Star and Sweetie Belle meet up at the castle as planned. However, when they started walking to the Royal Gardens they saw Diamond Tiara and Ripe Orange walking with a guard standing at their side. This infuriated Star as he rushed up to confront the guard. “Private Aegis...what in the name of Equestria has gotten into you letting those two in the royal gardens?” “Prince Shooting Star...I’m sorry, but they asked me if they could go in so I let them in.” Aegis said while his wings lowered to his side while Star was standing their not believing a word of it “I will have your captain deal with you later but for now we have two trespassing ponies to deal with.” With that, Star walked into the royal gardens grabbing Diamond Tiara and Ripe Orange in his magic saying, with a malicious grin, “Diamond Tiara and Ripe Orange, first you harass me in Ponyville and now you trespass in my home? I don’t think so.” At this point, Ripe blew his fuse. “Put us down, you moronic shithead! Can’t you just leave us alone for once in our lives?! Because if you did, you would understand the difference between harassment, and abusing power! Our harassment was not nearly as bad, and much more understandable than you abusing your power like that. I bet you think we’re peasants, the way you step on us! I’m not going to tolerate your insubordination anymore! You need somepony to put you in your place, because the world is not your oyster! You suck! You’ve done nothing but inflict pain and misery on our lives, and Diamond and I will destroy you soon!” “I do not think such a thing, but you are in the royal gardens after scaring one of our guards. Sweetie Belle, please go and get Captain Armor.” Star said while still holding them both while Sweetie Belle ran off to go and get Shining Armor “Heh, do you honestly think he’s going to harm ponies like us who did nothing wrong? Someone needs to get a claw, because your head is so far up your flank!” Diamond laughed. “I never said he would harm you but you did make a threat to royalty and that is a crime so who knows what he will do” Star said while sitting down on a bench “Maybe if you are both good enough i can get you off with banishment” Star laughed remembering the story the Fluttershy had to him. Ripe sighed and whispered to Diamond, “In one ear and out the other, huh? The royal line is absolute mule shit.” Diamond chuckled softly, and whispered, “Yeah. This dick doesn’t have a right to treat ponies like us, or any ponies for that matter, like insignificant peasants. The only pony who has been treated nicely by him is Sweetie Belle. He must love marshmallows...” Ripe laughed. “Yeah, I’m not worried. I’m sure my words will sink in; nopony is that dumb.” Diamond sighed. “I wish, Ripe...” After that was said Shining Armor came walking up. With that, Star said, “Here you go Shining, they’re all yours.” passing the two intruders to the captain of the royal guard. “I was able to apprehend them after a while, though Ripe Orange made a threat to the royal family so do with them as you will.” With that, he gave Diamond Tiara and Ripe Orange to Shining Armor through levitation. “Let’s see, Diamond Tiara and Ripe Orange. Now where is your third member Silver Spoon?” Shining Armor asked in a matter-of-fact tone. Ripe replied by saying, “Oh, Spoon is at home. It’s the weekend, so Diamond and I thought we should visit someplace beautiful. And what place is more beautiful than these gardens? Diamond, Spoon, and I have been to the wedding, but we were never able to get a good look here. Now, may I make my case as to why I insulted Star, sir?” “Well, you were both trespassing, and making a threat against royalty is a major crime but let me hear your side.” Shining Armor said while keeping his eyes on the two. Ripe smiled. “Thank you, sir. Well, not to offend, but I personally feel like Star has been majorly abusing his power. Since the first day he entered our grade, he has done nothing but increase the amount of homework we have had, and made the rest of the class miserable with his constant fighting with our teacher. Granted, the teacher wasn’t very kind, but Star should have kept his cool, like the rest of us did. One day, he even tried to attack Diamond Tiara, and fought with me when I defended her, even though I did punch him in the stomach. The fight broken up quickly, but Star continued to be a thorn in our side. When Diamond and I were having a peaceful date in Manehattan, Star thought it would be a wonderful idea to eat at Manehattan’s finest restaurant, the Grape Vine, without a reservation or even being a citizen of Manehattan to begin with. Diamond and I confronted him, and told him of his wrongdoings, but he remained ignorant. To add, during a court case, Star was able to weave his way out of it, merely because he is “royalty” and was unable to be punished for his own actions. Finally, this whole encounter at the Royal Gardens. First off, there is nothing that suggests this is private around here, and second, Star instantly picked us up, taunted, and insulted us, when we were merely praising the beauty around here. I firmly believe Diamond and I cannot develop our relationship or have any fun with Star around for these very reasons, and he should have his power checked in some way. That’s all I have to say, sir.” “Yes, but need I tell you about the fake charge you had them give me. There are so many wrong things you have both have done, so I think it’s best if you both shut both of your mouths.” Star said with annoyance in his tone, to which Ripe and Diamond sighed and shook their heads. “Now, a few of those things have been dealt with. The part about royalty not being able to get in trouble is not true.” Shining Armor said. Ripe looked at Shining Armor with a perplexed look. “Really? It didn’t seem like that. Also, we charged Star for something that was not fake. If it was, our legal papers would have never been accepted, sir.” “I understand your side, and I will not punish you harshly, but I am still giving both of you a fine of 5,000 bits, seeing as it is fair thing to do. I want that fine payed with in the month and I don’t want to hear of either of you in these gardens without their being a good reason, such as hosting a gathering of sorts. I am going to kindly ask that you both go back to Ponyville right now.And we will have guards watching both of you from what i understand you have been harassing Star and calling Princess Luna,Nightmare Moon the next time i hear of anything wrong you two do or make anymore threats to royalty i will see to it that you both are thrown into the dungeons” Ripe and Diamond grumbled something as they began to walk away about hating Star ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Star and Sweetie Belle had found a good place in the gardens to have a picnic while eating some of the finest cuisines Star had poured Sweetie Belle and himself another glass of wine “Hey Sweetie Belle” Star said while taking a bit of his salade “Yes Star what is it?” Asked Sweetie Belle while looking into his green eyes “You remember when me and you first met” Star asked her “I would never forget that day it was at Pinkie Pie’s welcoming party for you” Sweetie Belle said “Yup that was the day the same one i fell in love with you” Star said to her while covering her with his wing “Its getting late we should head back to PonyVille now” he added as his horn began to glow  effectively teleporting them back to the library landing in the living room making ShadowBreeze jump in the air screaming “Wow Breeze you scream like a little filly you know that” Star said laughing at him while Shadow Breeze was shaking still startled “I-i  know but only when i get really scared” Shadow Breeze said while ShadowFoot was trying not to laugh at the pegasus “Well either way Breeze i need you to come with me right now” Star said taking Shadow Breeze to his room closing the door and locking it “Star what are you doing” ShadowBreeze asked while sitting on one of the pillows on the floor “Ok Breeze i am going to show you something but you can not tell Sweetie Belle about it” Star said Shadow Breeze just nodded while Star pulled the ring out Shadow Breeze’s eyes got wide “Star that is amazing she will love it i am sure” Shadow Breeze said looking at the ring the was Star did “I could not afford anything like that for Scoots” He added “Well i might be able to help you out their buddy” Star said poking the sensitive part of the pegasus wing making Shadow laugh “Star you better treat that little filly right do you hear me” ShadowFoot said stepping in the room making both Star and Shadow Breeze jump in the air “I will Shadow don’t worry i love her with all my heart” Star said smiling looking at a picture of his beloved when Star hid the ring again everypony else left the room but him when Sweetie Belle walked in they shared a passionate kiss “Hey Star i need to know something its about the band what if we got famous would you leave royal duties and stay in the band” Sweetie Belle asked worriedly Star laughed and smiled “I would do anything and everything for you Sweetie Belle” Star said kissing Sweetie Belle while smiling the whole time ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The next day Star and Sweetie Belle  woke up heading down stairs seeing a very shocked Twilight “Star you're awake and on time” Twilight said shocked while Star rolled his eyes at her “I know right stop the presses” Sweetie Belle said with a slight giggle making Star glare at them both “Very funny i am right here” Star said glaring at them both “I’m just as shocked as both of you” Spike said laughing “Ya well at least i am not a baby dragon” Star replied while Spike took his apron off throwing it on the floor “Spike pick that up right now!” Twilight scolded the dragon who picked the apron up grumbling while there was a huge puff of smoke when it cleared everypony was shocked to say the least as what they saw “No” Sweetie Belle said “Bucking” Star said “Way” Shadow said finishing what Star and Sweetie Belle were too shocked to say “Spike oh my goodness are you ok” Twilight said rushing to him but when she pulled the apron off her jaw dropped “Uggg Twilight what happened, Hey where is my foot at” Spike said shocked at what he saw in the mirror //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 11:The Purple Colt //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 11:The Purple Colt I know right a new chapter this fast stop the presses i hope you enjoy [/color Spike was sat on one of Twilight Sparkle’s chairs that were placed in the opposite end of the room from the many sitting area. As Spike was sitting at the very end of the chair, trying to adjust to the many new muscles and joints he now received. As Spike was trying to figure out how to work his joints, Shooting Star immediately spoke to Twilight. “Twilight, how the heck did this happen?” Shooting Star demanded to get an answer out of the purple unicorn. Twilight replied, “Come on Star, how am I supposed to know? I mean, this is all too unknown for me to figure out myself, but I think we should try something...” As Shooting Star went upstairs to find an ancient spell book so that he could possibly find what he would be looking for, Spike came walking in, but in the process, tripping over instead of walking fluently towards the other sitting area. “Ouch!” Spike screamed as he was muzzle first into the ground creating a loud ‘thud’ while he landed. “Oh my gosh! Spike, are you alright?” Twilight began as she levitated Spike onto the sofa with her telekinesis. As Spike began to rub his new head with his new front appendage, Shooting Star returned back down stairs with a book in his magical grasp and went straight the the center of the room, placing the book down on the table that was build around the centre of the tree. “I think this is what we are looking for!” Shooting Star announced as he placed the dusty book onto the flat top and flicked through the book with his magic. The library door suddenly opened with ShadowFoot stepping inside, he was out to get some possible help, but decided to just have a wander around as the rest tried to fix Spike’s problem; everyone turned to face him. As he walked into the library, Shooting Star began to explain what himself and Twilight Sparkle are attempting to do with Spike and his newly found form. Soon after a lot of explaining and spell trying later, Shooting Star and Twilight Sparkle decided to give up on trying to fix Spike’s situation until they can get in touch with the princesses. As Spike was fiddling with his new forelegs and hind legs and adjusting more to the movement of the appendages; Sweetie Belle came back into the library about one hour after the events of trying to fix Spike’s awkward situation. She explained that she had to go see her friends who were at the farm on the outskirts of Ponyville at the time, as she trotted into the room, Shooting Star had to also give her a lecture on the situation. “So, how are we going to fix this?” Sweetie Belle asked to Shooting Star in a concerned manner. Shooting Star just came up to her and placed a hoof on her face, just smiling at her with a look of hope from him; she knew that she could trust her own true love to sort this situation out after all, but it was a low chance of actually fixing this whole situation. “I really need to get used to this! Ugh...” Spike exclaimed as he tried to stretch out his forelegs in the position he wanted, but sometimes he would fail to do so. “Having hooves are a pain Twilight! How are you ponies supposed to handle this limitation?” Spike then tried to hop off of the sofa, ending up with him muzzle first into the wooden floor of the library again. Spike soon decided just give up after a while and just laid down on the sofa, ending up with him asleep after about ten minutes of trying to keep himself under control. After everypony went to their chambers, Spike was left to lay on the sofa in the sitting area to rest and hopefully forget about the whole ‘freaking out’ situation; Spike began to squirm as he shuffled around the sofa with his new body at motion. While moving around; trying to get in a comfy position, a little bump started to appear on the off side of his right side of the new body, as well as the left side, while with him being asleep, he didn’t feel the new appendages forming from his sides. These new appendages were so small, but as well as being naked, bones also would start to form within his new equine body. With him already having a horn in place, he was not ready to conjure magic at all, but these new appendages will affect him a lot more. The new appendages were currently about the size of a peanut, but they were there, showing off with the nakedness of plain equine skin, no feathers, no fur, just plain skin. Spike does not feel this happening at all, but it is happening. The next morning, Twilight Sparkle was the first to get out from her slumber to check up on Spike and his new equine body. With her walking down the stairs, she notices the purely purple unicorn sprawled on the floor with a blanket on the sofa. She just snorted at the pure silliness that the dragon-turned-pony had shown. She decided just to leave him be instead of levitating him back onto the sofa, leaving him to nap further. Of course Spike would squirm now and again with some pain coming from his body as he attempted to move his body, but overall he got his peaceful sleep. Approximately one hour later, Shooting Star and Sweetie Belle awoke from their sleep and went down stairs to go about their daily mornings; however, with noticing Spike sprawled all over the wooden floor, Shooting Star was the first to laugh, with Sweetie Belle following on. “Oh my gosh, this is too hilarious! Quick, somepony get him up!” Shooting Star sniggered and laughed and Spike began to stir awake from his long sleep. “He’s waking up now, quick, stop laughing”. Spike began to speak, “Uhh...What’s going on...Oh come on! I’m still a pony!” Spike then tried to walk again, but failed to do so; he decided to just get back onto the sofa and sit down for the time being. “Why does this have to happen to me?” He sighed. “Hey, it’s not too bad, I mean, you’re a unicorn after all!” Sweetie Belle assured him. “Wait, what?” His ears perked up. “Yeah Spike, you’re a unicorn...I thought you would’ve noticed!” Shooting Star replied to his question while lifting his right foreleg to point at his forehead. Spike then looked up with his eyes “Oh my...” It was around eleven in the morning Spike had barely gotten used to his new appendages that he was now trotting around the living area falling on his face a couple of times when he winced in pain again Twilight and everyone else noticed this as well and looked right at the small ‘colt’ “Spike are you feeling okay?” Twilight asked him as he then collapsed to the ground with a large amount of pain, everyone who was in the room at the time could see from his eyes that he was in quite some pain. “No, my back is killing me!” Spike exclaimed while grinding his teeth as his body laid limp on the ground “Twilight, maybe we should get somepony here to look at him” Shooting Star suggested while he was restraining Spike in his magic so he could not cause some sort of chaos inside the library. “Yeah Twilight, I can actually agree with Shooting Star on this one” ShadowFoot added to the conversation. "No! We should keep Spike's situation confidential" Twilight retorted as she glared at them both; in the meantime Spike was wailing in high amounts of pain, soon after all his screaming, he  ended up blacking out from the pain he had received. Then, Shooting Star then levitated him onto the sofa so he could rest once again. ShadowFoot walked up to Spike’s unconscious body, placing his right fore hoof on Spike’s body, soon, he realised that there was this plain, naked skin visible by him as he closely inspected it, he got Twilight Sparkle to come take a look at Spike’s newly forming appendages. “Uhh...Twilight I think you should come and look at this; like now” ShadowFoot said in a surprise and yet, calm tone. “What is it Shadow?” Asked Twilight Sparkle as she looked towards Spike’s side where ShadowFoot’s hoof was placed. Spike awoke on the couch he had slept on the night before to the smell of fresh pancakes Spike was levitated off the couch much to his surprise “Don’t worry Spike I’ve got you” Shooting Star said as he place Spike on the ground with his telekinesis. “Huh what Star who is cooking? It smells great” Spike began to ask as his ears perked up in response. Shooting Star just ignored him and then walked into the kitchen where the source of the lovely smell was coming from, Spike decided to roll back into a suitable position that he wanted. He then began to place his hooves together like someone would temple hands, he then smiled when he felt some form of grasp on each hoof. “Well, this is definitely different, but it is pretty cool now,” Spike announced as he laughed hysterically on the sofa. “Yeah, I can hopefully get used to this, maybe I should get up” He continued. Spike then began to get off the sofa, he then began to sway his new body so he could get used to the new muscles again. He felt a new (but familiar) muscle at the back of his body, he then soon discovered that this muscles would control the movement of his new tail; this intrigued him a lot more. ShadowFoot then entered the room, knocking Spike out of his new discovery, “Spike! Wake up, are you coming to get your food?” He asked. Spike then realised that he was talking to him, and replied to the question, “Oh, yeah, I’ll be there in a moment, just let me try to...” He then began to move his right foreleg forward to walk, then he moved his right hind leg; he tried to repeat this pattern with the opposite appendages in a same way, but in failing to do so, he fell once again muzzle first into the hard-wooden floor. “Gah, these muscles are really frustrating! How do you even do this?” Spike exclaimed as ShadowFoot came up to him and decided to pick him up with his telekinesis and placed Spike’s new body on his back. “Hey...Put me down Shadow!” He began shouting in a frustrated tone. “No, you’ll just have to deal with it for now, until we can sort out your whole situation” Shadow retorted, “I mean, we ponies are used to walking like this, you’re not, I’m sure you will learn how to walk properly some day”. “Come on Shadow! Let me down, I want to walk for myself!” “No!” “Come on!” “No” “Please, come on Shadow, I’ll give you whatever you want!” “Still no, Spike.” As ShadowFoot with an angry Spike on his back walked into the kitchen, Spike said something that was awfully peculiar, “Come on Shadow! You weren’t even a pony ten years ago!” Spike shouted that was faintly heard by Shooting Star. “What was that?” Shooting Star asked as he suddenly focused on Spike’s ridiculous announcement. “Nothing!” ShadowFoot and Twilight Sparkle shouted in synchronization as Shadow then placed Spike into a chair making him cough for a short while. Shooting Star then walked towards the dining table, placing down his food and sitting down, “Hmm, are you sure he didn’t say anything? I swear I heard something...I just didn’t hear it that well” He asked as he turned to ShadowFoot. “It was nothing Star, you must’ve been hearing things again you silly pony” ShadowFoot replied as Sweetie Belle entered the room with a letter in her telekinesis. “Huh? What’s that Sweetie Belle?” ShadowFoot then asked the white unicorn. “Huh oh it’s just a letter from Rarity” Sweetie Belle replied as she kept reading the letter from her older sister, “She is coming home tomorrow from her trip in Manehatten”. “Wait she is? Wow time passes doesn’t it?” Shooting Star said while levitating his coffee and taking a nice long sip of it. “Wait, Rarity is coming back? Oh no” Spike said as he began to panic and shiver. “Spike calm down, okay? She won’t think any less of you!” Twilight said while seeing Spike was visibly flustered “Okay Spike, calm down, or I’m going to dump cold water on you and without your scales it is going to be so cold!” Shooting Star threatened him, making him shiver even more. “Okay, okay, I’ll try and calm down!” Spike retorted while trying to pick his fork up with his hooves. “Okay good, Spike, do you need some help there?” Sweetie Belle asked while earning a glare from Spike “No, I can get it on my own, thanks!” Spike mumbled while trying to grip the fork with his hooves, but failing in turn.”How the heck do...You...Ponies do this!” Spike shouted, making the room echo as a response. “Calm down...It take’s practice man” Shooting Star said to the depressed new colt. “Yeah, well, all it takes is for you to shut up” Spike grumbled as he lifted the fork and began to eat. Shooting Star and Sweetie Belle got to the school in record time knowing they had a delay made it better for them when they met up with the others “Hey AppleBloom, hey Scootaloo, hey Shadow Breeze” Shooting Star and Sweetie Belle said in unision. “Oh hey there...” Shadow Breeze squeaked out. “Well look who is out of tha’ bed, ah’ swear Sweetie Belle, ah’ never thought tha’ day would come when Star is out of bed before the first bell!” Apple Bloom exclaimed. “Please shut up AppleBloom...” Shooting Star announced quietly, rolling his eyes at Apple Bloom while they got their books out of their appropriate lockers. “Well, let’s get to class, I already have a feeling that git, Zoom is going to give us the crap like usual today” Scootaloo deadpanned after a few minutes of talking they went to class knowing today was going to be rough, especially for Shooting Star and Scootaloo, seeing as their first race was coming up after a while. After Shooting Star and Scootaloo’s flight team practice, they then parted ways as Sweetie Belle and Shooting Star went back to the library. When they walked in they saw a colt muzzle first on the floor, he was sighing heavily. “I hate my life...So much” Spike exclaimed as he attempted to get back up, eventually he gave up and Sweetie Belle decided to help him up. “Don’t worry Spike, you'll get the hang of it soon enough” Sweetie Belle said while she put him back on the sofa with her telekinesis. “Yeah, in ten years!” Shooting Star chuckled as he placed his left fore hoof over his muzzle. Spike and Sweetie Belle decided to ignore Shooting Star’s immature comment. “Shut up Star you idiot” Spike exclaimed. Shooting Star then came up to Spike and levitated him where both of their muzzles contacted each other. “What are you doing!” Spike shouted as he attempted to break free. “Spike, do you realise who I am?” Shooting Star asked in a low, but angry voice. “An idiot?” Spike replied, still trying to break free. Shooting Star then pulled Spike away from him, throwing him onto the sofa, making it literally split in half. “Wrong answer, Spike!” Shooting Star then levitated him again. Soon, before he could do anything else, he was interrupted by Sweetie Belle. “Star! What are you doing to him!” She shouted at Shooting Star, making him turn around to see a face of disgust. “I’ve never seen you like this...What has gotten into you?” She continued. “Sweetie Belle, I really am sick of being called an ‘idiot’ all the time, do you have any idea how stressful my life has been? I’ve had to go with many problems with my life, and it’s been really bad recently!” Shooting Star retorted in a very angry manner. “This time, I can’t take it anymore...” “But Star! What about us? What about all of what we’ve been through? We’ve been together for a while now, we would always stick up for each other, together!” She added and she pulled Spike away from Shooting Star’s telekinesis and placed him on the floor behind as he began to sob slightly. “I never expected you to become this ‘monster’ Star...I expect better from you, I mean, what are you going to tell you mother?” “Sweetie Belle, I never meant to hurt anypony...I’m just sick of all of this abuse I’ve been getting recently, I also have royal duties to attend to now and again, which is just a pain!” Shooting Star then levitated the broken sofa into the air, placing a piece of wood underneath both pieces, keeping them together. He then sat down, sighing. “I didn’t want this to happen, I’m just...So mad right now I now can’t bare it” “Star, I’m sure we can sort this out, but you have to get yourself sorted out until then” “You’re right...I suppose” “Of course I am Star, we can work this out, together, like always” “Yeah” They both then stared into each other’s eyes, seeing passion of love in one enough, then, they slowly began to bring their muzzles together, slowly...Eventually, they got there, and it then turned into a full kiss. As with Shadow Foot and Twilight being out of the library at the time, the whole tree was quiet for a good five minutes as all three of them sat there; Spike was still sobbing quietly as Sweetie Belle tried to sooth him. ‘I’m now beginning to wonder...How did Spike turn into a pony?’ Shooting Star thought to himself as he turned to look at the now mostly calm Spike that was at the left end of the broken sofa. Forgetting about it, he just turned back to face the wall filled with books.while he used his magic to fix the sofa Both Shooting Star and Sweetie Belle had to explain to the shocked elders about what happened between Spike and Shooting Star; with a long day’s work, and a big dinner later, all of them decided to head to their separate beds except for Spike, who still had to lay on one of the sofas that were in the living area. “Good night everypony! I hope tomorrow will be better” Shooting Star shouted from the stairwell, so the rest of them could hear what he had to say. “Good night Star!” the rest of them shouted from their separate rooms as well as Spike shouted from the living area in the main library. Spike woke up the next day to an intense pain in his back hurting more than ever when he stood up on his hooves the pain ceased Spike then tried walking only to fall on the floor again with a loud thud while Twilight and everypony else was walking down the stairs “Morning Spike i take it you and your new best friend the floor are having a good time” Shooting Star said with a chuckle making Spike groan “Shut up Star” Spike mumbled with a face full of floor while everypony had gotten quiet staring at Spike “What are you looking at?” Asked Spike “Spike you have wings” Sweetie Belle said in shock “Wait i have wings no way” Spike exclaimed in disbelief looking at the wings that adorn his sides “Lookie there Spike you're a pegacorn” Twilight and ShadowFoot said Ok voting time do you want Spike to stay a pony or do you want him to turn back into a dragon [/color //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 12: Getting Used To Things //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 12: Getting Used To Things Well here it be enjoy or else Spike was just sitting there, mouth agape as the rest of the ponies had informed him on the two new appendages on his sides. While still trying to figure out the right response, Twilight Sparkle decided to talk first about this shock. “I just don’t understand...How is this even possible!” Twilight repeatedly mumbled tone as she went over to one of the many bookcases that were amongst the library, while searching for a book on the situation, she asked something, “Spike? Did you feel anything last night? Anything strange at all?” Spike just sat there on his rump, unable to move. ShadowFoot then spoke up, “Just leave him Twilight, I’m sure he’ll snap out of his eventually” “I suppose you’re right; but this is just so unknown to me even I can’t seem to find anything on it!” Twilight continued to say, “I haven’t got nothing relating to this situation; Star, we have to get to your mother about this immediately” “I don’t know Twilight...My mom has been really busy lately ,” Shooting Star began, “I could try a spell to maybe...” “No!” Spike blurted out in less that a second. Shooting Star continued, “Forget that then” ShadowFoot walked up to Spike and inspected him and his entire body for anything that seemed out of place; for the exception of the wings, he was clear and ShadowFoot led him to the second living area in the library so the rest of them could speak about this situation alone. Of course Sweetie Belle was busy in the kitchen area preparing a meal for herself, so she was occupied while the others spoke amongst themselves. As time past, the tension was growing between Spike’s extraordinary situation that didn’t involve him being a pony, however, Shooting Star may have came to a conclusion as to why Spike has suddenly developed a pair of appendages known as ‘wings’. “I think I know why he’s grown wings” Shooting Star announced. Every pony in the room had their ears perk up in response to Shooting Star’s announcement. “What?” Twilight replied in surprise with ShadowFoot repeating soon afterwards. Shooting Star then continued, “I think I know how he’s somehow come to developing wings, it may sound crazy, but it could possibly explain it well enough” “Well then?” They both asked together. Shooting Star walked up to them both, standing beside the book stand and began to explain his theory, “I think; since he was previously a dragon, maybe him and the pony lifestyle got mixed up together, causing him to sprout wings” He then pointed to the next room with his left foreleg. “Star, that could just possibly explain this! It’s plausible!” Twilight shouted as she began to bounce around the room. She then later began to look through the book again, flicking through pages with her magic, “Hmm...There’s been no reports on this kind of thing before...It’s very odd though” Shooting Star and ShadowFoot both nodded at this remark and decided to go check on Spike in the meantime. “I hope they know what they’re doing” Spike sighed as he tried to get comfy on the small chair he was on in the next room, “I just hope I can become a dragon again before Rarity sees me like this!” The small colt just sat there with his head resting on his forelegs and he thought to himself. Sweetie Belle then entered the room carrying a cup of coffee to wake her up, “Hey Spike, how’re you feeling?” She asked to the young purple colt. “I just don’t feel right Sweetie Belle; all this pony stuff seems too crazy for me!” “I’m sure Star or even the princesses should be able to fix your problem Spike, just give them time” Sweetie Belle stated to him. Spike then looked up to the mare who smiled at him to make him confident. Spike sat up on his rump for a moment, “I can trust the princesses with all my heart, but Star just seems a bit mad with me; yesterday especially” Sweetie Belle walked over to a sofa that was located next to the chair that the young colt was lying on, she took a sip of her coffee to wake her up. Spike decided to get up and hop off the chair. He attempted to walk...He tried over three times, but finally, after many trials, he finally figured it out. Sweetie Belle stared at him with awe, she was genuinely surprised to see him walk to perfection without tripping over, the purple colt walked around the room a few times to get used to the feel of his new muscles and hooves again. Spike then walked up to Sweetie Belle, “I can do it! I finally figured it out, haha! Maybe this won’t be so bad after all...” Spike began to think for a minute when Shooting Star entered the room with a smile on his muzzle. “Sweetie Belle, how’s Spike doing?” He said as he turned to look at Spike who then looked at him in return. Spike spoke before Sweetie Belle could reply to Shooting Star’s question, “Star! I finally figured these fiddly legs out!” He smiled with a triumphant chuckle. “Glad to hear that” Shooting Star started, “So...All good I guess?” “It appears so Star” She replied as she looked at Spike who then smiled as he looked back at her. Shooting Star levitated Spike into the main library room as he then told Sweetie Belle about the news, “We found out how Spike may have got his wings, you should come and discuss this with us, I’m going to contact my mom about the situation” “That’s great Star! I just really hope that Spike will be happy after all of this is sorted” It had been two hours since Shooting Star had finally figured out about Spike’s wings situation; as Shooting Star ordered for a royal carriage to take him to The Canterlot castle to see his mother, Princess Celestia. In the meantime, they explained to Spike about what they found out about the situation; Spike was mainly in shock at what they said to him, but he soon became hysterical after about five minutes.Spike started wailing The carriage for Shooting Star had arrived at the library; with Sweeting Belle, Twilight and Spike all getting onto the carriage as well; The ride there was quiet for the majority of the journey as they headed to the main castle within the Canterlot gates. Soon later, the carriage had pulled up in the castle’s royal garden where many guards were already stationed in a line pattern, saluting to the young prince as he stepped off the golden cart, along with his close friends. “At ease guards” Shooting Star commanded to them as they all put their right forelegs back into a standing position, “Good, shall we friends?” The four of them, including two escort guards entered the castle doors to head to Princess Celestia’s throne room, as they were going down many corridors amongst the castle, Shooting Star decided to check his mother’s quarters incase she was located there instead. But she was not. As they were continued to be escorted towards the main throne room, Spike had asked Shooting Star about his situation, “Wow, Star, this place has changed since the last time I was here, how has it been, anyway?” He looked at Shooting Star while walking. Shooting Star replied to his curious question, “It’s been fine Spike, we had the engineers make some changes in areas, but mostly, it has been the same” “Oh, well that makes sense, I suppose...” Spike replied as he trotted along the lengthy corridors of Canterlot’s magnificent main structure. Princess Celestia sat in her throne, reading messages that she had received so far. As she began to read into her fifth letter thus far, she saw Shooting Star enter the large throne room, with six guards present; two at the main entrance; and four located beside the main throne. “Guards, please exit the throne room” Princess Celestia stated as the six royal guards left the throne room. Shooting Star went up to his mother and nuzzled her and she repeated the same, “Hi mom!” He exclaimed to his mother. “Hello my son” She responded. She looked to her side and noticed Twilight and Sweetie Belle. However, she had also noticed a small pegacorn attempting to hide behind the Twilight . Spike had decided to give up hiding and come out from behind Twilight. “H-h-hello Princess Celestia” Spike exclaimed nervously to the now curious Princess Celestia. In return, the Princess just gave him a small smile as an appropriate response to the young colt. Shooting Star returned to look at his mother. Princess Celestia looked at the young prince, “Who is that young colt attempting to hide behind Twilight, my son?” She began to ask him. Shooting Star hesitated as the Princess asked the question, but he had soon come out of his daze and replied to his mother. “Oh, him. Mom, it is a bit complicated but allow Twilight to explain about this young colt. The sun goddess acknowledged her son’s request and looked at the older unicorn that was standing in front of her with Spike by her side. It had been about five minutes after Twilight Sparkle began to explain Spike’s peculiar situation, after she was done finishing explaining everything about his problem, the young colt had become more calmer now. The Princess was intrigued by the sheer unknownness of the new problem and decided to tell what she knew. “Hmm, curious indeed. However, this problem is unknown by me or any other ponies from the Equestrian history, even all the books that I know of do not state of this situation; I am afraid Spike will remain in that form until I can conjure something that may not work” The Princess began to explain. Twilight then stepped forward with acknowledgement, “I understand Princess, we will try our best to fix this problem as best as we can; that includes you Star, as well” Shooting Star just stood there, staring at the unicorn, he was hesitating for the moment, but soon he nodded to the acceptance of attempting to cure Spike’s strange pony transformation. The four of them left the castle after Shooting Star was finished consulting with his mother, while being escorted out of the castle by a squad of guards-pony, Spike became more and more happier as time would pass. “You know? I’m actually starting to enjoy being a pony” Exclaimed Spike as he trotted with Twilight Sparkle and the others. Twilight acknowledged his remark, “Well then...You’re going to enjoy school then, Spike” She began to chuckle. “W-wait...What!” Spike exclaimed to the now hysterical unicorn. --------------------------------------------------(Shadow Breeze) --------------------------------------------------- Shadow Breeze was outside caring for some animals and watering some flowers when a voice called for him he looked around for the source of the voice only to hear it again “ Umm Shadow can you come here? “ The voice asked Shadow looked behind himself seeing Fluttershy smiling at him but hiding behind her mane “Y-ya what is it?” Shadow asked looking at Fluttershy “D-did i do something wrong?” he asked again “Oh no no no but umm dinner is done and well i just wanted to let you know so you can come and make a plate” Fluttershy said smiling as usual “Oh okay i will be right in” Shadow Breeze said finishing watering his flowers “Ok i love you Shadow” Fluttershy said walking inside “Love you too mom” Shadow Breeze said walking behind her Wow this one took a couple of days to work on but i got it done thank celestia so i hope you like Oh and to Zoom_The_Kid your OC will be in the next chapter well more of him anyway i am going to try and find a way to use your idea //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 13: Prom Dates //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 13: Prom Dates Shooting Star, Sweetie Belle, Applebloom and Scootaloo had finally gotten back to track after one crazy week with Spike’s condition and other things they needed to get back to school and get back on the old schedule Star was once again sleeping in while Sweetie Belle had left forschool. Shadowfoot was passing Shooting Star’s bedroom, seeing the alicorn still sleeping this gave the unicorn an idea. He ran downstairs to grab a bucket of water, when he came up he saw Shooting Star awake, brushing his mane and tail trying to get the knots out. “Uhhh... Good morning Star.” Shadowfoot said with a nervous laugh in attempt to hide the bucket of water, “You should hurry and get to school or you will be late for yo--.” Shadowfoot was then drenched in ice cold water. “Good morning Shadow. nice try with the bucket of water!” Shooting Star said with a chuckle, “Maybe if you got lucky enough and were passing by about ten minutes ago, then you would have gotten me, but still, well planned out now you should go dry off before you catch a cold.” He said walking out of his room. “Oh and Star before you go, don’t forget they are giving out report cards today.” Twilight shouted as he flew out the door, leaving a still soaking wet and shocked Shadowfoot standing nearby. “Shadow honey, please go and dry off or you better meet me in the bathroom.” The mare added with a wink. ______________________________________________________________________________ Shooting Star arrived at school, seeing three certain mares and one stallion he walked over and gave a white mare a smack on the flank making her turn around flabbergasted that somepony would do that when she looked the mare saw a blue alicorn stallion grinning like an idiot at her before laughing. “Good morning Sweetie Belle.” He said bringing Sweetie Belle into a long passionate kiss, “And how is my favorite mare this morning?” Shooting Star asked hoping she was not mad about him smacking her on the flank. “I am doing well, thank you for asking.” Sweetie Belle said, kissing him back after they broke the kiss seeing Scootaloo and Shadow Breeze in there own little make out session. Shooting Star and Apple Bloom both shared an evil grin. “Wooo! you get some Shadow!” Shooting Star shouted at the top of his lungs while Apple Bloom did the same for Scootaloo, making Sweetie Belle, Shooting Star and Apple Bloom burst out laughing while Shadow Breeze was trying to hide his blushed expression as Scootaloo was glaring at them. “It was what it looked like! That’s what Star!” Scootaloo exclaimed glaring at him making the three laugh even more, “Lets just go to class.” She grumbled as the four walked in the school. Sweetie Belle and Shooting Star began walking to their gym class, smiling the whole way knowing that the prom was coming up in the upcoming weeks. _______________________________________________________________________________ As Shooting Star and Sweetie Belle walked into the gym, there was somepony missing, it was Lyra Heartstrings. Standing in her place was Colgate, the whole class was baffled that Lyra had been their teacher the whole year and she was not in class. The older unicorn mare was smiling, but the whole class knew her as Ponyville’s local dentist, not as a substitute. “Hello everypony, as you know my name is Colgate and I am the local dentist, but Ms. Heartstrings is out sick today. So since I am free today I thought I would be your substitute.” Colgate said now with a malicious smile. “Oh and Prince Star, I will see you next tuesday. Now today we are going to practice combat magic!” “Oh that is a easy stun spell Colgate, Infact Twilight taught it to me when I was about twelve,  there is an easy counterpart to it that will allow the pony you use it on can redirect it to the caster.” Shooting Star said with a grin of his own while every other ponies’ jaws were on the ground. Shooting Star, the pony who did not study or so they thought got every part of that correct. “Y-Y--Yes that is correct Prince Star. Now if you watch the demonstration you will see just how it works!” Colgate stated as she used the spell on the practice dummy seeing the magic surge through it. After the spell took it course the class chatted amongst themselves going up to their own practiced dummies using the spell for themselves. ________________________________________________________________________________ The bell had rang after a tiring two hours and the unicorn gym class was let out and it was there free period for everypony, but mainly Shooting Star and Sweetie Belle the two went out to the quad and sat down pulling out a couple of sandwiches and drinks. Shooting Star and Sweetie Belle started eating. “Wow Star, these sandwiches are great!” Sweetie Belle exclaimed between bites. “Well Sweetie Belle, I did make them myself...” Shooting Star said, seeing Sweetie Belle’s eyes widened seeing the shock on his lover’s face, “What you don’t think I know how to cook or make a sandwich for that matter?” “Oh Star, I was just joking with you.” Sweetie Belle lied, “You know how much I love teasing you!” Sweetie Belle then engaged in a kiss with Shooting Star. After a little while the couple heard someone shout. “Woohoo! the Prince is getting somepony tonight!” When they looked up they noticed it was Nocte Peregrinans. “Go away Nocte!” Shooting Star shouted. “Aww come on, let me watch...” Nocte kept pestering only to receive a “No.” from both Shooting Star and Sweetie Belle. “Fine you win I am out of here.” Nocte stated before flying off leaving an annoyed Shooting Star and Sweetie Belle behind. “Now that he’s gone there is something I wanted to ask you Sweetie Belle.” Shooting Star said looking into his true love's eyes. “Yes Stary what is it?” Sweetie Belle asked smiling at Shooting Star’s deadpanned face. “Please Sweetie Belle don’t call me that!” Shooting Star pleaded at the now smirking Sweetie Belle. “Fine I won’t call you that, Star.” Sweetie Belle giggled. “Sweetie Belle... Will you go to the prom with me?” Shooting Star asked with a tone of concern in his voice. “Yes, yes, yes! Yes!” Sweetie Belle cheered. She had to go to Rarity's house, seeing as Rarity had come back from Prance, so Shooting Star had the day off to do whatever he wanted. Meaning no homework, and no studies, now Shooting Star was planning how he was going to propose to Sweetie Belle, he had already bought the engagement ring, he just needed to figure out how he should propose. Should he move the stars to spell ‘Marry me Sweetie’? Or should he do something more subtle? He grinned, walking into the library, and went into sudden shock at seeing none other than Spike, though he was no longer a pony but now once again a dragon "Spike. How the buck did you turn back into a dragon!?" Star half shouted. Spike turned around "Well it turns out the whole reason I turned into one is because Pinkie Pie put poison joke in a cupcake she made me" Spike huffed. Star could not help but to snicker at this, the fact that he got pranked by Pinkie Pie "Spike, everypony knows when Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash are on a pranking spree do NOT accept anything they give you." "So whats up Star?" Spike asked "And why isn't Sweetie Belle with you?" "Oh Sweetie’s at her sister’s, Rarity just got back from Prance today." Shooting Star said "So Sweetie wanted to surprise Rarity by making her a nice dinner." Both Spike and Star laughed "I would hate to be Rarity.” "Yeah I know how you feel Star but still you do love her right?" Spike asked "And I mean really, REALLY love her?" Shooting Star groaned he knew where Spike was going with this and it was getting old. Spike knew the answer very well; he also knew that Star planned on asking Sweetie Belle to marry him. "Spike, what kind of question is that? You know I love Sweetie Belle with all of my heart and soul. I can see it now.” The alicorn said, falling into his fantasy, “Sweetie and I having foals of our own." Star chuckled to himself before snapping out of his little fantasy "But I am hoping we have a colt. That way I can teach him everything I know." “That’s great! Just don’t let Sweetie teach them how to cook or sew.” Spike said. _________________________________________________________________________________ Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo and Applebloom all sat around the table at one of Ponyville's many cafes, chattering on about the prom and what they were each hoping for "I really hope that the school gets a good band to play" Sweetie Belle said as she took a sip of her drink. "Yeah but I hope that the wonderbolts preform!" Scootaloo exclaimed Applebloom just smirked, looking at Sweetie Belle "Well shoot Sweetie, do ya think that Star is gonna ask tha' big question?" Applebloom asked, causing the other two to look at her "Do ya think that Star is gonna ask ya to marry em’?" at that statement Sweetie Belle zoned out, like she did not have worry or a care in the world, fantasizing about how he’d ask. Both Scootaloo and Applebloom turned to each other before looking back at Sweetie Belle. Applebloom began to wave her hooves in Sweetie Belle's face after a few seconds of waiting for her to escape her trance "Hello? Sweetie Belle come on snap out of it would ya?" Scootaloo smirked "Hey Sweetie Belle is that Star with another mare?!" Scootaloo pointed in a random direction. Sweetie Belle snapped out of her trance, instantly snapping her head to the direction that Scootaloo was pointing "WHERE?! I WILL END THAT MARE!" Sweetie Belle shouted, a blush adorning her face after seeing all of the stares from the other ponies, she let out a nervous giggle "Eheheh sorry everypony." They returned to their business after she apologized, acting as if it didn’t happen. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 15:The Prom Part 2 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 15:The Prom Part 2 Shooting Star stood there in the middle of the room while Rarity adjusted his suit. The alicorn was growing annoyed and quickly. He had been standing there for the past four hours, Rarity had already fixed everypony else’s suits and dresses for the prom but she had said it would take longer for Star even though he knew she just wanted to spend time with him. “So Rarity how was Prance?” Star asked, trying to stand as still as possible for a few reasons and one of them was because he did not want to get poked by a needle, the teenaged alicorn knew tonight was the night he would ask Sweetie Belle for her hoof in marriage and he certainly hoped she would say yes. Rarity smiled “It was absolutely wonderful! Everypony was so nice there.” Rarity said as she made a few more adjustments, “So what all do you have planned for the prom tonight?” Rarity asked, seeing Star blush a little though his dark coat made it barely visible. “W-well,” Star cleared his throat “Well Rarity can you keep this a secret?” Star asked, Rarity nodded, He took a quick look around cautiously, “I am going to ask Sweetie Belle to marry me.” Rarity’s jaw dropped so fast her jaw almost dislocated, “Wh-what you're going to ask her to marry you?” Star nodded “I am so happy for you!” the mare squealed “Have you found anypony to be your best ma-” Rarity was cut off by the alicorn in front of her. “Rarity… I don’t know if she will even say yes” Star felt a hoof hit the back of his head, “Ouch!” “Star don’t you say such things again! She loves you with all of her heart!” Rarity scolded, “You two have been in love since you were foals.” Star sighed “You're right Rarity, I just feel lucky to have won her heart.” Star smiled again, “And I am lucky to have great friends like you.” Rarity smiled and got back to work “Well when you do ask her and when she does say yes, I wil-” “Will you design the suits and dresses and bridesmaid dresses?” Star asked, Rarity screamed in excitement, using her magic to pull out a fainting couch, “I am taking that as a yes” Star chuckled “Where does she pull those things from?” he wondered before looking at one of Rarity’s full length mirrors to look at himself in the suit. ________________________________________________________________________________ The day had been going well, Star had taken his suit to the library. He grinned as he levitated a quill and paper off of a table and started scribbling something down. His grin grew as he placed a single red rose on the note before trotting out the door to a hotel. Star had the whole evening planned out and then he would ask the question that will decide his fate with Sweetie Belle forever. He started to gallop faster the grin never leaving his face. When he saw Rose Luck’s stand Star stopped in front of it. “Hi Rose Luck.” Star greeted the mare. “Hello Star how are you today?” Rose Luck asked. “I am doing well.” Star answered “Say, do you sell just rose petals?” Star asked, Rose Luck nodded “Great! I will take a lot of them please oh and one red rose.” Rose Luck giggled a bit “I am guessing you have something planned for Sweetie Belle.” Star nodded “Well that will be about ten bits.” Star levitated ten bits and placed them in front of Rose Luck, she gave him the petals and the rose. “Thanks Rose Luck!” Star shouted galloping off again; the hotel soon came into view. Star opened his wings, taking flight. When Star closed in on the hotel he tried to slow down, “Crap, crap, crap!” Star said as he slammed into a light pole, “Ow, my face.” Star stood up and walked through the front door. When he got to the desk there was a dark green earth pony mare with a pillow for a cutie mark behind it with a large smile. “Hello sir and welcome to the happy dreams inn.” The mare said, “My name is Sweet Dreams, how may I help you?” “Yes I have reserved the romantic suite under the name of Shooting Star.” Star said Sweet Dreams looked at her clipboard, searching for the name, “Ah here you are.” Sweet Dreams pulled out a key “You are in room 316 on the third floor, here is your key.” Shooting Star levitated the key. “Thank you.” Star said before walking up the stairs to the room. ________________________________________________________________________________ Twilight Sparkle arrived at the library, smiling. She went into the main room, seeing a letter with a rose on it “I wonder who this is from.” Twilight levitated the note and started reading it. “My love, I have been with you for many years so I have set up a special date just for us at the happy dreams inn. Meet me in room 316” Twilight awed, “Shadow you still know how to surprise me” Twilight said, “Well he did go through all that trouble so I can’t disappoint him” Twilight went back out the door. ________________________________________________________________________________ Shooting Star smiled as he heard the door of the hotel room open, he got himself prepped and ready. Putting the rose in his mouth, he laid on the bed, “Welcome my beauti- TWILIGHT?!” Star shouted when the lavender mare entered the room. “STAR?! WHY ARE YOU IN MY HOTEL ROOM?!” Twilight shouted back. “WHY ARE YOU HERE?!” Star asked her the same question. “Because Shadow left a note on the table for me!” Twilight exclaimed. “The note Sha-“ he shakes his head, “Twilight I left that for Sweetie Belle to find!” Star said facehoofing, “Well this is a mood killer.” “I am so sorry Star.” Twilight apologized “But I will just tell her to meet you here alright?” “Yeah, fine just DO NOT come in with her!” Star said as Twilight staggered out of the room, leaving the awkward situation behind while Star used his magic to close the door, his heart still racing and his eyes wide, “Mom dammit. Why did that have to happen to me?” Star sighed, “Well I guess I need to find something to do.” ________________________________________________________________________________ Sweetie Belle arrived at the hotel. Opening the door she saw rose petals on the floor “Oh my” Sweetie kept walking, seeing candles all over the room, rose petals on the bed with Star laying on top, a single red rose in his mouth. He had prepped again when he heard Sweetie walking up the stairs, hoping it was her this time. Star smiled “My lady.” He stood up, walked over and gave Sweetie a kiss.
