Yep. This is a thing I wrote.
Why? It’s a now late April Fools Day thing I wanted to write just to be random. I decided to make a Scooby-Doo crossover, but with the most random incarnation of the franchise nobody expected for the heck of it.
The Magic Plan (Part 1)
Within Shaggleford Manor, the residents were quite ready for their weekly festives. A young man wearing a white sweater with green stripes balanced a bunch of pizza boxes, a tower large enough to obscure his features. He ran through the large halls of the mansion he inherited. Running next to him was a brown dog walking on his hindlegs, balancing his own food in his paws, the two of them trying to make it to the living room.
"Alright, Scoob! We got ourselves a little free time. Do you know what that means?" Shaggy shouted in excitement.
"Yeah!" Scooby-Doo laughed.
"TV BINGE!"
The two jumped over the sofa and placed all their early morning snacks on the table to the sides of the bowl of remotes. Luckily for the duo, they placed the TV remote in a separate spot to easily reach it. The TV itself was quite large, with speakers of equal size. The two have enjoyed the benefits of their recent surge of money.
Shaggy grabbed the remote and turned on their television. "Like, think about it, Scoob ol' pal! We can watch all our favorite shows all on in a row!"
"Rhe best ray to spend the day!" Scooby agreed.
Shaggy pressed a button and turned on their usual channel, "First up, the Mystery Group/High School Heroes crossover! A bunch of mystery solvers meeting a our favorite group of wacky teenage adventurers!" he nudged the dog's shoulder, "Doesn't that sound cool, buddy?"
Scooby chuckled, "Rit does!"
"Now we just gotta blast the speakers and then--"
CRASH!
Shaggy and Scooby flinched upon hearing the sound of their wall being crashed through. Rolling around the living room was a round robot, waving its metal arms abour frantically, "Nephew Shaggy! Rooby Roo! I have dire news!" shouted the robot.
The boy leaned back and groaned, "Like, what is it Robi? And did you really have to crash into the wall again?"
Robi smiled, "Why yes I did. I just received an emergency message from Uncle Albert!"
Scooby and Shaggy glanced at one another. After his disappearance, Shaggy's Uncle Albert had been giving them transmissions of whatever their nemesis, Dr. Phineas Phibes, had planned. Whenever he called them, it was usually important. "Aw, and like right before the shows... Play the message, Robi."
"Reah. Play it." Scooby repeated.
And then Robi opened his mouth, revealing a projection of an older man in a lab coat, his gray hair in a ponytail. It was Uncle Albert, who began to speak, "Shaggy. Scooby-Doo. The world is in grave danger, My sources have figured out Dr. Phibes' next plan. He's currently planning to harness magic."
"Ragic?" Scooby-Doo asked. "Rit's real?"
The message continued, "With this power source, he could possibly find a way to recreate the nanotech formula he has sought after for so long even without my research. I'm sending you the coordinates of where he's tracked the source now."
Albert finished saying, "Dr. Phibes has tracked the energy to a high school. The two of you must get there and make sure no one gets hurt in the event Phibes' discovery is a success. You must hurry and retrieve it before he does. Good luck."
Robi began to print out a piece of paper with a map design, which Shaggy grabbed. The projected faded, allowing the duo to look at the coordinates without distraction. "Huh, like, whatever Dr. Phibes is looking for, it's in a place called Canterlot City."
"Ruh?" the dog wondered, tilting his head.
"Well, we know what we gotta do, Scoob. We need to head to Canterlot City before Phibes gets what he's looking for." Shaggy said, he and Scooby-Doo walking to the front door, "Robi. Keep an eye on the mansion while we're gone!"
"Wait. Re should rack some Scooby-Snacks!" Scooby suggested.
Shaggy raised a finger, "You're right. It doesn't hurt to have a little boost just in case. Luckily, I already made some spares in the event Phibes planned something." he zoomed into the kitchen and came back with a box of Scooby-Snacks in hand. Scooby also zoomed away and grabbed a bag full of food, "Like, good thinking! It doesn't hurt to have some mid-ride food to be safe too!"
Scooby laughed as they walked out the mansion door. Parked right outside was their old ride, the Mystery Machine. Shaggy got in the driver's seat while Scooby sat next to him. The two buckled up and the boy looked at the paper, "Alright, like, all we have to do is put the coordinates in and take off. Whatever Phibes is after, it can't be good no matter if it's magic or not."
"Ranterlot City, here we come!" Scooby shouted.
"Yep. Let's do it!"
Shaggy pressed a button, letting the upgrades he gave the old van do its thing. The sides and bottom of the Mystery Machine morphed into the shape of a jet. Once the GPS was set, the Mystery Machine took off to the skies, their destination: Canterlot City.
Deep within the underground was an elder man, he wore lab gear and his hair was slicked down but also sticking up. He tapped his metal hand on the table. "Everything is according to plan, Dr. Trebla." he spoke, his accent thick.
"Are you sure it was necessary building a lair down here, Dr. Phibes?" asked Trebla, adjusting his glasses.
Phineas Phibes grinned, his sharp teeth showing and chin folds revealing themselves. "Of course. The dog and hippie boy would never expect this plan." he raised his metal appendage, "Once I obtain this magic, I shall no longer require Albert's nanotech formula from those two and instead unleash a new power that I shall wield!"
"I see. And how do you plan to find this magic? It's supposedly at a high school." Trebla wondered.
Dr. Phibes smirked, "Do not worry. I have already sent Agents 1 and 2 to get hired as teachers. They shall investigate the school and tell us of where this magic spike is from so we can nab it for ourselves!"
The mad scientist looked at the clipboard, pinned to the center was a photo covered in darts. The picture showed his hated enemies, Shaggy and Scooby-Doo, the ones who foiled his plans countless times before. He slammed his real hand on it, "When I get what I'm looking for, they shall be eliminated as well! And I will finally be IMMORTAL!" he loudly declared.
Trebla clapped, "Wonderful speech as always, sir."
"Why thank you." Phibes said.
"Uh, Dr. Phibes." an agent said, wearing a uniform like the rest of the ones the scientisr hired.
"Yes, Agent 3?"
Agent 3 handed Phibes a round device, "It appears Agents 1 and 2 forgot the magic absorber."
When he heard that, Phibes' hairline went up and he scowled. "Those incompetent nincompoops!" he screamed, activating his arm cannon in rage and shot a laser. The beam reflected off the metal and hit Dr. Phibes' rear, "WAH!" he shrieked in pain, rubbing the burn marks found on his backsides.
"Uh, sir. Remember your temper."
Phibes growled and sighed, pressing a button on his forehead, causing his hairline to drop perfectly on top of his head. "Ah, yes. Thank you, Dr. Trebla." he coughed, "Just give it to those dummies. But do not reveal yourself." his glasses fell onto the bridge of his nose ans his arm cannon was activated, "Do you understand?"
"Sir yes sir!"
Agent 3 ran off, leaving Phibes and Trebla to tend to the surveillance monitors. "The only thing that could be worse is if that boy and troublesome dog find out our plan."
Trebla saw an aircraft on the radar and smiled for a faint second then went back to frowning. "Uh, not to rain on your parade, but..."
Phibes groaned and facepalmed, "They arrived there, haven't they?"
"Mm-hmm."
The scientist's arm cannon went off and shot a laser, once again reflecting and hitting his backside. "AH!" he screamed.
"So... Agents 1 and 2, was it?" Principal Celestia muttered, glancing upward from her clipboard. Sitting across from her were two men. Both wearing dark suits and black lenses over their eyes. It looked a little too suspicious. Standing behind her was Vice-Principal Luna, who was also examining the resumes.
Agent 2, who was wearing a wizard hat and beard, nodded, "Yep! That's us! I know it's not written, but I'm also a level-10 wizard called Dr. Alcheman."
Agent 1 nudged his partner and whispered, "Why does that matter?"
"Duh! Because we're looking for magic. Who better to find it than a master wizard like me?" Agent 2 responded. His partner replied by smacking him in the back of the head. "Ow! What the heck was that for?!"
"It's for being a moron..." Agent 1 murmured. He cleared his throat and folded his hands, "Er, sorry about that. Sibling rivalry." he lied since they weren't actually siblings, "Anyway, as you can see, we have credible references on our resumes."
Celestia squinted, "...One of them is for Evil Mook College."
Agent 1 waved a hand and lied, "That was a side venture in case things didn't go our way. Now that we have a chance to work legitmately, we're going to take it."
The principal then said, "Why is there a reference for Agent 2 being a wizard here?"
"Because it's super important, duh!" Agent 2 said. "I feel like everyone should know of my powerful status."
"Don't listen to him. He's surprisingly... competent outside of this." Agent 1 growled. It took everything in him to say that, despite knowing his partner long enought to know the exact opposite was true.
"Yep! So what do you say?" Agent 2 asked.
Celestia put down the papers, an unsure look on her features, "So far the creditentials look legitimate. Very well, you shall start next week so you have time to prepare. In the meantime, Vice-Principal Luna will give you a brief tour of the school so you get adjusted."
"Must I?" Luna whispered.
The Mystery Machine flew over the city, Shaggy and Scooby able to get a skyline view. "Like, whoa! This place looks way different from any city we've been to."
"Rit really does." Scooby agreed while munching on the last of the burdgers they packed, "Rhere are we going ragain?'
Shaggy looked at the GPS, "According to Uncle Albert's coordinates, we have to go to a place called Canterlot High. We're gonna have to park where no one can see us though, so buckle up for a landing!"
Setting the jet to autopilot and swiftly descended into a forest behind the school, Shaggy shouted, "Transform!"
Once he did, the Mystery Machine morphed into a quad, able to drive through the grass and dirt covered terrain should they need to make a getaway for whatever reason. The vehicle dropped onto the ground, allowing the duo to unbuckle and finally exit. Scooby yawned and stretched saying, "Rat was a long ride."
"It was, but now we have to be focused." Shaggy stated, the two looking around and getting into battle poses, standing back to back, "Like, Phibes and his agents could be anywhere in the area. We have to careful, ol' buddy. There's no telling what he has planned for us this time." the two turned around surveying the area. Nothing was found.
Scooby growled, then his stomach grumbled. "Rehehehe." he laughed. The two stopped, "Ri guess I'm rungry."
Shaggy smiled, rubbing his own stomach, "Yep. Like, I don't think we packed enough road trip snacks. This is a school too..." he pressed his hands together, "There should a cafeteria. It wouldn't hurt to check it while finding Phibes' goons."
"Reah!" Scooby agreed.
Outside the cafeteria were the billionaire duo, the latter wearing a white shirt with a red stripe and a baseball cap. The two held on to their makeshift bookbags as a quick little disguise to sneak in without gaining attention. Luckily for them the halls were empty enough. "Like there it is, Scoob. The cafeteria. Before we find Phibes' goons, I say we could use a quick mid-lunchtime snack." said the boy.
"Ruh-huh! I'm starving!" Scooby said.
Right around the corner in the hallway were Agents 1 and 2, who were speaking with Vice-Principal Luna, "And that concludes the tour of the school."
Agent 1 shook her hand, "Why thank you, Vice-Principal Luna. We'll be the best influence to the students."
Luna grinned, "I'm sure you are. Just... Uh, please change your wardrobe to be more school appropriate."
"Not until I become the Ultimate Wizard!" Agent 2 decided.
The Vice-Principal rolled her eyes and walked away, "Thank you for your time and good luck." as she distanced herself from them, she muttered, "I must speak to my sister about leaving me with them."
Agents 1 and 2 high-fived, and walked towards the cafeteria, while receiving a transmission from their leader. Agent 1 looked at the wrist communicator, "Did you succeed in entering the school?"
"We did, Dr. Phibes."
"Oh wonderful. Except for the part where you forgot the MAGIC ABSORBER !" the scientist screamed.
Agent 2 peeked in, "Do not fret, Doc Phibes! Dr. Alcheman shall take care of it himself!"
"...Slap him for me, Agent 1." said Phibes in an annoyed tone. The taller agent did as instructed, knocking the black lenses off his partners eyes once his hands collided with his neck.
"Ow!"
Phibes grunted, "Ugh. Just keep busy until Agent 5 delivers the item. And if you see that annoying boy and his dog, engage immediately."
The two peeked around the corner, seeing Shaggy and Scooby ready to enter the cafeteria, "Already on it, sir." he said, ending the transmission
"Kaboom!" Agent 2 whispered, tossing his partner his laser blaster while holding his own. "Before you ask, do not question the magical might of Dr. Alcheman!"
Agent 1 rolled his eyes and said, "For once your stupidity actually came through for something."
"Freeze!"
Shaggy and Scooby-Doo gulped, recognizing those voices. The duo turned around and raised their hands towards the supervillain agents. Shaggy said, "Like hey guys. Fancy meeting you here, huh?"
"Speak! Dr. Alcheman commands you!" Agent 2 ordered. "Why are within these borders?"
"We're, uh, here for the free food?" the boy lied.
"You heard of Dr. Phibes' plan, haven't you?" Agent 1 wondered.
"Ruh... Rhat plan?" Scooby asked with a light shrug. "Re just want free food! Yummy!"
Shaggy frantically nodded, "Yeah, like, do you want some?"
Agent 2 lowered his weapon, "That sounds pretty good actually."
"Now, Scoob!"
Shaggy and Scooby-Doo then bolted down the hallways, leaving a trail of smoke behind them. Behind them were Agents 1 and 2 chasing after them as fast as they could. The two turned around and gulped, doing their best to stay ahead of the goons.
The boy and the dog sharply turned the corner. "Like, we need to find a place to hide like now!"
"Rut where?!" Scooby wondered.
"I don't know, Scoob! They're actually keeping up with us!" Shaggy screamed, narrowly dodging a laser being shot at them. "We gotta act fast, pal!"
Scooby ducked from another laser, "Rah!" he screamed, once he raised his head, he looked to see a slightly open locker. "Rover there!" the two stopped and slammed it open when the goons were close enough to them, hitting Agent 1 in the face, causing him to halt. Agent 2 stopped and glanced over to his partner.
"Ah!" groaned Agent 1.
Agent 2 scowled, "You may have injured my partner, but you cannot harm Dr. Alcheman-- Huh?"
Shaggy and Scooby vanished from their line of sight. Confused, the agents began a search for their leader's enemies.
Seven friends and a purple dog sitting in a bookbag were all sitting in the band room with the school day over. Whenever they could, they tended to stick together. During and after school especially. Now that they had some free time, they decided to chat about some recent events circuling around.
Once they were all sitting down, Sunset Shimmer spoke first, "So did you hear about the new teachers?"
"Oh I did. I even saw them. Have you seen what they were wearing? It looked quite tasteless." Rarity answered. "Especially the one with the wizard clothes. Even Trixie did it better."
"They kinda look like undercover agents or something." Rainbow Dash added. "It'd be a pretty cool twist if they were."
Twilight raised a finger, "I severely doubt they're agents of any kind Rainbow. Maybe they're just lab teachers."
"Whoever they are, I hope they're not always grumpy like Mr. Cranky pants." Pinkie Pie said.
"I'm sure they'll be cool, Pinkie." Rainbow assured.
"Fer once I really it ain't nothin'. Last thing we need is more craziness in our lives." Applejack stated.
Fluttershy nodded in agreement, "Absolutely."
"I don't see what's so crazy. Ever since we got back from Camp Everfree things have been fine." Spike recalled. "Y'know minus the whole thing with the geodes."
"Thankfully." Sunset leaned on the wall.
"So... What are we doing after this?" Twilight asked.
"Wanna go grab a snack at Sugarcube Corner?" Pinkie suggested.
Rainbow nodded, "Heck yeah! A cold smoothie sounds pretty nice actually. Let's go!"
“Let’s hide in there!” Shaggy said. Scooby nodded in agreement. The two kicked opened the doors.
SLAM!
Shaggy and Scooby closed the doors of the first room they passed. In the blink of an eye, they grabbed some random pieces of wooden boards and looked at one another before sighing in relief, "Woo. Like that was a close one..." panted Shaggy.
They drooped onto the floor and wiped the sweat off their faces, clearly worn out from their escape. "Reah." he exhaled, "Ropefully they don't rind us yet."
"Ahem."
The billionaires raised their heads, and spotted seven girls and dog all looking at them. Each of them clearly confused over their sudden presence. Shaggy awkwardly waved, "Uh, hi... Like sorry, to uh, barge in on whatever's going on here."
Applejack put her hands on her hips, "Who in tarnation are ya?"
Fluttershy gulped, wondering if the strangers were dangerous. "A-Are you going to hurt us?"
"Re won't." Scooby promised.
The boy rubbed the back of his head, "Like, we're actually here to save you I think. It's like kind of a long story you won't believe probably. So we'll make with the getaway."
Rainbow folded her arms, "Spill the beans then. Or we'll get Principle Celestia."
"Re're here to rind ragic." Scooby-Doo answered.
"...I didn't understand half of that." Twilight said.
Shaggy waved a hand, "The two of us are here to stop a supervillain from stealing magic, which was tracked all the way here. Crazy I know, but you girls have to get out of here before his agents find us in here." he bit his nails.
Sunset walked forward and grabbed the boy's palm and Shaggy asked, "Like, what on Earth are you doing?" after asking, Sunset's eyes began to glow for a brief moment before she let go Shaggy, "Whoa, that was kinda freaky."
Unknown to them, Sunset used her magic to see everything. Their adventures, the mysteries, everything. The girl closed her eyes and exhaled, "They're telling the truth. Someone's trying to steal all the magic found here."
The girls gasped and Pinkie screamed, "WHAT?!"
"Rou know about the ragic?" Scooby asked.
"So, like, it's actually a thing?" Shaggy wondered.
The Rainbooms glanced at the geodes strapped to their necks, with Sunset answering, "More than you think."

“Whee!”
The girls sans Pinkie screamed as they were taken down the metal slide, Agents 1 and 2 pressing a lever in the bush to trigger the trap door. The two of them were still behind the students, ensuring they did nothing funny. Eventually, they reached the floor of the lair and were all piled atop one another. Pinkie and Spike sat on top. “Woohoo again!”
They all sat up and pushed Pinkie accidentally, immediately taking notice of the scientist with the weird haircut, “Hm. This is quite a surprise. Agents 1 and 2, who have you brought before me?”
Agent 1 pointed at the group and smirked, “They’re interlopers trying to save the dog and hippy boy you hate so much, Dr. Phibes. Plus, they might have an idea on what you’re looking for.”
“But Dr Alcheman used his wits and might to turn the tables in our favor!” Agent 2 chimed in, earning a slap from Phibes.
“Very well.” Phibes said, turning his attention to the girls, “Greetings strangers and friends of my enemies. I apologize for this turn of events.”
“Um, what?” Fluttershy whimpered.
Rainbow growled, “What do you want with our school?!”
Phibes raised his metal hand, “It’s quite simple. For a while now, I have tracked an unknown energy source to this location. Unfortunately, I cannot get an exact reading. But apparently you lot know a thing or two about what I am seeking. If you spill the beans about it, I may let you go free and I can finally be all-powerful!”
“But why here? Why now?” Twilight wondered.
Phibes hummed, “Because that annoying dog and hippy boy have gotten in my way too many times. I am done playing games, and I will finally obtain the key to immortality. So I’ll ask nicely, where is this source of magic?”
“We don’t know about what yer talkin’ about! And if we did, we’ll ever tell ya!” Applejack snapped.
Fluttershy sniffled, scared for her life. They’ve dealt with magical villains, but the stress of encountering a genuine megalomania seeking world domination was too much for her. Pinkie embraced her for comfort and glared daggers at Dr. Phibes. “Stop right now! We won’t say a word to you!” Pinkie said.
Phibes rubbed his chin and replied, “You drive a hard bargain. Very well, throw them in the cell with my enemies. They will rot there until either groups give me what I seek.”
Agents 1 and 2 pointed their lasers at the girls and dog and escorted them to the cell. Shaggy and Scooby tried to make a getaway with the door open, but the eight newcomers were shoved in and accidentally tackled the heroes. Once they got their bearings and the agents left, Shaggy asked, “Girls? Like, what the heck are you doing here?!”
“We noticed you disappeared.” Sunset began to say, “Spike found one of your Scooby-Snacks and gained super strength. So we decided to ask the agents to take us here, but his powers wore out when he burped. So now we’re here.”
Scooby looked at Spike, “Rou used a Rooby-Rnack?”
“Yeah! It was so cool!” Spike replied. Scooby high-fived the purple dog in response.
Shaggy said, “We didn’t want any of you getting involved. Now your lives are at risk and Phibes can get to absorb whatever magic is at this school!”
Twilight adjusted his glasses, “Don’t worry, Shaggy. We actually came up with a backup plan just in case this happened.”
Wiping stray tears of worry off her face, Fluttershy said, “And, um...” she reached for her pocket and revealed two Scooby-Snacks, “I took these out of the bag when I hid it.”
“Like, nice thinking, Fluttershy. Invisibility and Heat Vision, perfect.” Shaggy complimented.
Scooby and Spike held the snacks in their paws, the former talking, “But rhat is the rlan?”
Applejack smirked and held up the geode around her neck. Shaggy and Scooby realized what the girls meant when they said they had a plan at that moment. The farmgirl then gripped the metal bars, shoving them so that it created a hole wide enough for them to exit. Stepping out of it into the empty room, Sunset said, “Okay, Shaggy. This is your thing. Do you have any ideas on how to stop Phibes?”
“I doubt Phibes built a new lair under your school without bringing awareness. This must be a drill-car lair. Like, all we have to do is find the controls and escape. The agents can do it, so there’s no reason why we can’t.” Shaggy deduced.
Twilight added, “You mean we’re inside a Subterrene?”
Shaggy nodded, “Like, I guess so. The only problem is that Phibes and his agents would no doubt be targeting us.”
Rarity chimed in, “Allow me, Shaggy.” she flicked her wrist and a diamond shaped shield emerged from her, “While you and Twilight lure this vehicle away, I’ll do my best to keep you safe.”
“Thanks, Rarity.” Shaggy replied.
Rainbow Dash gave a salute, “I can look for an exit and get us there in ten seconds flat once you’re done.”
Fluttershy looked at the ground and admitted, “Um, my powers are useless since there are no animals besides Scooby and Spike here.”
“Rhen rou can ray with Rhaggy, Rapplejack, Runset, Rarity, and Rwilight.” Scooby said, “Rike and I rill reat now!”
“Finally! One Scooby-Snack isn’t stomach-filling!” Spike cheered.
Scooby laughed, agreeing with that statement. They munched on the enhanced snacks and began to transform, once it faded Scooby wasn’t visible to the human eye and Spike shot lasers out of his eyes, “Whoa! I wish I can do this all time!”
“Ret’s go!” Scooby decided.
Shaggy raised a finger, “Alright gang, like let’s split up... Wow, I always wanted to say that.” he chuckled. The group all went to where they needed.
Agents 5 and 6 were patrolling the lair as though nothing was wrong. Suddenly Agent 6 was given a wedgie and thrown aside by an unknown force. While they were distracted at the funny sight, Agent 5 felt a burning sensation on his back and noticed that his uniform was on fire. In a panic, he stopped dropped and rolled. Scooby stepped on his face and left a giant pawprint on Agent 5’s cheek.
Hearing the commotion, Agents 1 and 2 stormed in. “Whatever the problem is, Dr. Alcheman will use his might to make the threat perish!”
“Oh will you shut up already?” Agent 1 groaned.
Agent 1 was pulled aside and had his laser gun taken from him. Scooby aimed it at Agent 2 and blasted the ceiling. Agent 2 took a step back. He sniffed himself a moment later, realizing that there was smoke coming from his posterior. He screamed and ran around like a maniac, unaware of Spike’s presence. The two dogs let out a mischievous chuckle and managed to high-five each other again despite Scooby’s invisiblity.
Spike and Scooby shot lasers into the main room, where their lasers bounced off Phibes’ metal arm, scaring him. “AH!” he let out a shrill scream. The lasers continued to bounce until finally, they grazed Dr. Phibes’s haircut, leaving him more bald and giving him a scorching head. Trebla chuckled at the grief at his boss’ expense.
“Help me, Dr. Trebla!”
Trebla cleared his throat, “Of course, sir.”
Both dogs burped, their powers shutting down. Spike asked, “Does this happen a lot?”
“Rep!” Scooby answered.
Shaggy, Twilight, Sunset, Fluttershy, Rarity and Applejack arrived in the control room. They were immediately greeted by more agents. Rarity created a shield and blocked all the lasers. She pushed through the projectiles, once she found an opening, Applejack picked up one of them and threw them, making them all fall like bowling pins. “Thank you, girls.” said Fluttershy as she remained close behind Rarity.
Finding the computers, Shaggy and Twilight looked at the controls, finding tons of buttons and levers. “Okay, so uh, I’ve driven a transforming Mystery Machine, but like I don’t think I’ve done this yet.”
“Pull the lever, Shaggy.” Twilight stated in a deadpan tone.
Shaggy scratched his head, “But which one?”
Sunset pointed and said, “The one that says ‘activate vehicle lair’.”
Rarity and Applejack turned back as they held off the agents saying, “Just hurry up already!”
“Like, okay!” Shaggy pulled on a lever while Twilght pressed a button. Suddenly, an alarm blared and Shaggy gulped, “Zoinks! Did we do something wrong?”
“Subterrene Lair Active in T-Minus 30 seconds.”
Once she heard that voice, Applejack took the time to destroy the controls, ensuring that Phibes had no way of bringing this lair back. “There we go.” she said while dusting her hands off.
“Oh, alright then. Uh, is Rainbow Dash coming?”
His question answered, everyone suddenly found themselves in a pod large enough to fit all of them, fit for a tunnel that will launch them back to the surface. “Let’s get on out of here!” Rainbow Dash said, vanishing for a second to pick up Scooby and Spike before departing. Then she took the time to shove Phibes aside.
Phibes growled as he spotted Shaggy and Scooby in his pod. His hated enemies blew raspberries at him while the girls and Spike made faces. The door to the pod closed and the heroes were launched back to the surface.
“Transport in 5... 4... 3... 2... 1...”
Phibes stomped the floor in rage and screamed to the heavens, “Curse you dog and hippy boy! And your annoying friends too! I’ll be back for revenge!” he lashed out, the subterrne finally moving away from the school to parts unknown.
On the surface, the gang finally emerged from the crashed pod. Fluttershy gripped the ground and said, “Thank goodness we’re alright. I never want to do that again.”
“Oh man...” Shaggy yawned, “That was quite a doozy. Like I don’t think the two of us were ever put on the ropes like that before, huh buddy?”
“Nope!” Scooby agreed.
Sunset put her hands on her hips, “So... now what?”
“How about we celebrate our victory over evil with a huge buffet?” Pinkie suggested.
“Scoob and I brought tons of food.” Shaggy revealed. “Trust us, as weird as it sounds coming from us, a buffet is a last resort deal now.”
“Why not?” Rarity wondered.
“Besides the fact that we eat all the food there? We kinda bought a few so we can get unlimited servings with no problems...” Shaggy admitted with a light laugh.
Rainbow laughed, “Really?”
Scooby responded, “Reah! Re should rhow you rometime!”
“As funny as that sounds, I think taking a rest sounds like a good idea.” Sunset said.
Shaggy nodded in agreement as he said, “Like, yeah. Scoob and I have to head back soon anyway. But we’ll stick around for a quick chat though.”

The Magic Plan (Epilogue)
Twilight, Sunset, Rainbow, Applejack, Fluttershy, Rarity, Pinkie, Shaggy, and Scooby all hung out at the statue outside of Canterlot High. With the mission done, Shaggy and Scooby grabbed all their spare food and held out their sandwich tower over their mouths. Twilight tilted her head and asked, “Can you two handle that? I don’t think it’s physically possible to eat a sandwhich that big.”
“This is an average desert for me, Twilight. I know they can do it!” Pinkie chimed in.
As if to prove Twilight wrong, Shaggy and Scooby devoured their sandwiches in one gulp as if it was normal. Twilight scratched her head as the billionaires leaned back on the sides of the statue base. “Like, that was delicious. Well worth the wait, right old buddy?”
“Ruh-huh!” Scooby said with a slow nod.
Rainbow Dash took a bite of her sandwich and asked, “So you two have been fighting Phibes for a while, huh?”
“Like you have no idea.” Shaggy said, “He’s been after my uncle’s secret nanotech formula. He disappeared and entrusted Scoob and I with it until we find him and stop Phibes for good.”
“I’m sorry to hear about your uncle.” Twilight said.
Shaggy corrected her, “Actually, he’s still alive. He’s, like, been the one telling us about Phibes’ plans, including this one. Good thing too. We wouldn’t have been aware otherwise.”
Rainbow perked up, “So your uncle is an undercover agent? That’s awesome!”
“Rat least he’s fine.” Scooby said.
Rarity smiled, “And for what it’s worth, we believe you can find him.”
“Yep. Ah have faith you’ll stop Phibes one day too.” Applejack said.
Twilight tapped her chin, “So this nanotech formula, is that what was in the Scooby-Snack?”
“Yeah.”
“Amazing.” the girl gasped. “Your uncle is a genius.”
Spike agreed, “A dog treat that gives us cool superpowers? What’s not to like?”
Fluttershy spoke up, “So, um, what happens once this is all over?”
Shaggy shrugged, “Reunite with the gang and go back to solving mysteries? Never really thought about it. Like, this kinda became the new routine for Scoob and me after a while.”
“What’s it like being billionaires?” Rarity wondered.
“Totally cool. We get to spend with no end, and throw awesome house parties like you wouldn’t believe!” Shaggy boasted as he put on sunglasses.
Scooby put on sunglasses as well, “Re rhould rhow it off one ray.”
“A mansion party with you guys hosting? Okay, I’m totally up for that!” Rainbow admitted.
“Ooh! I wonder how you two do it!” Pinkie exclaimed in a curious tone.
“We have our ways. But what about your adventures? All this magic mumbo jumbo is new to us.” Shaggy wondered.
Sunset held her geode, “It’s magic from another world. All of us are making sure it doesn’t become a public issue for the safety of the school.”
Rainbow waved a hand, “Yeah, we’re kinda like superheroes.”
“Speakin’ of the school, thanks fer showin’ up and helping out.” Applejack thanked, “We’ve faced monsters before, but never a supervillain with an army.”
“And we couldn’t have done it without you all. Seriously.” Shaggy reminded them.
Sunset took a sip of her soda and looked to the boy and dog, “Now what?”
“Like I said, Scoob and I are heading home. But if you girls need any help, just give us a call, and we’ll be there to lend a hand as soon as possible.” Shaggy insisted.
“Reah! Re won’t rind!” Scooby added.
“Are you sure? We wouldn’t want to bother you.” Fluttershy replied.
“Like, as long as we’re not on a Phibes mission we’ll help. And maybe we can just hang out when the world isn’t at stake.” the boy suggested.
“Now that sounds like a good idea.” Spike said.
“So what do you say, Scoob? You wanna invite them to our next house party as a thanks?” Shaggy asked his friend.
“I say, Scooby-Dooby-Doo !” Scooby replied proudly. The girls smiled at the dog’s enthusiasm and hoped to meet with their new friends sometime soon, and not for bad guy stopping.

And so ends this brief random story, and it took me longer than expected. Anyway, I might do another story with Shaggy and Scooby down the line, but not for a while.
The next Equestria Girls crossover I have in mind will have Sunset join a team of superhero teens who live in a giant T-shaped building, and help the team’s leader make amends with his former mentor.
Shaggy & Scooby-Doo: Equestria Girls
Shaggy and Scooby fell down the metal slide, their jaws hanging open as they screamed. Their rears bumped the surface of the cylinder slide and as a result, they bounced back down the hole. Eventually, the duo landed stomach-first on a red carpet.
"Oof!"
The two tried to (and failed to) sit up, but were immediately pushed up by another force. With a sigh of relief, the boy said, "Like, thanks."
"You're quite welcome." responded someone sarcastically. The boy and the dog immediately recognized that accent. Their eyes widened and they both shouted.
"Phibes!"
Said scientist giggled as he said, "That's right! I did not think any of my agents could trap you, but here we are. Welcome to my lair."
"What do you have planned this time, Phibes?" Shaggy hissed at his arch-nemesis.
Phibes raised his metal arm, "Didn't you know? I wish to obtain the magic hidden within this weak school and use it for myself. With it, I shall conquer the world and be immortal!"
Scooby struggled in the rope, "Reah Right! Rou won't ret away with rhis!"
“Oh? Excuse me, but I do believe you are trapped in my lair with no way to escape. It’s quite obvious that I am winning this time.” Phibes declared to his most hated enemies. Two agents walked behind the heroes as the scientist said, “Take these two to the cell I have built for them. Perhaps if they give me Shaggleford’s formula, they can leave early...”
“Re’ll never rive it to you!” Scooby snapped.
Phibes pursed his lips, “Oh well. Enjoy spending the rest of your days in a cell!”
Shaggy and Scooby-Doo were then shoved into a cell, sliding on the dirty floor. They gagged as they sat up, realizing the net was gone. They tried to make a break for it, but the cell closed right as they got close, a loud bang heard as the both of them hit their heads on the bars.
“Yow! Like that hurt!” Shaggy grumbled.
“Reah rit did...” Scooby muttered.
Shaking their heads, the boy looked to his dog and whispered, “Like don’t worry, Scooby ol’ pal. I’m sure I put a Scooby-Snack right here in my pocket.” Shaggy then reached a hand into his left pocket. Nothing. Curious, he went into the right pocket. Scooby started to grow concerned. “Huh?! Like, where is it?!” he said loudly.
“Rou don’t have rit?!” Scooby-Doo gasped.
Shaggy sniffled, “I’m sorry, Scoob. It must be still up there. We’re... we’re never going to stop Phibes and save the day now!”
Scooby hugged his pal, crying in fear as well, “Ri’m rorry too! We ran’t get routta here!”
Loud sobs came from the both of them. They were scared. Trapped in a cell with no way to escape, which allowed Phibes and his agents to investigate the surge of magic at the school. For once, it looked like they were going to lose. Upon realizing this, Shaggy and Scooby froze and said, “The girls!” at the same time.
They remembered that the girls they met knew about the magic Phibes was looking for. If that was the case, then Shaggy and Scooby knew they were in grave danger. The boy wiped his nose with his sleeve while Scooby used his shirt as a tissue, leaving some snot there. “We can’t sit here and cry, Scoob. Like, the girls are in serious danger and if we don’t do something now, who knows what Phibes will do in order get what he wants?”
“And rimagine if re does find the magic?” Scooby shuddered after asking, not even wanting to know.
Shaggy rubbed his head, “Yeah. I, like, don’t even want to think about it. The world would be in even more danger at that point!”
“Huh. I thought they’d be over here.” Twilight said.
The girls all met up outside and grouped around a bush, which contained only a bag and a dog treat. Spike lolled his tongue at the sight of the treat. “No way, a Scooby-Snack?!”
Sunset asked, “There’s dog food named after him?”
Fluttershy nodded, “Yes. I hear they’re actually really delicious treats for pets.”
Spike picked it up and bit into it, but a loud clang was heard once he did. The dog rubbed his sore jaw, “Huh? It’s made of metal?” he wondered.
“Metal? Why would they have a dog treat made of metal? That doesn’t seem ethical at all.” Twilight replied, tapping the snack with her fingers and feeling the metal interior.
Applejack muttered, “Well, they had to have it fer some reason though. Ah doubt Shaggy hates his dog enough to feed him somethin’ dangerous.”
“Unless he made it like that for a super secret plan to stop bad guys.” Pinkie said.
Licking his lips, Spike said, “Oh well. I’m eating it!”
“Spike!” Twilight gasped.
Said dog leaped and munched onto the treat. Once he landed, his eyes widened and felt his stomach rumble. Suddenly, he began to glow as various patterns covered his body. The girls all gasped at the sight of the dog changing like he was currently and blinded themselves from the light. It vanished, the girls opened their eyes... and found Spike completely as he was a moment ago.
Twilight held her dog, “Spike! Are you okay?!” Spike licked her face reassuringly.
Putting him on the ground, the dog tapped his body, feeling everything intact. “Yep. I’m fine.”
“Good to hear. Maybe we should start looking for where Shaggy and Scooby went.” Sunset suggested.
“Oh yes. I do hope they’re safe.” Rarity added.
Spike rubbed his chin and lifted the remaining bag with one hand, “Nope nothing here.” he trotted over to Fluttershy and picked her up by her shoes with ease.
“Uh, Spike?” Twilight called to her dog.
“Yeah, Twi?”
“...You have super strength.” she squeaked.
Fluttershy blinked, “...You can put me down, Spike.”
Looking up, Spike noticed that he was picking up Fluttershy with a single arm. He let go and smiled as he flexed his small muscles, “Awesome!”
“So, what? You have Applejack’s power now?” Rainbow asked.
Spike laughed and lifted the bag, “I don’t care, this is awesome!”
Sunset scratched her head, “How is this even possible?”
“The Scooby-Snack he ate.” Twilight deduced, “Whatever Shaggy and Scooby did with it, it must be able to enhance Spike’s abilities somehow. That’s... that’s amazing! I didn’t think those two were capable of such advancements in science!” she admitted in slight glee. “I should ask them about it later.”
Applejack chimed in, “Ya’ll can ask them once we find them. The problem is that findin’ clues is like looking for a needle in a haystack.”
“What about the agents?” Sunset suggested, “We can get some answers out of them.”
“How?”
While they were discussing a plan, Fluttershy dug into the bag and found a few more Scooby-Snacks, “Um, where should we put these? I think the bad guys are looking for these too.”
“Put it in the band room. It’ll be safer there than out here.” Sunset said.
“Oh. Okay.” Fluttershy replied.
Rainbow rubbed her hands together, “You know, I got an idea.” she glanced over to Spike, who tilted his head.
“You can’t be serious, Rainbow. He’s a dog.” Twilight rejected the idea.
“Twi, he can lift a human with one hand! That’s an insanely cool power! And if something goes wrong, we have a backup plan remember? One they’ll never know about if we sic Spike on them!” the rainbow-haired girl reminded Twilight.
“Backup plan?” Twilight repeated in confusion.
Rarity said, “Oh, I believe I know what Rainbow Dash is talking about. As much as it hurts me to put Spike in danger, he is capable of fending for himself now.”
Spike chuckled, “Darn right I am! Can I do it, Twi? Please?” he pulled the puppy eyes trick on her. After a moment of staring, the girl finally relented.
“Fine.” Twilight decided.
Agents 1 and 2 were wandering down the hallways of Canterlot High with the magic tracker Agent 3 gave them. They were also told Shaggy and Scooby were imprisoned, meaning that they were free to find what Phibes wanted without any intervention. Suddenly, they were pushed by an unknown force and dropped the tracker, it snapping in two once the being in question stepped forward without hesitation.
“Who dares push the Alchemeister?” Agent 2 called out.
“Me!” shouted the voice of Spike. The agents had to look down at the small purple dog, who growled at them.
Agent 1 raised a brow, “Another talking dog?”
Agent 2 sighed, “He will be no match for me- AGH!” he screamed as Spike tackled him and pinned him to the floor, pulling him by the collar and slamming the back of his head on a locker repeatedly. “Ow, ow, ow, ow ow, ow!” he said in pain over and over again with each whack.
As Agent 1 watched the ordeal, he was pulled aside by Sunset, who pinned him to a locker. “Alright, we know you’re not new teachers.”
“Your disguises didn’t fool us!” Pinkie said.
“They weren’t wearing disguises, Pinkie.” Applejack said.
“Oh right.”
Sunset hissed, “So tell us where Shaggy and Scooby are at. Or Spike over there will use his powers on you as well.”
“Jeez. Violent much, Sunset?” Rainbow quipped.
Spike flexed his muscles, “I’m down for stopping bad guys-“ he burped, going through the same transformation from when he ate the Scooby-Snack. He tried to lift Agent 2 again, but struggled to tug his collar. Agent 2 smirked and held the poor dog up, pointing his laser at him.
“Your dog friend might feel my wizard wrath if you do not comply!” Agent 2 said. Spike struggled in the agent’s grasp.
“Spike!” Twilight shouted.
Agent 1 pulled out his own laser gun and pointed it at the girls, “Oh, we’ll take you all to your new friends. And while we’re there you’ll also spill any secrets you know about this school. Seems like a fair trade.”
The girls all raised their hands as a way to surrender. For once, they had to. Spike, Shaggy, and Scooby were in danger, and the secret of the magic they wield would be exposed. As much as they didn’t want to, they allowed themselves to be guided by the agents to wherever their hideout was.
