When Applejack arrived at the castle, Fluttershy was standing with her bags in her shoulder.

"Fluttershy!" Screamed Applejack, running out of breath.

The yellow Pegasus turned around. "Applejack?"

"We don't have much time! Tara's been kidnapped! "

"What?!"

"I saw her! One of the changelings wrapped her in a sack and took off with her!"

"Oh, no! What are we going to do?!"

"We don't know yet, but I'm sure Twilight does!"

"AJ! AJ!" Yelled spike as he ran behind her.

"Spike? What's going on?" Asked Applejack.

"Discord's gone Bananas!" said spike.

Fluttershy froze. "Discord? bananas?!..."

"it's true! I saw him with Screwball, Cherry Blossom and Zany making chaos out there!"

Fluttershy did not look convinced.

"It's madness I Tell you! Madness!" said spike, grabbing and shaking Fluttershy.

"No! I don't believe you! "said Fluttershy.

"don't believe me? Look outside!" said spike, pointing to the door.

Fluttershy walked towards the door and peeked outside. There, she saw pink clouds with chocolate rain pouring down, a soapy road leading to her house, and a pine bush right next to her House.

"No! It can't be true! Discord…"

"Twilight said to meet up at the castle at once. She said she has a plan to stop all this." Spike explained. "she also has a plan to rescue Tara. "

"Fluttershy! Fluttershy! "said Rarity, covered in chocolate milk.

"Rarity! What happened?' asked spike.

"Well I was walking in the park with Gemstone, when all of a sudden, chocolate rain started pouring all over us! We didn't know what was going on but, we knew who was doing it. So, we looked up, and there they were, laughing their heads off!"

"What?! but, Discord would never do that!" said Fluttershy, a little stammered.

"oh, he wouldn't, would he? Well, how do you explain the looks on their faces right now?!"

"calm down, Rarity. I'll find him and set things straight. Maybe something must've upset him."

"I hope so." Said rarity.

"What's the point about farming rocks, anyway?" Screwball asked her father.

The four beings of chaos were positioned comfortably on a cotton candy cloud, overlooking Pinkie pie's family rock farm. Faith carton was chipping at a boulder beneath them.

"life has some strange mysteries," replied Discord.

"Why don't we give her something useful to mine?" he grinned. "any ideas, sweetie?"

Screwball rubbed her chin and thought. "like… bricks!"

While Cherry blossom watched the scene, Screwball summoned some bricks and a microphone.

As she did, she yelled through the microphone: "INCOMING!".

Faith carton dropped her axe. "huh?"

As she saw the bricks plummeting down towards her, Faith screamed and managed to leap out of the way. Screwball summoned a banana peel on which Faith slipped on it and fell face down into a banana cream pie.

"Can I make it rain now dad?" Screwball begged, bouncing up and down. "Can I please?"

"Already?"

"Yeah! But I got something better than chocolate milk! "

"I don't see why, but go ahead."

With a cackle, Screwball summoned a flock of pink clouds. A strange blue substance dripped from them onto Faith carton. After a few seconds, her fur started turning into the color of the rain. She screamed and raced into the pie family's house.

Discord snorted. "what was that stuff?

"Blue hair dye!" Screwball bawled.

"Oh genius, dear! simply genius!"

The filly laughed and picked up her brother "did you see that zany? Wasn't that the most hilarious thing ever? That outta teach her to mess with ponies like us!"

As Screwball embraced the smiling infant, Cherry blossom poked her shoulder.

"Screwy, I think we should stop." Cherry blossom said in concern.

"Stop?" Screwball said. "why would we stop when we're having so much fun!"

"it's just, maybe you're going a little too distant on this…"

"Don't worry, Cherry blossom," said Screwball reassuringly. ''As soon as we finish, we'll go straight home.'' She paused and looked up at her father. ''Right, Daddy?''

Discord grew silent.

''Right?"

''ok, ok,'' said discord, '' but wasn't there another mare that teased you two?''

''Filly Silly!'' Screwball and Cherry Blossom looked at each other and gritted their teeth. ''how could we forget the little minion?! Wonder what she's doing now.''

''let's find out.''

Discord snapped his Fingers and teleported the Four of them to a large mansion. Two Colts, one Gold with gold and black hair, and a grey with white hair, lay sprawled in lawn chairs, basking in the sunlight.

''hey, I know him!'' declared Cherry blossom, pointing to the Golden Pony. ''That's Our Friend! Gold Digger!''

As if on cue, The Teenage Mare appeared in the doorway of the mansion, wearing a waitress uniform and carrying a jar of lemonade.

''Hurry It up, Red!'' Ordered Silver Tray. ''Do you want those 20 bucks or not?''

Filly Silly groaned. ''Coming, Silver!''

''gee,'' said Screwball ''I almost feel sorry for the woman. Almost.''

''Watch and learn Darlings,'' Discord coaxed. ''Watch and learn.''

He snapped his fingers and a coin appeared in Filly Silly's hooves. The mare's face lit up.

''Where'd this come from? What luck!''

''Yeah, but is it good or bad?'' The Draqonaquus whispered.

His paw glowed as he pointed it at the mare. Gold light enveloped the tray, tipping it over and spilling The lemonade over the two colts.

Silver tray squealed like a girl. 'Gross! This with take hours to wash off!''

''Filly!'' Said Gold digger.

''I'm sorry, I – I don't know what happened!'' his girlfriend protested.

''Its ok,'' Gold digger kissed her forehead. ''Just, go get some towels ok?''

Filly Silly smiled. ''ok…''

''Aww ~ he still likes her!'' said Screwball.

''You're right,'' Discord replied, rubbing his chin.'' We should help them get those stains out."

He snapped his fingers, summoning a bucket of water. Snickering, he dumped it over the colts. They screamed in shock.

''need a cool down, gentlemen?" Discord mocked.

'' . goodness'' Silver Tray exclaimed, looking up from the dripping water. ''Mister Discord!''

''Correct- a- Mundo!''

''Look, I-I don't want any trouble! I didn't do anything to your daughter and niece! I swear! It was all faith and filly!''

''Don't worry! That's why I'm here!''

As Filly Silly returned, He used his magic to turn the mare upside-down and repeatedly banged her head into the ground. Appalled, Cherry blossom teleported to her uncle's side.

''Uncle! Stop! You're hurting her!''

''Relax! I'm only knocking some sense into her''

''but…but...''

''didn't you used to do that to your foalsitters?''

''That Wasn't me! That was Screwy!''

''Hey! Let me go!'' Pleaded Filly Silly. ''Let me – ow!''

''Uncle, please!''

Discord groaned. ''ok, fine! I'll put the little piggy down.''

He did so, but also tied her to a large platter and stuck an apple in her mouth.

''I'd say she's learned her lesson''

Cherry blossom shook her head. ''uncle, let's just go home. It's been fun and all, but we should call it a day before we get into more trouble and – ''

''Relax Cherry!'' reassured screwball. ''it was only a few pranks. besides, this was only just the beginning.''

"She's right you know.'' Said Discord.

''but mommy and auntie will be worried!''

''who cares how they feel?!'' Scowled Screwball and Discord.

The filly gasped. ''Screwy! How could you say such a thing?! What's gotten into you two?! What's wrong with you?! What's Wrong with you?!''

They paused. Screwball put her hoof to her mouth, realizing what she just did. ''I'm sorry cherry, I don't know what came over me!''

''Hey! Aren't the Oreo gapplings playing the manehatten Giants this afternoon?'' said Discord, Changing the subject.

''yes,'' said Cherry and Screwball.

''And didn't the Oreo Gapplings beat the Zephyrs last week?''

''yeah, but uncle…''

She trailed off as he put his tail around her and tightened his grip. ''how'd you two like to crash it?''

''Yeah!'' Screwball replied.

''no!'' Replied Cherry blossom.

''well, how about raining on that parade in Manehatten?'' Discord suggested.

''Yeah! Screwball Replied.

''No!'' Cherry blossom said, a little louder.

''I'll let you eat chocolate cake!''

Cherry blossom's face lit up and licked her lips. ''the whole of it?''

''The whole of it!'' Said Discord.

''Done! But after that, we are going home!'' said Cherry blossom.

''But of course, honey!''

He let her go, but Cherry blossom looked at him in suspicion.

''Cross your heart, hope to fly? Stick a cupcake in your eye?''

He rolled his eyes and made the promise oath. '' Cross my heart, hope to fly. Stick a cupcake in my eye''

Cherry blossom smiled in satisfaction, not noticing that his fingers were crossed behind his back.

Twilight ceased her pacing when her five best friends came bolting through the door.

''What's going on out there, Fluttershy?'' She Demanded. ''I thought you would have Discord under control by now!''

Twilight Stopped as Fluttershy shivered a bit.

''We don't know what's going on,'' the cowgirl explained.

''Now Discord's all crazy and making it rain chocolate milk like crazy!'' Pinkie shrieked.

Twilight's eyes widened in fear. ''Where's Screwball and Cherry?''

Fluttershy sank down and hung her head.

''Discord took them and zany with him,'' Rarity replied sincerely. ''now all four of them are on the loose!''

The alicorn hung her head. ''I was afraid this might happen''

''but that's not all!'' Applejack declared ''How are we going to save Tara?''

''I don't know yet.''

'' Discord wasn't himself lately,'' Applejack said slowly. ''This morning, he tried to bury me in a sand pit!''

''and he tried tying me to a huge cupcake!'' pinkie chimed.

''wait!'' Twilight exclaimed. ''did you say he wasn't himself lately?''

The cowgirl nodded. ''so, Discord's probably out there being a menace!''

''Hold up!'' Pinkie pie exclaimed. ''if discord wasn't in control, that means… someone is controlling him!''

Every pony glared at pinkie.

'' that actually makes sense.'' Said Rainbow.

Twilight sighed and looked at the chaos storm through the window. ''I'm afraid… we'll have to use the elements of harmony''

Every pony gasped.

''What?!'' Fluttershy screamed.'' Twilight, no! we can't! we can't turn them to stone! They're my family! And poor little zany and Zanabelle are just babies! And Screwball… and my niece… Screwball promised her she'd never let her suffer such a fate!''

''Fluttershy,'' Twilight said slowly, ''I don't want to use the elements on them either. Hopefully, we won't have to, if we can try to help discord. However, if things get out of hoof and he gets worse…''

''NO!''

'' It'll only be temporary. I know a spell that could release him from stone. Until he's learned to control himself. It'll be like a time-out."

''What about the kids?''

''we won't use the elements against them. Zany and Zanabelle are too young for such a harsh punishment. And screwball is smart. She will stop at nothing to protect Cherry blossom. She'll come around once we explain things to her.''

''I hope so.'' Said Rainbow. ''those fur balls are like family!''

''and ya don't leave family behind'' Applejack agreed.

''besides, the twins won't see me the same way again if I freeze their best friends.''

''Same with Cinnamon stick and apple blossom.''

''I know Gemstone will think me a monster!'' Rarity exclaimed.

''And the tri-pies will think I'm a mean cupcake-eating horse for the rest of my life!'' pinkie squealed.

Twilight turned back to Fluttershy. ''we'll only used the elements on them as the last resort, but we won't use them without your permission.''

Fluttershy shrugged. She and discord had been together for such a long time now. And she loves him with all her heart. She knew she wouldn't forgive herself if anything happened to him, her children, her niece… and her best friend.

''Just…don't hurt him.''

''look over there, honey!'' discord exclaimed, pointing to one of the screaming ponies. ''you missed one!''

Screwball nodded and aimed her paintball cannon at the pony. ''Cannonball!''

The colt cried out as he was splattered with pink paint.

Cherry blossom watched the scene, stuffing her face with pink cotton candy. But then she heard someone calling her ''Cherry! Cherry!''

Knowing who was calling her, Cherry blossom flew down into a hallway. Cherry noticed ponies running at the sight of her. She noticed one of them with a toothpaste cutie mark. It was aquafresh.

''What did I ever do to her?''

The Red Alicorn was confused. ''come on, Aquafresh, they were just jokes!''

She glared at her. ''looked around you, cherry. How many ponies do you see laughing?''

Cherry blossom stood frozen in place as the unicorn ran past her. She shook Aqua's words off and searched for who called her.

''hello? Did somebody call me? I'm right here!'' She called.

''Cherry!''

She turned to see her friend standing behind her. One of her eyes were looking at her, but both of them were scared.

''Dinky!'' Cherry Blossom exclaimed. ''Were you the one who called me?''

''yeah!''

''oh, so how'd the date go?'' asked cherry blossom.

''it was cut short,'' the unicorn said bluntly, '' on account of the rain.''

''oh.'' Cherry blossom chuckled nervously. ''oops.''

The unicorn looked at her sadly. ''Are you ok?''

''Screwball, I will kill you for this!'' Said cherry blossom, under her breath.

''Why is she doing this?''

''I don't know.''

Dinky stared at her for a long time. How could her friend be involved in these things? Was she hiding something? Was she keeping a real secret all those years?

''what's the matter? It's not like she hasn't been doing stuff like this before.''

''Yes, but…'' Dinky said in a choked voice. ''She wasn't…mean to other ponies before.''

Cherry blossom stared at her with wide eyes. ''What? D-Dinky, Wh-What are you talking about?''

The unicorn looked up at her. ''Cinnamon stick slipped on a banana peel and hit his head.''

The alicorn Froze. ''Dinky… oh no…. this is getting out of hoof… I'm going to go talk to her.''

''That's exactly why I called you…. To get you away…. From screwball.''

''what?''

The unicorn grabbed her. ''I'm not going to let my friend get hurt!''

Dinky tried to run with Cherry in her hoof, but she was stopped when Cherry flinched back.

''Dinky, I never seen this side of you…''

''Really!?'' Dinky snapped. ''Gee, that's real funny! Because I never seen this side of her! What happened to my friend? The pony who was protected by you, who would never hurt a fly? What happened to her?''

Cherry blossom grew upset. ''Dinky, what are you saying? She's still here!'

The unicorn shook her head. ''no, she's not my friend.''

Cherry blossom looked at her. ''Dinky, how can you say that?''

''I wanted to believe that Faith carton and Filly Silly were wrong about her, but… now I see they're right… she's just like your uncle. She's… She's bad!''

Cherry blossom had had it.

''Fine!'' she snapped. ''if you're not going to help me set things straight, or say anything like that about my cousin, then you're no friend of mine!''

Dinky froze at Cherry blossom's words. ''Cherry…. What are you saying?''

Cherry blossom turned her back. ''I'm going to help Screwy! Even if you won't!''

Dinky turned and ran away with tears in her eyes, leaving Cherry blossom with her head hung. Never before had Dinky spoken so harshly to her. And never had she ever said those things about her twin cousin.

As Cherry blossom walked through the street and looked around, she saw buildings floating, porcupine bushes, houses splattered in paint, the pink clouds, chocolate milk. Everywhere was a disaster.

Everything looked…wrong. This was not the town she grew up in, these were not the streets she played in, but she had had it. She wanted to make things right.

It's time she stopped and made her own chaos.
