Raven Dusk in The Sizeable Shopping Slight

“Brrr!”

It was a rather chilly day, being mid-winter in Equestria. No snow though. ‘Hmmm, unusual.’ Raven thought to herself. She hadn’t left the house except for necessities. No shopping for a week meant that she was running low on groceries. She didn’t mind though, her sweater that she always wore was keeping her nice and toasty. The pegasus was a potion maker though and she had packed a few in her saddlebags just in case she needed a bit of extra warmth on a cold winter's day.

The grocery store wasn’t far away as Raven Dusk made her way through town, despite the cold there were ponies about. She saw one look on with a slight amount of envy at her, must have been her sweater. Not many ponies wore clothes except for fashion. Even though she felt warm she thought she could be warmer. She stopped and reached into her saddlebags and pulled out two potions. The glass tubes each had a label.

Extra Warmth
Extra Weight

She squinted a little. It was always a pain when she labelled two so similarly. Curse her efficient system of keeping track of her potions. There were so many she had come up with over the years issues like this crept in from time to time. She tried to organize but often she just didn’t have the time or the patience to do so.

She popped the cork off the top off the Extra Warmth potion and had a swig, within but a few moments it was gone. She carried on her journey. It would take about ten to fifteen minutes for the potion to do its job. Stores were usually warm but it didn’t hurt to make sure she stayed that way.

Five minutes later and she had arrived, no need to take a basket. She could easily put everything in her saddlebags. She got out her shopping list and had a look. The usual things, she wondered if she could find anything whilst wandering around that would be a little different. Perhaps a cake or something, that would be nice.

Aisle one, the vegetable aisle. ‘Boring, but necessary.’ The mare thought to herself. She picked up a few things like carrots, a cauliflower, some radishes. Suddenly she felt a surge in her stomach. She smiled, that was the potion starting to do its job. She should be nice and warm in no time at all. It was a fantastic little concoction and when made properly would make a pony feel as if they were carrying a lovely warm water bottle around inside their belly. It was always popular.

Aisle two, this was bread and other things like that. Less boring but also necessary. The potion was definitely working now. Raven could feel it in her tummy working away and she happily trotted up the the aisle to collect what she needed. Funny though, she didn’t recall the potion having an effect of making her feel heavier. There was definitely some weight there, but she looked down at her stomach and didn’t really notice anything out of the ordinary.

Aisle three. This was a fun one! The cake aisle! Nothing on her list but Raven thought she may as well pick up something, her eyes fell on some chocolate brownie cakes that looked rather good and she picked up a bag and turned her head to put them in. As she did she dropped the bag out of her mouth and her eyes went wide.

There was a belly…
There was wider hips…
There was a rather pudgy rear…

Looks like my labelling had failed again...wait’. She thought back. She had made the batches at the same time and gotten distracted by a knock at the door. When she had come back to her craft the potions had had time to mix and finish off distilling. She distinctly remembered at the time shrugging her shoulders and thinking ‘Whatever! Either way I’ll be warm!’ and slapping the labels on.

Now she was paying the price. Not that she minded at all, it was just the initial shock of having taken the wrong potion. It would take about another ten minutes for it to really take its toll and she only had one more aisle left to go. She could grab what she needed, pay and be home likely before she reached the full size the potion was capable of.

Aisle four loomed into view. As she rounded the corner dragging her massive sagging belly below her she could feel her tum scraping along the floor, her wide hips accidently knocking into some shelving. She was getting less and less sure about making it home before the potion had time to finish, let alone out the doors of the store.

There were a few ponies in this aisle, one in particular, a stallion kept staring as the quickly fattening mare pulled the few items she had come down it for from the shelves and pushed them into her saddle bags, her now useless wings just being used to hold the bags in place. She noticed him looking as others quickly tried their best to grab what they wanted and leave. She couldn’t help but tease him a little.

“See something you like? I can be a real blob you know.” she said with a giggle and a wink. The poor stallion just went more red than he was already, before covering his face with a wing and trotting out the aisle. Raven laughed, it was always fun when ponies saw her at her bigger sizes to tease them somewhat, even when they were a little rude staring at her.

No doubt she felt warm though, the potion had worked. Just not how she quite intended. In fact her massive size was making her sweat a little. The sweater she was wearing had become rather tight against her lardy mass as she did her best to waddle her way down the aisle, her massive body jiggling back and forth as she tried to move. The potion however was nearly spent, it wasn’t made to make you immobile, just big. Big to a point beyond what eating could achieve.

However the poor mare was starting to struggle to move. Her fat belly had pushed out immensely, so much so that her legs were brushing up against her blubbery tum. Her rear as well was no joke, she could feel the weight of it as she looked back to observe it a little. Her hips were getting on for the width of the aisle she was in, with every step she was struggling with she could feel it brushing against the shelves. Thank Celestia she had picked up the last of her groceries. The only thing to do now was pay and get home.

This would be fun.

The poor cashier who was on duty’s jaw nearly hit the floor when he set eyes on the absolutely massive purple mare in front of her, her belly squishing up against his till as Raven struggled to reach round with her fat hooves and place the items on the belt for him to scan. He was absolutely mute, he had no idea what to say. Raven just saw it as another opportunity to tease.

“C’mon sugar, don’t tell me you’ve never seen a mare of my heft before.” She took it a little further than the last one as she had time while he scanned the groceries, shifting her weight a little and pushing against the counter more. There was a crreeeeeaaaakkkk as the flimsy piece of furniture he was sat at tried to battle with the hundreds of pounds of blubber leaning up against it.

“N-no uh...f-fifteen bits p-please…” He stuttered as he finished adding up the total on the till. With a small wink Raven fished the money out of her purse and left it on the counter, picking up her groceries and putting them in her saddlebags. The poor clerk was blushing too, if she pushed it any further blood might start pouring from his nostrils any moment. She decided to leave it there, but not before turning her hips and squishing them against the counter as well. She felt satisfied as she heard a small wince behind her from the clerk as she waddled her way out the store. The warm feeling in her belly dissipated, the potion was finished fattening her up.

Or at least that was the plan, the store had a set of double wide doors that made up the exit. The lardy mare managed to jiggle her belly through but...her ass was another matter, she felt the sides of her flank squish against the side and then...nothing. She wasn’t moving.

“Hnnnnggg!” She tried, she really did, but her fat body was just too much to put any effort behind to get the movement she needed to get through. A small crowd had formed behind her as she was now blocking the only exit. “L-little help? Somepony back there!?” She called out.

Suddenly she felt a set of hooves squish into her rear. Then two, three. It seems somepony, or a few at least was helping. The massively overweight mare strained herself, but inch by inch her massive overblown rump moved forward.

Pop!

It was a noise she wasn’t expecting but the mare managed to free herself, falling forward slightly onto her belly bed as her rear managed to shift itself out from its prison. The was a rather satisfying bwooompphhh! As it returned to its normal shape, well what could be called normal anyway.

Behind her the customers that had been stuck staring at the huge purple ponies tush filtered out, some stared more, others tried not to. The stallion who had seen her in the aisle approached her. He had actually been looking at her massively stretched cutie mark that adorned her rear. He finally had mustered up the courage to speak to her unliked before.

“Y-your cutie mark. You make potions?”

“Sure do sugar, why do you ask?” Raven said with a smile through her fat cheeks. She didn’t mind indulging this one for a short while. He seemed nice.

“What sort of potion does that to a pony?” He asked. Clearly he was a little more than just in awe of her size, he was curious. Maybe he even wanted to see what it was like. Raven thrived off the trade her potions did and it didn’t help to pick up more customers, even if it was unintended.

“One of my own creation, I’ll be honest um...this was a little mishap. I have others, I thought it was one of the other ones.” For the first time she blushed herself and moved a fatty hoof to rub behind her neck. “I sell them, if you want one. Usually five bits a vial. The effect lasts a day before wearing off.” She said, her tone returning to be a bit more jovial. “It’s a super fun potion though.” Giving a little sway to her hips to emphasise the fun that can be had with a big of extra pudge. “Just imagine how big you’d get if you drunk two of them at once, this is only the effects of one. I know I could go for more.”

The stallion blushed a little again, clearly he seemed interested. Large sizes must have been an interest of his. “S-sure, um. Got a card or something? Or let me know your address?” The stallion replied.

“Sure, in my saddlebag, don’t mind the groceries. Just lean in and pull one out.”

The stallion did so, his hooves pressed into her mass as he had to climb a small mountain of blubber to reach his goal. Raven felt herself go weak a little. It was lovely when all that fat got some attention, before long the stallion found what he wanted.

“T-thanks, I’ll see you maybe tomorrow.” He said, trotting off with the card in his mouth. Raven giggled, another customer. Well that would help pay for next week's groceries. She might have to pull this little stunt again.

The mare smiled, she didn’t use this potion that often but well...it worked. She estimated it must have stopped just short of 800 pounds of pure blubber. She did enjoy it though, happily swaying her hips and rocking her belly as she waddled her way back to her home. She adored the weight, it was her little secret though.

How to get inside it though, that would be another matter.
