Explaining and Keeping Promises
“It better be one heck of an explanation!” Octavia was struggling to hold her mug, the shock of seeing Vinyl dressed like that was quite intense. Not to mention, the stink from the messy diaper wasn’t helping.
Vinyl spat her pacifier out, “It was the club! they were into all of this! I had no idea! I promise Octi! The beer was so strong, I totally forgot that I wore this! They didn’t have a bathroom or anything! I’m not into this, Octi!” Tears are filling up the DJ eyes, as her normally white face was now an intense shade of red.
“For Celestia sake! Get these repulsive garments off you!” Octavia screamed as she held her nose shut with one hoof.
“Please don't kick me out of the flat Octi!” Vinyl begged “I promise I'm not into this! Just let me explain!”
“We can talk when you aren’t wearing… that!” Octavia was at the ends of her nerves, she knew Vinyl can have some smelly number 2's having made the mistake of going to their bathroom right after Vinyl made a visit there, but this was a whole new level!
“Thank you Octi, I promise I’ve got a good explanation!” Vinyl cried over her shoulder as she ran to the bathroom.
A good clean shower definitely helped Vinyl sober up. She was still tired as buck, but she had more pressing matters right now then going to bed, like getting rid of her messy diaper. As Vinyl walked into the kitchen and started opening what seemed to be random drawers she saw Octavia sitting near the table, counting the bits Vinyl earned last night. “What are you doing here Octi? shouldn’t you be at work?”
“Today is just solo practice, It’s done at home anyway” She replied “Where’d you get all these bits from? Did you rob a store or something?”
“Na, It’s just my payment, You know I wouldn’t rob a store at the start of the week anyway, you need to wait till the weekend if you want the big load!” Vinyl answered as she kept going through the kitchen drawers . “Where do we keep the big black garbage bags?”
“Top left drawer, where we always put them. Maybe if you helped around the house sometime you would know!” House chores were a sensitive topic, at least for Octavia, mostly because she was the only one doing them. A loud squish quickly broke her train of thought as Vinyl found the black bags and quickly shoved her rolled up soiled diaper into one of them, an action that reminded Octavia about the big sack of bits that came alongside her roommate's revolting outfit. “That weird club sure pays well, shame you won’t be going back though.”
“About that…” Vinyl said as the sat in the chair in front of Octavia “I kinda already promised I would do tonight as well, plus I left my records there…”
“You did what?” Octavia glanced at her roommate, odd thoughts racing through her mind. “Don't tell me you actually enjoy that sorta thing!”
“What? Nononono, I was very drunk and I really wanted to leave so I just blurted it out, It will only be one more night, promise! The owner is really nice and I don’t want to let her down, plus Berry is very unlikely to let me drink enough to get drunk again, I promise I will come back dressed normally and be all clean!”
“Berry? Who’s Berry?” Octavia asked curiously.
“She’s just the bartender, no idea why I used her name.” Vinyl said with a blush, rubbing the back of her head.
“Bartender?” Octavia said while rubbing her chin. “She doesn’t happen to be a light purple earth mare with a dark purple mane and fruits for a Cutie Mark?”
Vinyl was taken back a bit, how did Octavia know how that pony looked? “Well she was purple,and she was an earther like you, but I didn’t get to see her cutie mark due to the huge dia-” Horsefeathers, I almost rambled on about the diaper she wore, don’t want to freak Octi even more “-sk table, yeah... they had a massive DJ booth so I didn’t see her flank, not that I would look that way anyway” Great save Vinyl.
“Well there aren't many ponies that would fit that description. It must be my old friend from Ponyville, Berry Punch! What in Equestria is she doing in club like that though?“ Octavia said looking out the window into the streets of Manehattan.
“You know her? That's awesome! Don't worry though, it's just a job for her, it's not like she enjoys it or something, you ain't friends with a freak.” Vinyl really didn’t want to get any ideas into Octavia's head that she might grow to like diapers as well, I will never like using them... maybe tolerate though.
Octavia looked at the bag of bits “Hmmm the pay is good, and if Berry is there I’m a bit more relaxed. Luna knows she is way more responsible than you. Fine than, you can go work there tonight.”
“Pfft, I didn’t need your approval you know” Vinyl said as she opened the garbage bag. “You're not my mom”
“Well I’m not the one who came back dressed like a foal with a soiled diaper to boot!” Octavia teased as she left the kitchen, flicking Vinyl’s nose with her tail as she went.
“IT WAS A ONE TIME THING!” Vinyl yelled as she picked up the garbage bag with her magic. I'll show her, tomorrow I'll come back wearing the opposite of diapers, whatever that is. Now to throw this thing out. …Where do we throw out the trash? I don't remember ever doing the garbage, oh darn it, now I need to ask her about this, can this day get any worse?! “Octi, where do we dump our garbage?”
As evening fell, a fresh Vinyl was preparing to leave for work. Vinyl never had a problem sleeping during the day, which was an important thing considering her line of work.
Second night in a row, so this is what having a stable job feels like! I could totally get used to this... If it weren't for the diapers I have to wear every night. Vinyl was busy packing the pacifier and washed onesie in a bag, she wasn’t gonna make the mistake she did last night and be seen with this stuff in public. Maybe I should tell them I’ll go steady she thought before her mind got back on track and did a double back Like heck I would! I ain’t gonna work in that club, this second night is an unfortunate mistake that won’t happen again. Vinyl assured herself just before there was a knock on her bedroom door “Come in!”
Octavia entered the room, already in her sleeping gown. She held a letter in her mouth, which was dropped into her hoof before she gave it to Vinyl whom took away with her magic. The name Berry Punch was penned on the front, in mouth writing more elegant than anything Vinyl could approach, even with magic.
“Could you deliver this to Berry please? I was gonna mail it to her, but seeing you’re gonna work together tonight anyway it would be faster to have you hoof it over to her.”
“Sure thing Octi” Vinyl said as she dropped the letter in the bag along with the foal stuff “What’s in it anyway?”
“Nothing really, Just boring chit chat between old friends” Octavia replied with a smirk. “Have fun at the club Vinyl” Octavia said as she gave a goodbye hug. “Just don’t come back in a poopy diaper, ok? or in any diaper for that matter!”
“I will try, but no promises.” Vinyl teased her roommate as she left for work. What a silly thing to say, like I would ever do that mistake again! It's not like I enjoyed the slightest bit of it… but if I didn't then why did I implied I'll do it again? You're just overthinking it Vinyl, you're a silly pony who says silly things, so let's back to our goal and get on the way already! She left early tonight cause she had a hunch she will need some time to explain things while she is sober.
Vinyl made it to the club in record time. It helped that she actually knew how to get there this time around. And it being so close might've played a role in that too. It's like it's my local club almost, sure will make traveling to work easy.The more reason to stay here, not that I will, Vinyl was almost sure her Inner monologue hated her at this point, probably a leftover from living with mom for so long.
Vinyl trotted down the familiar streets, somehow feeling that moving faster will allow her to finish this foalish ordeal faster. She knew it didn't work that way but she kept a high pace anyway, at least she won't get caught with such foalish stuff in public again if she kept her time outside to a minimum.
As Vinyl got close to the front door of the club she saw a pink mare with two massive pink pig tails fiddling with the lock, keys in mouth. Just the pony I was looking for! Vinyl thought as she walked up to her boss for the night “Pacific! How are you?”
Pacific Glow pushed the newly unlocked doors open and turned around to greet her new (hopefully) regular Disc Jockey “Hi Vinyl! Fancy seeing you this early. Please come in I just opened the place.” she said stepping inside.
“Do you always state the obvious? I just saw you opening the place” Vinyl said while holding back a giggle,”Anyway I came early so we could talk a bit about tonight and to give you this” Vinyl passed over the bag with the onesie and paci to Pacific. "The uh... diaper's not in there," Vinyl blushed as Pacific opened the pouch to inspect it.
She glanced up and laughed. "I didn't expect it back Vinyl. Who needs a used diaper?"
"I didn't use it!" Vinyl squeaked, face burning a few shades redder.
Pacific blinked, confusion overtaking her. It was only then that Vinyl realized Pacific meant "used" as in "worn".
"You pooped yourself?" Pacific realized.
Vinyl's ears flopped down. "D-Don't say it like that." She looked down, kicking at the sidewalk. The conversation dropped until Vinyl looked back up. "You're not... mad, are you?"
“Oh that’s ok Vinyl. I ain’t angry about the diaper, that what they are for. Besides the tapes are a one time use anyway, hope you didn’t have problems with it.” Pacific said as she looked into the bag, noticing the letter for Berry “It is very kind of you to return the onesie and paci, but we have loads of them here, so you really didn’t need to.”
Pacific tossed the saddlebag over her back and went to unlock the staff room door before turning back to face Vinyl. “Berry will arrive soon, I sent her to fetch you some extra thin diapers from our supplier, so you won’t need to wear the thick ones again” She escorted Vinyl into the back room. “What do you want to talk about?”
Vinyl sat down on the sofa in the staff room. “It’s about tonight. I'll DJ, I did give you my word and I never go back on that, but don’t assume I will be a regular, ok? You and Berry are nice and all but this diaper thing just isn’t for me, y’know?”
“Oh... well, I appreciate your honesty, Vinyl." She forced a smile. "I hope you'll find somewhere else to work.” Pacific said, sniffing and tearing up, “You’ll be hard to replace you know? You are super awesome, but at least we have one more night with the best DJ ever, right?” At that point Vinyl was sure Pacific gonna burst out crying, heck, Vinyl was almost ready to say she would go stable at that point just to cheer up Pacific, Almost.
Luckily for Vinyl the mood was lifted when Berry came in the room carrying a big bag over her back. “Hi Vinyl I see you came back!”
Pacific quickly wiped her tears and waved to Berry “Hi there, she sure did, we got her for another night!”
Vinyl rubbed the back of her head as she blushed. “I will, just don't make a fuss about it, also I got you a letter from my roommate.”
“You do? That's odd.” Berry had no idea why Vinyl’s roommate wanted to talk to her of all ponies. ”Does she really got a letter for me?” She asked Pacific.
“She sure does!” Pacific said in her usual happy voice, fishing the letter from Octavia out of the bag and hoofing it over to Berry “Did you get the extra thin diapers for our DJ?”
“Sorta…” Berry answered as she grabbed the letter “They ran out of the plain ones and only had printed ones left in the store. I hope it’s fine” she glanced at the letter “Cool, it’s from my old filly friend Octavia; I haven’t heard from her in ages.”
“Neat, it's always fun to reconnect with childhood friends.” Pacifics said she picked up the extra thin diapers. “And the diapers are fine, thank you Berry. I can always count on you!” She gave Berry a small kiss on the cheek, Vinyl twitched a bit seeing that, hoping Pacific wouldn’t get that comfortable with her.
“How come Octavia found out we work together?” Berry quizzed as she tore it open with her mouth.
“Well considering the state I came back to the flat in yesterday I had loads of explaining to do, during it your name came up, and the rest is history as they say.” Vinyl remarked from the sofa. “Hey, what did you mean by printed?”
“Oh it’s no biggy, it just means they’re cuter! see?” Pacific added as she pulled a diaper out of the pack and showed it to Vinyl, it was white with a print of cartoon animals in baby blue and pink on it, it looked like an oversized foal diaper!
“Oh buck!” Vinyl exchalmed.
“Uh, you better read this boss!” Berry yelled as she started to read the letter aloud
Dear Berry Punch.
It has been a while since we last talked, and I highly regret that, I could make excuses for it all day long with such tired clichés as “Life got in the way” but I must take full responsibility.
I am writing to you with a request: Last morning Vinyl came back to our apartment wearing an oversized foal outfit including a very messy diaper, I would like to request that such a thing won’t happen again. She left home today as a grown mare and I would like her to return as such. I would have asked her personally but knowing her I decided to put my trust in you.
Also I have been informed you are the Bartender in the establishment, if you could help curve down Vinyl's drinking problem I would be ever so grateful. May I suggest not providing her any alcoholic beverages at all through the night?

“Double buck” Vinyl muttered.
Vinyl felt a smack on her plot. As she looked around she found the offending hoof belonged to Pacific. “Don’t you swear here or I will have to inform your mommy!” she told Vinyl. “Now let’s get you on the changing table and into a diapee!”. Pacific said these words with true glee in her tone as she pushed vinyl towards the changing mat.
“She ain’t my mommy! she is just my roommate! jeez, I ain’t even dating her or anything!” Vinyl grumbled as she was pushed towards the changing table. It didn’t stop Berry from laughing though. any more of this and my ears are gonna catch fire!
“She sure writes like she’s your mommy” Berry commented. “But to be fair she normally acts like one, especially to ponies she thinks are immature, like you." Berry chuckled, much to Vinyl's indignation. "And since you're so immature, I'm keeping you away from the booze tonight." Berry tossed the letter on the nearby coffee table before grinning at Vinyl. “Like your mommy asked me to.”
“You can’t do that! She can’t do that! right?” Vinyl asked Pacific, no way she could go through a whole night without booze, especially in this club! But I did have too much last night… and it would help me avoid using my diaper…. stupid voices in her head, Vinyl was more sure than ever that her inner thoughts are really out to get her. Making excuses not to drink and to work in a club where she wears diapers is really out there. Why can’t her inner voice be on her side?
“Normally I would side with you Vinyl” Pacific said as she opened the printed diaper and pushed it under the DJ plot. “But considering what happened last night I'm inclined to agree with Berry. In fact..." she added as she walked off to Vinyl’s bag, Vinyl was gonna finish diapering herself at that point, but she noticed that Pacific already finished with the diaper. Darn that was fast, she is really good at this… why didn’t I notice that? Am I already getting used to this cursed thing? Am I really… Vinyl thoughts were cut short as the nipple of a pacifier entered her mouth, she tried to spit it out, but Pacific was holding it in place “Keep it in, consider it a continuation of last night you drunky baby. Now, what do you want to wear tonight? Same as last night?”
Hard choice, I could wear that but it’s just extra stuff to get in my way, not to mention I might forget it on me, I guess going out in just a diaper would be fine tonight, everypony was wearing one last night so I won’t stand out too much… “nofin on donigh” Vinyl mumbled through her pacifier, her face already going 80 shades of red. “if dat ok…”
“Ohhh only second night and she's already going out in just her diapee, they grow up so fast” Pacific wiped away a pretend tear from her eye, “Sure you can dear” She said as she helped Vinyl get off the table, giving the DJ a pat on her padded rear as she walks away, sending waves of… Odd sensations through her body… She didn’t hate them… “Ok Berry it’s your turn..” Pacific didn’t even finished her sentence before the bartender jumped on the changing mat and started kicking her rear legs with excitement. “Someone is excited” Pacific commented.
“Well it’s always more fun when somepony else does the diaper change and you are sooo good at it. I’m still open for you to move in with me you know…” Berry said with a grin, “An all padded apartment, it will be fun!” , Pacific just rolled her eyes as she went on with the diapering, Vinyl noticed that with Berry Pacific was taking her time, doing extra stuff like cleaning, putting on cream and powder, giving her tickles every now and then...
Did Pacific gave me a rushed version because I don’t like this? So nice of her, maybe I should stay here after all…NO! What a stupid thought, shut up brain Vinyl just rushed out the door to her booth /crib before she started to actually want to work steady here. She could hear Pacific’s reply on the way out, something to do with not mixing business and pleasure.
Soon enough Berry got out with a massive grin on her face, wiggling her padded plot around like she actually enjoy having such foalish diapers on, but soon enough she was hidden behind the bar setting things up for the night. Pacific soon followed suit and seemed to be checking the lights and going through a list she was holding on a clipboard, ticking things off as she went.
Vinyl felt a bit traditional tonight, having played the same old house, dub-step, electronic and dance mixes she wanted to go a bit more old school, lay down some rocking tracks, or maybe even funky ones. “Oi Pacific.” She cried out. “Would it be ok if I went more rock, blue, jazz, disco, ska, style tonight?”
“Sounds great, just keep it upbeat and fun” Pacific answered. “Also I need you to go though the sound system with me. I just need to finish this pre-opening checklist and the sound system is the last thing left to tick off”.
“Great beats coming up!” Vinyl quickly dived into her stack of records and pulled out a princess album. “Can’t beat the classics.” She said as the record layed down on the turntable and the sweet sweet sound of Bowhovian Rhapsody started playing. She could see Berry’s head pop out behind the bar as she started to sing along
“What is my Real life? Do I live in Fantasy... Vinyl I didn’t know you have good taste in music, I almost feel bad about banning you from drinking now.” Berry said as she started wiping clean the bar surface. “Just almost though, you don’t get Octavia’s bow in a twist and get any pity from me though.”
“Well the sound system sounds good,” Pacific noted as she ticked down the last item on her list and placed the clipboard in her thick diaper. “Time to open the club, everypony get ready to party!”
Vinyl took a deep breath and went on to her job, but she couldn’t help but notice that the club was filling up much faster then last night, and the stream of ponies going in wasn’t slowing down either, they couldn’t have came cause of me, would they? Vinyl thought as she started to pick her playlist for the night.
The crowd was definitely bigger this night, this was certain for Berry, Probably because of our new DJ, she thought to herself, News sure move fast amount the diaper-wearing community, it always reminds me of my second night in this place. The bartender couldn't help but reminisce about that night… what would end up being the first of many...
“I won't do it for another night! This is too weird!” she said as she pulled at her thick diaper, Pacific claimed they are extra thin but she wasn't buying it. “I’m only doing it tonight because I have nothing else lined up right now and I need the money!”
Pacific frowned, “But you're the best bartender I’ve ever had here! I already got my hooves full being the host and the DJ, I can't take on bar duties as well! Please think it over during the night?” Begging for help wasn't something she was willing to admit to having a lot of experience in, but she did and to be fair it was effective.
Berry looked over her shoulder for a moment before facing back towards Pacific and exhaling loudly in frustration. “Fine. I’ll consider staying for longer, but no promises. Besides I'm pretty sure the customers here don't like to be served by someone that clearly isn't into this!”
“They were pretty happy with your work from what I heard,” Pacific said while rubbing her chin. “Clearly having a professional bartender serving drinks instead of having poor old me running around trying to do all 3 jobs was a massive improvement.”
“I bet they were just saying it to be polite,” Berry commented while she kept trying to adjust her diaper in a way that won't be so snug. “I bet you my wage that there will be less tonight cause they don't like me, a pony that doesn't like this diaper thing, in their club, bringing down the mood!”.
“How about we make it into a bet? if there a fewer ponies today I'll give you three times the wage, but if there are more you will stay here for an extra week?” Pacific said with a smile, “that way you won’t be risking your paycheck, I mean you just said you are strapped for cash, this way you’ll either get 3 days worth at once or a steady job for a week!” she got her now, plus doing the tax report for unpaid labour was legally complex, to say the least, so Pacific was pretty sure her offer was a win-win situation for everypony.
Berry tapped her chin as she thought over the suggestion. I mean they definitely don’t enjoy me here, and it’s a good point that I need the bits, getting them, either way, is a much lower risk “It’s on, but how about we make it 10 times the wage if less show up, But, as we are raising the stakes, if more show up tonight, I'll stay here for a whole moon, that's 28 nights”. I mean no way more ponies gonna come today, even if she was an improvement, words don’t spread that fast, right?
“It’s a deal!” Pacific said with glee as she shook Berry's hoof, “Now get behind the bar, it's Showtime!”
I was really wrong that night was I? Oh well, at least I got a cushy job right now and a cushy plot! Berry's started to giggle from her own joke when a tap on the bar snapped her back to the pub. “What can I do for you Vinyl?”
“Give me some beer, no scratch that, I need something stronger to get through the night, what’s your hardest drink here?”
“I mean we got Sinking Celestia Liqueur, but that like 80% strength, no pony can handle that drink clean, how about we stick to beer?”
“One full bottle of Sinking Celestia please, or I won’t do my show.” Vinyl’s tone was harsh, she wasn’t playing around. Berry knew better than getting into a fight, but she also wasn’t gonna risk sending the new DJ into an alcohol-induced coma. She leaned under the counter and brought up a real foal bottle, not the adult-sized ones they use for beer, after all, Vinyl asked for a bottleful, but she didn’t say what size bottle to use.
“You’re kidding me, right? What the hay? This bottle is so tiny.” The DJ complained as she was given her drink, but the bartender wasn’t having any of this. “You wanted a bottle of Sinking Celestia, you got one, to be fair this is way too much as is, and you better enjoy it cause I ain’t getting you any more booze tonight.”
“You can’t do that, I’ll tell Pacific! Wait till she hears about this!” Vinyl was hardly containing her rage, she was looking like she was gonna smash the foal bottle into Berry’s face until Pacific stepped in and placed her hoof on the DJ’s back. “Tell me what?”
Vinyl snapped her head towards her concerned boss “Berry here only willing to give me one drink tonight and it’s in this tiny bottle!” she waved the foal bottle as she spoke, Pacific kept her eyes glued to it before replying as calmly as possible “I thought you weren’t meant to have drinks tonight.” Vinyl froze on her spot and blushed as Berry leaned over and snatched the bottle out of Vinyls magic hold.
“Thanks for reminding me boss, don’t want to be the naughty filly who broke Vinyl’s mommy orders,” Berry said in the most patronising voice she could muster, stopping only from pinching the Unicorn cheeks. “No more booze for widdle DJ I guess, but you can have a BIG bottle of milky.” soon enough an adult size foal bottle full of milk was placed on the bar and pushed towards Vinyl. The white unicorn eyed the bottle with barely contained rage then was gonna protest, but a stern glare from Pacific shut her down before she could speak, so she just took the bottle while grumbling under her breath and went to her station.
“I mean you just read the letter from, what was her name, Octavia?, I mean you are so lucky I don’t do spanks here.” Pacific teased Berry. “What got into you? You normally are more responsible than this.”
“I know, I kinda forgot, was remembering how I got to be steady here,” Berry said with a giggle, Pacific also had a hard time to hide her giggles as she remembered that night. “It was a good example of how responsible you are, losing a bet and sticking to it, it’s why I was so happy to have you behind the bar.”
“I can’t believe how busy it was…” Berry just laid there on the sofa after the club closed, wetting herself, it was pointless to fight it now, the club had at least twice as many ponies as the night before, she would be wearing these dreadful diapers for the next moon!
“And tonight it’s normally pretty chill, told you having you around was a great idea!” Pacific was doing her best not to start dancing, she was actually making a profit tonight, for the first time since the club opened, and she had the reason for it working for her for at least another moon!
Berry sighed, “You won, I’ll stay here for another moon, a bet is a bet.” She was thinking about a way out but was stopped short by Pacific giving her a bag of bits, Berry noticed the bag was bit bigger than the night before, she quickly counted the money and noticed she seem to have gotten a raise! “What’s this? I thought I’m getting the normal wage!”
Pacific giggled and kissed Berry’s forehead “It is, and your half of the profits! We finally made a profit! I can keep this place open! YAY! It’s all thanks to you!”. Barry took a step back “My share of the profits?”.
“Yes silly, you did half the work, you get half the profits, seems only fair no?” Pacific at that point did start to dance around, her big crinkly plot waving around. Berry took another look at the bag and at her new boss. Yes, that is fair, more fair than any other boss she had before, maybe going regular here won’t be so bad.
Berry was once again brought back into the club by a tap on the bar. “Excuse me, can I… if you don't mind… have a beer please?” the pony mumbled quietly, Berry had a good look at him, he definitely was a new visitor, a Blue Pegasus stallion with a dark blue mane and tail, red Bandana around his neck and white marks on his muzzle and legs. His cutie mark of two paint buckets spilling their paint was hardly covered by the paper-thin pull-ups he was wearing. He was new alright, Berry already knew all the regulars here and he wasn't one of them.
“What you wanted dearie?” Berry asked as she pulled out an empty foal bottle and got ready to fill it up with the drink of their choice. “Couldn't quite hear you over the music.”
“A beer please,” he whispered, his green eyes locked on the floor, he was clearly quite embarrassed to be here, more reasons for it being his first time.
While most ponies would find it hard to hear whispers with loud music around them, a lot of the clientele here were very shy due to the nature of the club, so hearing whispers over loud music was something she had lot of practice with it. She quickly filling up the bottle with their finest ale and slapped the nipple on top she hoofed the bottle to him over the counter “That will be two bits please, what's your name honey? Seems to me it's your first night.”
The new pony laid the coins on the table as he grabbed the bottle. “It is Mix-up, I normally will find an excuse not to come but I heard there's a new DJ so I kinda had to.” He said as he left the bar.
Yap, he was a newbie, vinyl already bringing in new folks. Berry thought to herself as she watched him walk away towards the DJ booth. We gonna have to find a way to keep her. Berry kept looking at him for a short while, as it's always useful to know the new faces. As the blue stallion came near the DJ booth Vinyl looked up from her turntable and eyed his bottle, she then started talking to Mix-up, who was slowly backing away, clearly not comfortable with the situation. Berry couldn't make up the words, but the body Langauge told her what she needed to know, as Vinyl started pleading then got aggressive, Berry was already jumping over her bar and galloping towards the wayward worker. She had to deal with drunkards that were denied drinks before and knew the signs. Soon enough Vinyl was lounging at the stallion, only to be stopped by Berry slamming into her and pinning her down, the new stallion fall flat on his plot and within seconds from shock to the situation that was developing around him and heavily wetting himself, his thin pull-ups were not up to the task as he started leaking all over the floor. Lucky for him Pacific also saw the situation develop and came quickly to set things rights. “There there, it will all be alright, let’s just get you changed into nice dry nappies ok?” she comforted the stallion, just a glance at Berry was enough for the bartender to know what to do next.
“What the Hay?!” Berry worked with grumpy DJ’s before, she and Pacific even had so many issues before they set up protocols to deal with it, but never did it happen on a second night, or when the DJ was sober! “Explain yourself this intense or I’m telling Octavia what you just did, IN PERSON!”
Vinyl blushed bright red, her ears folded back and her rear legs crossed themselves, “I just really need my Beer! Or Cider! Please don’t make me go through this sober!”
“What scares you Vinyl? You can talk to me and Pacific, but NEVER misbehave around customers! You got that?” Berry held down Vinyl with all her might, a mare does get pretty strong when dealing with drunk ponies every night, plus being an earth pony was a big advantage over a unicorn when it comes to strength.
Vinyl nodded, something about the situation just made her feel like a naughty little filly, she wasn’t sure if it was the misbehaving, Berry pinning her down or that stern voice, but she felt really… small… in that moment, and she wasn’t sure she was hating it either.
“You promise to behave for the rest of the evening missy?” Berry asked in her most dominating voice, she could see that Vinyl was getting into the submissive mindset, which is exactly where she wanted her, not only because it made ponies easier to deal with, but also made them more open to the idea of wearing and using diapers, which meant they would put up less of a fuss later.
“Yes, Berry” Vinyl replied in her best good filly voice, she wasn’t sure what she was doing, but all she knew is that she had some conflicting feelings about the situation and she really needed some time to figure out what they were, plus she was feeling like she gonna be a bit wet soon, and not from peeing her diaper, and that was something she was definitely not interested in dealing with at that moment.
Berry released Vinyl and pushed her back into the DJ playpen, “Behave yourself tonight and don’t think you’re off the hook, Me and Pacific will have a talk to you when the club closes, got that?” the white unicorn nodded submissively as she went back into her records. Berry started to walk back to her station while keeping an eye on the DJ. Oh, we are definitely having a talk with you tonight.
