A Draconequus's Nightmare Night
It was a dark and stormy night were ponies could enjoy their traditional holiday nightmare night. It was Discord's first nightmare night. He usually stays in the chaos dimension for such holidays.
At the now spooky castle of friendship, it's crystals were now a shade of black with spider webs that held fake spiders dangling down ready to scare any unexpecting ponies. Inside the castle's throne room six ponies and a baby dragon sat on the six thrones with there cutie marks, the seventh was plain, and a pinkish unicorn stand next to the cutie map. They were discussing a certain topic of this special holiday "So how's you're scary maze going to go this year?" asked a levander alicorn dressed in her starswirl the beared costume, it was darkish blue with stars on, she also wore the beard. Looking at the orange farmer that had a lion costume like last year
"It's going mighty fine, extra scary" she said with a smirk hoping to scare Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash had a confident smile noticing her friends smirk quickly catching on.
"Let's see if it's got what it takes to scare me" said the cyan Pegasus smirking "Or is it another rip of Applejack." Fluttershy knew Rainbow Dash would overcome the maze but she felt like she was forgetting something but shrugged it off.
"I thought Discord would come and prank us on a night like this" a pink mare with a poofy mane said out of topic wondering why he doesn't even come on nightmare night. Twilight nodded knowing that draconequus could always pop in and pull a fast prank.
In a different dimension that never makes any sense. Inside the red house sat a very lazy draconequus "What's the point of this night?. Me and Fluttershy should have had tea today but this night stopped it" he said irritated not liking this horrible night but a mischievous idea found it's way into his mind. He smiled contemplating a plan to prank them it was going to take a bit of time.
Back at the castle of friendship Twilight and her friends finished telling ghost stories whoever screamed lost obviously Rainbow Dash won the competition it was easy for her. They got a little startled when they heard knocking at the castle's doors. Twilight walked towards the door opening it with her magic there stood three little fillies "Sweetie Belle, Apple Bloom, Scootaloo what are you doing here" asked the alicorn puzzled, she wasn't expecting guests and stood aside to let them inside.
Behind the castle stood the draconequus ready to hatch his brilliant plan to scare everyone this was going to be a blast "Hope you're already for what I've got" he chuckled and disappeared in a poof.
Meanwhile the crusaders were joining in with the eight friends for scary activities till the scary maze was done this was going to be the best nightmare night they had. "How long till the maze is done" asked the pink pony getting bored, they only been waiting for a while. Applejack was colouring a haunted house but spit out the pencil
"Not for a while sugar cube. You're gonna have ta be pacent Pinkie" she responded looking at her, she knew her friend was never really pacent but had to be tonight.
"Okay Applejack, I'll try" she said putting on a small smile hoping it be done soon so she could Injoy the shivers. Applejack laughed at her inthesum knowing it may not last very long. Rarity was reading a romantic novel about two ponies falling in love hoping she to would fall in love with a very nice and charming stallion, while Rainbow Dash was reading a new Daring Doo book that had her in it, she enjoys reading Daring Doo books especially the ones she was in. Twilight was talking to Starlight about her first night.
"Starlight ready for you're first night in the scary maze" asked an enthusiastic Twilight about her friend's first nightmare night in Ponyville
"Twilight you know I'm ready for anything" she said as Twilight's smile grew wider. It was getting late and the maze was nearly complete, the fillies, baby dragon and seven ponies were glad it's nearly done as well as one mischievous draconequus. His plan will come into action once the maze is finally finished
"Phase one will start ten minutes after the maze is complete then comes phase two" he laughed evily. his plan is going to be the most amazing thing that ever happened, he couldn't contain his laugh as he was going insane. His clone appeared wearing glasses
"Are you sure about this? You could lose there trust" he told Discord frowning knowing Fluttershy won't take this very well, she might not even want to be his friend anymore. Discord looked at his clone with eyes of insanity showing he lost control.
"This will work and everypony will love it" he said laughing like the monster he was before his reformation. His clone losing all hope decided to disappear not wanting to see the end of the horrid plan "I'll show everpony the Lord of choas rules this night" he chuckled waiting for the maze to begin phase one.
The maze was up and ready to go. Ponies entered the maze seeing it was scarer then last time. The group just arrived ready for a horrifying experience "Oh I can't wait" said the pink mare bouncing with enthusiasm as everyone laughed. Rainbow Dash was ready to prove Applejack wrong as she landed on the ground
"Applejack ready for me to not get scared" she said confidently ready for the maze not backing down as the gourp entered the maze ready for a fun scare.
Discord was already in the maze. He snapped his fingers and the floor turned into red paint, he laughed ready to dercate the next part of the terrifying maze as he disappeared.
The gourp entered the part the sneaky draconequus was in. They felt something wird on their hooves and looked down and gasped "Is that?". Twilight couldn't say it the words couldn't even come out "Maybe we should move on" she started walking to another section as the gourp nodded and continued to the other part.
Discord was in another part as he turned into a basilisk waiting for the gourp. He knew this was the best idea ever, he heard hoofsteps. He grinned as he pepeared his final phase.
The gourp entered the section and saw a huge shadow of a giant snake they ran scearming as it started chasing them through the maze "Keep running" the alicorn said as it tailed behind them. They made it to the end noticing it was gone
"Where'd it go" asked the buttercream Pegasus in a panic, she and the gourp felt like they had a heart attack. They heard laughing and turned around, they glared at the draconequus.
"Was that you?!" asked the alicorn in angered tone not happy about the experience they just went through
"Yes. And the floor was covered in red paint" he said proudly. She was ferious.
"Discord never do that again" she scolded him glaring, walking away feeling as the night was ruined tears running down her cheeks as she started running back to the castle. The gourp fellowed heads in the air not wanting to talk to him. Fluttershy looked back
"Think about what you've done" she scolded softly but sternly as she continued with the others. He felt tears of his own thinking he lost good friends but knew he had to make it right and disappeared.
At the castle of friendship Twilight was alone in her bedroom until she heard a poof. "Twilight I'm so very sorry" he said genuinely sorry for his actions that brought her to tears. She had her head down
"Go away" she mumbled not wanting to see or hear him for the damage he caused her, ruining her and her friends except Fluttershy's holiday. She felt a wird kind of warmth when she looked she saw him hugging her hoping she forgives him.
"Like I said im very sorry. I'll just go" but before he could tellport he felt a warmth, he smiled feeling forgiven.
"I forgive you just please don't do that again" she gave him the sad eyes. He smiled nodding as the two got ready for a quiet night.
