The time between worlds

I groaned as I opened eyes to see a orb of light flouting above me.

Good your up, hey so listen in about two days a portal will open an force you to go back to your world, that’s all time I got, bye son I’ll see you soon.”

What was that all about? My thoughts was interrupted by a light beeping noise and a bright light. I blinked my eyes a couple times. I saw a heart monitor it read 95 beats a minute. I tried to sit up, but something was wearing me down, I looked down to see Luna cuddling me. Why is Luna lie on me, what the fuck is going on! I heard Luna mutter something, I tried to hear what she said.

I all could hear was “Matt don’t die, I love you.”

I saw tears run down her face. I could feel my face turned red. I move my arm on to her back and started rubbing the back of her head, she stopped crying and started smiling and bared her face deeper into my chest. And then I remembered what she said, wait what did she say! She said I love you oh shit! What the Fuck do I do. And then I remember the two day time limit, what do I do? Maybe I can come back or try to it so I can stay with the first girl or mare that loved me. Apparently My heart rate because it was beeping fast and loud. It was starting to wake her up. At this point I could feel the sweat roll down my face. She yawned and stretched up closer to my face I could feel her hot breath on my face. She opened eyes to see mine, she blinked a couple of times before jumping up and rapped her forelegs around me and felt a slight pain and then I could feel her tears roll down her face.

She said “I thought you would never wake up.”

I put my hand on the back of her head and my other arm around her. When she finally stop crying I asked “so how long was I out for?”

She gave me a uneasy look as she replied “two months?”

I blinked a couple times and then yelled “oh god dam it! Sorry but I hate hospitals.”

She nodded in understanding and then she asked “hey when you get out of the hospital, would you like to go out to eat or something?”

I laughed and said “are you asking me out.”

Her face went from a dark blue to a bright red. “N-n-no I thought you would like to eat something besides apples or the hospital food.”

I replied “okay just let me get ready.” I stood up and I yanked the heart monitor cords off of my body and with it my robes. I pulled underwear and a pair of pants out of the void and put them on. I turned around to see Luna with her face was reder, it could put the sun to shame. And her wings were sticking straight out.

I asked “what are your wings doing Luna?”

She slowly put her wings down and said “Nothing why?”

I looked around for my vest and coat and asked “hey princess Luna where is my stuff?”

She replied “your swords were broken beyond repair and I gave your clothes to Rarity to repair a couple of days ago.”

I side and said “so I’m going to need a disguise as not to scare the civilians.” I opened a portal and nick attached himself to me.

Nick said “Matt, good to see your up.”

I replied “thanks, hey I need a disguise do you think you can do that.”

He replied “yes sir for 37 hours, and I came up with a mask and how you can wear it.”

I said “I can’t thank you enough.”

He said “okay sir it’s up take a look for your self.”

I look at a near by window to see a tall bat; alicorn. I looked back at Luna to see her mouth on the ground. I asked “what do you think Luna.” Her wings popped up again. You know if this is how it’s going to be I’m going to give it the nickname wing boner. Because it happens every time she blushes.
She replied “y-yeah that’s just that race doesn’t exist.”

I said “I thought I saw some of your guard with bat wings.”

She said “there fake.”

I shook my head and walked over to the door and opened it and said “ladies first.” She jumped off the bed and though the door. “hey can we get my clothes back first.”

She moved off of the bed and nodded her head and said “of corse Matt, we can’t have you walk around half… naked.” She walked though door and I fallowed.
