''Rarity, do you want to be my girlfriend?'' Spike asked the girl in front of him, she was tall, smiling, pretty like a princess, and most importantly, Spike had been in love with this girl since the first time he saw her when he arrived at Canterlot Hight High School. For him, this girl is perfect.
''Spike,'' Rarity gently put her hand on Spike's right cheek. The sensation that Spike felt at the moment was impossible to describe.
''Yes?'' Spike could feel his heart beating like a thousand drums. He had the impression that inside his body was playing an opera and that his heart was the maestro. Rarity looked him in the eyes and Spike looked into her beautiful blue eyes that reminded him of the blue of the ocean. She moved her mouth near Spike's left ear and pronounced her divine verdict.
''Yes, I do want to be your girlfriend!'' Time seemed to stop for Spike, his life unfolded before his eyes and saw all the moments of his life where he imagined this situation. He finally achieved his ultimate goal, being with Rarity, the girl of his dreams. Rarity held out her lips, and Spike kissed her, and trust me, for him, it was the best moment of his life, the best kiss too. Once done, Spike removed his lips from her and spoke.
''It was the best kiss of my life!'' Spike was crying with joy, Rarity put her right hand on his heart and spoke to him with the voice of a man.
''Wake up, Dom Juan! It's the beginning of classes, and you're late as usual!'' Rarity turned into a dragon composed of several pieces of other animals
''HUH!'' Spike awoke with a start, the shock was so violent, that he fell out of bed to end up lying on the wooden floor of his room.
''Ouch!'' Spike looked at his alarm and saw that it was 5:20 in the morning. His kiss with the woman of his life was only a dream. Spike, thinking back to that, stared at the stars through the windows, hoping that someday it would happen.
Opening
The sun was shining in the beautiful city of Canterlot. Canterlot is a peaceful city compared to New York or Los Angeles (Close up on citizens walking in the streets). But this small town also has its share of entertainment like the end of the year ball or the beginning of classes. And among all these students who are about to start a new year of their high school life, one, in particular, will live an adventure of a lifetime. And by the way, I was talking about me.
Spike's bedroom, more precisely in his bed.
Spike was lying in bed with his head turned towards his alarm clock, he opened his eyes slightly and looked at the time on his alarm clock, which indicated 8:20 in the morning. Spike looked at his alarm for several seconds. He pressed it, activating it, which provoked a reaction of only Spike mastered at one hundred percent.
''OH NO NOT AGAIN!'' Spike jumped out of bed and dressed quickly like every morning, forgetting something important. Her usual outfit was a pair of purple all-star, a green tee-shirt, and a black and purple plaid shirt. His hair, just like his eyes, was a fiery emerald green. After getting dressed, Spike came down the stairs with his black satchel on his back, he took a slice of bread and put it in his father's old toaster.
''come on, COME ON!'' The toast came out of the toaster and Spike took it without waiting.
''Hothothothothot!'' Spike put the toast in his mouth and ran out of his house. He got on his bike and drove as fast as he could to get to school on time. Unfortunately for him, once halfway to high school, the front wheel of his bike broke off, becoming a unicycle.
''Oh come on!''Right now, he was like a clown but with green hair and less humor. All the eyes of the citizens were on him and their laughter too. But the worst was to come because, in front of him, was an open junk truck.
''No, no, no, no, no, NOOOO!!!'' Spike braked, but his action propelled him inside the truck, in the garbages.
''Are you okay, boi?'' Spike was lying against several garbage bags, and there was a banana peel on his head.
''Boi?'' Spike looked at his watch and saw that he only had 5 minutes left before classes started.
''CRAP!'' He came out of the garbages and ran as fast as he could to Canterlot. He wanted his school year as a junior to be a total success because for him it was the last chance to be with the woman of his dreams that everyone knows and admires, Rarity Diamond. Spike finally arrived from the high school statue, he opened the doors of the school two man and ran to the gym. During his race, he saw the time on a clock and saw that his life was worth less than a minute. Seeing this, Spike decided to jump toward his glory. Time froze in space, and Spike feels like a knight jumping into the dragon's mouth to defeat him. His hand was the sword that pierced the dragon, and the dragon was the doorknob. The door opened, and the hero fell to the ground, victorious. He got up and heard the sound of victory behind him, then the applause of the Gods in his regard.
''YESSSS! I DID IT!'' Spike raised his right arm in the air as a sign of victory, and the Gods knelt before his greatness. Spike was now a hero, but in reality, his was just a teenager with a lot of imagination.
''YESSSS! I DID IT!'' Spike started to dance the Macarena on the basket court.

Spike raised his arms in the air as he turned, and he saw that EVERYBODY was looking at him the whole time, students, teachers, even the janitor! Spike looked at them without saying a thing then he smiled with embarrassment.
''Hi!'' Everyone laughed at Spike's incredible performance, they pointed at him, made fun of him, but the worst part of all that, he was in boxer shorts. Spike was once again the subject of mockery of others, he was in the middle of the basketball court, half-naked, and with the laughter of others as musical background. Spike looked around him, and all he saw was the carnivorous smiles of others and their mocking eyes, but between all these looks, only two counts for him. The first was, as usual, the look of his sister, each time she looked at him with shame and disapproval. Spike got used to this look, but for the second, every time she looks at him, Spike's heart stops beating. And that girl was none other than Rarity Diamond, the woman of his dreams. For Spike, This girl is perfect, her curly indigo hair, her azure eyes, her face worthy of the most beautiful mannequins of this world, she's a diamond among pearls.
Spike stared at her with a sad smile then two women stood in front of him, Spike looked up and saw the headmistress and her sister looking at him with a smile as cold as the cold war.
''Your office, now?'' They both pointed at the exit without saying anything.
''Alright,'' Spike came out under the applause and hiss of other students.
Principal's office
Spike was standing in the principal's office, looking at the different degrees she had obtained throughout her career as Headmistress of that institution, and in =the middle of all those degrees, there was a picture of her with his sister and Twilight Sparkle. Twilight was very close to her and her sister, they were like a second family to her, but that was not the case with Spike.
''Public outrage at modesty, This time you've surpassed yourself, Spike!'' The principal said while entering her office and sitting in front of him with his sister who follows her like a shadow. The Principal was known for her sweetness, her smile, and her pink, blue and green hair. As director, she had to lead by example by dressing appropriately. Most of the time, she wears a cream-colored suit jacket with purple pants and cream-colored shoes too.
''Not to mention your little private dance!'' The Vice-Principal added. Her, on the other hand, was the opposite of her sister. She never smiles, she doesn't hesitate to punish students for 24 hours, and she only wears black or dark blue, just like her hair. And you'll never see her without her dark blue leather jacket.
''So Spike, what do you have to say for this time?'' The two sister got closer to Spike while waiting for his answer.
''Well, at least I'm not late!'' The two sisters looked at him speechless at his stupidity then the Vice Principal took him by the collar of his plaid shirt, opened the door and threw him out of her sister's office.
''Luna, can I ask you a question?'' Luna closed the door and looked at her sister.
''What do you want to know, Celestia?'' Celestia took a bottle of whiskey out of her office with two glasses.
''Why is he stupid?'' She poured whiskey into the two glasses and passed a drink to Luna.
''I don't know?'' They toasted and drank their drink in one gulp.
''Whoa, you drink it like it was milk!" Spike says impressed.
''WHAT DO YOU WANT, SPIKE?!'' Luna yelled.
''Nothing, I forgot to take my bag when you threw me out,'' Luna took Spike's bag and threw it at his feet.
''NOW GET OUT!'' Luna ordered.
''Okay, but can I have a drink too?'' Spike asked.
''YOU MOTHER!'' Luna took the bottle of whiskey and threw it on Spike who closed the door just in time. The bottle broke against the door, letting the precious amber liquid spread over the floor.
''So it's no for the drink,'' Spike commented, looking at the puddle of whiskey on the floor. He looked at it for several seconds then he looked at his legs and remembered that he had forgotten to put on his pants.
''I hate my life!'' The bell rang, and all the students came out of their class at the same time, leaving no respite for Spike.
'' Hey! It's the captain's slip! Spike turned to see his fan and saw with surprise that it was Garble, a tyrant who tormented him every day of his life. He looked like a living dragon because of his red-and-orange hair, his carnivorous smile and the smoke he gave off when he smoked cigarettes.
''How are you doing since your little show?'' He asked, putting his arm around Spike's shoulders.
''Fine, thanks for asking!'' Garble knew that Spike was scared of him, so he takes full advantage of him.
''Good, because I forgot my wallet at home, so I need your money to pay for my lunch!'' Spike could feel his heart lice accelerating because of Garble's request.
''Sorry, but my wallet was in my pants,'' Garble stopped smiling and pushed Spike against the lockers.
''I don't care! Give me your money, or you can say goodbye to your teeth!'' Garble threatened.
''I have nothing on me, I forgot my pants at my home! You need to understand my situation!'' Spike tried to explain his situation to Garble, but this one made fun of Spike's life.
''Too bad!'' Garble was about to hit Spike, but someone stooped him by grabbing his forearm.
''Ist the violence violent to people who are violent with non-violent people?'' Garble turned and saw that his worst nightmare was behind him. Having fled Germany for an unknown reason, he's now teaching his philosophy at Canterlot high, hoping that one day, a student will understand his words. This man is called Donovan Verrückt Cord, but the students call him Discord because of his far-fetched ideas, his black hair with white strands, his patched brown suit and the fact that his eyes are red.
''So, what is Gewalt?'' Garble looked at him then he threw Spike on the ground and walked away.
''See you after the school!'' The bell rang, and everybody scattered through the corridors, leaving Discord with Spike.
''So how's my Lieblingsschüler doing? Nicht too cold I hope?'' Discord said while looking at Spike's legs.
''Why does this kind of thing only happen to me?'' Spike asked.
''Warum, my Liebling word! You see, questions and answers are the beginning and the end of everything in this world. Why did I forget my pants? Warum I'm only Freunde are looser like me? Warum I'm in love with a girl who is out of my league? Warum is life so hart, Spike?'' Discord put his hand on Spike's right shoulder affectionately, and Spike answered him.
''I don't know, maybe the world hates me?'' Discord slapped Spike.
''Falsch! Now let's go back to class because everyone is waiting for us! Discord and Spike entered the classroom, and Spike sat next to his friend, Pipsqueak.
''Hi, how are you today?'' Pipsqueak was one of Spike's closest friends. He devotes a great passion to piracy and never goes out without his red bandana, one of his distinctive features was the fact that he has a brown birthmark around his left eye, and that he's the number 1 fan of Luna.
''Well, everyone saw me in my underwear, Luna threw me a bottle of whiskey in the face, and I probably risk to be beaten to death by Garble at the end of the day but I'm still alive, so I guess I'm okay?'' Pip looked at his friend and patted his head like he was a little puppy.
''What are you doing?'' Spike asked curiously.
''I'm giving you positive vibes for the rest of the day!'' Pip rubbed Spike's head like an eraser on paper.
''Thanks, even if you're not Pinkie,'' Pip stopped, and the class finally started.
''Alright everyone, today wir are going to talk about Liebe, I mean love!'' Everyone in the class sighed except for Spike, who knew the subject by heart.
''Love is something that surrounds us,'' A student wearing a red and white cap with a green propeller on it raised his hand.
''Ja, Button?'' Button lowered his hand and spoke.
''Like the force?'' Button asked.
''Ja, like die force, Button!'' Discord replied with a smile.
''Sweet!'' Button Mash is the king of the geek! He likes video games, series, Star Wars, pop culture, his body pillow of rem from re-zero and he's one of Spike's closest friend.
''Love is a mysterious force that makes us feel strange sensations in our body when we look at someone we like. This person can be anyone and anything, ein Freund, a stranger, even a car if you want! Lieben is everywhere, and nowhere at once! A person can get married to another person, and their love can last 40 Jahre or a few minutes. Everyone can love someone or something, but sometimes it happens that this Liebe is blind in the eyes of some,'' Discord stopped to look at Spike who was staring at this blind love that is Rarity. Discord was one of the few people starting Spike's love for Rarity. Discord knew his secret because when he was young, he was like Spike, a dreamer.
''Spike,'' Spike removed his eyes from Rarity to look at Discord instead.
''Yes?'' Discord went to the board and wrote a question for Spike.
''For you, was is love?'' Everyone looked at Spike who didn't know how to react to his teacher's question.
''Love? Well, for me love is, huh, is a state of mind that drives us to do things,'' Discord raised his right eyebrow.
''What kind of thing?'' Discord asked.
''You know, strange things like,'' Spike began to panic, he looked out the window to calm down and saw Rarity in the distance with her friends. He stared at her for several seconds without saying anything, then Discord spoke to him.
''Like was?'' Spike looked at him and spoke calmly.
''For me, love is something that only the bravest of us can have because it takes courage to face the eyes of the person we love, regardless of sex, age or even skin color, love is universal!'' Discord looked at Spike smiling then the bell rang, meaning the end of the class. All the students came out of the classroom, except Spike, who was looking at Rarity.
''Spike, can I talk to you für ein Sekunde?'' Spike started to panic again.
''S-sure!'' Discord sat on his desk and took out a picture frame from one of his desk drawers.
''Look at this picture,'' Discord showed him the photo and Spike saw that it was a picture of a woman wearing a blue dress in front of a screw- shop.
''Beautiful, isn't it?'' Discord took the picture from Spike's hands and looked at it.
''Who is she?'' Spike asked.
''Das ist meine wife, Katrina van loose,'' Discord looked at the picture of his wife with sweetness and sadness.
''Your wife? I didn't know you were married, where she is?'' Discord's smile slowly faded from his face.
''she stayed in Deutschland with iher family, she didn't want to leave our beautiful country,'' He put the picture on his desk and looked into Spike's eyes.
''Spike, when I was young, I was like you! I wanted to know what love is and this love came to me when I first saw meine Katrina through the window of her parent's store. I fell madly in love with her that day, so after finishing classes, I went to her parent's store, and I offered to go to the village ball with me!'' Discord said while looking at a screw.
''And what happened, did she say yes?'' Discord smiles at Spike's curiosity.
''After asking, she looked at me then she laughed. At first, I thought she was making fun of me, I was going to leave, but then she took my hand and said yes in my ear. At this moment, I was the happiest man in the world! I then took her to the ball with me, und wir dance like no one's watching us, we were free. Then the ball ended, and I took her back to her haus. We were in front of her door, and then she kissed me on my Rechte cheek. I was shocked by her act, and she smiled at me one last time before going home. It was the best night of my life! And four years later, I kissed her under the eyes of iher Familien und Mein! But, I had to leave her without even saying Auf Wiedersehen! So listen to my words, sometimes love is not what we think it is, sometimes loves can blind us,'' Spike looked at Discord with sad eyes then walked out of the classroom without saying a single word.
''Love is strange, isn't it, my little edelweiss?'' Discord looked at the picture of Katrina and kissed it.
Donovan's words were like an unfinished symphony for Spike, he did not know what to do with those words, he played them in his head again and again without ever reaching the end of the road, and these words tormented him until the last ring. All the students came out of the classrooms to go to their locker except Spike who went to the bathroom to cool off. Spike wet his face to feel better, he looked at himself in the mirror, and all he saw was a teenager in underpants unable to confess his feelings to a girl who is one of her sister's best friends.
''Why Spike why?'' Spike opened the toilet door to get out, but Garble was in front of him.
''Well, hello there!'' Garble pushed Spike who fell to the ground, he got up quickly, but Garble took him by the collar of his plaid shirt, again.
''Do you remember what I told you? Well, I'm here!'' Spike looked at Garble and sighed.
''(Sighed) Go ahead, beat me, I will not defend myself!'' Garble raised his right eyebrow.
''Really? I mean I can beat the crap out of you, and you, you will not do anything?'' Spike shook his head up and down.
''Well, in that case,'' Garble looked at Spike with the intention of hitting him, but instead, he removed his hands from his plaid shirt.
''What are you doing?'' Spike asked surprised by his act.
''You're no fun! I like when my victims beg me on their knees, but you, you do nothing to make me smile!'' Garble explained.
''Really? So can I go out?'' Garble looked at him then he had an idea that made him smile again.
''Tell me, do you like submarine diving?'' Garble plunged Spike's head into the toilet for several seconds then he released him. Spike was on the floor, trying to catch his breath back and Garble spoke to him.
''See you tomorrow, faggot!'' Garble closed the door behind him, Spike stood up and looked at himself in the mirror again, and this time, he saw a loser, a High School loser. Spike came out of the toilet and luckily for him, the whole school was empty. He came out of this damn place and walked alone in the streets of Canterlot. Once arrived at his house, Spike collapsed on the floor. Twilight, who had heard his fall opened the door and threw his black Jean next to him.
''You made me feel ashamed in high school, you sleep outside!'' Twilight slammed the door, and Spike, who was still lying on the floor, took his Jean and used it as a blanket. Pipsqueak, who was his neighbor, suddenly felt sorry for him, he opened the door of his house and spoke to his friend.
''Spike, you can sleep at home if you want,'' Pip proposed.
''Or you can sleep in the garden,'' Button added.
''I want to die!'' Spike replied as he walked towards Pip and Button with his Jean under his left arm. He went to his friend's house and lay down on the couch, another of his faithful friends. Pip gave him a blanket and went upstairs with button, who took several snacks with him. Spike, who was lying on the couch wondered whether tomorrow will be different, or not.
The next day
Close-up on the school with the sound of a bell ringing in the background, then Spike appeared running, he opened the doors and entered the classroom before the teacher closed the door.
''Wunderbar, Spike! And you're wearing your Hose this time!'' The whole class laughed, Spike sat in his seat and looked at Pip with anger in his eyes.
''You didn' wake me up, you filthy son of...Are you even listening to me?!'' Pip didn't listen to Spike because he was too busy looking the girl next to Discord.
''Here is your new Klassenkamerad, I think it would be better if she introduces herself,'' This girl was the living representation of the word punk, there were many clues that allowed to deduce from this result, black boots, pierced black jeans, sex pistols t-shirt, dark brown jacket with spikes and many anarchist badges, yellow gloves with spikes, and a dog collar around the neck. She had several piercings on her face and ears, her hair was white with purple tips and shaved on the right side of her head. This girl was scary for some, but Spike seemed to be intrigued by her.
''Hello, the name Gilda Gryff! I come from London, and I have nothing more to say!'' She sat down in the back of the classroom, put her bag on her table and put her head on her bag while being watched by Spike.
''Alright everyone, today wir are going to talk about Liebe! Spike, was ist love für you?''
