“Beep, beep, beep” You groan as you roll over onto your belly in your cloud bed, laying there for a few more seconds before regretfully knowing your alarm won’t cease its dreaded noise. You sigh before sitting up and give your alarm clock across your room a glare that could make a gryphon sweat, but it still doesn’t cease its annoying sound.

“If only intimidating it would work.” you think to yourself as you start to make your way off the bed. With a yawn, you stretch your forelegs and wings before looking around your room groggily. Behind you is your cloud bed, more or less pressed up against the wall of your cloud house. It sits under a window facing west. You always did like watching the moon set on the horizon before going to sleep. To the left of you is your nightstand, on it is a half-empty glass of water, a journal and yesterday's newspaper.

One being the Ponyville express and the other the Ponyville confidential. You didn’t trust a thing in there but it was always good for gossip down at your guilds bar. Speaking of which, if you didn’t hurry your flank up you were going to be late to serving drinks! Your eyes shoot open at the thought and you run over to the dresser on your right.

On the opposite wall from your bed was the door out of your room and a small closet where you kept a bunch of old junk you never felt the need to get rid of. You quickly silence the alarm and look at the time. Fifteen past noon, “Shit, I’m going to be late!” You think to yourself as you dash out the door. You run out the door and right down the hall, passing your office across from your bedroom.

Directly at the end of the hallway was your bathroom and to the right of that your staircase down into your living room. You rush into the bathroom and quickly turn on the shower on your right to warm the water. While you let the water run and warm up, you hastily grab your toothbrush and hover a bit off the ground to brush your teeth, inspecting your light brown fur and messy dark brown mane before meeting your own blue eyes.

“Man the guys will kill me if I’m late again. Skyward you really screwed yourself this time!” You scold yourself as you spit the back wash out into the sink. You look to the right at the toilet and the window. “You could just fly out the window to save on time, but it’ll suck to not get anything to eat before work. A little late is better than being a grump to the lot you’ll be serving.” You think to yourself as you quickly get into the shower and start lathering yourself in soap.

Being extra careful with your wings you gently scrub them down and wash out your mane, hastily making your way back to your cutie mark on your hind leg. You’ll never forget how you got that, you and your father were sword training when you were a foal with wooden swords when you finally got a hit out on him. Finally claiming his pirate's treasure. You chuckle at the memory, knowing full well he never just let you win. But you did manage to finally get those thirty bits from his horseshoe box.

Then it happened, a bright flash and you got your cutie mark. An upward sword with Pegasus wings on either side that had the galaxy itself as a background. He said it was a mark of a conquer but you alway tell people it was just your fighting style. You usually fought on your hind legs using your wings as a counterbalance, holding your sword and shield in your forehooves just made it feel that much more useful. You're happy you didn’t go down the path your father wanted you to go.

With that, you finish scrubbing the soap out of your fur and quickly turn off the shower and dry yourself off with a good shake. “I’ll just air dry myself!” you yell to yourself as you rush outta the room and down the stairs, thinking of all the ways Starfire is going to murder you. She always hated pouring the drinks AND serving them. Nor did you blame her for it, it was nearly impossible to just hand out drinks on busy nights, navigating that too must be her special place in Tartarus!

You make it down to the bottom of the stairs and fly over the island counter in your kitchen and into the fridge. You quickly scan the contents of the fridge and the what is on the counter to the left of it. Hastily, you grab an apple and fly over the island again, landing on the other side. You then proceed to run through your living room. Your living room isn't much, just a couch, a coffee table with a TV and a DVR in the corner.

You really have to get around to watching that Daring Do movie you got. But then again you got your own adventures to have. You run up to the front door and grab the keys to the bar on the table next to the door before immediately stopping and looking down. “Shit my necklace!” You yell before flying as quickly as you can back into the living room, your necklace laying right where you had left it last night, on the coffee table.

You quickly inspect it before putting it around your neck again, it was a crescent moon necklace. While most others in Equestria worshiped Celestia you were a proud follower of Luna, her starry sky seems to call your name ever since you were a foal. But no time for those good old memories. You quickly put on your saddle bag by the door and dashed out of the house, closing and locking the door behind you.

You quickly run to the edge of your cloud lawn and make your daily dive. Letting the wind flow around your body as you open your wings and fly. Happily eating your apple as you stuff your keys into your saddle bag pocket, while you sloppily secure said saddle bag around your body. After you do so you leisurely enjoy your breakfast as you slowly watch the rolling plains below turn into sparse farmland and soon city limits. Good morning Ponyville!
