Twilight was eating at a diner with her friends as they had all decided to go out somewhere together, they were all eating lunch since they didn't have any at home. Twilight and her friends were talking to eachother while they ate but after a awhile Twilight ceased talking and just ate quietly and stared off into the direction in front of her as she saw somebody. Her friends took notice after a few moments.
"Are you alright darling? You were all fine a moment ago and now it's like your suddenly quiet." Rarity said, Twilight told them her excuse as quickly as she could so that they didn't get suspicious.
"It's fine I'm just focused on eating." Twilight lied as she was really focused on looking at this woman that was sitting across from them at another table. Her friends didn't see who she was looking at though as they weren't looking in that direction.
Twilight continued to stare at the woman across for them transfixed on her for some reason. She didn't think that she was gay but she still couldn't look away from her, she was lucky that her friends didn't notice what she was doing as they would question her about it and think she was weird.
Twilight continued to look over the woman who was eating by herself while she ate. She wasn't sure if she was attracted to her in anyway but she was certainly aware that the person's beauty caught her attention. She wanted to know this woman's name and age and personality.
"Twilight what are you looking at?" Pinkie Pie asked with a cheery voice as a Pinkie alive had noticed that Twilight was looking at something. She sighed with frustration to herself she should have known that Pinkie Pie was more smart than she appeared to be at sometimes as she could see that something was off and tell how a person was feeling.
"Nothing! I'm not looking at anything!" Twilight said quickly as she resumed to eat her food but Pinkie Pie continued to guess about it and it annoyed Twilight.
"Where you playing I spy!? I love I spy! Can I play!?" Pinkie asked. Twilight slapped her head in frustration.
"Pinkie! I wasn't playing a game I was just observing stuff now eat!" Twilight said with a groan. Pinkie Pie frowned and continued to eat as they resumed their conversations.
"Don't bother Twilight Pinkie Pie she probably has a lot on her mind. She doesnt need to be involved in a conversation everyday with us." Rainbow Dash said.
"Yes Pinkie Pie just continued to eat." Applejack said.
"Unless she doesn't um...want to eat...which is fine to..." Fluttershy said quietly.
Twilight sighed and just finished eating while they all talked. After dinner they all left after all them refusing desert except for Pinkie Pie who stayed to order desert. As her friends walked out the woman she had seen was already walking out as well.
Twilight told her friends to go on with out her and they told her that was okay and they told her that they would see her later and they went off without Twilight. Twilight went to go up to see the woman. When she went up to the lady to introduce herself the woman spoke before she could begin.
"I saw you staring at me earlier. Your not trying to stalk me are you? If you are then that's really creepy, But if you weren't then that's okay." The woman stated. Twilight shook her head no as she didn't think she was trying to. The woman nodded.
"Who are you exactly? I've never seen you around before and you definitely aren't my neighbor so your either live nearby or you are from another city." The woman stated as she examined Twilight to try and figure out if she had seen Twilight before.
"My name is Twilight. I'm from Canterlot originally and then I moved to the lower town of Ponyville, so if you have never seen me around then I understand that." Twilight said. The woman looked her over with caution.
"I'm from Manehattan until I moved here and now I've made this place my home as I didn't like the way citizens in Manehattan conducted themselves it certainly isn't as clean as I thought it would be. Here it's much cleaner. That's not the reason why I moved here thought. My name is Elise at least that's what my parents told me...the reason why I ask if you were stalking me is because I was told to always be cautious around other individuals as nobody is nice anymore." Elise explained.
"Maybe it's because you are around the wrong people. Me and my friends are nice so if you want to hang out with us you can!" Twilight said cheerfully. Twilight stared at Elise and that unnerved Elise for a bit.
"Sorry but I don't do hanging out. I'm a loner, I'm someone not committed to projects or anything. I don't do....friendships. I'm not saying that to be mean to you I'm just saying that I'm not worth anyone's time so don't ask me questions or think to hang out with me because we aren't going to hang out. Goodby Twilight." Elise said as she turned around and left.
Twilight watched her leave with a confused expression in her face, she wondered why she didn't need friends as everybody she knew liked friends, she tried to figure Elise out but couldn't think of anything she decided to go home as she didn't want to worry herself over that girl.
Twilight got home and once she got home her mind drifted to thoughts of Elise once again. She wondered if she would ever see her again but she doubted that as Elise said that she moved from place to place daily. She wondered why Elise had acted like that. Twilight went about her day as she continued to think about Elise and wondered about Elise's life.
The next day Twilight was outside sitting on a park bench thinking about what Elise said, she wondered why Elise said that they shouldn't hang out as that confused her it also upset her a bit as she wanted to hang out with Elise.
Twilight wondered why Elise had said what she had said to her the other day as what Elise said yesterday didn't make any sense whatsoever as she couldn't think of any reason why Elise couldn't hang out with her. Elise made it sound like that she didn't like Twilight.
She hoped that Elise would walk by her and spot her sitting there waiting for Elise which would get Elise to go and talk to her. She hoped that Elise wouldn't walk past her and pretend that she wasn't there as she really wanted to talk to Elise as she was curious about Elise.
And then as she sat on the bench in the park while looking around at the park and watched the people hang out and the kids play she spotted Elise walking to the spot near her, Elise spotted her and was shocked, they both stared at her. Elise walked up to her as Twilight looked back at her.
"Elise I was wondering where you were I have so many questions about you but I'm afraid you won't answer them since you told me that you didn't want to hang out with me. Why did you say that?" Twilight asked. Elise sighed and sat down next to Twilight as she knew that she was probably going to have to tell Twilight.
"Alright I guess I'll tell you as you have a right to know. You must understand that I didn't mean that I didn't want to hang out with you by saying that as I do want to hang out with you but I just thought that we couldn't so that's why I said that to you. I had a reason to say that." Elise said. Twilight raised and eyebrow as she wondered why Elise had said that.
"Tell me the reason Elise, I have the right to know and I really want to know." Twilight told Elise, Elise sighed as she looked away from Twilight as she thought about how to bring up the reason why she said that she didn't want to hang out with her. Elise was silent for a few more seconds and then she looked at Twilight again.
"Twilight....your my cousin Twilight. We were separated though along time ago so we have never met until that moment before this one where we met eachother." Elise said. Twilight was absolutely shocked. She had no idea that she had a cousin until now, what Elise said nearly knocked the wind out of her as the truth invaded her mind as she was completely shocked. Twilight remained silent for a few moments, she then managed to speak.
"I....thought that I didn't have any cousins. My mother never told me about you, what have you been doing this whole time while we were separated, where have you been during the time we have been separated, why did she separate us? It doesn't make sense for her to separate us for no reason other than to separate us." Twilight said.
"She separated us because the feared that you wouldn't like me. Do you like me Twilight? If you don't then I'll go away forever. I'll never bother you again I promise you that." Elise said. Twilight got up and Elise got up as well and then Twilight wrapped her arms around her cousin.
"I love you! I'll always love you. I'm going to make sure that we are never separated ever again. I promise that." Twilight said. Elise wrapped her arms around Twilight as well and they hugged eachother. They then broke away from the hug.
"I love you to Don't worry Twilight we will make sure that we are never separated." Elise said. Twilight smiled at her and Elise smiled back. Twilight was so happy and after they talked for a bit Twilight and Elise saw their parents and their parents said that they were happy that Twilight and Elise finally met and liked eachother and they apologized for separating them.
Twilight introduced Elise to her friends and all of her friends immediately loved Elise. She also introduced Elise to Celestia and Luna and they both congratulated them on being reunited. Twilight introduced her to Shining Armor and Cadence and they both began to like her after a bit of discussion.
Twilight introduced Elise to Spike and Spike began to like Elise a lot and Elise began to like him a lot as well and they grew to be really nice to eachother as they liked eachother. After they both talked to eachother Twilight and Elise hung out for the rest of the day.
Twilight and Elise began to hang out to make up for all of the time that they had lost together during their separation. Elise moved to Ponyville so she could live near Twilight. They began to see eachother every single day in order to make up for the time that they lost when they were separated from eachother when they were really young.
Shining Armor, Elise and Twilight all got together one day and had a sleepover due to Elise missing out on the sleepovers Shining Armor and Twilight had. The sleepover was really fun so they did it again another day when they had time off from their errands.
Elise, Twilight and Shining Armor were very happy that they had been united by a chance of fate, their lives were now linked together forever as they now felt that the family was really together now. Twilight was glad to have met Elise as that set her on course to being reunited with Elise.
Elise began to hung out with Twilight and her friends any time that she could have the opportunity to do that. All six of them had fun doing that together as they were happy. Twilight Elise Shining Amor and Twilight's parents hung out due to missing out on that when eye were younger and they all did that repeatedly from then on to make up the time that they lost with Elise as they were happy that they were reunited as a family.
