Chapters Cadance's Foalsitter Care
The parents of Twilight Sparkle, Twilight Velvet and Nightlight with their hyper daughter Twilight, made their way to Canterlot Park. Canterlot park was known by everypony who lived in Canterlot. If you were in need of a break, you could drop your child off and simply chillax at one of the benches. Although, it might of been a good idea to watch them as well. The park at many climbing structures and slides that the child could easily fall off if they weren’t careful. But of course, the park was for fun.
When they arrived at the park, a large banner was strung up on two poles with many hearts and stars decorated upon it. There was large words on the banner as well that read “Cadance’s Filly Fun”. Of course there was the play structure and then a few tables behind it. One table had many papers and crayons lied across it. The other one had many paints and paint brushes, along with papers. And the last table had toys and dolls lied on top of it. And apart from the tables, there was a large pool filled with water.
“Cadance!” Twilight yelled, galloping to her favorite foalsitter.
“Sunshine, sunshine, ladybugs awake. Clap your hooves and do a little shake!” They both sang together as they did the little motions for their hoof shake.
Twilight Velvet let out a small giggle watching them do their cute little hoof shake as her and her husband approached Cadance.
“I’m so glad you were able to foal sit for Twilight today. I think the idea of a get together for foals is a great idea.” Twilight Velvet exclaimed happily.
“I wouldn’t miss a chance to foal sit my favorite little filly!” Cadance said, hugging Twilight.
Though of course, Twilight wouldn’t be the only little filly here. Mares and stallions alike wouldn’t miss a chance to drop off their foals to get away and do what they like this fine warm afternoon. Cadance could already spot more arriving in fact. A light blue unicorn with a white and blue mane, a white unicorn who walked quite fancy and had a purple mane, and two fillies who look quite recognizable to Twilight. Her classmate, Moondancer who had a red mane with streaks in it quite like Twilight. And the other, Twilight was sure she had seen with her teacher Princess Celestia before, a yellow unicorn with a yellow and red mane. Twilight Velvet looked back noticing they were arriving.
“Well, looks like your hooves are about to get full. We’ll just leave for now. Have fun Twilight!” Twilight Velvet called out as she Nightlight waved goodbye and left.

“Why favorite kind of ice cream?” The light blue unicorn asked.
“Well, it just makes it more fun. Now, let's start with..You.” Cadance pointed at the white unicorn with a purple mane.
“Well, I’m Rarity. I like fashion, especially pretty and flowy dresses with lots of glitter. And, my favorite kind of ice cream is mint.” Rarity replied, gently fluffing up her mane.
“Wonderful, nice to meet you Rarity.” Cadance smiled and then pointed at the yellow and red unicorn beside her.
“I’m Sunset Shimmer, but I prefer to be called Sunset. I well..Don’t really know what I like yet because I like all kinds of things! And, my favorite ice cream is chocolate.” Sunset Shimmer smiled shyly.
“Wonderful. Hello Sunset. I’m sure you’ll find what you like when you get older.” Cadance then pointed at the blue unicorn who recently spoke earlier.
"Well, I'm the Great and Powerful Trixie Lulamoon! I like doing tricks, especially the card ones. And I like strawberry." Trixie replied, gently shuffling a random deck of cards she found with her magic.
"Thank you..Uh..Trixie? Maybe you can show us some tricks today." Cadance replied a bit confused by the "Great and Powerful" name.
"Its the Great and Powerful Trixie! Not just "Trixie".." Trixie Trixie corrected quite snobby.
Cadance then rolled her eyes and pointed to the yellow unicorn with quite a similar mane to Twilight.
“Me? Oh well..I’m Moondancer. I like books and..I think I like cookie dough ice cream. It's hard to choose what with so many yummy choices.” Moondancer licked her mouth as if she was eating a ice cream.
“Me too!” Twilight yelled and then Cadance shushed her.
“Wait your turn Twilight..Now you.” Cadance pointed at Twilight.
“Well! I’m Twilight Sparkle, I like books like Moondancer, and my favorite ice cream is vanilla.” Twilight smiled cheerfully now.
“Alright, now me. I’m Cadance, I like many things and it's hard to choose like Sunset. And, my favorite ice cream is rainbow.” Cadance said to them all.
“Rainbow? What’s rainbow?” Moondancer asked.
“Rainbow ice cream is quite like its name. It's the color of the rainbow and it tastes very fruity and delicious.”
All the fillies nodded, imagining it in their head. It did sound quite nice about now.
“Alright everypony, now that we’ve introduced ourselves, lets have some fun!”

Cadance's Foalsitter Care
The 6 of them were seated at the table with many crayons and papers. Trixie gently levitated a green crayon as the others simply stared at the blank pages confused on what they were doing.
“Alright everypony. As you can see, there’s some crayons and papers lied in front of you. I’m going to say to draw something and you will draw it! So pick up a crayon and get drawing!” Cadance said, trotting over closer to the table as she awaited for them to be ready for the first drawing.
Each little filly picked up a crayon and awaited Cadance’s instructions.
“Alright..Draw the..Sun!”
As soon as the first was given, they got hard at work on their drawing. Moondancer started off with an outline of black with her sun and the others simply used the color yellow. What was most interesting was everyone had their own way of drawing. It could have squiggly lines, straight lines, or even just the sun itself. That was probably the most fun part of this for Cadance.
“Alright, is everypony done?”
Everyone nodded as Cadance came around to check everyone’s drawings. The first’s was Twilight. It was a bit messy but still nice. A bit of the yellow color was outside the lines as well but still pretty good.
“Nice job Twilight, maybe just work on your circles and keeping the color within the lines.”
Twilight nodded, simply taking Cadance’s advice. Cadance then moved on to Rarity’s. This sun was a lot better and more in the lines. This filly seem to be one for squiggly lines as well since she saw squiggly lines on her sun. It was a pretty average sun.
“Pretty Rarity! I love it.”
“Thank you, I do try.” Rarity replied.
Cadance then approached Moondancer. Moondancer’s sun was quite like Twilight’s but a few changes. Her’s had straight lines but had a bit of a hard time staying in the lines with the color. She could pretty much give the same advice to Moondancer as she did once with Twilight.
“Wonderful Moondancer, just try and stay in the lines alright?”
Moondancer nodded and Cadance moved once again to Sunset Shimmer. Now, Sunset Shimmer’s sun was the most unique of them all. One side of the sun was yellow and the other was red. They each had interesting squiggly lines as well on each different side of the sun.
“Wow Sunset! This is amazing! You truly have a talent for art. Maybe that’ll be your cutie mark.” Cadance said as Sunset stared at her blank flank.
“Maybe, I don’t know if art would be the right destiny for me.”
“Well, I’m sure you’ll find out later on.” Cadance replied as she now trotted to her last filly. Trixie.
Now, this drawing had nothing to do with what Cadance had asked them to draw. Trixie had drawn a white card with herself on it as different kinds of symbols from cards were twirling around her. It was a cool drawing, but it didn’t have anything to do with what she had asked them to draw.
“Well, the Great and Powerful Trixie loves herself. So ! She drew herself on a card. The card has to do with Trixie loving tricks and decks of cards.” Trixie smiled proudly as Cadance just simply looked at the drawing quite confused still.
“Right..But, Trixie-” “Great and Powerful Trixie!” Trixie suddenly interrupted Cadance and corrected her.
Cadance then rolled her eyes.
“Great and Powerful Trixie”...I told you to draw a sun. Not yourself or cards.”
“Oh..Well Trixie is a rebel. She doesn’t exactly follow by the rules.”
Cadance rolled her eyes again leaving Trixie as she now stood before them all.
“Alright, so I’ve decided on a winner. The winner is…..Sunset Shimmer!”
Sunset gasped as she smiled and giggled, the other fillies clapped but Trixie as Trixie was too busy admiring her own drawing to care if she won or not. In her head she won.
The fillies played a few more rounds and Sunset won a few, including Moondancer. It was soon time for another activity.

I always pictured Sunset to be somewhat of an artist. Also, yes. The sun she drew was her future cutie mark. :P
Cadance's Foalsitter Care
Even Messy Can Be A Masterpiece
It seem to be another creating one as the fillies were seated at the painting table. The table was scattered with all different colors of paints and paint brushes. Cadance was just busy pouring each different color onto a plate from the cans for the fillies to use.
“What are we doing now, some other dumb thing where we have to draw you and not the amazing Trixie?” Trixie spoke rudely.
“No actually, it's going to be a game!”
“A game? Oh come on!” Trixie groaned annoyed.
“Alright, we’re going to do a game everyone. You will use the paints you’ve been given to create a picture. Although, you won’t be using any paint brushes.”
Cadance now smacked the paint brushes off the table.
“You will be using your hooves to fling the paint on to the paper!”
“Ugh...Isn’t that..Messy?” Rarity questioned, slightly disgusted by this game.
“Yup, but there’s always soap and water isn’t there?” Cadance said, positioning the papers up against some tree trunks and putting the paints beside them.
The fillies made their way to their paper and paints.
“Get creative everypony! You can make masterpieces just by flinging some paint on to some papers.” Cadance called to them all as Twilight dipped her two front hooves in her red and green paint and began flinging the paints to her paper like crazy.
Rarity casually just sat beside her paper and paints disgusted at such a messy game.
Sunset dipped her hooves in to her paints and slowly threw the paints at the paper. She was being careful on where she was putting them. She seem to have an idea on what to make while doing so.
But, Trixie the rebel she was, picked up the paint with her magic instead and splat it on her paper. Cadance trotted over to her.
“Trixie, your suppose to use your hooves. Not your magic.” Cadance reminded Trixie.
“GREAT AND POWERFUL TRIXIE! And, Trixie like Rarity would not like to get her hooves messy. It's much easier to use magic.” Trixie snapped back at her.
Cadance sighed, facehoofing. There was no point in arguing with her if she just wouldn’t listen. Cadance let the fillies have some time to splat their papers with paint and soon stopped them and began looking at all their papers. The first she went to was Sunset Shimmer’s since she seem to have a talent for art.
Of course, she wasn’t expecting anything big from them since it's hard to get a correct picture with just paint splattering. Although, Sunset’s looked really nice.
Sunset’s looked almost like a falling waterfall as blue paint falled down the page like lines into what looked like a lake. There was a clump of yellow on the blank part at the top, looking like a small sun.
“Wonderful again Sunset! I like the falling waterfall.” Cadance complimented Sunset and moved on to Twilight’s painting.
Twilight’s painting was a mess of all different colors. Most likely because she didn’t care about being neat and simply just flung them to her page with no sense of an idea for it.
“Nice Twilight, but, maybe have an idea before starting it.” Cadance slowly left as Twilight now folded her ears.
Twilight felt a bit discouraged now that Cadance didn’t really like what she was doing and more Sunset’s art.
Cadance moved to Moondancer’s now. It looked like a picture of a blue book but it was slightly messing since the paint was dripping down the page.
“Nice work Moondancer. Maybe with painting though, choose something that is like water that drips down instead of stays in place. It looks kind of like your book is melting.”
Moondancer nodded taking her advice once again and Cadance moved on to Rarity.
Rarity seem to of done something now as she approached. Her’s was interesting. She had drawn gems and they had dripped together creating pretty colors. They had mixed together creating new gems that were of different colors and lines. It truly did look like a piece of art that belong in a art museum.
“Wonderful use of mixing colors together Rarity! I like how the colors make new gems.” Rarity nodded as Cadance moved on to her last filly. Trixie.
Trixie’s painting was odd. It seem to be her but again, it was like Moondancer’s. Melting. It kind of looked like a blue unicorn monster kind of. But Trixie seem to be quite proud of it as she smiled proudly at Cadance hoping she liked it. Cadance smiled nervously.
“Er..Nice..Trixie..” Cadance said as she slowly moved away from her painting.
“IT'S STILL THE GREAT AND POWERFUL TRIXIE!!” Trixie yelled.

Everypony clapped again, of course except Trixie once again. Rarity gently bowed gracefully and smiled.
“Alright, no more contests. Lets have some fun!”

Cadance's Foalsitter Care
"Twilight?..Twilight! Come on..You can come out." Cadance called, looking around.
Cadance didn't really understand what happened within that moment. She was busy teaching Trixie tricks for in the water and all of a sudden she heard Twilight scream. She really only seen her run off before Trixie gave out a snobby comment. Of course, what would she of expected out of Trixie now? A nice filly? Pfft, never. Cadance suddenly stopped when she heard soft crying from a near by bush, turning to slowly look at it.
"Twilight? You in there?" Cadance asked, trotting over to the bush.
There was only the answer of small soft cries. Though, she knew who that was. Cadance gently pried the bush apart to find little Twilight crying with in it as small little branches surrounded her.
"Twilight, what's wrong?" Cadance asked, in a soft tone, hoping to make Twilight feel safe and able to tell her anything.
"I-I don't w-want t-to talk to y-you...R-Right now.." Twilight stumbled between words as she cried.
Cadance frowned, gently picking up Twilight from the bush and holding her in her arms.
"I'm sorry if I hurt you Twilight. I just want to know what I did so I can help you feel better." Cadance gently stroked her hoof through Twilight's mane.
Twilight sighed and then began explaining her case.
"Well..I think it was a stupid thing to be upset about but..Just..I felt kinda left out when you played with everypony else.." Twilight said, hiding her face slightly.
"Oh Twilight..I'm sorry I didn't spend any time with you really. Its just, the other girls need attention to. Its not just me and you here. Its a group of us together. But, I should of tried to let you in as well." Cadance hugged Twilight.
"Here, I think I can make it up to you if your willing to come back. I promise I will make you feel included."
Twilight gently sighed and a small smile showed up on her face.
"Okay."

Cadance's Foalsitter Care
All rejoined together, the six of them sat together at a table eating a large array of snacks. There was cheese and crackers, cake, cookies, chips, vegetables and dip, and even nachos. Cadance was gently bringing over a plate of celery with cheese on it, setting it down on the table.
"This is awesome!" Twilight said with a mouthful of cookie.
"I knew you'd like this. The best part is everypony gets to enjoy some tasty treats." Cadance replied, sitting down and taking a nacho, popping it into her mouth.
Rarity gently assembled a cracker with cheese on it, about to eat it when Trixie smacked it out of her reach.
"Hey!"
"These are the Great and Powerful Trixie's crackers and cheese! Shoo clean pony!" Trixie hugged the plate of cheese and crackers to herself, guarding them.
Cadance gave Trixie a disapproving look.
"Trixie..What did I say about sharing the food?"
"Hehe..Share it with everypony else?" Trixie answered, smiling nervously as she pushed the plate back to Rarity.
"That's better." Cadance now smiled.
Cadance looked over past the park seeing some of the fillies parents arriving. It was about that time now for their fun day to end wasn't it?
"Alright everyone, take the last bit. Your parents should be coming shortly."
Every one grabbed the last bit of snacks before trotting to the entrance of the park to wait for their parents.
First Moondancer's came, then Trixie's, Sunset Shimmer's, Rarity's, and last but not least, Twilight's. Twilight ran up to her father and jumped into his arms giggling.
"Looks like you had a fun day." Nightlight said, gently holding his daughter.
"She did in fact. Me and the girls had a great time with her." Cadance replied, smiling softly to the two parents.
"That's wonderful to hear. Hey, would you be available Thursday to foal sit Twilight?" Twilight Velvet asked.
"Of course! I shouldn't be busy that day."
Twilight Velvet gently levitated some bits to Cadance as they left.
"Bye Cadance!" Twilight waved.
"Bye Twilight! See you Thursday!"
Cadance stood there and watched as the happy family disappeared into the distance and turned back to the now messy park. She'd have a lot to clean up, but she had got enough money to pay for a nice date with Shining Armor. Perhaps the cleaning part didn't matter, but tonight would. Cadance now trotted over to the empty park as she began cleaning.

Cadance's Foalsitter Care
Cadance galloped around her home quite giddy. She and her favorite stallion would be going on a date tonight! The young Princess was so excited. But she was also quite nervous as well. This was her first date after all. What would she expect? Sure, being a Princess had its perks of being able to get a fancy restaurant to eat at. But, it also meant she could not make a mistake! The pressure was on indeed. She could easily make the wrong move and be given a view from other ponies she didn't want. Quite like...A royal slob? Her dinners with Princess Celestia had taught her the simple ways of eating neat though. Perhaps it wouldn't be so bad?
She trotted over to a small wallet, opening it with her magic and turning it upside down. Only a few little bits fell out of it and on to a small table. This would definitely not be enough to pay for her meal there. The young Princess began to panic. How would she be able to pay for this? The dinner was only in about 7 hours. She'd have to think of something.
While pacing she noticed a picture of her and her favorite little filly, Twilight Sparkle. She was hugging Twilight and smiling for a picture that most likely Shining took for them. This gave her a slight idea.

Cadance's Foalsitter Care
Rarity, Twilight, and Moondancer were seated at the table with dolls and toys as Trixie and Sunset sat and played in the big pool full of water.
Rarity levitated a very pretty pony toy with a diamond clip in her hair and wore a pink skirt. Moondancer had one that wore glasses and Twilight had a plain old pony that had no accessories whatsoever. Although, she wasn’t playing with Rarity and Moondancer either. She was just sitting there staring at her pony sadly. Rarity soon took notice and looked at Twilight concerned.
“What’s wrong darling? You look quite down.” Rarity asked Twilight.
“Nothing Rarity..I’m fine.” Twilight replied sadly. Although, she didn’t seem fine from the looks of it.
“Well, if you weren’t sad, you’d be playing with us!” Moondancer replied.
“That’s true. Please Twilight, you can tell us anything. We’re your friends now right?” Rarity asked.
Twilight then sighed.
“Of course you both are. I just don’t want to talk about it..” Twilight now dropped her pony toy and lied her head down on the table.
Moondancer and Rarity exchanged looks and suddenly both gave each other a smile.
“Why don’t we go join Trixie and Sunset in the pool? Maybe that’ll up your spirits.” Rarity said, her and Moondancer getting up from the table and trotting over to the pool.
Twilight slowly got up as well joining them.
“Finee..”
Both Moondancer and Rarity slowly stepped into the pool, gently floating above the water as the pool was slightly deep. Deep enough to jump off a board and dive in.
"Ah! There you both are! Trixie has already shown Sunset, but would you like to see Trixie's underwater flip?" Trixie asked them eagerly.
"Sure Trixie. Show us." Moondancer replied as both Rarity and her watched as Trixie dove deep down under the water, doing a small flip and coming back to the surface.
"Tada!"
They all clapped giggling as Trixie bowed gently.
"Thank you, thank you! Trixie will make sure to learn more tricks for next time."
Rarity smiled, looking around for Twilight and seeing her leaning by the side of the pool. She swam over to her friend.
"Why don't you come in darling? Water's cold, but you get use to it."
"I..."
Suddenly Cadance jumped into the pool with everyone, splashing them. Even Twilight got splashed. Twilight simply just watched angrily as Cadance showed some tricks to Trixie trying to teach her how to do them as well. Twilight started to shake with anger now. Rarity slightly noticed, looking at Twilight quite concerned.
"Twilight, are you alright?"
Twilight suddenly burst out with a angered scream, running off. It caught the attention of everypony, including Cadance.
"Gee, glad I don't have temper tantrums like that." Trixie said, crossing her arms and smirking.
