Unnoticed Threats

Doctor Whooves and the others were resting and waiting for Claudius to reemerge but he did not reappear yet, everybody trained while Demonicus, Mother Nature, and Spirit looked around the world with their powers, Modules, Kinetic, Inertia, Solubility, Solvent, Solute, Graph, Storage, and Data worked together to make new technology to look for Claudius while Joker wrote in his book to help them build faster and looked around for any signs of where Claudius could be. The elemental ponies from Nature Valley and the unicorns from Dreaming Paradise looked for Claudius with their magic,

"Anything on you guys' end?" Raging Tornado asked,

"No." Arcana replied,

"We're not having much luck either." Tsunami stated,

"Same, we haven't been able to detect him either." Archmage Astral Plane reported,

"This book of mine isn't giving any clues either." Joker added, Demonicus' attention got caught and everybody looked at him,

"Daylight Dimmer, Starburn, I need you two here." Demonicus said, and they ran to him,

"Is it Claudius?" Daylight Dimmer asked,

"No, the two remaining Friendship Absorbers have reemerged." Demonicus responded, and he cast a spell with his magic and it showed an image of Himeros and Eros floating around the Changeling Hive, the changelings spread love and Eros absorbed it and their lifespans while Himeros absorbed the lifespans of the changelings who forgave those who have angered them,

"So they have finally came out of hiding." Starburn commented,

"Claudius hasn't reappeared yet, if possible, I would like for these two to be destroyed before he does." Demonicus said,

"Agreed, I already killed one." Daylight Dimmer stated,

"True, but Hathor was the weakest of the three, her two brothers here are stronger than her." Demonicus reminded,

"I remember." Daylight Dimmer remarked,

"Sorry to interrupt, but who are these guys?" Archer inquired, the others murmured in agreement,

"The Friendship Absorbers are creatures of an unknown origin who are empowered by positive emotions, they absorb one's life energy through said actions and make them weaker and lives shorter, since this world is powered by those feelings, they are invisible to most people in this world, Twilight Sparkle and her friends have unknowingly and unwittingly made them stronger due to them being unknown to them." Demonicus explained,

"That's weird, me and the others in Dreaming Paradise should've been able to see and hear them." Earthquake stated,

"Yeah, the elemental ponies don't run on things like love and friendship, I don't get how they managed to evade our notice." Meteorite Hellfire added,

"They rarely appear and only appear when those positive emotions are abundant in one place, even Equestria usually doesn't have enough of those feelings in one area at once to make them appear." Mother Nature explained,

"Seriously? Equestria is a love, friendship, and forgiveness spreading country, and it's still not enough to make them appear?" Walker asked,

"Afraid not." Mother Nature answered,

"Equestria has it spread out across the country, those positive feelings have to be abundant in one place to make them appear." Spirit explained,

"Oh." Walker remarked,

"Would you like for us to go help you guys against them?" Arcana questioned,

"Only magic filled with hatred can destroy them." Demonicus responded,

"Will magic cast in a fit of rage do?" Archmage Astral Plane asked,

"I'm not sure, if anything, it will likely stun them for a short time since fits of rage are usually short-term, pure hatred that is long-term is the most effective against them." Demonicus stated,

"I'm guessing rage filled magic will stun them for a short time." Archmage Astral Plane theorized,

"Go on, Daylight Dimmer and Starburn, and remember, if you two fail, I'll go after them myself." Demonicus stated,

"Will you two be alright by yourselves?" Doctor Whooves asked,

"My uncle will be fine, me, I'm not sure, I never fought an opponent like them." Starburn responded,

"Starburn, I'll go after Himeros, you deal with Eros." Daylight Dimmer said,

"Okay." Starburn spoke,

"Will you be okay, Starburn?" Paladin asked,

"Don't worry, I've been trained in combat and using hatred magic." Starburn replied,

"But will it be enough?" Robin questioned,

"I hope so." Starburn remarked,

"You can make any weapon you wish, right?" Archer questioned,

"Yes." Starburn answered,

"Then maybe some of us can train you and your uncle." Archer suggested,

"I agree, never hurts to expand your skills." Kinkaku added,

"Thanks, come on, Starburn, let's go before they disappear again." Daylight Dimmer stated,

"Right." Starburn responded, and they left.

Daylight Dimmer and Starburn ran to the Changeling Hive and noticed the days were going on peacefully with them being unaware of Himeros and Eros,

"Yes, good, keep loving and forgiving to empower us." Himeros said,

"Thank goodness Hathor is gone, absorbing life energies has been easier without her." Eros remarked,

"You got that right, our weak and annoying little sister being dead has truly helped us in the long run, I know she mostly absorbed friendship and took in more life energy than you and I, but she still took too long." Himeros replied,

"What do we do after this, brother?" Eros asked,

"Go into hiding, this will be our main source of getting empowered since we no longer really have a reason to go to Equestria now unless forgiveness is happening or you need to absorb love in the Crystal Empire, I say we come here from now on to shorten lifespans." Himeros answered, and he and Eros snickered, they turned around and got ready to float away and Daylight Dimmer shot a dark green energy blast out of his front hoofs at Himeros while Starburn shot a bright red-orange energy blast out of his front hoofs at Eros, they heard the blasts coming and they quickly floated to the sides and dodged them,

"What the?" Eros exclaimed, and he and Himeros turned around,

"So you've returned, I was wondering when I would see you again." Himeros remarked, Daylight Dimmer and Starburn summoned two energy swords in their front hoofs',

"Wanna fight and nothing else, very well then." Eros stated, and he summoned his sword and shield while Himeros had orange auras around his hands and feet. Daylight Dimmer went to go fight Himeros while Starburn went to go fight Eros, Daylight Dimmer swung his swords around and sent dark green energy waves forward while Himeros punched and kicked with each attack sending out orange energy waves and they cancelled out one another, he crouched and did spin kicks and aimed the waves at Daylight Dimmer's hind hoofs, he made a dark green shield appear around himself to block them but one orange energy wave destroyed the shield and he jumped and did a back flip to dodge the rest. Starburn swung his swords around and sent bright red-orange energy waves at Eros and he blocked them with his shield, he pressed it forward and tried to bash Starburn with it, he blocked it with his swords and he got pushed back a few feet while a big red energy blast shaped like his shield shot out and Starburn's eyes widened, he jumped and did a back flip and just barely dodged it, the shockwave pushed him back and almost knocked him down, he saw Eros running to him at high speeds and was about to slash him with his sword, he held his two swords up to block it and the force of his attack pushed his hind hoofs into the ground and made a crater. Himeros saw Starburn was having trouble keeping up and he did several punches and sent orange energy waves to him, his eyes and mouth opened widely while Daylight Dimmer went in front of him and made a dark green shield appear around himself, the first orange wave destroyed the shield and pushed him back while he blocked the rest with his swords, Starburn began to grunt a little while his front legs began to give out and Eros' sword moved down, Daylight Dimmer and grabbed Starburn and moved away while Eros' sword went into the ground, Himeros shot an orange blast out of his hands while Eros pointed his sword and shot a red blast out of its tip, they fused together and flew to Daylight Dimmer and Starburn, they made energy shields come up to block it and they grunted when the impact shot them away, they used their hatred magic to dig holes and hide underground, the smoke cleared and Himeros and Eros looked for them.

Daylight Dimmer and Starburn hid underground while Himeros and Eros looked around, they burrowed deeper and crawled in opposite directions, they began crawling back up and Daylight Dimmer had no problem while Starburn stopped and panted a few times. Daylight Dimmer dug the ground out above him and moved slower and quieter as he got closer to the surface and stopped when he heard Himeros walking, it went silent and he burst out of the ground and put Himeros in a chokehold from behind, he looked forward and saw Eros was still there and Starburn was not up yet. Starburn panted and recovered, he climbed up through the ground as fast as he could and emerged from underground, he saw Daylight Dimmer restraining Himeros from behind and Eros trying to slash him with his sword but Daylight Dimmer moved Himeros in his sword's path and he stopped moving his sword, Starburn ran and lunged forward and jumped, he wrapped his front hoofs around Eros' neck. Eros spun around and Himeros shot energy blasts out of his hands and feet at Starburn, he got hit in his back and he screamed while they cut his body and entered while orange light came out. Daylight Dimmer looked on in shock while Himeros hit Daylight Dimmer in his liver with his elbow and stunned him, he then threw Daylight Dimmer over his own shoulder while Eros spun around and threw Starburn off of himself, they hit one another and grunted when they fell on the ground, Himeros' eyes glowed and the orange energy waves in Starburns body exploded and he and Daylight Dimmer screamed, Eros pointed his sword and shot red energy waves at them and it exploded on them and they screamed, the smoke cleared and saw a crater and Daylight Dimmer and Starburn were gone and they floated away.

Daylight Dimmer and Starburn hid underground while panting, they came out and saw Himeros and Eros were gone,

"Drat, they got away." Starburn remarked,

"Let's go back and recover, we'll look for them again after we heal." Daylight Dimmer replied, and they went back while the changelings watched them from afar with confused expressions. Daylight Dimmer and Starburn arrived back at the hideout and went to Demonicus,

"Himeros and Eros got away." Daylight Dimmer reported,

"I know, that doesn't mean you two have failed, go ahead and recover, I'll let you two know when they resurface." Demonicus replied, and they walked away. They walked together and saw Commander Lionheart and Paladin standing in front of them,

"You two don't seem to be completely polished in your fighting skills, you two really could use some more training." Commander Lionheart remarked,

"Which weapons?" Starburn asked,

"All kinds, you two can't just stick to dual wielding swords for every combat situation." Paladin responded,

"I do use different weapons from time to time." Daylight Dimmer stated,

"But it doesn't seem to be often, come on, us and the Pegasi from Dreaming Paradise have much to teach you two." Commander Lionheart said, and they went. The earth ponies from Dreaming Paradise trained Daylight Dimmer and Starburn in hoof-to-hoof combat, swords, regular shields, spears, battleaxes, war hammers, maces, bows, and crossbows while the Pegasi from Dreaming Paradise trained them in stealth, how to conceal weapons, voice mimicry, freerunning, parkour, lock picking, how to disguise oneself as another pony, how to make medicine and poison, how to use and fix technology, and meditating, Meteorite Hellfire also taught them how to use her sword, and Archer trained them in aiming bows better,

"Not bad, Demonicus have trained you two pretty well on his own, but there is always something new to learn." Master Nocturne said,

"I was trained ever since I was a foal." Daylight Dimmer replied,

"So were we, but it seems you and your nephew were not trained by professionals." Robin observed,

"My brother and I were trained by our parents and didn't have professionals either." Kinkaku spoke,

"We can train you two, too, even though your swords are completely different from one another, it seems they can compliment one another perfectly if you two fought together." Commander Lionheart stated,

"Hmm, true, my fighting style is meant to be fast but weak while Ginkaku's is slow but strong." Kinkaku remarked,

"See, there you two go, you two are supposed to work together, fight using your strengths while also covering the other's weaknesses." Paladin spoke,

"It hasn't come to that yet, when Kinkaku and I had to fight our ancestors, we had to fight them separately and our respective opponents used the same weapons and fighting style as us." Ginkaku responded,

"Maybe next time, you two will have to work together." Robin stated,

"That reminds me, Daylight Dimmer, Starburn, I've been wondering if you guys' hatred powers is weaker or stronger than our willpower powers." Kinkaku stated,

"I think it depends on the individual." Daylight Dimmer observed,

"I know, but I wondered which one is more powerful without being empowered by someone." Kinkaku replied,

"I'd like to test." Starburn spoke,

"Alright then, here goes." Kinkaku said, and she pointed her sabre at him and shot a gold blast out of it while Starburn shot a bright red-orange blast out of his front hoofs and they entered a deadlock. They were at a stalemate and both remained calm, they stayed in the deadlock while Starburn and Kinkaku kept their minds clear of any thoughts, they began to fuse together and the two noticed and stopped,

"What was that?" Raging Tornado questioned,

"It seems the hatred magic and willpower magic began to combine." Archmage Astral Plane observed,

"I'm assuming willpower magic can combine with love and friendship magic as well." Tao theorized,

"Let's give them all a try, maybe all of our different types of magics can be combined to form more powerful attacks." Mother Nature stated,

"Love and friendship magic cannot combine with hatred magic, they cancel out one another." Demonicus said,

"What kind of magic do you use, Soul Medium?" Solute asked,

"It's mostly shaman magic alongside enchanted talismans and runes, they are neutral magic, no love and friendship or hatred in them." Soul Medium explained,

"It might be able to combine with the others then." Tao deduced,

"I think it's worth trying, too." Doctor Whooves said, the others agreed and they tried. Daylight Dimmer and Starburn used their hatred magic, Walker, Runner, and Sprinter used their spiritual powers, Raging Tornado used her wind magic, Earthquake used her earth magic, Tsunami used her water magic, Meteorite Hellfire used her fire magic, Kinkaku and Ginkaku used their willpower magic, and Soul Medium used his shaman magic and all of them were able to be combined and create stronger attacks,

"Interesting, maybe they can help against Claudius." Cassius suggested, the others agreed,

"You think you guys and the air ponies could work together?" Doctor Whooves suggested,

"Well, I'm not sure if our powers can combine with the others or not." Mustang stated,

"Let's rest now, Daylight Dimmer and Starburn, I'll let you know when either Himeros and Eros or Claudius resurface." Demonicus spoke, and they rested. Four days passed and Daylight Dimmer and Starburn were learning how to use guns while Gunslinger and Robin taught them how,

"Back." Gunslinger said, Starburn noticed his back was a little bent forward and he straightened it, he and Daylight Dimmer fired pistols and revolvers and they hit most of their targets, they finished and Gunslinger gave Daylight Dimmer shotguns and rifles,

"I wanna try." Starburn said,

"Nope, they're very heavy." Robin responded,

"Really?" Starburn questioned, Gunslinger let him hold the shotgun and rifle and his front hoofs,

"Oof, this is heavy." Starburn commented as he could not lift his front legs up,

"See, there you go, you can try when you get older." Robin stated, and Gunslinger gave them back to Daylight Dimmer and he began shooting, Starburn covered his ears while Daylight Dimmer tried and the recoils made his front hoofs move up a lot, his front hoofs hurt after a few shots and put the shotgun down, he tried the rifle and he only shot one round and put it down after the strong recoil hurt his front legs,

"I'll stick to the pistol." Daylight Dimmer remarked, Robin chuckled, and he and Starburn took a break. They rested and recovered while the harpies, vulcans, and onis continued training with one another and the others conversed and had fun,

"Starburn, Daylight Dimmer, they're back." Demonicus stated, and they walked to him, they saw an image of Himeros and Eros in a new hideout and walking out,

"They seem to be between Equestria and the Changeling Hive." Starburn deduced,

"Indeed, look more closely to their surroundings, too." Demonicus instructed,

"The Crystal Empire seems pretty close by, too." Daylight Dimmer observed,

"Exactly, Eros can access Princess Cadance's love magic quickly and absorb it alongside her life energy, Himeros can absorb life energy from ponies forgiving one another, too." Demonicus explained,

"Would you two like backup this time?" Arcana asked,

"I'll try one more time, if we fail again, we'll take the backup." Daylight Dimmer stated, Arcana nodded,

"Come on, Starburn, let's go." Daylight Dimmer said, and they left.

Daylight Dimmer and Starburn ran and avoided the ponies patrolling the countries' borders, they arrived at Himeros' and Eros' hideout that was between the Changeling Hive and Crystal Empire, they saw the two finish training and walk together,

"Nice job, little brother, you're getting better." Himeros remarked,

"Thanks, it sure is nice that we can finally train seriously now that Hathor is gone." Eros spoke,

"You got that right, lazy bum who hated training and ended up weaker than you and I, it's really no surprise she was the first one to die." Himeros responded,

"Yeah, looks like we really were better off without her." Eros said, Daylight Dimmer and Starburn moved carefully and tried to sneak up on them, they went just below the ground's surface and moved quietly while Himeros and Eros continued to converse, they jumped out of the ground while they tried to turn around but Daylight Dimmer wrapped his front legs around Himeros' neck while Starburn wrapped his front legs around Eros' neck. They gasped for breath and grunted while trying to get them off, Eros began to fall while Himeros did a somersault and threw Daylight Dimmer off of himself, he did a somersault and kicked Eros in his chest with his hind hoofs, he grunted and fell over while Starburn swung his body over Eros' head and continued to choke him while he fell over. Eros summoned his sword in his right hand and tried to stab Starburn while he summoned a shield around himself to block it, the force shot him into the sky while his shield got destroyed and Eros shot a beam out of his sword's tip, Daylight Dimmer changed his swords to spears and threw them at Eros, he summoned his shield and blocked them. Himeros moved really fast and looked like he teleported and he punched his left fist into Daylight Dimmer's spine, he grunted loudly while reeling back and Eros tried to stab his sword into him while pointing his shield at Starburn and shot a big blast shaped like his shield out, Starburn managed to do a back flip while using his hatred magic to create pistols and shot at Eros, he blocked them with his shield while Daylight Dimmer summoned pistols with his hatred magic and jumped and shot Eros in his head a few times, he grunted while being pushed back a little and he then swung his shield out and sent a big red energy wave at him, Daylight Dimmer jumped and dodged it and it hit Himeros, he combined it with his magic and did punches and kicks to send the waves to him and Starburn and they grunted while it pushed them away.

Daylight Dimmer and Starburn began to fall and Starburn grunted while he fell onto the ground while Daylight Dimmer did a back flip and landed on his hoofs, Himeros and Eros shot more energy waves at them and Daylight Dimmer jumped back but they hit the ground instead and smoke went up, they looked around and saw silhouettes of Himeros and Eros moving around them, they got ready while summoning spears and shields, the smoke cleared and they saw they were energy waves shaped like them, they lunged forward and Daylight Dimmer and Starburn stabbed them and they exploded, they grunted and flew through the air and fell. They looked up and saw Himeros and Eros were nowhere to be seen, the ground rumbled under them and turned red and orange, they created shields with their hatred magic and quickly moved away while the ground erupted and red and orange energy erupted out of the ground and went into the sky, they began falling onto the ground and they ran around to dodge them, Eros' energy powers bounced off while Himeros' energy powers knocked them down and almost destroyed their shields. Himeros and Eros jumped out of the ground and landed on the ground, Daylight Dimmer and Starburn ran in circles while Himeros and Eros had little trouble tracking them, they made their hatred magic surround themselves and dark green and bright red-orange flames surrounded them and closed in on them, Himeros and Eros shot orange and red beams at them and they put up shields and then jumped over them, Eros blocked the flames created by their hatred magic with his shield while Himeros took no damage, they then exploded and Eros grunted loudly. Daylight Dimmer and Starburn charged to them while the smoke remained and Eros spun around while holding his sword out and sent waves everywhere, they summoned spears and Starburn tried to stab Eros with it and he blocked with his shield, Daylight Dimmer then hit Eros' sword with his spear and then tilted it upwards, he summoned a long sword out of his front left hoof and it stabbed Eros' throat, he let out a slight grunt while dropping his sword and shield, Starburn stabbed his spear into Eros' left chest and put his anger and hatred into him, Eros screamed in agony while turning into red mist and he disappeared while the mist went back into the people whose lifespans he absorbed and those he killed got revived, Himeros looked on in shock for a second and quickly left.

Daylight Dimmer and Starburn made guns with their hatred magic and aimed them but Himeros was nowhere to be found and they made them disappear,

"Okay, got one." Starburn said,

"Good job." Daylight Dimmer stated,

"Thanks." Starburn spoke,

"Let head back." Daylight Dimmer stated, and they went back to the hideout. They arrived and walked to Demonicus,

"Good job on taking out Eros, Himeros is currently nowhere to be found, since he absorbs forgiveness, he can appear anywhere in the world due to Equestria spreading forgiveness to all countries, I'll let you know when he reemerges." Demonicus stated,

"I'm still surprised, he doesn't use any weapons like how his brother and sister did and he seems to somehow be stronger than them." Starburn said,

"Well, he is the oldest one, and likely the most experienced, he more than likely had more time to train and hone his fighting skills and powers when compared to Eros and Hathor as well." Demonicus deduced,

"What about Claudius?" Daylight Dimmer questioned,

"Nothing yet, me and the others haven't found him yet, we'll let all of you know when he reemerges." Demnoicus responded,

"So we rest for now?" Starburn asked,

"Yes, I'll look for Himeros in the meantime." Demonicus replied, and they walked away. Daylight Dimmer and Starburn walked and saw Master Nocturne standing in front of them,

"Your target is more skilled than a typical hand-to-hand combat fighter, his moves seem basic now, but he seems to be hiding some of his own moves, you two can use some training in fighting someone who uses his style." Master Nocturne stated,

"You guys got tricks to show us?" Daylight Dimmer asked,

"Of course, Master Nocturne will show you ways to fight and counter someone like him." Robin replied,

"Thanks, but we need to recover first." Starburn stated,

"No need, the unicorns can heal you guys." Master Nocturne responded, and Archmage Astral Plane cast a spell and healed them,

"There, let's begin now." Master Nocturne said, and they did. He mimicked Himeros' fighting style and showed Daylight Dimmer and Starburn how to block, dodge, and counter them while he and the other Pegasi from Dreaming Paradise helped them do the moves properly, they noticed Master Nocturne mimic Himeros' attacks easily and he began fighting them, they blocked and dodged his attacks but still had some trouble, they managed to punch and kick him a few times but he did not go down. Robin, Night Witch, and Red Baron helped them perform the attacks and Daylight Dimmer did stronger hits while Starburn was more flexible, they continued training and they collapsed after forty minutes,

"Okay, I guess that's enough for today, go ahead and rest, guys." Robin said, and they did. They sat and looked at the sky and watched the clouds pass by, they smiled while guessing the shapes of the clouds, they waited for the time to pass while their energies came back and the others continued training, they fell asleep while the others continued with their days. Champion Lucius mimicked Himeros' fighting style the next day and his attacks sent Daylight Dimmer and Starburn flying,

"Typical impact, not many can handle the strength of my attacks." Champion Lucius remarked, Daylight Dimmer and Starburn got back up and ran to him, Champion Lucius smacked Starburn away and punched Daylight Dimmer and he fell, they got back up and ran to him, they jumped over Champion Lucius' fists and did somersaults and tried to kick him with their hind hoofs but he swayed to the sides and dodged them. They did back flips and tried to land on Champion Lucius' shoulders but he grabbed their necks while they were in the air and choked them,

"If you two can stand a chance against me, then you will be able to stand up against Himeros." Champion Lucius said, and he threw them forward and they coughed,

"Daylight Dimmer, Starburn, Himeros has reappeared." Demonicus reported, and they ran to him, they saw Himeros floating in Equestria and absorbing the life energies of ponies forgiving one another,

"Of course he'd be in Equestria." Daylight Dimmer remarked,

"Go on and hunt him down before he disappears again." Demonicus said,

"Let's go, Starburn." Daylight Dimmer stated, and they left.

Daylight Dimmer and Starburn arrived in Equestria and saw Himeros absorbing life energies out of the ponies forgiving one another, they saw there were too many ponies around them and did not summon their weapons, they walked away and hid from the others while watching Himeros, he absorbed more and then floated away. Daylight Dimmer and Starburn followed him and went out of Equestria, they ran and jumped while Himeros heard them, he quickly turned around and kicked them away, they grunted and Daylight Dimmer did a back flip and landed on his hoofs while Starburn slid on the ground,

"So you two did come back after all, I didn't care much about Hathor, but I did care about Eros, I'll avenge him if it's the last thing I do in my life." Himeros declared, and he floated down while Starburn stood up and he and Daylight Dimmer ran to him while summoning their swords.

Himeros punched his fists into the ground and orange explosions erupted and went into the sky, it divided into smaller projectiles and homed on them, Daylight Dimmer and Starburn spun their swords around to try to cut and cancel out the projectiles but each one sent them flying back and they grunted, Himeros' eyes then glowed and he shot two orange beams out of them and Daylight Dimmer and Starburn ran and jumped over them, they tried to slash him with their swords but he teleported back while a doppelganger made from his orange energy took his place and clapped their swords together between his palms. Himeros' body double began transferring the energy in his body into their swords and the hatred magic began to become overpowered, they let go of their swords and dropped down, Himeros' body double absorbed them into his body and then shot them out as small orange beams, Daylight Dimmer and Starburn summoned shields but each projectile destroyed them and pushed them back, they got on their backs and let themselves get buried underground, Himeros' body double stomped his right foot on the ground and it began to turn orange, Daylight Dimmer and Starburn noticed and dug deeper, they saw where the orange energy was originating and Daylight Dimmer shot a dark green blast out of his front hoofs while Starburn shot a bright red-orange energy blast out of his front hoofs and they hit and destroyed Himeros' body double. They looked for Himeros but did not find him anywhere, they jumped up and there was no sign of him anywhere, an orange circle appeared on the ground and surrounded them, orange energy blasts came out everywhere and homed on them, Daylight Dimmer and Starburn landed and sprinted but long beams came out instead and they became trapped. Daylight Dimmer and Starburn put their shields up and they grunted while Himeros' beams and blasts hit them and put craters in the ground, they grunted loudly and the entire ground got encircled by the orange energy and turned orange, Daylight Dimmer and Starburn quickly ran and jumped out of the circle and a big explosion happened, they heard people coming and they ran away quickly.

Daylight Dimmer and Starburn sprinted and recalled Master Nocturne's training and they dodged and jumped around every object in their path and got past them easily, the objects turned orange and exploded, they dodged them easily and ran forward while the explosions changed into beams and homed on them. Daylight Dimmer and Starburn shot hatred magic everywhere to try to cancel out Himeros' beams but theirs got destroyed instead, Himeros then appeared above them and punched his fists into the back of Daylight Dimmer's and Starburn's necks, they fell over and his projectiles hit them and they grunted very loudly while Himeros tried to put his orange energy into their bodies, Daylight Dimmer and Starburn screamed while the orange energy began to poison them. They growled and used their hatred magic to make spears grow out of their backs and impale Himeros, he grunted a little while his fists were pushed out of the back of their necks and they stood up and used their hatred magic to put spikes on the back of their front legs' knees', they stuck Himeros in his torso with them and tried to put their hatred magic in him, but he grunted and the orange energy in his body shot them out. Daylight Dimmer and Starburn stood up and summoned crossbows, they shot arrows made from their hatred magic but Himeros caught the arrows easily and they turned orange, he threw them back and they rowed to the sides to dodge them and the arrows exploded when they touched the ground, Himeros lunged to them and tried to shoot orange blasts out of his palms at them but they ducked and dodged them and then grabbed Himeros' feet and grunted while throwing him over themselves, Himeros did a somersault and landed on his feet.

Himeros flexed his muscles and shot a big orange blast shaped like his body at them and Daylight Dimmer and Starburn rolled to the sides and dodged it, it hit an object out of sight and exploded and orange beams came out of it and homed on them, they quickly faced Himeros and shot blasts at him out of their front hoofs and he grunted a little when he got hit in the back, he turned around and shot two blasts out of his hands and they laid on their stomachs and dodged them. Daylight Dimmer and Starburn shot beams out of their front hoofs and at Himeros' legs, he grunted and stumbled a little but did not fall, the beams caught up to them and they put up shields, they got hit and flew forward Daylight Dimmer held his front right hoof out to the side while Starburn held his front left hoof out to the side, they summoned straight lines with their hatred magic and tried to cut Himeros at his waist, he jumped over them and Daylight Dimmer and Starburn landed, they jumped and tried to cut his body apart and shot small projectiles out of their free front hoofs, Himeros created doppelgangers of himself and he moved side-to-side while in midair, his doppelgangers shot blasts out of their hands at them and then floated around them to encircle them and began punching them with orange waves coming out of each punch. Daylight Dimmer and Starburn grunted loudly from each punch and fell onto the ground, Himeros and his doppelgangers shot orange energy blasts out of their hands and they rolled to the sides, they panted while Himeros' doppelgangers shot more blasts at them, they dodged them again but the blasts homed on them, they put up shields to block them and let the impacts bury them underground while the body doubles did kicks and sent orange energy waves at them, Himeros punched his fists into the ground and shot orange energy into the ground, Daylight Dimmer and Starburn screamed while getting shot into the sky, they shot blasts everywhere and destroyed Himeros' doppelgangers while their anger and hatred made their magic stronger and Himeros crossed his arms across his torso and blocked the attacks. Daylight Dimmer and Starburn landed and stumbled, Himeros lunged towards them and they did back flips and dodged him while he shot blasts out of his back, they put up shields and got pushed back and they panted, Starburn summoned pistols while Daylight Dimmer summoned a shotgun, they shot hatred magic into Himeros and he grunted a little but it did not do much, Himeros flexed his body and the hatred magic in his body turned orange and shot them out, they ducked while panting and Himeros lunged towards them again, they quickly summoned spears and stabbed them into Himeros' abdomen and put their hatred magic in him, Himeros screamed while turning into orange mist and he disappeared while the mist went back into the people whose lifespans he absorbed and those he killed got revived.

Daylight Dimmer and Starburn panted heavily and saw they have succeeded,

"Good job, Starburn." Daylight Dimmer said,

"Thanks, you too." Starburn replied,

"Let's hide and recover." Daylight Dimmer suggested, and they went underground while they heard people coming, they recovered after about five hours and crawled away. They left the area and came to the surface and went back to the others, they arrived and everybody clapped,

"Good work, Himeros has been destroyed, and with that, the Friendship Absorbers are gone for good." Demonicus stated,

"Were those three from a realm in the Void?" Starburn asked,

"I did not see anyone like them in the other realms." Spirit answered,

"If we had to take a guess, they're native to this world, they're probably a kind of creature that is from the prerecorded parts of history, they are so ancient, not only are there no records of them, but they have become extinct until only those three remained and they have become forgotten over time." Robin deduced,

"Considering they were empowered by love, friendship, and forgiveness, them being native here is possible." Daylight Dimmer stated,

"Indeed, maybe we'll find something about them one day." Doctor Whooves stated,

"Go ahead and rest now, guys, we'll watch for Claudius." Demonicus said, and they laid down and recovered and everybody else either trained or looked for Claudius.
