Trixie's Bad Day

Trixie awoke with a jolt as she heard an angry voice, "If I catch you one more time sleeping on the job I'm firing you for good!" Trixie looked up, it was her boss Pony Joe who looked very angry "Sorry Sir.." Trixie murmured nervously. "Get finished with these tables I ain't paying you to sleep!" Pony Joe ruffed as he walked away, Trixie sighed she missed her old job but no one liked her boasting anymore and she had to find a new one. Once Trixie's shift was over she walked out of Joe's and to her small house up on a hill away from all the other ponies. Trixie sat on her chair as she looked in the mirror at herself, sitting on the desk in front of her was her old hat and cape. Trixie put on the hat and looked into the mirror again and started to tear up. Then there was a knock on the door as Trixie got up, wiped the tears from her face and answered it. It was Derpy "I brought you a letter Trixie I hope you like it!" Derpy squealed with delight. Trixie groaned and took the letter as Derpy coughed as Trixie had forgot something. Trixie looked at Derpy with a annoyed face as Trixie handed over a muffin to Derpy "Thanks for the Tip Trixie!" Derpy said as she gobbled up the muffin and flew away. Trixie opened the letter and read it silently to herself then a big smile grew across Trixie's Face. Trixie ran around with delight laughing and smiling with glee "Yes a Family Reunion!" Trixie yelled with delight. Family Reunions may be bad for someponies but Trixie loved them, Trixie's family is supportive, kind and caring to everypony they meet and to Trixie. Trixie's brother Pokey Pierce made hilarious jokes, her uncle Tale Travis told the best stories and pretty much everyone else in Trixie's family had very interesting, and funny things to show and tell. Trixie was very excited but she had a long ways to go as the address was in Las Pegasus. 2 days later Trixie had her day off today and was ready to leave early in the morning to head to the family reunion. She left her house with her saddle bag and headed off. She went down the usual road but something was wrong the road was under construction. "What's going on here? Trixie asked the worker "Well the road here has been getting old and started to crack so we have decided to pave a new one." the worker answered. Trixie twitched as she knew that the only other way to get to Las Pegasus was to go threw the Everfree forest. Trixie gulped and slowly walked away from the road and made her way into the forest. "Well I guess this isn't that bad" Trixie laughed anxiously as she headed into the forest..
