The Ponyville citizens looked at the group of ponies in horror at the blood that cover them. "He-He's dead," Berry told the townsponies. The ponies just eye Berry because she was the only pony that didn't have blood on her. They looked at her in suspicion.
"The timberwolf gobbled him all up," The mare that didn't mind Berry tagging along told the ponies that lived in the town. They all backed away from her because of her aggressiveness.
"How badly?" One of the younger mares asked. The other mare glared at the younger mare.
"Didn't you hear her?" She started. "She said that he's dead! D-E-A-D! Gone forever!" She shouted. Berry galloped up to the mare that was fuming in anger.
"Stop it, please," the hurt mare tells her friend. The other mare just gazed at her in a way that made Berry frown slightly. The mare then sighed and she calmed down.
"Fine," she softly says, walking away from the group. She suddenly wanted to get away. She gazed at Berry again and she wished that she wasn't so forgiving. She ran off, but she heard Berry's cry to talk to her later. She didn't answer, but she did turn to acknowledge that she heard the mare. She's so fucking forgiving! What if she was the one that was killed?! He was thinking of killing her. She thought. She decided to calm down, because her anger was strong and she was mean and very abusive when angry.
......
Berry was sadly looking at the place where her friend was just standing. Her friend didn't want anypony, but her to know her name. Her name was Rough Record. Berry affectionately calls her "Re-Re" from time to time. To everypony else, she was "Stranger" or "Weird Mare". Rough Record didn't care about their opinions; she wasn't programmed to care about their feelings. Rough Record was a hard mare to get along with. How she and Berry got along was a mystery to some.
"Your friend is very aggressive, miss," one of the stallions tells Berry. Berry smiled at the stallion.
"She's always like that. It's her personality," Berry admitted. The stallions and the other ponies just stared at her with a strange look in their eyes.
"How are you friends with a mare like that?" One of the younger ponies asked Berry. Berry smiled.
"She's nice when you get to know her." Berry answered. She knew that Rough Record was only nice to her, but she didn't want to say that. It is possible to like only one person and Rough Record was that sort of pony who only liked one pony. Rough Record is naturally aggressive, however, as she is very distrustful. However, dealing with Berry's shy nature made Rough Record smile a whole lot more and she was at least a lot nicer when's Berry is around. Berry was easily made into Rough Record's best friend because the mare didn't want anypony but her to be her friend.
Berry didn't want to leave Rough Record by herself, but she was too angry at the moment and Rough Record didn't know how to control her anger and no one tried to help her because they were scared of her. She was prone to violent outbursts and fighting. Berry remembered the first time that Rough Record got into a fight because her honor was at sake. Rough Record had seen Berry getting bullied by some older stallions and she roughed them up pretty badly. The only reason that she wasn't arrested was because somepony had seen the stallions mess with Berry and Berry was still considered young at the time. At the age of 17, however, she is considered a young adult.
Berry looked around and she saw everypony's disapproving stares directed at her and she suddenly wanted to flee from them as a heavy breath was released from her throat. She knew that they already hated Rough Record, even though they didn't know her at all. They just thought that since she was violent, she was a mare to stay away from. This wasn't the Ponyville that Berry was told about at all. Berry was told that Ponyville was a town filled with friendly ponies. This wasn't friendly at all. She sighed.
She slowly walked away from the town and she sat by the town's entrance. She didn't feel welcome at all.
Author's Note
This is my second story written and first story published on this website. I hope it is enjoyable. It will get scary when the plot gets thicker.
In was in the dead of night, a group of ponies were venturing into the Everfree Forest. They were only there to get a feel for the so-called scariness of the forest. However, what they didn't know was that they were being stalked by a timberwolf. The twiggy wolf was growling and snarling to itself and it waited to attack them.
One of the group members, a young mare, was whimpering in fear. "Is this safe? The Everfree Forest is known for its timberwolves," she tells the other group members. They gently brushed her warnings off.
"Relax, Berry. We haven't seen one timberwolf yet. They're probably asleep," the leader of the group tells Berry. Berry is such a foal! We probably shouldn't have even brought her along! He thought angrily. He wanted to let Berry die in their places if a timberwolf does shows itself.
Berry then heard a snarl behind her and she froze. The timberwolf wanted to see if she would make a decent meal. The timberwolf growled as it walked up closer to her. Berry noticed that her friends were leaving her, but she didn't want the timberwolf to attack her. The timberwolf brushed its twiggy head against's Berry's side as its rough tongue came out to lick Berry's face. Berry expected to be eaten, however, she was surprised when the timberwolf started to growl affectionately at her. She had never studied this sort of behavior with timberwolves. Other creatures maybe, but not a timberwolf. A timberwolf isn't known to be affectionate. When the timberwolf saw the leader, a burning hatred ran through the wolf and it ran towards the stuck-up stallion.
A scream of pain erupted from the stallion as the timberwolf started to eat and gnaw on the stallion's bones. The other group except for one member screamed in horror. The non screaming mare just looked at the stallion in disgust. That is what you deserve, Buckle Buck. She thought. Berry gazed at the mare, who closed her eyes when she noticed that Berry was staring at her.
They ran back to Ponyville to tell the police of the new bloodied body.
