Something's Wrong

"...Set" A faint voice said. Sunset couldn't hear it well, or see well, but she thought she had recognized it.

"Sun...." It said again, this time being closer than before, as if she could reach out to it.

"Sunset! Wake Up!" Rainbow Dash shouted, shaking her friend, who slowly began to open her eyes. Once she came too, she immediately remembered what had happened. The car crash.

"Rainbow!" Sunset shouted, hugging her friend. "Are you alright? That crash was awful!" Rainbow nodded her head in response, and took a quick look around.

"I'm fine.... But I'm not sure if I'm dreaming or not..." Rainbow commented. There was a thick fog covering the area they were in, causing them to only be able to see a few feet in front of them. Not only that, but it was lightly snowing out. It was spring, so that should have been impossible.

"Rainbow..." Sunset said, extending her arm out to catch a piece of the falling snow. "Why is it so foggy out here, and more importantly, why is it snowing?" Rainbow shrugged as a response, then looked at her car, which had a large dent in the front of it, and some smoke was coming from under the hood.

"Now my car is totaled!" Rainbow said, as she face palmed, knowing that she would have to be the one to fix this. Sunset put a hand on her shoulder, before pointing in the other direction.

"It looks like we're in a forest, so maybe if we follow the path, we'll get into town." Sunset said, and Rainbow frowned.

"We're in Silent Hill, The town has been empty for who knows how long." Rainbow Dash said, pointing to a sign. When Sunset looked at the sign, it said Silent Hill Forest She looked back, rubbing the back of her head.

"Well, maybe they have a phone, or radio we can use." Sunset said. "Speaking of which, is your phone working?" Rainbow shook her head, as she pulled it out, the screen being cracked beyond repair. Sunset had forgotten hers when she left, so the only tool they had for communicating, was the book she used to write to Twilight with.

"Alright, let's go then." Rainbow said, putting her phone back into her pocket. Sunset grabbed the book she used for Twilight, then they both walked off into the deep fog. The more they walked, the more they saw what they couldn't see, due to the fog. There walk was mostly silent, until they got to what appeared to be a heavily cracked road.

"I knew the town was abandoned, but geez." Rainbow said, trying to avoid getting her foot stuck in one of the cracks. The eventually made it to the town, which was in decay. They both had there mouths opened, as the town was putting a strong feeling into the two girls. Loneliness, the worst feeling in the world.

"I'm cold...." Sunset complained, as she looked around. Rainbow nodded in agreement, as they continued there walk. There was no other soul in sight, just the unnatural fog that had somehow covered the entire town. Sunset shivered, but it wasn't due to the somewhat cold whether, it was because she had the feeling that something was wrong in this town. She would have to write to Twilight about the weirdness of it all.

"What's that...?" Rainbow asked, snapping Sunset out of her thoughts. She then heard the noise that Rainbow had picked up on. It was the static of a radio.

"It's a radio!" Sunset shouted, moving a little bit faster. "If we can get it, maybe we can radio for help." Rainbow seemed to like that idea, as she nodded in agreement with sunset. They both started to make there way towards the noise, and they could tell that they were getting a whole lot closer.

"I think I can see it..." Rainbow said, as she pointed to a faded object on the ground. They both walked over to it, and once they were close enough, they could see that it was indeed a radio.

"Great, now we can call for help." Sunset said, trying to adjust the knob on it so it would stop making the static noises, but they only grew louder, as a pair of footsteps gained closer to them.

"Hello...?" Sunset called out to the figure. It was hard to see them in the fog, but she could tell that it was human. What was weird about it, was the way it twitched while it moved. It was unsettling to say the least. As it moved closer, the louder the radio screeched. It got close enough were Rainbow and Sunset could clearly see it, and when they did, they both gasped with horror.

The figure that walked up to them looked decayed, like the rest of the town, it's clothes were torn to shreds, it's skin was a dark, and rotting, it's eyes had been torn out, blood dripping out of it's eye sockets, and it looked like it had just crawled out of a lake.

"What the-!" Rainbow said, as the creature leached itself onto her, nearly biting into her flesh. The static roared loudly, as Sunset tried her best to pull the creature off of her. The creature screamed, angry that it was being fought against by these two. Eventually, they pushed the creature all the way off, but not before it clawed Rainbows leg, causing her to yelp in pain, as she fell to the ground.

Sunset helped her up, before they both ran off in the opposite direction of that monster. Rainbow was having trouble at the thing she was usually good at doing, due to her injury on her leg, but they managed to escape the horrifying monster. As Sunset noticed that the radio had finally died down with the static, at a level where it couldn't be heard anymore.

They stopped running, as they took a breath of air.

"What was that?!" Sunset asked, pointing back at the road they ran on. "What's going on!?" Rainbow shook her head in disbelieve, as she to wasn't sure if what she'd saw was even real or not.

"I-I don't know-" Rainbow said, flinching at the pain her nerves felt. Sunset gave her friend a concerned look, as she looked around. She saw two more things lying on the ground, but she couldn't tell what they were. One had a rectangle shape to it, and the other one looked like a bottle.

"Hold on, I see something. Stay here and shout if that hing comes back." Sunset said. Rainbow nodded, even though she didn't want to be alone, she had putted on a brave face anyway. Sunset then ran over to the objects, which weren't that far away. Once she got there, she knew she hadn't wasted her time going there. She saw a first aid kit, and not only that, but a bottle that said, "Health Drink."

"This First Aid Kid should have some bandages, though I'm not so sure about this "Health Drink...." Sunset muttered to herself, as she walked back to Rainbow Dash, both of the materials in her hands. Rainbow looked up at her, and the things she held in her hands.

"Thank god...." She said, relived that Sunset had found the items. Now her wounds could be sealed properly. Sunset got down onto her knee's, and opened the kit, seeing the bandages inside it, She pulled them out, them lifted a sleeve on Rainbows jeans, revealing the cut hidden under it. She began to wrap them around the cut, which she did quickly and properly. After she had finished, she held out the health drink for Rainbow.

"Here, take this." Sunset said. "This should help numb the pain..." Rainbow gave her an unsure look. Sure, she was a daredevil, but not even she was stupid enough to take some random drink that was found in a foggy town full of monsters.

"No thank you...." Rainbow said, pushing it away. "I don't know where that's been, and neither do you. I don't trust anything in this town." Sunset could see that, so she just put the bottle in her pocket. She didn't exactly trust that bottle either, but she thought maybe it would help.

"Well, we shouldn't just stand here, let's get out of this town." Sunset said. Rainbow nodded with agreement,, as she to no longer wanted to be there.

"Lets go, help me up." Rainbow said, holding out her hand, which Sunset took, then pulled up, getting Rainbow to her feet. They both turned and faced a random direction, as they both started running. They didn't care how tired they got, they needed to get out of that town, no matter what. Sunset hadn't ran as fast as she did at that moment before, and she wasn't planning on stopping until they were out of the town.

"I think... we're almost there...." Sunset said, painting with exhaustion. She was right however, they were getting closer to the end of the town. They just needed to get just a little closer, and they would be home free. Sunset immediately stopped, as they came to the end of the road, so did Rainbow. The road was completely cut off, a hole that seemed to go down forever was there.

"What the...." Rainbow said, as she looked down the endless hole. "This sin't normal.... Right...?" Sunset shook her head in response, as she too took a look down the hole.

"No... I've never seen anything like this before...." Sunset replied. She pulled out the book she used to communicate with Twilight, but she forgot the pen she used in the car.

"This isn't normal.... We should probably ask Twilight for help...." Sunset said, and Rainbow just looked at her with a confused look. Sunset noticed this, and held up the book she used to talk with Twilight with, and Rainbow let out an "oh." As a response. "Do you have a pen?" Rainbow shook her head.

"No.... But how would Twilight help us out anyway?" Rainbow asked. "She's all the way in Equestria, and we're in some whacked up version of Silent Hill." Sunset knew this was true. It was most likely they weren't even on earth anymore, but instead, in some sort of purgatory, alone, only having the monsters and the emptiness as company.

"I don't know.... But trying to get into contact with her is better than just standing here doing nothing but running from the monsters, right?" Sunset asked her rainbow colored haired friend, who just nodded her head in response. She smiled. "Let's get going then, we should probably check out some of the buildings." As they were about to continue there walk into the town, Rainbow let out a yelp of pain.

"Ow! My leg hurts...." She said, putting her hand in the same spot she got that cut. Sunset once again grabbed the bottle. She hated to see her friend in pain.

"Here, take this.... It'll make you feel better, believe me...." Sunset offered. Rainbow was once again about to refuse her offer, but stopped when she felt the pain striking again, this time worse than before.

"Okay fine, but it better not poison me." Rainbow said with a grunt, as she grabbed the bottle out of her hands, and popped off the lid. After doing that, she began to drink down the contents of the bottle, which tasted bitter, yet sweet, a taste that was hard to describe. Once she was done, she could feel her leg start to feel just a little better. The health drink had worked.

"How does your leg feel?" Sunset asked, and Rainbow gave out a small nod.

"It feels a whole lot better, now that I had that health drink thingy." Rainbow replied, with a satisfied smile. "Now come on, let's try to get out of here.... Hopefully, we will...." She said, They both started to walk once again in the empty, quit town that they were stuck in, As they walked, Sunset felt something crinkle under her feet.

"Huh? What's this?" Sunset asked herself, as she picked up the piece of paper that laid on the ground. She looked at what it was, and it turned out to be a map of Silent Hill. Rainbow saw the map in Sunsets hands, and they both noticed that they were markings on the map. Some of them showed certain area's that wee blocked off, and it also showed that all exit routes in the town were also blocked off.

"This isn't good....." Sunset said, seeing that most of the area's were blocked off. Rainbow Dash however, noticed that there was a place marked on the map.

"What about there?" Rainbow said, pointing to the area. Sunset looked at it, and saw that the place marked was called Heavens Night. "Doesn't that mean there's something there?" Sunset nodded, but they were pretty far away from it.

"Yeah, we should probably check it out, unfortunately it looks like we'll have to take quit a walk to get there." Sunset replied.

"Well, lets not just stand here, lets get going." Rainbow said. Sunset nodded, as they both started to make there way to that place. On the way, they felt alone in the town, but was only because they were. The radio went off several times during their walk, but they never found the source for any of the times it went off. They both also felt like they were being watched by something, but they never found the source to that either.

"I think, we're almost there...." Sunset said, looking at the map. She was right, they were almost at Heavens Night. As they walked, they saw a small metal staircase that lead up to a door on a building. They also heard the loud cry of something, that made their blood froze.

"I think someone's in trouble!" Rainbow said, running up the metal staircases, that building being the source of the screaming, which was still happening. Rainbow reached the door, but when she tried to open it, it was jammed shut. The screaming only seemed to get louder, as both Rainbow and Sunset were trying their best to get the door open.

"Why wont this thing open?!" Rainbow said, as the screams finally died down. Once they did, the door let loose, and opened with ease. They both ran in, but saw no one. Not a single soul in sight, the only indication of life ever being there, was the blood stain found on the ground.

"But how?!" Sunset asked, looking around the run down place. They were defiantly in Heaven's Night, the glowing sign said so, and they could both tell now that it was a strip club, due to the pole on the stage that they could easily see. However, the screams were never there, and if that was the case, then why did they hear them?

"This place is marked on the map, so there has to be something here." Sunset said, looking around the room. She noticed something on one of the tables there. It was a small handgun with a few packs of bullets lying near it. Sunset went over, and picked the items up. She never used a gun before, but considering all the monsters running around, she would most likely need this for another occasion.

"Is that all we came here for?" Rainbow asked. "A gun?" Sunset nodded as a response, seeing that there was nothing else in there they could use.

"Well, at least we have something we can use against the monsters now." Sunset said. Rainbow nodded, knowing that was true.

"If there's no other reason to be here, then let's-" Rainbow was saying, but she was cut off by a noise. A loud siren wailed in the distance, confusing Sunset and Rainbow Dash.

"What's that?" Sunset asked, with some panic in her voice. She had no idea why it was going off like that, but whatever the reason was, it couldn't be good. Suddenly, the room they were in started to get darker and darker, as everything seemed to just melt away, and be replaced by rusted metal.

Sunset saw that there was a small flashlight on one of the tables, so she dashed over to it, and quickly picked it up, turning it on in the process. Once she did, she pointed it at Rainbow, as the siren got louder by the second. Rainbow was looking at her hand, shocked, and so was Sunset. Rainbow's hand was disappearing, along with the rest of the world.

"Rainbow Dash?!" Sunset cried out, but to no avail, as her friend just disappeared along with the rest of the world, which was now just a rusted metal sort type, which scared Sunset even more than she had to be. She was about to run out, to see if she could find Rainbow Dash, but she heard some sort of moaning behind her, making her freeze. She turned around and to her horror, saw the same monster that scratched Rainbow Dash.

"GAH!" Sunset screamed, as she ran to the door, but when she tried to open it, she realized the lock was broken, making it un open-able. She turned around, and saw the creature approaching her. She then remembered the handgun she found. She quickly pulled it out, and started firing random shots at the monster. Most of the bullets made contact with it, and eventually, it fell to the ground, and died slowly and painfully.

Sunset was gasping for air, as she leaned against the door. She was locked inside the building.

"If I could only get to Twilight..." Sunset mumbled, rubbing her head, as she let her body slide down the door, as she fell into a deep sleep, the siren finally going quite.
