Pac-Man vs Applejack
"What in the hay is goin' on here?!" Applejack exclaimed.
In front of her was a short critter that stood on its two legs: like Spike but rounder, more yellow, and has no scales.
Or a mind for manners.
"Hey, that's Apple property your eatin' there!"
The yellow critter didn't seem to care: it just leaned back against the apple tree and threw another apple into its large maw.
It doesn't even chew.
Before another Red Delicious could end it's suspension into the black maw of doom, it was caught in rope and yanked away from it's intended path.
"I said that's Property your eatin'! Your suppose to buy that!"
The critter gave it an angry look.
"That's it... I'm gettin' Fluttershy. Let's just you ya don't-- HEY!"
When she turned to leave, an apple was hurled onto the back of her neck.
"Oh no, ya didn't..."
FIGHT!
Applejack backed up to an apple tree and gave it a kick with her hind hoof, and down went an apple.
In perfect form, learned from practice, she curled herself to use the same hoof to launch a fallen apple towards the yellow menace.
Pac-Man was knocked on the head.
But he was smarter than to be angry.
Applejack shot two more apples, but both only hit the tree he was chilling on as he turned tail to hide behind it.
With cover provided, Pac-Man raised a gloved hand in the air. Out of thin air came two-dimensional fruit known as 'bonus fruit': first a cherry, then a strawberry.
Applejack knew when a pony was scheming up to no-good and could recognize the sound of what she could assume was some strange magic. Not allowing it, she ran after Pac-Man with her lasso ready and braced herself for the worse.
Pac-Man could only make it to the Orange before he heard the bustle of a canter.
"Now wait just a minute!"
Applejack readied her lasso and was about to catch this beast: only to find her rope tied around a fire hydrant.
"What in tarnation...?"
Pac-Man travelled up the tree in his chomping form - a yellow orb with only a large mouth that opens and closes - then settled on top of the tree and raised his hand to continue his delicious witchcraft.
Applejack heard the noise again and knew just where he was.
"Gotcha."
She swung her lasso in the air in a big loop and aimed carefully at the yellow menace. She grinned, for she knew she had him.
Out came the Apple up Pac-Man's hand after Orange, then out came the Watermelon: just what he wanted, just in time.
"Con sarnet!"
Pac-Man jumped to avoid the lasso.
But as a consequence, he was now in the open on the ground.
"You're mine now!"
She stubbornly readied the lasso again for another attempt.
Pac-Man looked with shock.
Why wasn't she launching another apple? It's what she did before... proceeding with his original counter-plan, he decided to summon then throw the melon towards the lasso so that would be caught instead.
Applejack looked in shock and horror at the image of a three-dimensional rope tied around a two-dimensional watermelon.
Confusion being his best advantage, Pac-Man charged after her in his chopping form.
There was a long distance as he charged, so she managed to pull the melon back.
Pac-Man was getting close. She had to do something, and fast. Only Celestia knew what it was even doing...
She threw the melon.
This had hurt the yellow menace and, to her surprise, launched him as if he was hit with a horse-drawn carriage.
Pac-Man recovered from this by summoning another fire hydrant. He took the two seconds to summon a Strawberry before throwing it in front of it's water-spurt, it's cartoonishly solidness pushing it further and faster towards her.
Applejack charged towards him and jumped over it, but he was ready for that.
He ran behind the water and made sure the right was under her.
With his raised glove, he summoned a cherry. Applejack froze inside the cherry in a strange break of physics, similar to what one would call a 'glitch'. This killed her momentum and left her to dully fall behind him.
Pac-Man turned around for a swipe-kick in the gut before following it with a jump-to-aerial kick. This comboed into itself twice by landing and jumping again for another jump.
Grounded, he allowed her to land so he could continue his summon from Cherry to Orange then threw it to end the combo, only for Applejack to recover quick enough to buck it away.
"Why I outta..."
She threw her lasso, and for the first time since the fight started, finally managed to catch him.
Despite the dire situation, Pac-Man only looked with a slightly concerned expression: he didn't seem to be afraid at all.
This only angered Applejack further as she pulled him over for a good beating.
She started with a good hind-hoof kick to the face before twisting to hit him again with her other hoof: her way of formally introducing a no-good thief to Bucky McGillicuddy and Kicks McGee.
She twisted again to readjust for her grand her grand buck.
And it hit.
Pac-Man launched far and was unable to stop flying until a tree stopped him: leaving him in a world pain.
"That's what ya get!"
Pac-Man considered her with a thoughtful expression instead of groaning in pain or anything a normal pony would do. Suddenly, he brightened up again with that huge, incredibly infuriating smile.
Was he having fun?
It seemed so when he threw the hydrant below him again and elevated to the sheltering top of the trees with water.
"... I don't think it's Fluttershy I need..." she hears the sound of him magicking again. "I think I need Twilight..."
The sound went on.
She was beginning to have a bad feeling.
It kept going and going...
She stepped forward consciously.
What if he was luring her?
What if he was preparing to assault?
How would she even handle... that thing?
The sound stopped.
She gulped.
The birds chirped, the fruit-bats kept munched from the distance, the squirrels rustled through the grass and climbed the trees.
Her shoulders dropped.
"Ah... are ya alright up there--"
The last thing she saw was a key.
Satisfied with her unconsciousness, Pac-Mac leapt back onto the ground and resumed his meal.
